We have been going to white castle for years. Am excited that they opened a location in our area (next closest one is in Greenbrook, NJ). White Castle burgers are great. For the people who were "sick" I would say try less next time. They are called "sliders" and "belly bombers" for a reason. If you eat too much you'll get a "cleaning". Me and my sister came at 4:30, only two cars in the parking lot, and we went through the drive through. Took us 20 minutes to get our food, and the ladies inside were dancing and smiling and not paying attention to us or our order. Service sucked and the ladies were emotionless when talking to us and it was overall an awful experience. Not a bad fast food place. Especially nice prices with nothing really costing more than 10$, and the place was kept fairly clean. The food was so-so, the mozzarella sticks (2$) 3/5 tastes a little worse than the microwavable frozen ones. Sweet potato fries, (like 3$) 2/5 tastes like soggy sweet potato fries, you're better off getting moral fries. We made a road trip and drove two hours to get to the closest White Castle! It didn't fail to entice us! Though the ordering process was a bit slow, it was definitely worth the wait. The burgers were steamed to perfection. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The piece d'resistance came at the end of the meal with the chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick! Soooooo good. My hips will thank this establishment for not being closer to my home (it is about 5 hours from home). So good we ordered a crave case of 30 to take home with us! On the downside, the place was so messy. I don't think the floor had been swept the whole day and all of the tables needed a good wipe down. read more

This was my first White Castle experience and I've been waiting to try it for some time. When we went up to order, there seemed to be minimal staff, but the place was almost empty, so it wasn't that big of a deal. They maybe could have used one more person though because the person taking dining room orders was also taking drive through orders and was very distracted. I got almost one of every slider they had. Most seemed pretty average, but I did like the Western BBQ chicken slider, the Bacon Cheddar chicken slider, and the bacon cheese slider. We had two separate app orders and when they realized we were together they made it easier and put the food together and it was accurate minus one thing they forgot but they immediately remedied politely. The hype behind this place is completely misleading. I'm a burger connoisseur and I have never been to a White Castle before as there are none near me. To start, the service was slower than turtles. We went inside to order for the experience, and we're not let down. The place looked clean, fresh, and modern. However the bathrooms were unkempt and unsanitary looking. Despite all these first impressions, I was eager to start the meal. I ordered a 1 plain with cheese. What I opened out of the bag as 4 sliders super wet, mushy, and tasteless. The patties were so thin they were almost non existent. The only thing I tasted was mush. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. The only thing that saved this review was the French fries. Been to this location twice now. I'm a fan of White Castle, and find that they're the perfect late night snack. I've only gone in the AM hours (around 2 to 3am) but have found the staff to be very pleasant, quick service and generous with napkins. The food is standard White Castle fare. You LOVE it or you hate it... there is no in between. Their burgers are amazing, the fries are delicious crinkle-style and their chicken rings are always worth getting. And their chicken and fish alternatives are really solid, too. Only downside (and I'm not sure if it's just THIS White Castle) is the onion rings have been completely overly saturated, noodly and kinda lacking. Went down at lunchtime and waited 30 mins in line which was expected with a new location. got my Crave case and went on my way. Was really expecting a lot from the infamous White Castle, but they failed to please. My mother and I went a few days ago and had such high hopes, until I actually got my order. The cheeseburger was about 1/4 of that of a standard McDonald's burger; the portions are TOO small. Paid $9 for two burgers, two puny fries, and drinks so huge they could last for days. OK, broke down and went. Grew up on Little Tavern and White Castle. Went around 6 pm on 11/20. Line was not bad at all. Unfortunately, it is now a "been there, done that". Won't go back. Not worth it. Flat square patty (and I do mean FLAT), no flavor. update: 11/21 Just found out from my husband that the hammies did not sit at all well with him. He wasn't sick (like Steve C and his buddies), but barely made it to the john in time. Tummy was not happy. For Miss W, what did you expect going the week-end WC opens? You were lucky it was only 1/2 hour to place your order. Yes, everyone and their uncle were there, including my son and his friends and they had to wait an hour (of course, ordering 20 pp didn't help any...). Oh, warning! Right now parking and traffic off MacArthur Blvd is terrible! Park in the Home Depot parking lot and you will get exit more quickly. They still have people directing traffic. This was my first time at a White Castle, and my friends and I were very excited, we drove for an hour to try some sliders for ourselves. Opun arrival, we were astounded at the gleaming White Castle sign. We entered the store. The restaurant wasn't astoundingly clean but that's not something I necessarily care about so I looked past it. The gentleman who served us was very polite and helpful. The rest of the staff was also helpful and funny as well. I got a number one with a coke, and it was pretty decent and filling. The burgers werent incredible but tasty paired with some sauce. The first time my son and I went here we thought was just a one off, because we both came home and had upset stomach's. The place looked deserted. After almost 2 years we went back thinking things would have changed for the better, and we had to wait almost 25 minutes behind the car in front to get to the collection window. They asked me three times if I had ordered iced tea and I said yes I had. 10 minutes later I was told only half our order was ready and to pull forward and park and someone will bring us the rest. Nothing happened for 15 minutes and when we will walked in the employee was just coming out with the two barbecue brisket sliders but no sign of the ice tea, for which we had to go back in and obtain. All in all we must've spent over 40 minutes at the drive-through of a fast food chain. Service was pathetic. One employee even seemed more concerned with eating, rather than working efficiently to get orders delivered. The special barbecue brisket slider turned out to be cold. And the chicken sliders and the original sliders were a total disappointment. Seemed undercooked and soggy. The fries seemed to have been cooked in a microwave and were terrible. Wouldn't you know my son can home and has an upset stomach again and I just threw my food away. Avoid this place at all costs. Will never go back again!!!!!!! This is the long awaited White Castle- I couldn't wait to go and experience my childhood nostalgia. This White Castle is the first in the Lehigh Valley and I guess everyone else along with their children, grandmother, great grand mother and great great grandmother was excited as I for when I arrived I had to wait about 30 minutes, yes you did not read that wrong a HALF HOUR just to place my order. Which at a fast food place is totally unreasonable- that is what knocked off 2 stars. Once I finally received my order it was as good as I had expected.
