Average Vietnamese food. Sister store of Bistro B. We usually buy their young coconut with gelatin inside. Not the best, but for the location and price, it's not bad. They don't replace their stock often (typical for Asians always trying to get rid of their stock no matter how old it is-a pet peeve of mine) or put expiration dates on these coconuts, so it's a hit or miss if some of the interior is going bad. I ate here last week before I went into work. The restaurant is located inside of a super market in the food court. The place it self is very clean and modern looking. I ordered the beef combination pho and it was phenomenal! The bowls were huge and the serving I received was well worth the price. Probably not the best vermicelli I have ever had, but the grilled pork was flavorful. Fast Vietnamese food in the 99 Ranch Market. The prices are low compared to the amount of food served. My grilled pork vermicelli with egg rolls was a huge plate with three egg rolls. They offered a BOGO with Hubby's grilled pork bahn mi. My lychee smoothie came in a cup the size of a small pail. There is an extra $0.50 for bubbles in the smoothie. Needless to say we could have fed 4 people easily for about $16. Quick, cheap, and will fill you up. Just don't expect too high of a quality. I strongly dislike this place, ordered a rice plate and received it and turned out I was deceived. In the picture I used to order food it shows an egg in the picture but when you get the plate they don't have an egg and you have to pay extra. Scamming/false advertisement at its finest. I have ordered from this place on Uber Eats, twice in the past month. I was surprised to see the average Yelp rating of less than 4 stars. I may not be an expert on Pho, but I think they do a damn good job on it! I used to live in Southern California, where there were tons of great Vietnamese restaurants that served great Pho. It took me a long time since living in Dallas, to find anyplace that I really liked. First of all, I have never been INSIDE this restaurant. I've only ordered take-out. The take-out experience is what I am reviewing, and it has been perfect. The portions are huge and nicely packaged, which is a plus. I have had the spicy beef pho, the chicken and this last time I ordered tofu and veggie pho. I also got an order of steamed dumplings. I think there were 10 in the box, for less than $6! A deal. The pho was only $7 I think, as well - a bargain, in my book. Usually when you order delivery, it is far from perfect. I give this place 5 solid stars all the way, and highly recommend it! read more

Full disclosure... I've only tried the egg rolls here. It's 4 for $1 so I shouldn't complain too much because it's super cheap. The taste is pretty good but they are always so oily! I read that this place is owned by the same people as Bistro B but these egg rolls don't taste the same as the Arlington Bistro B location. Service was fast but took some time for them to bus a table for us. Crab Rangoons were just meh. Oxtail Pho was overly cinnamon-y to my palette and more fatty than I'm used to as well as served only like warm. I ordered a hot tea that also came only Luke warm. We got the lemongrass beef/rice combo but one of the roll things it is served with was still frozen inside. Not impressed. Maybe the Bahn Mi are better...? read more

I had the special combination beef with ox tail and my friends had the seafood pho, bun bo hue, & hot garlic whole fried wings. Everything was pretty decent. The portion size are huge (only one bowl size) -so come with an appetite! They also serve Bobo Tea & Vietnamese po-boys for $4. Food: 4 stars. Don't ever get a rice plate with meat cause it is always dry and chewy. But the shredded pork (bì) and egg pork cake (ch) are tasty. Fish sauce is a little salty. Recommend getting all kind of soup: Pho, Bun Bo Hue and Tom Yum Seafood. And don't expect Appetizer come first. Banh mi is BOGO and pretty cheap. Beverage and desert: 2.5 stars. I always ask for half sweet and still super sweet. They got a new people working on beverages side so that's why. Make sure check all the deserts or beverages bottle such as coffee, sometimes they are spoiled. Atmosphere: 3 stars. The area is small and always sticky. Too much disco lights which are really annoying. But it's inside the market so we couldn't ask like an actual restaurant. Service: 3 stars.They barely speak English, and most people working here are old people. Serve yourself the most. Order in the counter and make sure before you pay, check your order. My tips: Don't ever drink the water in the bottle that they give to you for dine in. It's disgusting. There is a hot and cold machine water, get water there. Not a bad pho place by any means, big portions, good prices, pretty good tastes. The Bun Bo Hue tasted like there's alot of MSG and salt in it, the beef pho probably has less of it. Both bowls had hefty portions of meat in it, although I can tell it's not the best cut as they ain't exactly tender. The pork chop over rice can use some more pork chop. The service is okay, it's convenient after you do your grocery shopping at 99 ranch. I am very disappointed! I am a frequent Patron of this place and while deciding what to eat today I thought I watch the lady behind the glass fixing the sandwiches. At first I thought I will try this sandwich she's preparing until I saw her drop a shrimp on the floor and then pick it up and put it in with the rest of the food to continue on fixing the sandwiches! I looked at her through the glass and asked "did you really just pick the shrimp up off the floor and put it in with the rest of the food?!" The banh xeo here is really good! The pho is okay.. I've had better. They have pressed juices which are tasty and refreshing (also they're buy 2 get 1 free). You get more bang for your buck because the sizes of the plates/bowls are big! We shared 4 entrees between 6 people. read more

Had the grilled pork sandwich. Currently they are doing a buy one get one free on sandwiches (which I assume is for the grand openinig). Sandwich is about 8'' long the meat and vegetables took up about 7'' on the inside which seems pretty typical for subs. The pork was tender slices, no grizzle on any of mine, sauce was a kinda sweet. Vegetables consisted of julienne carrots, cilantro on the stem, cucumber slices (long way), and jalapeno slices (long way). Was not hot, but I don't think it is meant to be hot (which is ok for me cause I like most of my food warm). The bread is white and pretty sure it is fresh made no preservative cause it was hard the next day after being in the fridge. Still good though. They have a big things of eggrolls that I think are a pork eggroll for 25 cents each. I got 4, 2 for me 2 for my friend. Both of thought they were pretty good. Not my favorite ever, but I would definitely go back just for eggrolls. There is no website as of right now so to get an idea of what they have you will need to check out the Bistro B website as they are owned by same people or go in person. Service was pretty quick. My friend got his within 2-3 minutes and I probably got mine in about 5 min. From some of the other reviews it looks like people got real upset that their food wasn't instant, but I don't have my panties in a bunch. 4 stars for now as I want to try more things and see what kind of consistency they have. Depending on how it goes could tip it to 5, 3, or stay at 4. Edit: Visit 2 happened. Got Pho with rare steak and meat ball. Broth was good, had plenty of meat (I think I counted around 8-10 slices of beef and 6-8 meatballs), plenty of green onion/cilantro, and not over saturated with noodles. An observation since it seems to be a major thing across most of the reviews is it took about 5 minutes to come out. If I had to guess, Bistro B is using this location to make catering sandwiches which is why ordered sandwiches take longer than anything else on the menu. Which seems reasonable to me, but I'm a very easy going person. Next week I'll be going again for a final update and a chance to up it to 5 stars. Edit: I've been a few more times since Visit 2 and I gotta say I really like this place. The only additional comment I need to make for people to see is that the sandwiches can be cold OR toasted. So those reviews complaining about cold sandwiches didn't listen when they asked to be toasted or not. read more

When we came in half the tables inside were full of dirty dishes from previous eaters. After a while we were given the wrong dish we didn't order, no big deal. When we came back from the place, one of us got food poisoning, this is the big deal. Both of us got sick half way through our meal due to the lingering odor of eaten food from the leftover dishes. This place appears as a modern more English speaking friendly kiosk of food inside the Asian market compared to its counterparts right beside it. With a long window showing you the ingredients being spread onto and put inside their Banh Mi, it was just enough to to entice me to get something to eat. They were having a buy one get one free deal on the Banh Mi so I ordered a Banh Mi Nem Nuong (pork patty) and a Milk Tea with boba because I like trying milk tea at different places and seeing the differences. The milk tea came out in one of those stout and fat cup so they won't fit in a cup holder. I would say about 50% of the cup was filled with small crushed ice and at the regular price of a boba drink, what a rip off. I finished the cup quickly and realized most of the tapioca balls didn't even get sucked up bc all of the crushed ice had kept it from sinking to the bottom and going up into my straw. Next I ate the Banh Mi, the bread was a bit dry and not chewy nor was it crunchy. (Yes I understand some places only toast it if you're eating it on the spot but the cashier didn't even ask me if I wanted it toasted or if it was to go or for here) A very disappointing sandwich because the Nem Nuong ended up looking like and tasting like Cha Lua (pork roll). Nem Nuong is usually a pinkish red while this meat was white with a tan exterior. False advertisement!! Oh and I noticed multiple times where the workers will punch in the ticket number then just leave the bag of food on the stand and walk away, I see a potential in people stealing or getting free food. read more

We were there on Sunday, sorry to say their pho and chicken roti was nasty. My husband got sick the next day. I wouldn't recommend it. The only thing that I like from there are desserts.
