Compared to almost every other fast food restaurant around this one is the best. And I've been eating here for the past couple months. The place is always clean they do a good job keeping it that way too. The staff is great I haven't had any problems and they are very consistent as well with being attentive and quick. Went into Wendy's on Santa Rosa Ave today for lunch. I had my SF 49er jacket on and the cashier says "sorry, we don't serve Niner fans here." I thought he was joking so I say "are you a Raider's fan?" He says "no I am a fan of respectable teams and you ain't 1 of them!" And proceeded to do his feminine wrist swirl at my face. After somehow surviving my experience in Costco, I ventured over for an iced tea. It was like stepping into a late 90's television set. I'm sure I've seen those chairs on tv. I made small talk with a charming young guy after giving my order. He asked for my name. My name? Why did they need my name for a simple drink order? Was he trying to pick me up? Sadly (an old gal can dream), he was not hitting on me, only making my order a mandatorily more personable experience. I got my iced tea just a few moments after, along with a receipt with my name. A souvenir of a moment where I thought, for just a brief moment, that I might still be hot enough for super young dudes. Yeah, that's right, I gave 5 stars to a Wendy's. You wanna fight about it? This Wendy's gets five starts from me for only one reason really: they always, and I mean ALWAYS get our order right. Now, the dude's order runs every. single. time. to a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese only: that means no mayo, no lettuce, no tomato. I think this is a weird way to eat a spicy chicken sandwich, but whatever, it's his thing. I sometimes get grilled, sometimes fried, sometimes spicy, sometimes a burger; sometimes cheese, sometimes no mayo, sometimes extra pickles. It's never wrong. Ever. This is worth a lot to us. I am a huge fan of wendy's chilli (from a nutrition standpoint, its not really "that bad" as far as fast food goes, and the baked potatoes if you don't put all the crap on them, are pretty good too. I like almost everything at Wendy's - except for the hamburgers, bc my personal preference is I cant eat a square burger on a round bun, that and the bacon always tastes like waffle syrup. Came in today for lunch. Had chicken tenders, fries, ceaser salad and ice tea (standards in my Wendy's line up) also tried the coffee toffee shake thing a ma bob. Chicken tenders were oddly soggy as were the fries - the place had a bunch of customers, so I don't know what the deal was, but both tasted like they had been in a steamer for hours. blech. The salad was it's standard goodness, but really, how can you mess up a pre pack salad? and the coffee toffee thing looked horrid, but actually tasted pretty good. (pleasant surprise) As I was waiting (quite a while for my food b/c they were so busy) I was looking at the menu and doing some simple math - getting the combo meals aren't always the best deal here! the #9 is a 10 piece chicken tenders (yes, mystery parts which taste good in sweet and sour) small fry and small drink is $4.89 - if you were to get 2 5 piece nuggets (99 cents each) and a small fry and drink (both 99 cents also) that comes up to... $3.96 - considerably less, and the combos come with the small option, to 'upgrade' to medium is another 59 cents. likewise the kids meal is $3.69 for the nuggets and you only get 4 not 5 nuggets and a kids sized drink and fry (which according to nutritional facts is about 110 calories less on the fries and the drink is (guessing) about a 9 oz) for 3 buck you could have had an extra nugget and more fries and almost double the ice. (although no cool prize) frosties also come in vanilla now, not so sure how I feel about that, but next time you are in wendy's bring a calculator and do some adding on your own - the value's may not be as good as they sound. ps - if this was solely based on their chili and their ice tea - they'd get 4 stars. Only fast food restaurant that won't let you order take out from a walk in. I had a trailer on my truck and went and found a parking spot. Walked up and the door was locked. There's no way for me to order food without taking the trailer off my truck and going through the drive thru. There was no way I was going to be able to fit the truck and trailer through. What a waste of $30. I had my order repeated back to me twice, still wrong. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time my order has been incorrect in my recent visits. What's this extra order of cold soggy fries I didn't order and where are my two large beverages? I work as a dasher and I am extremely respectful to everyone I come into contact with customer wise and customer-service wise. Now I come here to pick up two of my orders, as I get to the window I let her know kindly I received a second order and she says okay we'll go back through the drive thru it's not done yet, and so I go back through just like she tells me, then I get up to the window again and she VERY RUDELY said "you didn't tell me you were here for the order so I didn't know you were even gonna come back thru so you get to go outside and wait since you didn't want let me know because I didn't even get the food ready." I've worked fast food before and I don't CARE if your having a bad night I've been extremely nice and respectful but this b**h has an extremely messed up attitude and now I'm paying for it with MY job because of her. No complaints about the food. Staff is my concern. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but It seams they are just vastly under trained. It shows they accept Apple Pay. Website shows it is acceptable but the staff took my phone in the back. I'm not sure what they were doing with it. Turns out the don't take it in the drive through but offered me to try inside. No luck there either. This ordeal lasted 20 -30 minutes. Almost my entire lunch break. Staff looks at me like this is my problem and were not apologetic in any way. Horrible feeling To day the least. It only took me 5 minutes of internet real search to see I could place an order in the mobile app. But by the time I could download app, register an account and place an order. It was too late to get my food and make it back to work on time. Asked for no salt on fries for my daughter, came with salt. Asked for no onions on our chilie, came with onions. Asked for honey mustard for both orders of my chicken nuggets even said extra and didn't even get one. We hardly ever get fast food and we thought wendys was the better choice out of our options, we were wrong. We called the manager and all he said was briNg it back and they will redue it. No thanks. Stopped by for a double cheese burger and fries. Service was good, but the food was absolutely disgusting. The burger was litteraly swimming in what tasted like old grease as were the fries. The fountain drink was too sweet with little carbonation. I felt physically ill after just a few bites. If my 3 year old wasn't with me I would have asked for my money back. This particular Wendy's needs to be reviewed by corporate quality control or either retrain the staff or replace them. Period. Save yourself the trouble and go to the new In N Out, the drive time to this wendys from my house is the same as sitting in the drive thru at in n out, or better yet go across the street to Carls Jr or KFC. You would think that since this is the only wendys from windsor to petaluma (since they closed rohnert park, and one in santa rosa) the manager would want to make sure to bring customers in by good customer service and having products available. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. First off, they took a long LONG LONG time to take our order- there was only one person that was waiting for their order, and no one in front of us. I felt like it was 5 minutes before they took our order. When we got the food, they gave us the wrong stuff, (didn't want to tell them they messed up-would probably have to wait half hour to get the correct order). I ordered a regular burger with no chese, my Mom ordered a regular burger with cheese (combo) and my Pa ordered double cheeseburger with cheese. They put cheese on my burger, and my Ma's burger had bacon (she doesnt like bacon so she gave the bacon to my Pa and I to put on our burger. My Pa's burger was fine. All our burgers were cold/warm, our cheese on the burgers weren't even melted, or even close to being melted. I will NEVER come here again. Just went here for dinner, and it was as good as Wendy's gets. The food to me is not the problem. It's getting 3 stars for the crew at the time, because the restaurant was filthy. I go this location frequently and it has never been this bad before. The manager did not seem to care that the instead of heading out to clean up table or empty out trash bins, some workers just stood around. Seemingly lost or in a daze. I love Wendy's and this one is close by my house so it's nice to have a night off from cooking but this week proved me wrong and I NEVER eat there again! It started with me being too tired to make something light for lunch so right after work I go in for a salad that should be healthier than other options...well as I was eating noticed a lovely ladybug IN MY SALAD!
