Best fast food place I ever been to in a while and I always wanted to go to whittle castle so on my way to back home from Vegas I stopped at the biggest Chevron in the world and I saw a White Castle there . Ever since the movie of kumar and herald I wanted to eat there and I was not disappointed either . Chicken and veggie ( yes they have ) were very good. White Castle only made me interested because of the movie Harold and Kumar and I had to go get some. Coming back from California my gf wanted to try some White Castle, I only tried the frozen ones so eating one out of the restaurant would be something else. We ordered a number 7 which I believe is a 10 piece with fries and drinks. We substituted one of the fries for onion rings at no cost. We pulled to the side to eat the burgers with the 3 sauces ranch, bbq and honey mustard. If you mix the bbq and honey mustard then it makes a not so bad sauce. You figure 10 mini burgers would make us full but it was more of a snack. It took a while for our meal to come to the window but I guess that's the way they do it. read more

The staff is SOOOOO RUDE. They honestly must hate their job....I only gave 2 stars because the food was pretty good. Fries could've used a lil more salt, it seemed like they had no salt. Ice machine could NOT keep up with customers, and it wasn't even too busy. The staff was so amgry when anyone asked for some ice from the kitchen machine. Food was good service was absolutely terrible and they were super rude. They called my number, i IMMEDIATELY went up and the guy walked away, i stood patiently for 2 mins before saying excuse me and telling them my number. They were rude when i did that(of course). Judging by recent reviews staffing needs major improvement. These people have zero customer service skills. There was a young male working register he wasn't too bad. He wasn't rude like the rest of the staff but he sure didn't seem happy either. Huge bummer for my first time going there. The 5 stars is for the exceptional service & NOT for the food. I was helped by cashier Katryn(sp?). Not sure if that's her name as the receipt says server is Brittany, but name tag says Katryn. Anyway, it's the older female (~ 65/70?) with short blondish hair with streaks of black? Anyway, my first time trying White Castle. Didn't expect to see a White Castle on my route & even though it was way too early for burgers at 9:18am (Don't judge me. :P) I may never run into another. IMO, definitively not worth the price for a teeny tiny burger. It wasn't good at all. Meat was super thin, but I liked the soft bread. Katryn was super helpful in explaining the options & which is the better value for what I ordered. She went out of her way to help & you could tell she was genuine. My folks used to own a restaurant & I know how hard it is to find great workers. I would hire her in a heartbeat if I had a business. The only good thing that White Castle did was hire her despite her age. Most places would not give someone her age an opportunity to work, but kudos to White Castle for hiring her. I also saw another female in her mid to late 60's (brown hair) working there. She was also super nice (Mary?). Overall... We stopped here on our way back from California because I was really wanting some cheese fries. It is located in that gigantic humongous terribles, and inside it's in the corner to the right. The area itself is pretty big and obviously the menu is nice for what it is. My go to is will always be the cheese fries, White Castle probably has some of the best cheese for is that I've ever eaten. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cheese isn't that weird spicy nacho cheese, either. It's like it was churned with love. The little burgers are nothing special, but they're decent. My dude got the works fries, and I still think mine were better. The inside, the tables, most were not wiped down,and that's where the star is taken off. It was literally a ghost town there, only a couple eating and us. There were 3 or 4 workers, so I'm not sure how they couldn't clean the tables. Get the cheese fries. read more

Would give it 0 stars. We got there at 4:30 on 11/20/21 before it's closing time. The store had full staff standing around. But when you tried to go inside they rudely told you to go away they are closed. Closed stores have no staff standing around and the lights are out. Will not be going there again. We were hoping for some good food to take back to home. read more

This place lol... I went through the drive thru today (Saturday November 3rd, 2018) around 12pm. I ordered 3 chicken breast sliders and a regular French fry. I'm the only car in the drive thru. After waiting 2 minutes at the order sign, pulled up to the second window, paid $9 and some change. The window shuts. And I waited... then waited some more. Then probably about 5-7 minutes later the window opens and the guy asked if I had the 2 original sliders....I say nooo 3 chicken... and he slaps him hand down on the counter window and says " ohhh dang that's right.... ok ... ok... I'm gonna get that for you." I look into the rear view window and see the 2 cars behind me reverse and back out of the drive thru...which now makes me again the only one in the drive thru. The window shuts again. I wait another 5-7 minutes, the window opens. This guy hands me a bag covered in grease, even too greasy for White Castle and says... " Ok here, go... you already paid, just take it, go" What the hell!?!? I was caught so off guard by the way he was talking and what he was saying to me, I almost started laughing. Never going back. If you're looking for a place to pick up a late night snack or even a early dinner, you can't go to White Castle in Jean, NV. After spending a few days in Las Vegas, and you start heading home towards California, or you get off work and head to Vegas for a few days, you stop at the Big Chevron Station in Jean NV, don't count on picking up any white castles unless you're there before 4:00 PM. Why do they close early? They're off the main highway where a lot of tourist traffic is. You go through this big station with biggest restroom, a whole variety of snacks and they don't even post their hours at White Castle. On their website they show their open from 9 to 3. read more

Just opened and no one here. It's White Castle in the middle of nowhere. Located at the newly built Terrible visitor center in Jean, NV, this location is heavily staffed, and one thing for sure, my sliders came very quickly. There is a drive thru for those who don't want to get out of their cars, but what the heck, this visitor center is pretty cool to stop by. It's White Castle, and you don't have to deal with crowds from the Las Vegas Strip to get there. BTW, if you're a Nevada resident...tell them, and show your driver license. Definitely recommend opting for the jalapeño cheese and requesting Düsseldorf mustard (brown mustard without the kick) packets. Not just no...Hell no. It took almost 30 minutes to get through the line...and I was the only person in the drive-through. 3 or 4 minutes to get the person to take my order (I was okay with that...stuff happens). I ordered the double cheese slider combo, Chicken Rings, Onion Chips and a Coke. I pulled up to the window and after about 5-minutes, a guy came to the window, apologized for taking so long and took my debit card, handed me my coke and my card and receipt. 20 minutes later, he handed me my order, asked if I wanted ketchup and when he had disappeared for 5 minutes, I drove off. The fries, the onion chips and the chicken rings were all soggy like they hadn't been cooked in hot enough grease...really, it tasted more like they took them out of a bag and microwaved them....and they all kinda-sorta tasted the same. Very little seasoning and pretty greasy. Reaching back into the bag, I went to pull out the napkins. NONE. The sliders were bland and I have to agree with one of the reviewers that the ones that you buy in the grocery store are better. They have recently opened, so...maybe they are going through growing pains. I'll give them one more shot...but not the drive-through. read more

Wow!!!!! This place has great management . The place was very clean and looking into the kitchen the slider presentation and cooking looked so good! Been to White Castle on the Vegas strip and it was horrible. This place had god quality and friendliness. To top it off I had some AMAZING customer service Kat on the cashier. She made my day. She gave me a discount because I found a Credit Card on the counter and got the person in time. Sure it was only $1 off but it was the thought that counted. This is the slowest and dirtiest White castle i have been to. 4 people working. Slow as molasses. They act like they have nothing to do. Had to stop here on our road trip to Utah. You can't compare the frozen burgers to the ones at the actual joint. These little burgers are so good I could honestly eat like 6/7 no problem, but I can't resist their sides. Unique sides you don't see anywhere else. My kids love the chicken rings, and I like the onion chips. This location has a drive thru too which is good cause the line got long inside. East coast burgers sold in bulk. To be honest I've never even thought of asking to just buy one. I've enjoyed the sliders and full size burgers. Love the loaded fries. Several steps up from McDonald's or Burger King. There are several locations throughout Vegas. I hit this one on a road trip to California. Definitely good grub for a road trip. read more

Stopped by since White Castle seems to be a cult classic and favorite. Went to his particular location because it wasn't too crowded. Placed our order on the original sliders. The food took forever..i mean most of the workers were just standing around..and there were a few groups waiting for the sliders to be cooked and assembled. It's an open kitchen, so you can just see the workers take their sweet time and just kind of look around. We finally get the sliders..there's a teeny sliver of a meat..which I guess is the standard for White Castle? Everything just tasted bland and not appetizing. Would not recommend. read more
