Parking 5/5 Arrived at 10ish. Busy lot in strip mall with shared parking. No problem finding parking. Atmosphere 5/5 Lots of Country and Patriotic splash throughout. It may take you a minute to take it all in but it's fun and comfortable here. The place was bustling with patrons and the waiting list was growing with some waiting outside. The restaurant has multiple dining rooms and larger than you might think from the outside. With the assistance of the hostess we've took the room immediately to the right to accommodate our large party of 9. . Service 5/5++ Today's we were served by Madison our ambassador for our group today. She was all smiles and provided our large group with a superb breakfast experience. Our group all selected a wide variety of breakfast items and Madison had it all timed well from the kitchen which says allot about her but also the amazing kitchen getting the groups orders out! Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I chose their Mushroom and Swiss omelette, country style potato's, pan fried jalapeños with wheat bread toast. Cozy Corner Cafe, Madison did a great job for us today and are officially on my Yelp Radar for Breakfast! Did you know, Cozy Corner and Apache Junction's Mickey D's are part of Cafe Mix, 4405 E Michelle's Rd Unit 106 in Mesa? I have two checked off, next Cafe Mix! The hash browns were good, but I like mine quite crispy (crunchy food and eggs go so well together). Coffee and orange juice all around, and a temptation for pancakes made me taste a good chunk from the plate I thought we were 'sharing'. They were very busy, it was brunch time, with all tables occupied but still smiles were seen on the staff's faces. I hadn't been back here in a long time, but I think Cozy Corner will be on my rotation now See you next time!

Not a bad spot to meet up for breakfast, however, all the alcohol promotion for breakfast felt very…read moreodd to me. Personally, I don't drink alcohol until the afternoon at the earliest (even if on vacation) so it was kind of wonky when the waiter asked me if I wanted coffee or champagne when I arrived to meet a friend. Im definitely a morning coffee drinker and champagne is for special occasions in my book. With that said, I spotted two guys sitting next to us having beers and Bloody Mary's and it was 9am. To each, their own, however, my stomach lining is too weak for that first thing in the morning. I ordered an eggs Benedict plate and had the Hollandaise on the side. I am pretty particular about sauces so I never want something smothered in something where I will regret it or not even touch it. Just to be safe, I asked for it on the side, just in case I dont like it. Im like that with almost any sauce, including dressings too. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. But, when he came by to tell me the cook had smothered my plate in Hollandaise and would it be ok...I sort of cringed and said that if it was only on it a little bit, I could accept it. Waiter knew that wasn't gonna work so he put another order in. I appreciated that. Shortly after, my plate came out and my friend ordered a Korean BBQ bowl that came out too. He said it was good. Mines was also good, egg looked a little sad but tasted fine. Tater tots were definitely a guilty pleasure for me and very good. Waiter was very nice and offered us the mistake order, which my friend glady took home. This place is fun, has a bar vibe and gives you permission to drink early in the day (if thats your thing, its not mine). There is also happy hour at 7am - 9am. We were able to catch up, talk and took our time with breakfast. While this isnt usually the kind of place I frequent, I did enjoy the experience. I could be convinced to come back as the breakfast was good, service was good too. But, youre not gonna find me pounding down alcohol early in the morning. Its just not my style.

I made some Restaurant suggestions for my out of town friend and we agreed on What's Cracking Cafe based of Yelp photos. Parking 5/5 I arrive at ~8:45 am lots of spots were available as many of the other restaurants were not open for breakfast. Host 5/5 Very friendly. I was given my choice of tables and picked one away from the front door and closer to the bar in the rear and patio. Atmosphere 4/5 To be honest, the restaurant wasn't what I expected, it was smaller inside than I imagined and had more of a sports bar feel but it was nice. It was at about half capacity with customers when I arrived. I spent a few minutes checking out everything and taking some photos including the large wrap around patio. There was a significant amount of space and seating outside including a bar counter that opens during our fall through late spring season. One really enticing spot on the rear patio is under a shade roof with a great couch and gathering place with a grotto feel to it. This would be my comfort place in season! Back inside I ordered a cup of coffee and waiting for my friend. Service 5/5 Vivian H arrived and joined me ordering coffee and made her observations about the place. She felt the same vibe about the inside dining area. Our host and server handed us menus and we spent time looking it over. We were surprised at all the options. From memory I believe Vivian chose an eggs Benedict dish and I ordered the Korean BBQ bowl. Food 5/5 My bowl was very good, portion was generous. Her pick looked pretty good as well. Vivian may cover all of this on a separate review. Icing on the cake 5/5++ Collaboration and conversation was the best part about this visit. I have been working on a special veterans project for a few months that Vivian has assisted me with and for that i'm forever grateful. It's always nice to have in person meetups. Welcome back to Arizona enjoy your time while you're here; Safe travels my friend! Bravo Giving credit to the Resturant and our host, it really was a great place for doing just that. Quiet and peaceful. What's Crack-o-Lacking my friends-SYOY!
