It immediately made me question what else is happening behind the scenes. The restaurant itself feels like it's been neglected for years. The dining room looks worn out, the atmosphere is depressing, and even the servers looked like they didn't want to be there. Nobody smiled, nobody seemed engaged, and the whole place had an overwhelming feeling that everyone had simply given up. It's honestly sad to see what has happened to Friendly's. It used to be a place families looked forward to visiting. Now it feels like a shell of what it once was. The food quality, cleanliness, and overall experience have fallen so far that I cannot recommend anyone spend their money here. Management needs to completely overhaul this location because in its current condition it is embarrassing. If this is the standard being accepted, then perhaps it's time to close the doors. We love to see it. There were many many times, even a year or two ago, when it was literally just us inside. Now there's multiple tables full! We heard they started doing ice cream flights so we had to see what that was all about. Our friend got the cookie dough ice cream, black raspberry, and the cotton candy flavor. Tip: don't decide to start telling a story when the flights arrive. She was so busy yapping that by the time she got to the cookie dough (her third cone) it was pretty melted and messy. The ice cream at Dairy Queen is still good. We like this Dairy Queen because it's close to where we live and the fact is that when it opens, it's signifies the start of all the welcome warm weather. This is especially important when we've had a rough, cold, dreary, snowy winter season therefore the opening of Dairy Queen for the season is a right of passage in our household. One of my favorite treats at Dairy Queen is the peanut butter parfait, which has vanilla soft serve topped with hot fudge, whipped cream and crunchy peanuts. I chose graham crackers and the marshmallow chocolates like the smores blizzard. And one of the workers was trying to deny my service about that. Like honey I know I work at an ice cream shop too and with ANY allergy I would've wiped down that machine. I think this location has to be more inclusive.

Dessert was your typical store bought cheap cheesecake, You'd expect if it came with chocolate (aka Hersheys syrup) and chocolate cookie crumbles that it would have a chocolate crust. Nope.
