Came in for oil change my lifetime tire rotation balance and alignment At 1st when I got there I shoulda ran but I gave it a chance. About an hour after my car was pulled in an hour and half after I got there the guy at the desk comes over to tell me my Coolant Reservoir was completely empty and I had major leaks (which I thought was wierd because I check my car on a regular and just because I'm a women i know about cars bt I'm to lazy to do it myself). So I knew it was something small if anything so I said write it down and I'll take a look. He sat there for a min and then walked away. 2 1/2 hours later my car was done and ready to pay I asked do u guys top off coolant "no we dont top off that stuff" ok I have some in my car in case of anything I'll do it myself. Checked my little 97' Geo Metro in at 11am for my free tire repair, rotatation, & fill. David, the manager, told me it'd be done in about two hours. Got everything fixed and left at 1:07pm. While waiting for my car, the place became really busy & i noticed a really rude/pushy customer giving David a lot of attitude. This customer held up the entire line too. Throughout the entire transaction David was pretty sincere and respectful. Great guy, pretty genuine, glad to see somebody like him managing the place. All in all, great service! read more

I needed a headlight bulb replaced.I was quoted a price of $ 27.07 I was given the invoice I sat down for 15min service person all of a sudden inflated the price to over $70.00 I went down to jiffy lube had it done for $30.00 . I ran into an issue with my tire coming from Napa. My air pressure was off . I stopped in prior to searching through yelp for the best shops in vallejo. As I walk in some one was dealing with a similar issue and was told that the could not repair the tire due to the location of the damage. He was up sold into purchasing a new tire while I waited in line . It made me un easy because they really focused on the upsell. I was greeted and gave them my keys. Same issue I thought let's hope that can fix it. Nope . Offered me a 150$ tire. Wtf . I thought maybe they are being honest . But I trusted my gut and phoned a friend. I risked driving back home to Santa Rosa and stopped periodically to fill my tire. i guess this place is good if you're willing to pay $25 to patch a tire. i classify that price as "ridiculously expensive," but i don't know vallejo well, and wheel works has a pretty good reputation for wheels. hence "wheel works." it seems they did a good job. i mean, after all, it's JUST a patch. the customer service was really good in spite of how busy they were on a sunday afternoon. i took the car in at 2:30 and got a call to pick it up at 4:51. not too bad, considering that they had 10 cars lined up before mine. i'd go back if i were ever stuck with a flat in v-town. read more

Although I did not get my car serviced here, the customer service was outstanding. I was referred by one of the guys at Speedee Oil/Midas to come to Wheelworks to replace my two rear tires. Unfortunately, Wheelworks did not have my tires, but the gentleman helping me gave me the information for my tires and gave me phone numbers and addresses to two other locations that had my tires. He patiently explained and answered any and all questions I had and told me if any other place did not have the tires I needed, I could come by on Monday and he could order the tires for me. Great customer service and I would definitely recommend anyone to come to this place. read more

Wheel Works gets the two stars for being open on a Sunday and for being able to get the tires I wanted the same day -- they were also friendly and professional. What's getting them dinged is 1) how slowly the work was done (I was there from 11:15 until 1:15) despite my having made a specific appointment; 2) the lack of communication about the testing results and 3) lack of any free maintenance services such as free repair or rotation, which is offered by Big O and Les Schwab. The lack of communication is a concern because, when I got home and studied the paperwork, there was a cryptic notation about "new rotors per (illegible)." I've no idea what that's about or what they're suggesting I do, and no one ever mentioned it to me while I was in the shop. In the same way, while I was shown the test results indicating the need for alignment, I was not provided with any results showing the alignment was now in place after their service. I'm left with a bunch of questions that I'll need to go back and ask. Also, they didn't stamp the receipt, as required for the warranty, so I'll have to go back for that, as well. On the available service, I used Wheel Works because I needed to get new tires immediately, and they were open. In future, however, if I can I'd prefer to use Les Schwab and take advantage of their ongoing service and support when tires are purchased. Nice guys, good stock, open when you need them, but more communication, education and service would have made a very big difference. read more

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I was there at 11 a.m with a appointment for a vehicle inspection (user driving service). They didn't even move my car until 1p.m . I can tell these jerks didn't take my service seriously because they were only receive $20 for the woek. But they took other customers furst. I will NEVER EVER come back here, and I suggest you don't either. Unless you want you time wasted and treated like a second class citizen . I had to have my brakes replaced. I decided to take my car into the Vallejo Wheel Works since they use Wagner brake pads and not the generic brands that other shops use. I made an appointment to make sure that my car was seen and completed on time. Wheel Works will give you a 10% off coupon if you make an online appointment. I was greeted by the service advisor, Dave, and he took care of my check-in rapidly and friendly. He listening to my concerns and I felt confident that my repair would be done correctly. They called mr back within an hour to let me know what they found during their courtesy inspection. They advised me what needed to be repaired and didn't try to sell me services that I didn't need. I really appreciated that and didn't forced into getting things that I didn't want to do know. I car was repaired within a couple of hours and gave me multiple discounts with my coupon. I saved quite a bit with these discounts. Wheel Works even showed me how bad my brake pads were even though I didn't request to save them. All the other shops I have dealt with, in the past, would not show me or make me feel like I am troubling them. I know shops are required to provide the customer with the replaced parts upon request, but this experience was much better. I will definitely plan to return to this Wheel Works for my other minor car repairs. read more

I had a very bad experience at this Wheel Works location. I had an 8:00AM appointment today for a Lifetime Wheel Alignment Service and spoke to a service representative named Ignacio. I purchased the Lifetime Wheel Alignment for my 2017 Lexus IS200t F Sport at Firestone Auto Care a few months ago. Conjunctly, both Firestone and Wheel Works are part of the same company. As a loyal customer for over 7 years, this is by far the lowest and worst customer service experience I had. The lack of customer service, treatment, and professionalism at this location is unbelievable. While speaking to the service representative, Ignacio, he had a blatant, unprofessional attitude towards me. While looking up for my records on file on the computer, him and his coworker were talking unprofessionally on another customers car being serviced stating verbatim, "Don't trust whatever this customer says because, it is full of B.S," while he is multitasking and looking up for my records on the computer at the same time. That raised my awareness and noticed the lack of professionalism in this location. It does not stop there, however, Ignacio started having a upscale, agitated attitude towards me when I advised him multiple times that my car was serviced by Firestone and I purchased the Lifetime Wheel Alignment (I advised him to look up my phone number or my mother's name and number). He contacted someone via phone to see if they could find my records. Sadly, did not find anything. And that's when things got out of hand where a point he trying to charge me for a Wheel Alignment Service with a "Smart" attitude, rude response. And on top of that, I needed to show a proof of my receipt that I have purchased the Lifetime Wheel Alignment. Till this point, I was really upset and not happy with the service at all and how I was being treated and had to take personal measures as a customer having every entitlement to speak what's right. Ignacio, making that probable assumption that I have not purchased a Lifetime Wheel Alignment on my vehicle or got it serviced before. Therefore, I went home and got the receipt, and came back to show proof that I purchased the Lifetime Wheel Alignment Service. But, how dare he staying verbatim, "Oh do you want to have your vehicle serviced now?" Absolutely not! How the way I was being treated as a customer and the lack of ethnic value and professionalism, I did not trust him to work on my vehicle and cancelled everything. Thus, filing a complaint to his supervisor. Nevertheless, as a military customer, Yelpers and people new to the area. Please be advised of this location and go somewhere else to get your tires serviced. Save your money and not spend it here and do not speak to the service representative, Ignacio. Bad attitude, bad customer service with him, and lack of self-integrity. We ABSOLUTELY do not pick up money on the street! We worked hard for every penny and still do not get any appreciation. I strongly despise people who do not treat others with respect and common courtesy especially for those that is currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces both Active and Reserve. Although this happened a year ago, but I just recently joined YELP, therefore, I will tell my story; I used Wheel Works when I had a flat tire, in the begining, the customer service rep was extremely friendly and accomendating, he assured me that my tire would be patch within an hour, this was 9:30 a.m. when I brought my car in, he said to come back at 10:30, he would have it ready, I was very please with his smiles and good service, I went back to picked up my car at 11:00a.m. to picked up my car, the same person came out and I asked if my car was ready, he said no, there was a few people ahead of me and that they had an appointment before me, he has not mentioned this in the begining, so I asked when I can expect my car to be ready, he said about 3:00, I was so upset I didn't even patch up my car, I took my car to BIG O instead, they had it done in an hour. The new store manager was incredibly Knowlegable, funny and personable (He came from another location) and beyond helpful. Absolutely terrible service! We rolled in with our shuttle bus, and the people working did not even take the time to look at our tire, instead they just denied us, and continued eating their lunch. First a. Foremost I'm a master ford technician I'm on vacation and had two tires blow out I didn't want to have my car towed all the way to my shop so I thought I'd have them do it. After having my tires mounted and balanced I had a bad shake throughout my whole car I called and wanted them to re balance my tires and the tried to blame them on my other from tires. I didn't feel like arguing with them so I just took my car in to my shop after pulling the tires off I noticed they putt about 4 strips of weights on both sides of each rim. I had to re mount my own tires and re balance after my car drove like normal. Never going back here again read more

Do not go to this location unless you have all day to just sit in the lobby. I had a nail in my tire and it took over an hour not because it was busy but because the workers all move slow as hell. They walk around like they hate their jobs and don't want to be there. No smile, no I will be right with you, nothing. They walk around almost as if they are in a zone of why are you here? Or why do I (the worker) have to be here. The owner should evaluate the staff and get people in that enjoy what they do or at least act like they do until quitting time. $30 plus dollars for a nail? I have to change my ratings, due to my recent experience. On November 11, 2018, I went to Wheel Works get an oil change. Adding that I had an appointment. Firstly, I got there and was told that others were able to have there car serviced before my car, because they have an appointment. I had to say" I also have an appointment." After checking the system, he apologized and began to check me in. I gave the manager my car key and left the store. Did some walking around that area getting lost. Came back 3 hours later went to the counter to inquire about my car. I'll was told that the car is ready to drive off. I paid for the service and left with my car. On December 5, I was riding pass a mechanic who heard a lifters tick. The mechanic ask me when the last time I received an oil change. I stated " before Thanksgiving ", he stated that the car sounded as if I was overdue for an oil change. That same day I had an school exam, so I had to put emergency oil in my car, so that it qont blow my engine. The next day I had my car awrvced and discovered that my car was not serviced by Wheel Wirks when I went to them and paid for that specific service to be rendered. Bought tires from here hoping to have them mounted, balance, and aligned. They told me it would take an hour and a half for the job and they would call me when the job is finished. 3 hours past and still no call. I drove to the shop and the job was still not done. I was told that my 235/35-19 tire would not fit my 19X9.5 and they didn't want to take the risk. Took the tires to Adam's tire shop and he had no problem with mounting the tires. I watched the tech mount and balance and no special procedures were done to mount the tire. Mind you, I am also a tech so I would know what needed to be done. The only negative thing is they take forever.. My car was there 8 hours that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. At end of appointment Came to me and convinced me that someone else had done broken a bolt and they didn't know how the set up was behind the wheel so I'd have to come back for a possible 4 hour appointment while they figured it out. I went to my mechanic and learned they cross threaded the nut - not an uncommon mistake and since they had the wheel off why did they not just fix it? So here I am with new tires and a busted bolt and how could I trust them to even rotate the tires? No offer to fix either when I called back to explain my cancellation. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I was expecting a lot more after an earlier visit to fix a leaky tire. I made an appointment for a Saturday along with a quote for 4 new tires. When I got there they didn't have the tires. They had 3, no 2 other tires that were of course more expensive. I made another appointment for the following Sunday for the other 2 tires I heard them order. I assumed they would hold them for me. No, I got there Sunday and they were gone. On top of that one of the new tires is leaking, they broke one of my hubcaps and 3 of 4 valve stem caps are missing. Wait there's more. They didn't honor their 59 minute quick tire install. It took 90 minutes for 2 tires. I got the hazard warranty free for 2 tires ($29). I should have got $59 back and a free oil change. Very disappointed. Came in at 230pm , man at register stated to come back 2-3 hours for a tire patch due to nail on the tire. They had 2/3 cars ahead of me. I said ok ! Called at 515pm when I got off work at Kaiser called them they told me they couldn't fit me in today. What ? I'm so confused, they now stated they had 7 cars in front of me & wouldn't be able to fit me in at all. Wow if I would of just left my car at least it would of got done. Now I have find someone else to fix my tire. They should of told me this at 230 so I could of been looking for someone to fix the tire soon as I got off work! I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service here. First off I made a call a week before and talked to someone who worked there to make sure that they could align my car to certain specs that weren't the same as factory, the person I spoke to said that would be no problem at all and quoted me $110. So I waited all week for my appointment so excited to get my car finally finished and ready for the track. Then when I get there I explained to the guy at front desk that I had made an appointment and these are the specs I wanted. He said "we only align to factory specs"... What did I wait all week for! He said, if I want my own specs that they'll charge me $250! That's ridiculous! I said it's only a little off from the factory specs and I have them written down here it should only take a few more minutes, he said nope we only do factory specs. Not even a sorry or anything.
