Incredibly slow service. Food was cold. Very unfriendly staff. The inside of the store was in need of cleaning.

This is our favorite white castle in the area. We drive up from Lafayette, Tennessee to go to Sam's Club and stop in at this white castle fairly often. The food is always hot and fresh. The people who work there seem very nice always willing to say hello and God bless and do a little joke. Sometimes it's a customer with a grumpy bad attitude. We go in with smiles on our face and remember that these these people are working here and we're all blessed. read more

Coming back from a long road trip from Florida and during a rainstorm, we decided to stop for some Good ole White Castle. This was the first one in Bowling Green we saw besides the one in Nashville just off I-65. We dined in here and the place was somewhat busy. This one was actually quite cleaner on the inside compared to the ones back in Louisville, KY. Service was somewhat fast but, our food came out fresh and yes we conquered a whole 10 sack of White Castles. Only kicker here was there was no Big Red available in the fountain machine. They have the best Big Red no matter which WC you go to . We definitely were impressed with this one despite the other reviews I've read. They did good this visit. read more

Since we don't have white castle down south we always try to stop on our way home. This was the wrong location to rely on! It was a Sunday early evening time and every single table inside was dirty or had food on it, flies flying around the counter and kitchen area, and no one took my order after standing at the counter for 10 minutes. The workers just kept looking at me expecting me to leave I guess. The drive thru line was backed up so they were focused on that I suppose but at least take my order after a few minutes of me standing there. Saw one of the employees pull her cell phone out of her pocket and fire off a txt message. Saw another employee answer the store phone with his gloves still on and go right back to making food. We waited inside for 20 minutes for 7 sliders and fries. We watched the drive through cycle through quite a few times, but they couldn't care less about the people dining in...or rather attempting to. My hubby finally went to complain and they said they had to take care of drive through first, so he asked for a refund. It took them a couple more minutes to find a key to the register to open it. My husband rarely raises his voice, or gets ticked off at anyone, but he did today. He asked loudly if they were also going to make us wait for a refund, and then told people waiting to order how long everybody had been waiting. The line shortened as people walked out as we did. We drove down the road to Krystal's. I had a craving for little square burgers today. Save yourself a lot of frustration, pass this White Castle by and opt for anywhere else! read more

We saw this place as we came into town from the interstate and could not resist stopping for what used to be our favorite burger. We were very disappointed. The service was fine but, the burgers have gotten very small and just don't seem to have the wonderful flavor they used to have. You would think for the price they charge, $.91 each in a combo special, that they would have gotten better. My wife got a fish sandwich and a chicken sandwich and they were also smaller and tasteless. Sadly, we have made our last visit to the iconic Castle. read more

The cashier tried to charge a card more than once at 3:00 a.m. when I was already back home and my bank called me and detected a fraud on my account and I've been home for 4 days now. So how in the world can somebody try to charge my card 4 days later when I was not there? read more

I occasionally crave a White Castle. This location is ok, average in every respect. Absolutely skip the bbq sandwich they are currently advertising - it's a burger with stringy-somethings and crunchy bits of...something, and I wish I'd just made a manwich at home. Staff is nice enough, but not very motivated. A guy is eating at the grill, and no one is maintaining the lobby. Kind of wish I'd spent my $6 elsewhere. read more

First walked in manager was complaining about how sore his arm was because he had a tattoo had someone else buttoning up his sleeves they were engaged in conversation so they could not wait on us we had to stand there for a few minutes. Dining area was a complete mess drink area had spills french fries laying on it things not refill the bathrooms were a complete mess stuff on the floor sink was dirty toilet areas were dirty overflowing garbage . Workers also working with no hair gnats and the manager was working with no hair nets and some young guy working with cornrows as event down is cornrows are going right by the food on counter top. We stopped at the first White Castle we could find traveling from Texas to Ohio. We have stopped there several times on our travels North. I ordered the White Castle slider with the Impossible Burger! It was delicious, my husband ordered 4 sliders. They were awesome as usual. I even ate one of the regular sliders. The restaurant and restroom was spotless. They were only open for carry out and drive thru. If you love the Impossible Burger you can now pick it up at White Castle. Eating sliders from White Castle reminded me of cheap date night in Cincy which was a sack of 10 and a 6 pack of Miller Light. All staff wore masks and practiced social distancing. There was plexiglass between White Castle employees and customers. Oh the good ole days, I sure do miss them. Think White Castle will move South to Texas? read more

I came through on a Saturday night around 3 am, granted it was late but here it's pretty common for People to frequent this place at that hour. I waited in the drive through line for well over a half an hour and never even made it to the window before giving up. Employees seemed untrained and not interested in serving quality food in a fast, friendly and clean environment. No napkins, mustard or ketchup at the condiment station, no clean tables available. The food was cold. The meat didn't have any taste. Never again. there was a group of 10 drunk teens at in line, it took 10 mins just to take our order, then another 5 for the girl at the window to even acknowledge us, then she finally took our card and gave us the drinks and didnt say thank yu or tell us to pull to the next window or nothing, then when we pulled up nobody was at the window so we sat there for another 10 min. Twenty minutes to go thru their drive thru, at 11:30am on a Sunday. I ordered their most generic combo (#1) and after 20 minutes I still have to watch the cashier go and round up the burgers herself, instead of, oh I don't know, having someone do that for her, so that she can get people through the line maybe a little faster? Meanwhile there's a fella standing behind the counter, doing nothing, blissfully unaware that his help is needed. I've had the same experience over the past couple years at this location, whenever I would pass thru and want some WCs. This is a sign of poor leadership. Without having even met them, I can say that the manager here is someone of low moral character and/or intelligence and needs to be fired immediately, and replaced with someone--anyone--with some management skills and a desire for their business to thrive, instead of just doing the bare minimum to collect a paycheck. Sure, this is a White Castle and not a Ferrari dealer, but as the Bible says, those who can't be trusted with little certainly can't be trusted with much. read more

Stopped here at lunch time's One cashier was working. Line was crazy inside and out. Wait time was ridiculous. No napkins. No ketchup in the dining area. Half the tables were dirty.
