I love me some elephant ears! This is the first time i've seen this place that sold EEs outside of state fair grounds. I wish there was one closer to Seattle! If you've never had an elephant ear - you are in for a diabetic treat :) Its kind of like a churro but flattened out. buttered up and dipped in a mixture of brown and white sugar. They make them right in front of you that's great so they are fresh and they have a few options. Bad... Is that they need a system it got confused there for a min and some lady cut me off and got her ears first... That kinda upset me bad o well... It was a old lady so whatever. read more

Typical carny/fair type station set up, just in a mini strip mall type feel place. Good news is, they ears are always consistent here. The younger gentleman helping us earlier today around 4pm 9.6.15, was so nice, he took the extra step to try and be entertaining whole making the ear and tossing the dough which was a step up from the 18 other times is been here, it was fun and creative. Ears here are reasonably priced and they have sooooooooooo many different different toppings and syrups and what not to add on top of the elephant ear. Seating here is simple yet odd and can get crowded quick. But again service is decent and the sweets here are sweet ! read more

So disappointed in this place. Was looking forward to getting an elephant ear here, every time we come to Seaside. But when we got there there was a "CASH ONLY" sign... really cash only?! When there's covid happening. When we double checked with the worker he said cash only and then recommended us to the ATM and pointed to the ATM.... it's 2020 and we're in a pandemic. Please update your cash payment to CARD. You're not caring for your workers or customers if you're making them use cash transactions. read more

I love the fact that they make it fresh in front of you and it's nice to be able to get one even if it isn't fair season. This place does the 'classic' ear and also ones that include raspberry jam, other berries, chocolate, peanut butter and more. Personally I don't understand how anyone could have one of those since there's already so much sugar and grease! The negative is that they just put it on this thin paper plate, so it isn't very strong for the ear and the ear is bigger than it. For all of that gooey-ness, more would definitely be better! read more

My boyfriend and I were in town for the weekend. I always get an elephant ear when I'm in Seaside. I just love them! But this time, the lady said there was no cash back so I had to go to the stupid ATM right there in the little dinning area to get cash that had a withdrawal fee of 3$. That annoyed me. I got an elephant ear half cinnamon half strawberry. Mine was super good but my boyfriend's on the other hand..... he got half strawberrry half chocolate but the guy who was making his didn't seem to like my boyfriend or something because he made his elephant ear very very sloppy compared to mine. The guy who served us was a white guy and my boyfriend is black... I don't know if it was a race thing but it just was very not cool. He was very sarcastic wsith my boyfriend as well. This is not the same quality as in previous years... it has been going steadily downhill, but today's elephant ear (classic cinnamon and sugar ) was small, very thin, lacking cinnamon and sugar on some parts, and crumbly. Very disappointing. After 30 years coming here, we will not not be back. Complete waste of $5.50. read more

Yum, I was impressed! They had an assortment of jellys/jams and what not to add to the Elephant ear and it was all the same price. We got the classic with some raspberry for a good deal of $4.75 and the server was really friendly too! read more

The elephant ear was great! Giving 1 star for horrible service; I waited at the counter for 5 minutes. I was the only customer. I didn't see an employee. No bell to ring to let them know they had a customer. Asked the lady at the counter next door (different business) if she'd seen anyone and she said they might be taking a break(?!!) The girl finally appeared; pleasant enough but pretty lackadaisical. Dough is hand tossed; the girl didn't wear gloves nor did I see her wash her hands or use sanitizer......Ewwwww! The more I thought about it, the more grossed out I was and wished I'd asked her to either wash her hands or wear gloves. Seating is nice for people watching but FILTHY!!! Floor is disgusting; spills all over, used napkins everywhere, etc. Tables were worse; looks like they are never cleaned! Sticky. Gross. Had to clean them ourselves with water and napkins. I would suggest making sure employee washes their hands or uses sanitizer then get your order to go; just steps away from the beach. Plenty of much cleaner seating out there! read more

Fantastic! I went into a sugar coma. The staff were friendly and nice. Chatted up my family while making the ears.

It was o.k. but most of it crumbled away with no substance. 1/2 fried dough 1/2 cinnamon ashes. Also they don't take cards so you have to use the atm in the arcade if you don't have any cash on hand. For the vegans: I asked and they do in fact use butter and milk but not eggs. Kinda upsetting considering it would be cheaper for them to not have to use extra ingredients. Taco bell's cinnamon twists are vegan and essentially the same thing and cheaper lol. read more

Ordered two elephant ears, one came out normal size and the other one was 50% smaller. They also don't wear gloves when handling the ears after frying. Gross and a rip off. read more

Excellent Elephant Ears and whoever the owner or manage is is doing an excellent job training their staff. We had a young girl working the counter on Sunday April 12th and she was both courteous, professional and took the time to ask where we were from and if we were enjoying our day. She washed her hands before and after handling the cash which I thought was excellent too. We'll be back! read more

Fool me once, never again. You lost me as a customer. $5.75 for a crispy 10" Tortilla want-to-be. You guys used to have good ears. They used to be Doughy & about $2.00 cheaper. If you're reading this, save a dollar and walk 30' around the corner and get a scoop of some real good ice cream. But don't waste your time here for an over priced crunchy ear. read more

Nailbanger Here Again; I would like to have given this a better review ,but that was not possible. First for $5.50 it better be Great right ? But we had the Traditional Buttered Cinnamon Sugar. Not to easy to mess up right ? WRONG. The Ear was missing one major ingredient CINNAMON. We literally could not taste anything on the Ear but Sugar. When we watched the making we noticed that the Topping looked like plain Sugar and thats what it was. Sorry Guys bad news. read more
