Customer service is the worst I have ever seen! I had an appointment for a full tint on Monday, I was on west street when they called me (9:58 am) to tell me their "tint guy" was out of town...so I rescheduled for Tuesday at 10 am I pull up at about the same time Tuesday morning...there is a red mustang parked out front so I go to the door and it's locked...I waited 5 min until a little past 10 and called...no answer...I waited 10 more minutes and called again...no answer and door was still locked. At 1020 2 guys show up look at me and walk in and close the door behind them... Just awful. Get your car tinted or worked on elsewhere! read more

I understand with Covid and with smaller businesses have reduced staff but no staff on site when listed as open is not acceptable. No answer by phone and no response via social media messenger they have listed is not a good look. No signs posted of new operation hours. Nada. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. I scraped my car's new black wheel on a curb, scraping a long section. I did not even know wheel repair places existed! I made an appointment with Wheelz for the next day, brought my car in and in 1.5hrs, the wheel looked brand new. The paint matched even though the car is a 2021 model Tesla. He had the paint in stock! I am very happy with the repair and will try to remember that my new car has a longer wheel base so I don't do this again. read more

Shopping over in Virginia last Friday afternoon when I noticed a flat on my Kia. Changed it out for the spare and drove back to Sam's in Annapolis. Turns out the wheel itself was bent most likely from a hitting a pot hole and that they couldn't fix it. The tire guy recommended Wheelz on West Street. So here it was 5 pm on a Friday and with great doubt in my mind, got over to Wheelz. Larry asked if I could leave it overnight, however, I was working Saturday from 8 am to 9 pm and wouldn't be able to pick it up till next week. He asked me to come back in an hour and he would see if he could get it repaired by then. I showed up at 6 only to find out that not only was the rim bent, but also cracked through! He proceeded to weld the fracture and repair the defect then got the tire back onto the car! What a great job! He saved me from having to buy a whole new rim and got me up and running at the end of business on a Friday! Excellent service! I highly recommend!!! read more

I bought my car used and it came with 19 inch rims. I had no idea how hard it would be to find someone who could mount new tires on those rims. Toyota of Annapolis couldn't do it and neither could NTB. I finally found Marcus and not only could he mount the tire, he came to my house and picked up the rim I had repaired and the new tire I had and brought it back the same day!!! I decided to have my windows tinted for the first time ever ... I read reviews online and ventured over to Wheelz. The shop is just off West Street easy to find for sure. The staff was very pleasant and helped to explain about the differences between tints etc ... as i said this was my first time. They installed the tint I selected in a quick professional manner and got me on the road before I knew it! While this was just for window tinting, they were fun to deal with and even gave me some ideas about new wheels and tiers, but only after I asked them not as a pushy sales gimmick. I've been here twice, now. Once for tinting, and once for wheel repair/balancing/mounting. Both times, I got exactly what I was promised. The work was just what they said it would be, and right in the timeframe quoted. Other places said matching BMW factory tint was very hard, and usually couldn't be done. They matched it perfectly the same day, and it's looked great for months now. The wheel repair bill actually came in lower than the fair estimate they gave me. He was deeply apologetic and acknowledged that my experience should have been handled differently and not how he wants his customers to be treated. Mr. Spriggs kindly reimbursed me for the items stolen from my car with a very kind note and also gave me a gift certificate to the website of my favorite band, Metallica from which two of the CDs in my car were taken. Though my initial experience was not great, the ensuing response was top-notch. I am impressed with Mr. Spriggs' action and immediate response to my review. Thank you. I selected Wheelz, LLC based on all the positive reviews received. I preface this review with saying the quality of the work done on my car was great, it is the customer service and follow through that I found tremendously lacking. I contacted Wheelz, LLC regarding correcting curb rash and pitting on four wheels of my 2003 Honda S2000. I had an appointment to drop off my car on Monday, May 17th, Marcus and I discussed the work to be done, which included having all four wheels resurfaced and my calipers painted. I was informed at the time it would require a week until completion. He informed me he had a car that was dropped off in front of mine (Mercedes SLK 230), but they had not paid a deposit, so he was not working on it. I paid him a deposit that day. the time Marcus informed me he was going out of town on that Thursday, May 20th. I contacted Marcus on the following Tuesday, May 25th, and was informed my vehicle was not ready for pick-up and that it would be another week because he meant a week from when he returned. If I had known this to be the case, I would have dropped off my car the following week as it is my daily driver. I contacted him on Friday, May 30th for a status update and was informed my wheels had been completed but needed to cure and that one of my wheels had pitting that bled through the paint that needed to be redone. Marcus told me my car would be ready on Wednesday, June 2nd around 11:30 AM. I called and confirmed the car was ready and picked up my car that day. As I was driving home, I noticed my iPod classic, cigarette lighter chargers, and CDs were missing from my glove box and console when I went to play music. When I got home, upon further inspection I also noticed my emergency roadside bag was missing from my trunk. I contacted Marcus and asked him if he had removed anything from my car while working on it and he said no. I proceeded to tell him what was missing from my car. He told me it was impossible because my car was in the garage. I knew this not to be true because when I picked up my car, it was covered in bird excrement on my convertible top, hood, lots of debris from trees in the wells of my front and back windows, as well as gick that was stuck to the paint of my hood and trunk. It was apparent to me my car had been unlocked and left outside. The car will now require detailing. Marcus expressed no remorse and in essence accused me of lying. I had just spent a considerable amount of money to have my wheels redone, it is inconceivable for me to lie about the theft of an iPod, CDs, car adapters, and my emergency roadside kit. The thieves missed my GPS, toll cash pouch, a bag of plug-in chargers, and mini cables because they were not easily visible. I have filed a police report for the stolen items and have filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency and will be filing a complaint in small claims court. In addition to accusing me of lying, he proceeded to tell me he did my job as a rush and put me in front of other vehicles. The work I requested was all cosmetic and not detrimental to the operation of my vehicle. If he were not prepared to do the work at the time, I would have rescheduled. The business practices, dishonesty and lack of communication left a lot to be desired. I did research Wheelz, LLC and discovered they are not a business in good standing and their status has been forfeited https://egov.maryland.gov/BusinessExpress/EntitySearch/Business. I took my car there about week ago to get tinted about a we. I specifically asked that Lance do the car. I was told sure no problem he is on his way in. After the car was done I noticed a few imperfections. I personally contacted Lance about the problems, only to find out that he has not been working there since October. I hit a huge pothole Tuesday night on Kenilworth Ave -- I made it home, but saw that the sidewall on the front right tire was bulging way out (like a fat lip) and figured I'd need to get the rim straightened and get a new tire. Didn't think I'd make it far with my tire the way it was. I went online and found Wheelz​ on West Street -- it was probably 10:30 PM when I was looking around. To my surprise, Larry (the 26 year old owner -- yep 26) came up in a chat window and asked how he could help (at 10:30 at night). I told him what was up, and he said bring it in first thing and he'd have me out of there ASAP. He all but matched the Sam's Club price for the tire ($4 more, and Sam's didn't have it in stock), straightened the rim, and had me out the door 1/2 hour after I got there. Great service, great price, got me in and out of there super fast. I don't know what more you can ask for. Add the fact that Larry is 26 and decided to open his own business (and is getting it done) just blows my mind. I love guys like Larry, work hard, take risks, succeed. My friend went here to get all 4 of his wheels balanced and to fix a bent rim. He's a mechanic, so he knows what he's talking about. This should have taken 1 hour. After the job, he came out and discovered the job wasn't done, multiple wheels were still unbalanced. Of course, he went back and complained, so they "did the job" another time, but they only balanced 1 wheel, which they made him guess was the issue. However, there was still at least 1 wheel that was unbalanced. He did not go back. Summary: man pays ~$250 for a job that takes an hour, they did half of it in 3 hours. read more

I wanted to get my windows tinted, and called last minute on a saturday... They said they could get me in at 5pm, I asked how long it takes for them to tint windows and they told me about an hour too an hour and a half (they close at 6pm). So I told him I didn't wanna make anyone stay late for my tint and I could do it another day... The guy told me it wasn't a problem and that they could get it done. Dropped my car off and they literally called me 45 minutes later to pick it up... It looks amazing and they did a great job in such a short time. This place was horrible. A small shop located on the back of another automotive window repair company. I drove an hour and a half to realize they don't open until 10am. When I called the day before to ask if they stocked my rim size they told me they did and the price started at a set amount for 4 rims. When I arrived, they explained the only had 2 options available and that they had to have someone bring them from a storage facility in Glen Burnie. After waiting several hours for the rims to arrive, they did not have the proper size lug nuts to sell with the rims. Keep in mind I never asked for installation. All I expected was to drive up, browse a few options, agree on a price and leave with rims, lugs and hub centric rings. Little did I know when I went to install the rims, the hub centric rings were not included in the boxes. So I contacted them and they still tried to charge me for a set. After letting them know I wasn't happy they offered to mail them to me at no cost. After calling back 3 times to confirm they sent them its now been 2 weeks and I haven't received them. I had to go buy my own lugs and aftermarket hub rings. Even after this experience, I tried to return business to them with getting a second set of rims for my other vehicle. I spoke to several people over the course of 5 hours awaiting emails of photos and options for me to choose from. I wanted to give them plenty of time to get the rims to them in hand before I drove out there. After waiting all those hours for a few photos I found a place in Baltimore that actually had a show room with plenty of in stock options and included lugs, locks and hub rings free of charge. I'll be taking my future business there. read more

Every one of them made me feel like I should have just ordered online and saved the trip. I made my way to meet the owner, Larry, who was friendly and knowledgeable from the start. He asked me what I wanted to do to my new car and helped me find everything I needed. Tint, 22" wheels and tires, custom installed my tail lights, vinyl wrap, the list really does go on and on. The entire team at Wheelz was incredible and in between visits I brought in a friend to tint her brand new 4 door Sentra as well. Wheelz is the only place my cars will visit moving forward. I was truly flabbergasted after reading the reviews written on behalf of Wheelz Annapolis. Where did I go wrong to not receive a 5 star customer service like the rest of these reviewers. This experience was one of the most frustrating and stressful business deals I have encountered. I only wanted my rims to be painted. The owner (Larry) told me it will take 2 weeks (max) to complete the job. I paid 50% of the total cost when I dropped my wheels off to them. It took longer than 3 months for me to receive my wheels; I stopped counting the days after the timed reached 3 months. I may have spoke with the owner nearly 20 times during the entire 3 month period. I was constantly lied to; on multiple occasions Larry told me that my wheels were completed and I later learned that they were not. The first time was after 4 weeks, he told me the job was done but I never received my wheels. He even lied to me and said that he sent them. I was avoided; I would call and his staff would tell me that he is in the building then they would come to the phone and tell me he is absent. Furthermore, they would leave me on hold until I disconnected the call. I continued to give Larry the benefit of the doubt, being that he is a young man with an ambitious mind. However, things began to get ugly. Larry explained to me that he cooperates with other companies who help paint the rims. He mentioned that the other company was at fault for the tremendous delay. After weeks of expelling my anger, Larry finally goes and retrieves my wheels and takes them to another company. He again explained that the new company will paint my rims and have them to me in "2 weeks." The 2 weeks past, and again I did not have my wheels. He gave me the number of the new company and told me to contact them. I told to Larry that "I did not do business with them, I did it with you." Few more weeks later, I finally received my wheels. I had nitrogen-free valve caps with tpms on my tires when I gave them my wheels. All caps were missing from my wheels and the tpms was defective. Also one of my tires have a transverse tear along the side of the tire. The size of the tear is about 0.5 inches in width and 10 inches in length. I brought these issues to Larry attention and he decided to ignore me. At this point, I decided that I no longer need to give Larry the benefit of the doubt and that I should write this review. The only good that I received out of this beleaguering experience is that I did not have to pay the other half of the total cost. However the dissatisfaction of my experience preponderates the 50% discount. For the sake of the discount, I am okay with giving Wheelz Annapolis 1 star. read more

Very accommodating and very professional! Lance did a great job tinting my windows. It took about an hour and a half and I'm very happy with the results. I also had two friends that needed tinting on their cars as well so Lance made us a great deal for all 3 cars. Very few stores will do this for their customers. We went here because they had high reviews, but when Lance tinted both of our cars in my opinion they were filled with lint and hair in-between the glass and tint. We also noticed in our opinion the windows were left sticky. In our opinion there were streaks of the solution they used to moisten the tint all over the vehicle doors and dashboards. They did agree to re-do the tint. After the second time of not having our vehicle for half a day in our opinion there was still lint throughout the window tint. We waited days to see if they were air bubbles that just needed to dry but in our opinion nope they were little pieces of hair and lint. Lance from Wheelz told us it was normal to have little pieces of lint in your window tint. We had they just remove the tint. Thankfully we found another window tint place that left no lint in our window tint. Our opinion is our experience with Wheelz was horrible. read more
