I've been looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant and this place did not disappoint. Every dish pictured are my usual go-to dishes. They were all very flavorful. The salt and pepper pork chops were crispy, just the way I like it! Service was wonderful and attentive. The place was also clean. 10/10 would recommend.

The food is good for the area of Burbank and The Valley for the convenience of Chinese Food that's not "Panda Express" or some "Steam Tray" styled place, not that those are bad per se (and we actually do like Panda Express too!) What I like about restaurants like this and Chinese Food is eating "Family Style" where you can order several dishes and share in diverse items among a group. Usually if you order 1 main dish per adult person in the group (i.e., 4 dishes for 4 people) it's pretty safe and if you like leftovers or have heavy eaters, maybe order a different ratio. We ordered Tofu (Mild no spice special order), Noodles Beef Chow Fun), Noodles (Combo Chow Mein), Chicken, Salt and Pepper Pork, Fish fillet and a Combo Meat Dish for 5 people we ordered 6 dishes and Western Wok gives complimentary (Free, i.e., no charge) steamed white rice too. We had leftovers for 2 adult meals (so in other words, we could have fed 7 people instead of 5, easily with the 6 dishes we ordered) The staff is nice. I actually called and was asking how long it took to prepare the food, as I was coming from a great distance about 1 hr away, and the lady told me NOT to order online as sometimes those orders don't get the same immediate attention as just calling in direct on the phone and speaking to them live, an actual human being. :) - - So, the said it takes 15-20 minutes roughly to prepare an order fresh, cooked to order and hot to go. I waited and timed how to pace an order from phone call to pick up and it worked perfectly. Our meal was $100, so the avg cost per person for lunch was $20 and everyone was satisfied and there were leftovers. The only knock I have on this, and I'm used to authentic Cantonese Chinese Cuisine, is the chow mein noodles done crispy was kinda weak, not fresh egg noodles but had some sort of freeze dried noodle stiffness that wasn't great. It was okay and the sauce and protein (shrimp, chicken and beef) Parking was easy and convenient.

Brownie (3/5): standard brownie, nothing special Miso Salmon (4/5): the flavor of the sauce was really good and I liked the way the salmon was cooked. The bento box itself, however, feels like they just threw in whatever "Asian" came to mind. Like why are there 7 minute eggs in this & why is it unseasoned. Also, what exactly was I supposed to do with the wasabi? The edamame/cucumber salad was more on brand but even that was bland. If I went back, I'd probably order this again out of everything I've tried but the portion is PETITE. Overall, I'm not unhappy I got it but primarily because it was free for me. I probably wouldn't pay for this on my own. It's a real kitchen but it still feels like premade lunch boxes to me + for the price, it just doesn't make sense. No more goop for me. I saw the reviews and photos and I knew I just had to stop by. Thankfully I had read the review about parking because it can definitely be confusing. Parking is street parking and a short walk to the restaurant. I did see a lot up ahead when I initially turned in the driveway but the sign looks like it's meant for a different business. I found parking right before Weddington and walked to Bruxie. On my way a shady character started following me and speaking to me and I power walked to the restaurant to get away. As I turned the corner I was greeted by friendly staff. There is someone behind the window to take orders but also someone outside the window able to take orders as well. After looking at the menu I orderd the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries, and also a breakfast burrito with a side of tots (that I planned to eat tomorrow morning). I paid and then waited in the shade of the outdoor seating which has allot of shade and it's a nice area to sit. My food was ready in maybe 15 to 20 minutes and then I walked back to my car as I had to get to my next destination. Unfortunately that shady man was waiting for me and when I rounded the corner he acted like he was ignoring me but then he started following me again!!! I ended up taking advantage of my long legs and I did a long legged power walk back to my car leaving him in the dust. People saw me walking so fast with such long strides and were looking at me like I'm crazy. When I looked back the man was still walking my way staring straight at me but thankfully he can't walk fast to catch up to me. The point of me writing about this is to be careful on this street, keep your eyes on your surroundings and do not get distracted staring at your phone. On my way driving to my destination I started nibbling on the waffle fries and they were so perfect! I don't know how to explain the puffy crunch that comes with them as you bite down. So perfectly crispy yet soft! I then decided to try the tots and they are perfection too! The perfect amount of spice that gives a hint of spicy but it's not overwhelming. I wasn't planning to eat both the fries and the tots but before you know it I arrived at my destination and both were in my belly! I then ate the Nashville chicken sandwich, absolutely delicious and generous portion, I love the taste again spicy but not overwhelming, it was perfect. My only wish is that the chicken could have been a thicker piece of chicken but it was a thin long piece. Other than that it definitely hit the spot. I am looking forward to eating my breakfast burrito tomorrow morning!

Better yet, if she ever tried Lou's, she'd never have the gall to post nonsense like that. If you haven't had it, don't review it. Simple as that. As for ALL of the items at Lou's "Oh, aimé-je" it does NOT get any better. The croissants are hands down the best in America. The sandwiches (all of them): finger-licking good. The éclairs are the most delectable in town, as are the other pastries. And with ALL of that, somehow the best thing is still the customer service. I have yet to walk in there without seeing Lou personally chatting it up with customers, the man is everywhere. On sunny and rainy days he's passing out umbrellas, and on Mother's Day he's handing out wonderful gifts for all the ladies. The staff take their lead from him and are every bit as splendid. My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds.
