Examples are Hornstra Farms in Norwell, Peaceful Meadows (now Hornstra), Bella's in Weymouth and more. However, this does not keep me from visiting this establishment! The ice cream at Dairy Queen is still good. We like this Dairy Queen because it's close to where we live and the fact is that when it opens, it's signifies the start of all the welcome warm weather. This is especially important when we've had a rough, cold, dreary, snowy winter season therefore the opening of Dairy Queen for the season is a right of passage in our household. One of my favorite treats at Dairy Queen is the peanut butter parfait, which has vanilla soft serve topped with hot fudge, whipped cream and crunchy peanuts. I always add the liquid peanut butter to it as well. One cannot have too much peanut butter after all! Also quite delicious are the root beer floats. My daughter and I like to sneak away and pick up some of these root beer floats. Obviously we don't have to sneak lol

I did not know I could pay for the chocolates at the ice cream register but was told by the associate that either register (chocolate or ice cream) can accept payment for anything in the shop. If you're sitting at a table while waiting, they sometimes even bring it out to you. Good amount of seating inside, good amount of parking outside since it's in a plaza, and staff are friendly. As long as I live near the area, I'll keep coming back for açai bowls and maybe even venture to try some of their other options.
