The set up is super cool - kind of like chipotle where you pick your rice (brown or white) or noodle (udon, pasta, ramen), 3 vegetables, and 2 proteins. They cook it right in front of you on a rotating wok under a big fire. For the Egg Ram Don, I love getting it with udon noodles, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, steak and tofu. My fiancé loves the fried rice here and always gets his with chicken, tofu, zucchini, broccoli and carrots. I love that we can add a fried egg to each entree and choose the spice level! I was semi concerned when I walked in and it smelled heavily of cleaner. Minimal amount of veggies and protein for the basic 12.99 bowl. You can always add more but that would increase the cost. Just mainly noddles. The services was ok, meaning you order a kiosks while works are making the food so contact with employees was minimal and by minimal I mean there wasn't any. So I went here during the grand opening. I will say that it has potential and maybe they don't have all of their equipment set up but from my first assessment the menu is confusing and there isn't really a list of the add-ons. I went because I seen a teriyaki sauce but when I asked about it I was pretty much pushed towards their recommendation. I got the Egg Ram Don, it was ok but the taste was missing something. So I made a pantry teriyaki sauce ( brown sugar, honey, soy sauce) and throw my leftovers in my Wok. The dish went from a 5 to a 9 instantly. What a hidden gem! I tried Whealthy from a recommendation from a friend and now it's a go-to for us. The Vongole Pasta and Cream Pastas are our favorites. They give heaping portions and we usually end up with a bit leftover for a small bite the following day. The food delivers and reheats well, and I love the stir fry taste. We ordered out. The flavor was good, my boyfriend got the fried rice and I got udon noodles. But it, particularly my noodles, was just so so so oily. Usually that's not something that I notice too much but I really couldn't enjoy it with the oil. I had to take a napkin to try to blot out the oil in my dish. Whealthy replaced the old Firehouse Subs, and I must say GREAT REPLACEMENT. Whealthy is an Asian fusion stir-fry shop, originating from southern California, and it looks like they are trying to build a presence in ATL as well! The concept is similar to Poke Bar & Chipotle -- it's a fast casual dining restaurant but it might take a little longer because they make your dishes FRESH and you can see everything cooked live in the open kitchen. The kitchen consists of these fancy cooking pots/woks, and they use intense fire to cook your food, so your food in ensured a smoky/fiery flavor as well. We tried the Whealthy Fried Rice, Shrimp Vongole Pasta, Cream Pasta & Sweet Soy Chicken. Living in an era of high inflation, I was impressed to see how cheap the menu items were. I mean, it's hard to find pasta for $12 these days -- and the service is much faster than a sit-down restaurant, especially with their fancy high-tech cooking methods. You get to choose what noodle/rice you want, along with the veggies & protein. It's fun because you get to choose what goes in what dish with no additional charge. Of course, if you want more, you can add more proteins & veggies at an additional cost. Everything tasted phenomenal, much better than the price value. Also, the portions were plentiful. I was actually shocked at how much food was given. The cream pasta was very creamy and flavorful, and I could definitely taste the fiery flavor within the dish. The shrimp vongole was my favorite -- pretty spicy (to the point I was sweating), but I loved the jam-packed flavor the dish delivered. I was so surprised that this kind of flavor can come out so quickly. The Whealthy Fried Rice tasted kind of like Kimchi Fried Rice, but there was no kimchi in there. Nevertheless, I loved the fried rice and the flavor that it had. It was actually really good, and I am curious as to what makes it taste that good. Last, but not least, the sweet & soy chicken was also great. I loved the stir-fried veggies that came along with it, but I loved it even more because it wasn't too sweet. The perfect amount of soy sauce & sugar. Overall, I was very impressed and I am even more grateful that this restaurant opened up nearby my house. This was a horrible experience, and there won't be a next time. After reading all the good reviews, I was really excited - but left unsatisfied and frustrated. The lack of ingredients and not being able to build your own bowl with the sauces - like the website shows - absolutely stunk. The portion size of protein and vegetables was soooo small compared to carbs for $12 (see portion size below - note the plastic fork for comparison), and the flavor was lacking and overall horrible. Thankfully I got mine to go so I could season at home. I get more vegetables and protein from my favorite Chinese restaurant. You got to pick 3 veggie addins which includes onions, green onions, which IMO should not be counted as one of your 3 veggie addins. The veggies that we added in were kinda skimped on. The protein selection freshness was suspect and the beef I choose I ended up leaving in my plate. It tasted old. You've got to wonder when all 3 of their employees chose to bring in Five Guys on their breaks while we were eating. Visited Wheatly on 12/4 after seeing it pop up as the numero uno spot on Yelp in Sandy Springs, GA (30328) over the past several weeks. In tow, as usual my Far East food snob partner in crime, none other than A to tha mf'n G! The website is misleading due to the underwhelming super simplicity and failure to describe the flavor and value... or is it just me? We ate in, it was early/ mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Other than the 4 employees, only two pickup order customers walked in while we were there. the orders: Egg ram don with onions, bell peppers, broccoli, tofu and shrimp. Vongole shrimp (sub egg noodles) mushrooms, bell peppers, bean sprouts and tofu. The setup with the individual automatic woks is unique, at least right now in the A. The results were truly better than expected, super tasty, fresh and very generous portions. I requested my Vongole extra spicy and they got it exactly right. Definitely will return! Great Asian fusion concept with a cool rotating, stir-frying wok that cooks to order. We tried two noodle dishes (one spicy and one non-spicy), and a rice dish. Our boys loved egg noodles and the rice dish (non-spicy), and my husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered. Sauces are very tasteful, the wok does wonders in bringing unique lasting taste, and their portion is generous. Almost never post reviews, but having been here twice with pretty light crowds wanted to give them a boost. Whealthy is a great new Asian Fusion lunch/dinner option in downtown Sandy Springs. The base dishes are highly customizable; you can get your choice of veggies and proteins with any of them, and the portions are generous enough for me personally to get nearly two meals out of. I have had the Fried Rice and the Egg Ram Don, both delicious and a 2/5 on the spice scale which is just the right level for me. With no line you can be in and out with a freshly cooked meal in five minutes, and everything seems to be of very good quality. Bonus points for very friendly service both times. I will definitely be going back regularly and hope that as the positive reviews roll in more people will check it out. read more
