This is a great neighborhood spot with lots of great beer choices. You have many pizza options.. a slice, small, medium, large. I ordered a slice of the Ultimate and it was delicious from the crust to the toppings! All of the toppings were fresh and of excellent quality. The Greek salad was just Ok, I've had better. Plus they don't include onions, which I've always had on a Greek salad. I took a grilled chicken salad to go and it was good. If you're in the area this a great spot to try. A bit pricey, but friendly service and overall good pizza. read more

We have loved Westside for years! Pizza is great. My kids love the chicken fingers and fries. The zucchini fries are epic! Although getting to-go during COVID. It doesn't mean that the person taking order doesn't give sound advise. Very disturbed by the fact they charged $15 for a calzone with chicken, cheese, garlic. The other calzone (buffalo chicken with jalapeño and olives) was less than $10 and more stuff in it. How come? The taste was decent and size was big as well. read more

I'm extremely disappointed. I used to frequent this place for lunch about 10 years ago and always had a good/pleasant experience. Today I was in the neighborhood for lunch with a coworker and went back with a for the first time in forever. I felt unwelcome the minute we walked in. No greeting from the bartender or the server. When she came to our table she didn't bring menus, I had to request them. When she brought the drinks she didn't bring straws, I had to get them. When it was time to close out, my coworker had to ask for a to go box twice. We had to ask for two checks, but I over heard her asking the neighboring booth if they would like split checks.... another review mentioned the poor service had racial undertones and I would have to agree. There are some White reviewers that experienced poor service as well, so there's that... Used to be a nice spot. I won't be back. Smh read more

I used to love this place... and it pains me to write this. The list several experiences I've had here have been abysmal... poor service each time and marginal food. Despite the restaurant being fairly empty, the waiter was inattentive and seemed bothered to wait on tables. Wife and I walked in here and the guy basically told us to move out the way as rude as he could. Didn't say anything about that and complied. When we went to order, he said something and my wife asked to clarify and he told her - isn't that what I said in the most vicious tone. Seriously? I mean it was on a Sunday and they weren't even that busy. Can't help feel that there was a racist undertone to it all. Pretty cool dive bar, with pretty decent food. The salads are fairly large with substantial chicken tenders. I really enjoyed the hot lemon pepper wings because they were meaty, well flavored and perfectly fried. The pizza is thin crust NY style pies, with fresh veggie toppings. The pizza was bottom of the barrel, rudimentary, novice with terrible ingredients. The crust seemed like it came out of a package, you could taste the cheese was very poor quality and the sauce was a processed nasty paste. You know, it's not that hard to have good ingredients and make a pizza properly with all the money that has been invested in opening a restaurant and I feel they dropped the ball and went economy on the pizza quality. I can't imagine being an owner of a restaurant and dropping well over $100,000 to have an operating establishment and then cut back on pizza ingredients to save a dollar. Very meh. I'm not sure why all the hype. We decided to stay in on a Saturday night and get a pizza. When we tried to place our order via phone the connection wouldn't go through (and we tried multiple phones). Anyhoo, based on some friend's recommendations we decided to drive there to place our order (since they don't do delivery we would have needed to go there to pick it up even if there phones were working). The place was crazy and they seemed short staffed. When we mentioned to the bartender that the phone wouldn't go through he said they took their phones off the hook because it was too busy. mmmmmmK. He took our order, made fun of my friend for a question she asked, and poured the beers we ordered to drink while we waited. While we waited the manager/owner arrived and seemed concerned - who knows maybe he had tried phoning as well? He also asked why they were putting so little cheese on the pizzas, to which the bartender told him they didn't have time to put more on the pizzas. mmmmmmK. Our pizza was ready pretty quickly but was pretty pathetic. The flavor was just off. We would have been better off with grabbing a digiorno at the publix across the street and baking it in the oven. Would have saved us time, money, and the bartender's attitude. Also would have been 1000% more delicious. read more

This is a very hard review to write because the food was actually good. I had the fish and chips. My lunch partner had the lasagna. The dishes were amazing. However, the service was horrible. The male waiter seemed to be bothered because he had our table, although the restaurant was empty. While I enjoyed the food, I will not return until the service improves. read more

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews and I had low expectations for Westside based on appearances. From the outside spot looks run down and uninviting, sharing a parking lot with a car wash and batting cage. However, I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit. I live a mile away so I had to check Westside pizza out and rep my hood. I have to agree with another Yelper, this spot earned 4 stars because the food was decent, it's not crowded, there is a large patio, and they have a good selection of craft beer. First, I'll have to admit I'm jaded when it comes to food. I basically have 3 opinions: it sucked, it was decent, or it was amazing. Decent pizza for me might be mind blowing for someone else so take the comment with a grain of salt. The pizza is thin crust and they have a unique selection so you won't be stuck ordering pepperoni, cheese, or Hawaiian. I had a spicy Cajun pizza with andouille sausage. The pizza sizes start at 10" if you come after 5, before then you can do slices. I don't know about you but sometimes I do not want to fight the Friday and Saturday evening lines that are commonplace at any decent restaurant in town. If you are looking for a no wait spot with a full bar and decent food then keep this in your rotation. It is not quite a dive but it borders on the edge. Also, I felt like the servers like you if you are ordering drinks constantly but want you to gtfo as soon as you're done and it's thinly hidden. The patio is nice if you have a dog. It is large and they are dog tolerant. Outdoor seating is much larger than indoors and partially covered. I would suggest not sitting by the road if you plan on having a conversation because there is a lot of traffic and it can be noisy. Lastly, I was most surprised by their selection of craft beer. From Terrapin to Orpheus to Wicked Weed. They have a great selection of draft and bottle which enforces that this a great spot to go when you don't want to fight lines and spend a bunch of money or just want to chill with your dog on a patio with a good beer. read more

My son was TDY in ATL not far from this place. We had lunch there the entire week. The service, food, and drinks were great. Some of the menu items I tried were the build your own pizza slice (nice crispy crust! ), fire sticks, salad, and the gyros sandwich with fries. I don't know what they season the fries with, but they were bursting with flavor. The owner greets everyone that walks in with a smile. Great experience at a great place! Ok, so I kind of cheated going here for my first time. I went with a friend that is a regular, so we were welcomed by everyone at the bar and the service was attentive. They have great beer selections on draught so I was automatically a fan. We ordered a large pizza with "the works"...it came out hot and fully cooked. The crust is on the thinner side and the veggie toppings are diced and the meat toppings are more then likely cooked in the AM and then stored for use throughout the day...The pizza was tasty, nothing amazing, but far from the crappy reviews that others have left. It's cooked in one of those conveyor oven things, not in a brick oven....so if you really like that style pizza, then don't eat the pizza...eat something else. As for the other food, its standard bar food/Italian food. No one got sick and everyone cleaned their plates that came in, so really the place can't be THAT bad. I would go back again, if I was in the area, but its 40 minutes from my place, so I don't see myself making the drive if I was just in the mood for pizza one evening. read more

As it is walking distance from our house, we used to go to Westside frequently for their beer and wings (pizza isn't great) but since they've gouged their prices ($36 for 20 wings?!) we have found other options. While this used to be a fairly reliable place to eat, now that they've moved to the new location the food has gone from average to well below average. It seems like they've given up on fresh made food. Their pizza crust has little tooth and an unpleasant texture, like it's been overworked. The gyro, which just recently reappeared on their menu, tasted like it had been frozen. Who melts cheese on a gyro, BTW? Their wings were OK, but it's hard to mess up frozen wings.
