The inside is kind of scuffed, but I'm giving this place five stars for the food and because the sweetest staff work here

ONIONS! I guess they can't read. Also no Ketchup.

Sad that this location is constanlty messing up my orders. Ordered a burger with no onions and apprearantly these people can't read because there was onions on it. I also did not get any ketchup, and it clearly states on the receipt three of them. I've been to this location before and they have left out apple pies. I will no longer visit this location as they obviously do not care about customer service.

Went here with my daughter the other day when we were craving a burger. Service was great, the young lady taking our order was very nice and friendly. Our food came out fast and fresh. I got a double whataburger and an avocado burger. Both were really good and large. The onion rings and fries were fresh but I wasn't a big fan of the chicken. It was dry but it was good soaked in gravy. The restaurant was clean and it was busy so we sat in a booth and our food was brought to us with a smile. When we're in Albuquerque we'll sometimes order food from whataburger to take home for later. Everything and everyone was great on this day. We'll be back soon. Two thumbs up from me!

I recently had the chance to revisit Whataburger in Albuquerque, and it did not disappoint. The four of us picked up food to bring back to our hotel, and I have to say, we were all pretty pleased with what we got. I was especially excited because it had been a long time since I'd had anything from Whataburger. I ordered the Green Chili Double Burger, and it was exactly what I was hoping for--packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick. My buddy got the Whataburger Patty Melt and raved about how good it was. The fries and onion rings were decent--nothing mind-blowing, but solid. The real standout, according to my friend, was the Dr Pepper milkshake (or freeze, depending on where you're from). He said it was absolutely fabulous. I didn't go to the restaurant myself, so I can't comment on the cleanliness or the friendliness of the staff, but the food we brought back to the hotel was satisfying enough that we were all happy with it. If you're in the area and craving Whataburger, I'd say it's worth the stop. And I forgot to take pictures of before we started so we only have this one half eaten picture of a patty melt

My brother and I are here for the weekend. This was my first time trying Whataburger. I got the jalapeno blaze burger meal with fries and a lemonade. My brother got the double cheeseburger and a whataburger chicken sandwich. We both thought the buns on the burger were dry. It was pretty mediocre if I'm being honest. They had good sauce for my fries. The guy at the window was super friendly. But whenever I'm back in town I don't think I would visit again.

Service is quick but the place is not that clean. Not really soda drinker and they have none of the teas brewed. I had hoped for sweet tea Staff actually asked a customer to hurry as their food was ready. When asked about brewed ice tea she stated we are not making any today, why? One of the things should be having ice tea very cheap to make. Let's hope the food is good Worker has started banging on the restroom door!! What a joke this place is! Recommend go somewhere else

My friend and I embarked on a green chile cheeseburger tour this past week. Our mission was to find the best green chile cheeseburger in the great state of New Mexico. We went to 11 different places and here are the results. Whataburger ranked #5 out of 11. Even though I have had it a million times before (Green Chile Double is my usual order at Whataburger in Arizona where I live), we included Whataburger in our list. We went with a Green Chile Double. Here is how it was.............. Green Chile Double- Whataburger is simple and to the point. 2 freshly cooked, made to order, patties. 2 slices of cheese, and some green chiles. Simple and delicious! Great buttered/toasted bun, freshly cooked beef, melted cheese and a nice amount of green chiles make this a winner in my book. It so simple, yet so good. It was also way better than some of the "fancier" places we hit along our trip. Can't go wrong with a Green Chile Double!

Stop here on my way through to Texas. Ordered the mushroom burger and added green Chili's . The burger was really good and cooked perfect and hot every flavor I was looking for and would give it a 4.5 out of 5. The fries however were cold, and the the chocolate malt was like chocolate milk and completely melted which made the rest of the meal not so great. At least I got a ice tea to have something to drink with the burger as a back up.

Good fast food. They are featuring a Hatch Green Chile Bacon cheeseburger right now, so that had to be sampled. Ordered onion rings to accompany my burger and my daughter got a chicken combo of some sort with fries. Both combo meals were fresh and tasty. Only the drive thru is open and it moves decently. They had vehicles pull into two lanes after placing their order. They were gloves and masks and work to take care of business.

Waited tonight for literally 45 minutes (8:11-8:55) for my APP Order. I never got my order as I waited in lobby being reassured every few minutes that my order was coming. My name was repeated several times but orders were being taken and even brought out slowly. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting, I asked for a refund. Even that took several minutes for the "Lead" to come and tell me they didn't have enough cooks and that my order was made but "probably " given out to someone else. Unfortunately, this is a very regular occurrence.

So I got into Albuquerque early, and wanted lunch even though it was a little before 11am (having come from the east cost). This place inside the 505 food hall was recommended to me by Mia, the local Albuquerque community manager. I got there about 10:55, they open at 11, and knew what I wanted to eat about two minutes prior to that. I approached the counter... and well... was told not to for two more minutes, pretty curtly. OK fine, i can respect that, and the fact your day must not be off to a good start. So I come back at 11:01 and place my order for the El Burqueno burger with fries. That's a double smash cheeseburger with fried onions, green chiles, and a garlic ailoi on a grilled buttered bun. I grab a seat nearby to wait, and can see a commotion forming around the kitchen. Apparently, their frier would not turn on, so basically fries were taken to another restaurant in the food hall, brought back, and served to me. Which made things take a little longer, but was more a point of craziness for the staff than me. Neither the fries, or the burger suffered at all. In fact, the burger was one of the most on-point smashburgers I have had in recent memory. A wonderful brown crust on both smashed patties, and skirted with lots of melty cheese. The bun definitely had a rich buttery flavor, and it all came together nicely. So, mild curtness and foibles aside, this was a great stop, and I would recommend it to others seeking a smashburger adorned with chiles.

My husband had eggs, sausage, hash browns, and toast with an orange juice. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The eggs were just right, the hash browns had a nice crisp to them, and the portions were filling without being over the top. My iced coffee was also a great addition to breakfast. Frontier is such a classic Albuquerque spot with a casual, no-frills atmosphere and really good comfort food. We both really enjoyed our breakfast and would definitely come back!

Te gusta! TBH, NM's…read morefood scene was underwhelming during my time there, and it was pretty disappointing to get food from the hearth that was more mediocre than the stuff we get on the East Coast. We ate from the border crossing past El Paso all the way to Taos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque. And I'm sure we missed a ton of great places, but that being said, the places we did try... yikes! We rolled the dice on this place. At first I was like, "Great, another place that is going to give us a premade tortilla and some bland combination of stuff in the tortilla..." Now look... this is not a Michelin-starred place, nor is it Michelin-recommended. It's not going to be a spiritual experience. It's not going to make you think differently about a taco, an enchilada, or anything else on their massive menu. But this place has heart, soul, and there's a lot of hustle. The tortillas are made fresh, right there behind the counter (i.e., you can literally watch them crank them out), and that makes a ton of difference. The food is honest, without pretense: fast and affordable. The ambiance is equally without pretense -- college kids, working-class folks, families, academics... The food was simple, spartan, and honest. No frills. Not extraordinary, but above average for the context. There is an ASTOUNDING amount of variety on the menu, and the combinations are infinite. I very much enjoyed my meal, I very much enjoyed the people-watching, and I very much enjoyed the experience. This was perhaps the best meal I had in New Mexico -- the cheapest, and the most memorable. If this place was a beer, it would be one of those local lager/pilsners that is as cheap as a Pabst/Coors/Miller but punches up way past the pretentious IPA scene. Thanks Frontier.

OK, I have to think my Yelp family for finding the absolute best breakfast burritos, and all of…read moreAlbuquerque!!! They are conveniently located an easy to get to. We were staying in a motel down the street and got up the next morning and backtracked to come visit and get some burritos after looking on yelp and hearing how great they were. So I was prepared for it to look like a house and maybe to have a problem parking, but there was NO problem parking in fact I was able to park right out front on the street. There is actually a parking lot across the street too, so I don't see what the issue would be parking here. We intended on ordering a few breakfast burritos and take them along with us for the road, but it smelled so good in here and the music was great as well as the company, so we decided to at least sit down and taste our burritos before heading on our way. Turns out it was too hard for my husband to stop so he finished his and ordered another to go for later. Everything is hot and fresh. The eggs are cracked and cooked right after you order they have more than just breakfast burritos here and I imagine everything would be just as great. We definitely know where to go when we come back to town. If you are looking for a nice hot breakfast with some very friendly people this is your place. The owners are so friendly and I didn't even mention how reasonably priced they are. This is something that you usually don't see. I see that they are close to the courthouse. I would imagine serving jury duty here would be awesome! I would be coming here every day and trying everything on the menu at lunch. If you are anywhere nearby or even if you're just driving through town on route 66 take a detour and come find them it will be well worth it!
