Two eggs breakfast with grits 6/21/2025
    Jaewoo S.

Saturday around 7pm. It was slow. Only two-three other tables besides us. Sun was shining and we were exposed to the bright sunlight through all glass walls. The service was fast. Got the two eggs breakfast with grits. My girlfriend said the grits were cooked very well. Overall, we were satisfied, two people dinner for approximately $30 and the portions were huge!!!

Someone was fighting in the parking lot at I walked in. Half way through my meal the fight went from the parking lot to inside the restaurant. The staff became angry and started to hit them with mops. Both men then started trying to fight the staff. One jumped on a table and tried to jump on an employee, the employee then caught them and threw them through the table. I didn't want to be a part of this, I simply just wanted some waffles after driving up from Brooklyn. Keep in mind despite the fight my waffles still came out great. Waffle House forever.

First time trying waffle house after stumbling upon it while driving through Allentown. We were able to seat ourselves right away at a booth and the waiter came right over, but we needed a few minutes to decide. The waiter got our drinks quickly and the food service was very fast. We ordered a philly cheesesteak hash brown bowl, a waffle, sweet tea, and a bacon egg and cheese plate. The restaurant had a gradual flow of people coming and going on Saturday during lunch. Fast, cheap, and average quality - what I'd expect from a fast food diner. Wish the waffles were crispy.

I love a Waffle House! For some reason there are only two in Pennsylvania and I was lucky enough to hit up one of them today. Food came out quick and exactly as ordered. Also appreciated their house sugar free syrup. Why can't there be more waffle houses in PA!

It's Saturday morning and you've got a 4-5 hr drive in front of you. You plan to get up early to get a good start in front of any traffic, and of course plot to see if there's a Waffle House anywhere en route. Wheeeeee! There is! I pretty much almost always order the same thing - two eggs over easy with white toast, the hash browns, bacon - extra crispy please, and coffee. I can't complain - everything was served as I wanted and the server was super friendly. The only downside to the entire experience was that this location is perched in the most awkward slice of concrete around a busy traffic intersection, with very limited parking. Park carefully, but I promise it's worth it.

Didn't have any problems here, exactly what I would expect a Waffle House would/should be. Waitress was polite and as attentive as possible given how busy it was. Nice that it's open 24/7 hard to find quality food after hours but this location definitely pulled through. Everything tasted amazing and if you're ever in the area I would highly recommend dining in (we also really enjoyed the bar seating)

Always a pleasure when visiting Waffle House ! Had the signature waffle which was great an I never had a faster service ! I was in town visiting so I can't visit as much but I'll definitely be back ! Portions are small but it's a great spot for a quick light breakfast

Had not been to one in a decade and I finally said have to try it. The staff was very polite and attentive and the establishment was clean. The food came out quickly and like most others say, it is delicious. Definitely going back again.

Waffle House waffles have my heart. It would really take a lot for a Waffle House to disappoint me. But of course service, location and cleanliness are always a major factor in my reviews. This location was extremely convenient, located not far off of I-78. Although it is not the largest location I've ever been to, it is by far the cleanest. Staff was super welcoming and our waitress was excellent. Food is exactly what you expect from a Waffle House.

Bring in a sweater or a small blanket because it's freezing in there! Otherwise it's your normal Waffle House! And if you've ever been to Waffle House, you know what the deal is! The service was spotty but that's to be expected here. The food was hot and delicious and of course cheap as ever. Mask wearing and social distancing is out of the window here so keep that in mind. Other than it being extremely cold in the restaurant, my experience at this location was decent.

Visited this particular WH in 2012 and again today and it's still a great Waffle House experience. Love the consistency and the niceness of the staff. They make your bacon crispy if you ask and man oh man I love the hash browns! Although capped (mushrooms) isn't on the menu anymore they still know what you mean when you say it! Lemonade was actually amazing and had bits of lemon in it! Bathrooms were super clean and it's easy on and off the highway but it's definitely in a congested area.

Let me start off by saying I LOVE waffle houses, and it is such a treat to go to one since there are none by me. My boyfriend and I came here while on vacation. The food took a while to come out; but we are understanding that a lot of places are short staffed right now so that didn't bother us. The food was awesome (per usual) when it did come. However, the service was poor at this location. Our server wasn't attentive or friendly at all. I actually saw a couple sit, not be greeted by anyone, and eventually get up and leave. Tables had dirty dishes all over them, and no one cleaned them up, or took the dishes away. They just pushed them to the side and sat customers at tables with dirty dishes. In my picture you can see in the top corner dirty dishes of people that were sitting there before us that were never taken away... Food was 5/5, but service was a solid 1/5.

The staff is always friendly and on top of it--no eye contact avoidance, no "I'll be right back" disappearing acts. Just solid service from people who seem genuinely happy you're there. Now the food: the wings are legit. Crispy, saucy, and dangerous in the "I should stop but absolutely will not" way. The burgers are equally guilty. Juicy, flavorful, and gone way too fast. Every time I come here I say, "I'll try something different," and every time I fail because the wings and burgers win again. And let's talk TVs. They're everywhere. Behind you. In front of you. Possibly in the bathroom (unconfirmed, but wouldn't be shocked). Perfect for watching a game without craning your neck or negotiating channel control with strangers. Bottom line: Great food, great people, great place to park yourself for a game and accidentally stay way longer than planned. Copperhead Grille delivers every time.

I grew up on the East Side of Allentown, so I've been coming to Stahley's for as long as I can remember. When I heard it had changed ownership, I was curious to see what, if anything, was different, and whether the food still held up to the Stahley's I've known for years. Walking through the front door, the interior looked just as I remembered, unchanged and familiar. I really hope they keep it that way. The menu has been updated, but they've kept the steamed clams and cheesesteaks, the dishes I come here for. The clams haven't changed a bit, same size, same $5.75 a dozen price, and still served with rich brown butter. The cheesesteak is also right on par, still served with peppers, pickles, and sauce. My only gripe is the roll, as it didn't hold up. I also tried the wings, and they were bigger and better than before. A few more minutes in the fryer, and they would have been perfect. My friend ordered the grilled chicken Caesar wrap with fries. Since she gets it all the time at Sibri's, she knew she wouldn't be disappointed. The service was solid. We were seated immediately, and our server Sondra took great care of us. There are a few minor kinks to work out, but I think the new owners are doing a great job so far.

We haven't been to downtown Allentown since shopping at Hess Brothers back in the day. The area was clean, updated, transformed, modern, full of folks mulling through the streets. If I had not googled restaurants near the venue, I wouldn't be aware of such a nice variety. We decided to dine at Max & Butters down the boulevard, tucked sideways on the lower level of the building. We entered, staff greeted us and since prior reservations took up all the tables, we sat at the bar which allowed us to engage with staff and so, we met the hostess Lara, rockstar servers Raul and Paige and ultimately chief cook and kitchen magician, MARTA. What a delight to view the entire cooking area where the flames were a 1/2 foot high over the commercial stove, frying bacon, eggs and all the breakfast goodies, the smells wafting throughout. Not sure why the complaints are expressed. In real honesty, unless the bowl of ramens (is that plural?) are teleported straight from Japan - not going to expect a lot. Which is even more noteworthy to mention that food-wise, there's a nice variety to choose from, whether you're craving something rich and comforting or lighter and more balanced. Ramen does not have to be the one, all the time. (Even though the winter season makes it more satiating to have ramen.) I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.
