Definitely the worst Whataburger location in Texas. This location owner/manager should be cast out in shame to California. I ordered inside at 7:29. A patty melt and chicken strip meal there were 2 other customers inside waiting. I finally received my food at 7:51. That's a 22 minute wait for 2 meals. At least after that long wait the food was good right?? Wrong! Not only did I not receive what I ordered, they committed the cardinal sin of fast food - cold nasty French fries. Fellow Texans - do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else to eat. There is a 7-11 next door. Go get a hot dog and there's a 100% chance it'll be better quality and better experience. I had to give this place 2 opportunities before this review. First visit I ordered 5 meals. Spent a nice amount of money on that order. I got home unpacked everything and the only thing fresh was the chicken strips. The meat patties were old and dry ALL of the fries were stale like they had been sitting there for hours. I called the manager and explained that I ordered 5 meals and shame on them for serving old food. He said he could make fresh food if I returned with the food. Well I was home and did not feel like driving back after a long day of work. The manager was very defensive and unapologetic. I stated that an apology goes a long way and if I would of been asked to wait an additional 5 minutes for FRESH FOOD I would've cared. Second visit. I ordered 5 SMALL shakes. I had to repeat the order like 4 times. I got to the window and all of the shakes were LARGE. I was confused because as many times I repeated small I'm sure if they didn't get the flavors right at least the size would of been correct. I explained that I had ordered small and was not going to pay for large. They refunded me the money and then charged me for 5x 20oz ( medium) shakes.. I just said sure whatever. I took the shakes that were the complete wrong flavor and left. I'm not sure what to think about the staff the management and people that are training them. Me and my wife made our order online to hopefully save some time. We came to the back and told the lady on the speaker that we had and online order and she told us to go to the third lane we sat there for about 10 min waiting on some one to bring out our food then finally we backed up and had to scream across the parking lot to get some ones attention. Then after another 10 minutes or so finally some came out with our food then when we get home ( at the most 3 blocks away the fries are come and the burgers taste like it has been sitting there for a while. Not to mention I asked for not pickles and on the bag it had grilled on it and it said No pickles but the burger had pickles. Visited this Whataburger recently and wasn't too impressed. They literally messed up my order after reading back my order correctly. I didn't feel like bothering to drive back cause we had made it home by the time we noticed our order was incorrect. They just opened up recently so I expected them to be a little more attentive. Hopefully, the franchisee checks reviews. This location is in need of competent management. I can only assume that the consistent long wait times are due to poor management. It took at least 30 minutes to get through the line then I was asked to pull up and wait on my food. The food was brought out with no drinks. They lady took my receipt to get the drinks then never returned. I had to go inside and speak to someone about getting my drinks. I ordered a small shake and the machine was not filled with any ice cream. I told the manager I couldn't wait and just left. They restaurant was also out of tea. Initially, I assumed the restaurant was short staffed however. it looked like there were a good number of employees moving at a very casual pace. There were numerous customers waiting inside as well. Most of the newer Whataburger's have struggled with service in the past few years, but this one might be the worst. Completely unorganized and staff just standing around. The poor manager looked to be the only competent employee. I tried to use the app to order ahead of time to try to get around some of the incompetency, but only made it worse. Consistent like the rest of the reviews, this is absolutely the slowest Whataburger in Texas. No matter what time you come they are slow and you will wait a minimum of 15 mins for an order. This place has so many issues. Just an FYI, if you see the outside lane open DO NOT GET IN IT. Idc if the inside lane is 6 cars behind, you will be waiting 30 minutes compared to the inside lane. Horrible management and coworkers, security guard is not helpful, watch out for kayla. I went to whataburger and my cousin was getting my order and had the door open a car came to park next to me that was picking up another coworker and was upset that the door was open and started going off on us, my cousin goes inside and Kayla is taking pictures of my car and she wasn't even the coworker that was part of the confrontation. We told Kayla to delete the pic and she said okay I did and showed us the camera roll and it was gone. I then told the manager about the situation and he said I'll investigate and proceeded to do nothing and told the security guard to deal with it we tell him the situation and he ask Kayla and she says I didn't take a picture I thought you were joking (lying straight to there face because she just told us she deleted it and showed us) the security guards response to us was to tell us that it's nothing and people take pictures all the time and then watches us leave and comes out to watch us as if we were the problem. read more
