This can't be a legit Wendy's. It has to be behavioral science field experiment to determine just how long a human being is willing to wait in a drive-through line. No joke - mentally prepare to wait in the line of cars for 30+ minutes. I have never seen anything like it before. Epic fail for Wendy's and also for me to subject myself to it. You have to understand my predicament though - I just couldn't leave since I had waited so long. I just kept saying "it'll only be 4 or 5 more minutes. My father's favorite restaurant, such as it is, and it occasionally is up to fast food par, but this location suffers perennially from the Cape staffing shortage in that the staff always seem to be short handed, in training, or both. I can't quite hold it against them personally, as they generally seem to be earnest and trying to make a living, but the bottom line is you'll end up waiting about three or four times as long as you might expect if you come at any time other than off-season, off-peak. It's especially rankling when the backed-up drive-through lane gets more attention than customers who have walked up in person. C'est la vie, I guess. read more

I'm pissed! Working all day repairing the cape after a tornado and looking for some fast food after hours to make the trip home. I decide to pull into Wendy's for a quick bite with my crew of lineman.they let us into the dining room to eat only to tell us that they're closed and the window is open. I say okay why can't you take our order here and ring it up like we're at the window ? Our truck are too large for the drive through. They insisted that they were unable to take our order. (I was the only person in the drive through) they made me wait and then gave me 3 normal cheeseburgers.. the ingredients were cold. Out and about and wanted a quick salad that wasn't going to break the bank. Cesar salad was fresh and chicken was indeed spicy. Good quality that kept overnight in the fridge, able to finish the salad the next day. Drive thru took a bit of time but staff was pleasant and really can't complain when they get your order correct. So, fast food is what it is. I am not expecting gourmet, by any stretch of the imagination. However, I do expect they at least get one simple order right. My daughter is a vegetarian and wanted a salad. First, every salad comes with MEAT! So we ordered the Southwest salad, please hold the chicken. Instead we get the strawberry salad, with BACON. And she's allergic to strawberries! We didn't realize the mistake until we opened the bag 20 miles away! Seriously, this was an easy order. It's a typical Wendy's. The food is the exact same as you would find at any other in the chain. This restaurant does get a little busy sometimes since it's right off the highway, but overall the food and service isn't bad at all. read more

Ordered a 4 for 4 and asked to replace fries with chicken nuggets. They charged me $12! They sat on their ass while I waited 10 minutes to order. Then I didn't even get half the food I ordered. That's more than any meal on the menu! Never going back here again. These guys suck! Why can't they just get better staff and give us some decent food? read more

Not a good Wendy's. Very slow and do not understand how to take your order at all. It took forever to get our food.

Do not eat here during the night shift. EVER. It's so bad I made a yelp just to warn you. So to start, I ordered a cheeseburger combo with a large drink and large fries with ketchup packets, another medium drink, and 2 regular frostys. Additionally, I order a 6 piece chicken nugget side. However this was excruciating difficult as the cashier barely spoke English. After finally getting the order done, or at least so I thought, I pulled up to the next window to pay. After misquoting the price several times, the cashier finally said the right number and I paid. Then came the last window where everything went wrong. At the cooks window, I was given a bag by another worker who barely spoke English. Inside the bag was a burger and large fry. I asked for the two drinks which they forgot about, and they gave them to me. I then asked for the nuggets, which they forgot about, and got them. Then I asked for the ice cream, and instead of 2 regular ones I got two mini ones before finally being given the ketchup packets for the nuggets. At this point, I was so done, I gave up and went home. At home, I began to eat the food. The drinks didn't have ice in them so I got my own ice to chill then. The fries were so disgusting I threw them away. The nuggets were good thank god. However, instead of a single patty cheeseburger they gave me a double patty bacon burger which was so repulsive I ate about a quarter of it and threw the rest away. The mini ice creams barely lasted a second and as I'm typing this the drinks are still not cold. So please, as your fellow American, believe me when I say DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION at night. Granted fast food during the late hours is a risky business, but just go to McDonald's. Please. read more
