This Whataburger is horrible. I went only because I wanted a shake. The machine was out of order. I asked for lemonade instead. No lemonade. I asked what drink do you have that is not carbonated, other than tea. The answer was Powerade. I asked for a salad and mentioned what dressing I wanted. So I have my drink and my salad. Halfway home I decided to drink my Powerade. It tasted like straight water. If I wanted water, I wouldn't have paid for it. I have two cases in my back seat. Colored water was what I was given. My salad looks wonderful except it's freaking DRY. No salad dressing was given. People you asked basic questions, received basic answers and still can't get it right. This is not hard. I came here at 11:45pm and there was a long line in the drive thru. I know this is a popular restaurant and it's usually pretty pack so it didn't surprise me when I saw the long line. However, when I drove by the window of the lobby, I could see 4 employees sitting down and it look like they were drinking coffee and playing on the phone. We all know they are probably reviews from drunkards on their way home, in the middle of the night, from one of the many clubs in downtown Houston. Alcohol impairs your ability to reason and distorts your judgment, y'all. This Whataburger is not below or above average- just average. Drive through was a little slow, but that's always the case with Whataburger because they make it when you order it... right? It's called- 'Get on Instagram time' duh! This whataburger on main is by far the worst of the worst. I had some friends visiting from NYC and they wanted to try the infamous whataburger from Texas. Well I placed an order online to be efficient since it was midnight, I get to the location and there were 4 cars in the drive thru, I know because I had time to get out and walk to go and look. I was told to be there at 12:06 for my order, it's now 12:54 and I'm still in line waiting as I have already paid for this big order online. I will probably NEVER be back to this location because they obviously have 1 single person working inside, as a person who has made burgers for a crowd in the past, there is no way this should take as long as it is. Nothing about this place is fast and the fact that when I finally got to the window after repeating my order in the speaker to let them know I was here, she didn't have it and had to reorder it!!!!!
