I cannot even remember the last time I've been to a Jersey Mike's. Hubby wanted a cheesesteak sandwich so we decided to order from this location to see how they compare to other sub stores. We ordered #17- Mike's Famous Philly: grilled onions, peppers, and white American cheese. Regular size costs $10.45 and giant size is $18.45. We ordered the giant to share. Their menu also lists the calories which is kinda cool. This cheesesteak was humongous!! I could only eat about a half of my half. Hubby was very satisfied with his half. It was very fresh, delicious, and satisfying. There was a ton of steak in this sandwich with the perfect ratio of onions, peppers and cheese. It was a pretty impressive sub! I'll definitely be back here when hubby has another craving for a cheesesteak sandwich lol. read more

I've been on a cheesesteak binge lately. Since I've never tried Jersey Mike's, decided to order from here to see how they compare to other sub shops. I ordered their giant cheesesteak with mushrooms $18.45. I ordered online and it was ready when I arrived to pick it up. The store was clean and staff were nice. This sub was huge!! This was my first time at this Jersey Mike's location and will be my last. The location that I usually go to is off of Arizona Ave, it's always busy. This location when I arrived it was empty that should have been a wake up call... empty at 4:30? The bread was not fresh, the meats were rubbery and vegetables were not crisp. It was at the level of going to the grocery store and grabbing a premade sandwich that you know was sitting there for a couple of days. The two young men working there were friendly but not well knowledgeable on sandwich making or how to wrap the subs. My sub had three papers wrapped awkwardly around it. Absolutely awful service. Been coming here for a while and every single time, the workers show a lazy and entitled attitude: They don't toast your bread, they make the wrong sandwiches multiple times, and then they have an attitude when you ask for your food to be made the way you asked. I expect quality service for a $17-18 sandwich. Management needs to seriously kick these kids to the curb before this store goes under from lack of traffic, these workers are some of the most pisspoor workers I've ever seen. read more

Love this place and location. They are just north of a busy shopping center on the other side of the freeway. It's never crowded and they have two tables outdoors with a nice view of the tree lined lot with nice landscaping. A great place to enjoy a meal outdoors. The place is clean, food is delicious, fresh, prepared quickly and service is great. I placed my order and went to ladies room. When I came back they were waiting for me to finish preparing the sandwich. I forgot to tell them if i wanted it Mike's Way or not. I appreciated that they were thoughtful because I am not a fan of vinegar but I love they they add oregano to the sandwich. The beverage station was fully stocked and everything was organized nicely. I also like they they have a big assortment of chips. I tried the veggie this time. They are my new favorite. If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend. Looking at my Shore Points history (their reward program), I eat there almost weekly. It all started with the exceptional customer service I received on my first visit. The staff was great at explaining the options and what "Mike's Way" is. They were so much fun, I was smiling from the moment I was greeted. I was at this location yesterday at lunch time. There were two fine young men hard at work. They were busy taking online orders along with the walk in lunch crowd. It was obvious to me that they show of had at least one more person working at the location during this time. However, these two fine young men worked hard at the uphill battle presented to them. Hands-down the best sub place around! About as close as you can get to the original Jersey Mike's place down the shore in good ol' Jersey. Order #13, the Original Italian, for an amazing experience! Make it a combo with a soda and chips and you ha e the perfect meal! On a diet? Skip the bread and they will make your sub into s delicious salad! While I was eating my turkey sandwich I bit into something really hard, causing me to spit out my food. Searching through my chewed up sandwich I found a piece of glass. The manager, Robert McGuire, was contacted and confirmed that they had broken something in the store, and they had attempted to clean up all the broken pieces of glass, but obviously not good enough. Went to get a to go order tonight and when my wife got there she had to wait to make the sandwich's. We are trying this location again after our last 2 times have been horrible. So when they got the sandwiches finished she was told that they were out of lettuce and onion, mind you this is 800 pm at night and they close at 10 pm, we ordered Mikes way with extra onions and extra oil and vinegar, no lettuce and no onion and they did not put oil or vinegar on the sandwiches. So paying 24 dollars for our order you would think we would get 24 dollars worth of sandwich but no it was HORRIBLE and bland. Last chance and you guys blew it. NEVER AGAIN we are done. read more

A solid sub shop. A decent amount of seating, enough for the busy lunch rush. Things can get a bit pricey if you order the "large" sub. I definitely recommend the Philly cheesesteak; the meat is freshly grilled upon ordering it. The dining area can get a bit messy during the busy lunch rush. I know that the staff is busy serving customers, but I wish that every 15 minutes someone did a quick walkthrough of the dining to throw away random napkins, straw wrappers, etc. Free refills on the soda fountain. They were out of Cherry Pepper Relish during dinner on my May 13th visit. Super disappointed, as the relish is what really makes my sandwich great. Could the manager not stay on top of the inventory ordering or what?! The staff was not very friendly. There was only one person in front of me, and just about to pay for their sandwich when for some reason, the crew decided to make me wait and ignored me for 5 or so minutes without serving me, let alone acknowledging me, or telling me they'd be right with me. I came at night both times maybe an hour til closing time and it seems like they put their rude non wanting to work ass employees on at night smh. This place has an exceptional Reuben sandwich. I'd say it has the second best Reuben sandwich in Gilbert. I'd really like to come back more often, unfortunately there are two glaring issues that prevent me from doing so. I've been here five times and each time I order the same Reuben sandwich. Three of the times it was delicious, one it was awful and one it was below average. The consistency of the food is just not there. I'm not sure what variable was causing the flavor to change so dramatically, but it has the same issue as Firehouse subs. Consistency is the most important aspect in the food business. The second is the price. The cost of the sandwich is just too much considering how much of it is bread. If it were $6 to $7 dollars leaving the store I'd probably come here on a near daily basis, but spending $12 to $13 is just too much when I can get cheaper, near same quality elsewhere. If price is not an issue, I'd recommend this place. Good food, although inconsistent. read more
