I can't believe this happened YET AGAIN. My co-worker and I go to the Wendy's for lunch. She wanted Rubios, but I told her I really wanted to dry the new cookie dough frosty you guys have advertised all over the windows. We order our lunches and I say I want that frosty and guess what? I'm told by the cashier "We won't have those in until tomorrow." Now, I had at least 3 times with the Thin Mint frosty's, the stores were out of syrup or some such thing. Now this, with the new Frosty. How about you guys DO NOT put posters on your windows, until they actually come in. It's nuts how often this happens. People used to joke about the McFlurry machines at McDonald's never working, but this is about the same thing. And how come it won't let me just post this on the Wendy's site? It's been a while since I've been to Wendy, so I was excited to try it again. Unfortunately, I won't be back. Took forever for someone to come out and take my order (I don't have the app). When someone FINALLY came out, I couldn't understand them. When I placed my order, I specifically said 'no cheese' three times. I kept repeating it because I HATE cheese on my burgers. My son lives Wendy's and really who doesn't live a chocolate frosty on a warm day in SD? Today I came for the meal of misfortune and it did not disappoint! Chicken tenders and fries were tasty, the sauce was a mystery but had a kick of heat to them but the real star of the show for me was the vanilla frosty with the almost black cherry tasting topping. So good! I ordered online and when I arrived only waited a little (and it was because they were making everything fresh which was great). Staff was nice, welcomed me as soon as I walked in and let me know the status of my order. It was a little before dinner time and there were a few people dining in but the drive thru was busy. Went to Wendy's. Waited in line for 2 minutes. Advanced to ordering screen. Was told breakfast stopped 3 minutes ago. The car a head of me was served. Called the main office. Patrica answered to me to go back and use her name to get a biscuit. That was a lie. The cashier didn't know who Patrica was. Had no idea. I was happy to receive coupons for free saucy nuggets and a frosty In the mail. In the past I've gone to this Wendy's and didn't have the best experience from slow service, to lacking menu items or having an open sign when they were closed. But today was better. I enjoyed the buffalo saucy nuggets, will definitely order them again. I had a baked potato and vanilla frosty. The staff were friendly and able to take my order easily. Their EBT machine was working today which was nice. And my food was ready before he was able to process my payment. Overall good experience. They also had a Spooky coupon book which was only $1 and gives you 5 Junior frosties which was cool. read more

I'm surprised this location is still here, this is unfortunately the closest Wendy's to me but because it's so bad I don't come here often. I guess I keep hoping that they would get better management but they never do. The food is the oldest, driest, unflavored food here 99% of the time, if you're lucky to get fresh food, you're 1 in a million, this location has the rudest, slowest, uncaring type of people that work here. I really don't understand because no matter who is working and no matter how nice and patient I am, everyone here still has attitude with you. Today was it, I wanted to surprise my kids with the 4 for 4$ and it went horribly wrong, first they don't have 4 for 4's anymore, it's now a 4 for 5$ and just a regular cheeseburger and not a jr bacon cheeseburger. Then I noticed everything else I ordered was ringing up on the screen more money then what it states on the menu. So if you don't want Wendy's getting over on you, I would check your order and say something. Fast forward to when I finally got home with the food since I ran into more problems once I checked the food and had to go back. I ordered items on promotion but they said they the promotion ended yesterday even though the advertisement saying the promotion still has two weeks. It seems Wendy's excuse for not offering promotional items and they simply using advertisement to get customers in. It happened twice for me in two different times. The guy taking orders at the drive-through sounded like he wanted to hurry up and get back to doing nothing. I started ordering and the dude is giving my total before I'm even finished. When I tell him I'm not finished ordering, no apology, "what else do you want" is what he said. The management team needs to do a better job hiring somebody more apt to serving people. The coffee that he gave me tasted like glass cleaner as if they didn't fully rinse the pot before brewing another pot of coffee. Took one sip and that was it, complete waste of money. Date of visit: September 1, 2019 Wendy's sure talks a lot of smack on Twitter... but maybe because that's all they've got, due to underwhelming food items and no toasted buns on their sandwiches. There are a few items that they do have that are worth trying, such as their Frosty dessert, their baked potatoes, and the return of the Spicy Chicken Nuggets (thanks, Chance the Rapper!), so it was for the latter that I decided to come out to my closest Wendy's today for lunch. I went with their $5 Biggie Bag - a Bacon Double Stack, a 4-piece Spicy Chicken Nuggets, a small fry, and a regular drink - and added an extra 4-piece Spicy Chicken Nugget ($1.39) for good measure. The fries weren't that crispy and cooled down quickly; the burger itself wasn't that beefy (I had to check to see if there were two patties in there - and there were) and as the bun wasn't toasted, made for a disappointing sandwich. What saved the meal were the spicy chicken nuggets - they had the right amount of spice, and for a four-piece order, the chicken was surprisingly meaty. No self-service drink fountain here, though; you have to go to the counter for refills... and given how busy the counter gets (or how slow, depending on where the employees are), it could take a while before you get your cup refilled with the beverage of your choice. So, a two-star review redeemed by the spicy chicken nuggets... but otherwise Wendy's stays at the bottom of the pack in my rotation of fast food restaurants. read more

I can't believe how slow it is here. I keep coming back because it's the closest Wendy's to me and every time I hope service gets a bit faster but nope. Here I am standing for 40 minutes waiting for one burger and one drink. We were in the mood to try seasonal Peppermint Frostys, and this Wendy's was not far from where we were shopping ... and very close to I-15. The counter associates were friendly and helpful. There were five cars in line for the drive-thru around 1:30 pm, and three mobile order pickups (which have their own parking spaces). I was the only one coming inside to place an order. The smell of overheated fryer oil was unpleasant. As for the PEPPERSMINT FROSTY (4/5), it was very nice, good texture, but it could use more peppermint flavor. read more

Had a problem with payment. I have them a $20 bill and immediately was told it was counterfeit and when I asked if I could see the proof they shut the drive thru windows and walked away. So when I went in I asked for supervisor she would come talk to me and also refused to give me her name. Not sure if they didn't understand English but then I repeated in Spanish and again management refused to acknowledge me and give me a name. I've been here a few times and experience wasn't always the best but it's close to work when I don't bring my own lunch. Needless to say I'd rather go hungry than go back after this last experience. I ordered food from the mobile app in August, and it turned out the location was closed. I have contacted the restaurant and any associate or manager says i need to contact customer care. I have emailed care already and have not received any further information but that they will contact the store and the store does not do anything about it. After three months of not eating out (due to Covid), my husband and I made our second visit to this Wendy's since February at 3:15 pm. The food was piping hot and our order was on point. No errors. We paid $8.50 for two grilled chicken sandwiches, a large french fry, and a free Dave's single hamburger. (The single was free because I filled out a survey using the receipt from my first visit.) The reason I'm writing this review on Yelp instead of on the WendysWantstoKnow.com site is that we never received today's receipt. A lady worker interrupted the gentleman who was handling our drive-thru order and demanded to know if my husband was going to leave a good or a bad review. We were both confused because we were focused on trying to make sure we paid the right amount. She repeated herself several times but my husband didn't respond because he never writes reviews. He just wanted his food. We paid. Her co-worker handed us the food, our $12 in change, and wished us a good day. We drove off and that's when we realized we never received our receipt. It's too bad because I DO write reviews and wish I could have left a good review for the gentleman who took our order. I really do like this Wendy's but don't think that Wendy's staff should be demanding good reviews in exchange for receipts.
