That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. So, I tasted an amber ale and it was obviously oxidized to an unpleasant level. Generally, this is due to old beer and production methods that do not exclude oxygen from the process. Some of these methods are a tradeoff--but oxidized is oxidized and there is nothing you can do about it after it happens. The server disagreed that it was oxidized by looking at the glass of beer thus exhibiting her lack of what oxidized beer or wine is and how one would detect it. The the server said that it is a surprising taste, "The first time you are [at a craft brewery] here". I paid for bad beer. I left a tip for an insult and terrible service.
