Miguel, who was friendly and helpful, took our order and made a recommendation to try the recently returned Monterey burger (I always get the same thing- #4 combo- Jalapeno cheese burger combo regardless of the location I visit). Our order was brought to the table with condiments by another employee but I did not get her name. Everything was hot and fresh!! Miguel checked with our table twice to make sure everything was good and see if we needed any additional condiments. He walked the entire dining room checking with the other customers as well. Manager Miguel (as I remember), listened to my complaint and immediately assisted me in a 100% positive manner. We got Whataburger to go since there is a new location down the street from our house. The service was less than to be desired. We asked for extra ketchup and between telling the woman at the window and watching her turn around to grab some more, she forgot what we asked for and had to re-ask us. It got the grilled chicken sandwich, sub Texas toast and it was puny and the underside of the sandwich in my photo was under-done. Everything was cold. However, the iced coffee (plain with cream) was decent. We will probably stick to other fast food options in our area and stay clear of here for a long while until they have their service and store figured out. read more

We were so excited when this location opened since it's so close to our home. After several visits, the food remains consistently good, but unfortunately, the service has not improved--particularly with one staff member, Erika. The fast food industry relies heavily on customer service. If you don't enjoy working with people, it may not be the right fit. And if you're in the role, professionalism is a must. Don't attempt the drive thru unless you have 30 mins to spare. With only 2 cars ahead of me, waited 20+ mins just to get to the window. 2 lanes doesn't matter. It doesn't help them go any faster. Management needs to step up and manage. Brand new location and never busy. Wonder why.... Update: they didn't even get my order right. First off they have 2 drive through lanes but only 1 open. Whoever is operating the headset can't even begin to comprehend my order and had to ask multiple times about each item I ordered. Once arriving to the window I was told a different total then what was repeated back to me at the menu board, that's because they were going to give me someone else's food. I reminded them my name, because they asked when I ordered. Finally after waiting for 8-9 minutes at the window my food was ready. I was assured condiments and napkins were in the bag. I was very scared I hate bugs and I wasn't even offered a free meal or a refund on my order. They told me "Better luck next time!". Will have to try it another time. They need more training. Realized my order was wrong when I got home. Tried my fries. They were reheated. Tasted like they were made yesterday and then refried. Only way to describe it was if you put the fries in the refrigerator and then microwaved it. That was the texture. Not fries that were freshly made. Took a very long time and food was not good. Came here and wanted to order a medium fry and they said they are out of medium containers. I asked if they could put the amount that comes in a medium fry into a large container and they told me they were unable to do that. The woman who was apparently a manager told me to leave. She also would not provide her name and then apparently passed the microphone to someone else and said her name was Kya. This was our first time trying Whataburger and she was very informative of the menu, shared with us the top picks and offered us additional items we would not have normally ordered. The young lady at the counter appeared somewhat inconvenienced by my presence as I waited for an extended period of five minutes with no other customers approaching the counter. Subsequently, it took over 20 minutes for my order to be prepared, prompting me to inquire about the status of my order at the counter, whereupon I discovered that it had been sitting in the back for some time. Upon finally receiving my order, I noted that the ketchup was not included, necessitating an additional trip to the counter to request it. As I sat down to enjoy my meal, which consisted of a cold burger and fries, one of your employees entered the establishment and began engaging in a conversation with the crew, regaling them with anecdotes about a coworker's purportedly dramatic behavior from the previous night. This discussion, which involved a back-and-forth exchange about the difficulties of working with this individual, was not the kind of conversation that customers typically wish to overhear. In my over 35 years of patronizing Whataburger, this particular location provided the worst experience I have encountered. Furthermore, I was surprised to discover that ice was also unavailable, a deficiency that seemed particularly egregious given the prevailing heat. Who, indeed, does not have ice available in such weather conditions? Interestingly, that employee received their food in about 5 minutes. The place was quiet until the employee that was off work came in and then everyone was at the front counter. The restaurant is not fast, took 15 minutes waiting at drive thru and no sorry took so long when finally came to window; may be reason open 24 hours is length of time to get order. Then to make matters worse they locked the serve window between payment and service and could not open. So excited for new restaurant but now see not going to be good service so probably not going back. At least until reviews say they are better. read more
