Every time they come out, I end up having more bugs than before they treated the house. The biggest problem I have is that I still have bugs, when I asked for the entire lawn to be treated for ants or fleas I was told they can only treat in a corrective fashion not a preventative one. Why am I paying for bug service if I'm only getting things corrected and not prevented? I have tried to cancel them and they want me to pay a fee because they gave me a discount for my first visit. No matter what I do, even if I move, I have to pay the balance of my contract or what they consider a contract which I didn't even know existed. When I tried to explain I thought I was given a price sheet and schedule, I was told that's my contract and I have to stand by it. These people are rude and not willing to help in anyway. He asked for my name, I did not give it to him. He tried to get me to sign a contract for service on his Ipad, I wanted to read the entire contract. He got agitated that I actually wanted to read the contract. He stated it was a standard contract and it was the usual blah blah blah. I still wanted to read it. He left. DO NOT use this company!!! This one of the most unethical and sketchy companies that I have ever done business with and their services are not great either. For one thing you never get the same technician to service your yard so the quality is not consistent. Also they market themselves as a small and local business, offering quality and one on one customer service which I can promise you is not the case. Then if, and when, you decide to cancel they make it impossible! It took months for me to able to cancel our account after multiple emails and requests. Every agent/employee I spoke with was equally unhelpful and repeatedly told me the same thing: "you have to speak with one of our customer advocates". The only problem with that is that you can NEVER get ahold of a "customer advocate" so you have to keep calling back, sit on hold forever and even if they say they will call you... they won't. Once I was finally able to cancel our account I was then charged for an appointment that I HAD NO IDEA was scheduled!! They refused to refund my money and told me I could not even speak to another agent or supervisor. I spoke with someone name "Dominic" who explained me the service and the price but before the scheduled service I was suppose to sign 12 months agreement which was $80 more than what we agreed on. 1. I tried calling with questions regarding $80 but I was only able to get hold of "Dominic" via text. He said he will call me but he never did. 2. He said "his boss will call me" but nobody has called me yet. 3. Why promise one price and charge another price? I read the "fine prints"...many people don't. I'm a new customer to White Knight Pest Control but have had a great experience so far. I called two days ago to set up service and today they came by to do initial visit (interior and exterior spray). The gentleman I spoke to on the phone (trey) was super helpful and explained everything and then some about the costs, how often they come, what they check for, process, etc. I appreciate that they use products that are safe for children. Jeremy came by today, on time and was extremely professional and did a great job. After his work there was no odor or weird residue in my house. 9jul24 a white knight salesman came to my house and offered me services. he said no contract and the first service is $99 and then its $139 every other month after that. Later that day I was charge $139 on my credit card. I have called the company multiple times after that trying to get it fixed and they were not willing to give me back the $40 I was over charged. I told them to cancel my services and that I wouldn't do business with them any more. the woman told me that I had a 1 year contract and if I canceled it I would be charge the full undiscounted $340 for the first service. If I could score lower, I would. This company is a scam. Very good salespeople who make promises they do not deliver on. I was trapped into a contract and could not get out until they stole my money. They were working with me to fix the issue, but in a year, they came out 21 times until management got involve with no resolution. Management (John Branch) and VP (Steve Wonder) did nothing about the issues and cancelled the contract without notice and washed their hand of it. I had to remove the spider eggs off the patio and the issues was resolved. After being ghosted for weeks, I called several times to get ahold of them and Management were very rude and unprofessional. A salesman came to the house. I had actually been looking in to getting treatment set up so I arrange for a treatment the next week. They wanted a credit card, I said I would not be giving any information until service was performed. I sent 2 emails the day before my 1st treatment was to be done (was scheduled for noon on a Tuesday) the salesman said I would need to be present because the service guy would not do treatment if I was not there since they needed payment right then. I was not home that day, got an email and a bill. Have talked to several people in their office. Said would not cancel without a call. I called, emailed and texted. They keep billing me and telling me to call. I will be reaching out to the BBB and MN attorney general's office. They won't stop. Pro tip here: This company gives free 're-services' on quarterly plans, so sign up for the quarterly plan, and if you still have a bug problem after they spray - they will come out the next month for free in between quarterly appointments. So no need to sign up for the bi-monthly plan. They took care of our field mice problem and most of the insects. We were in a new development. There was literally a line of dead bugs on my back porch two days after they sprayed. Try to schedule when there is no rain forecasted for maximum effect. We still had some ants and they came out again for free the month after our quarterly appt. Texas ants are persistent, but with free re-services they will get taken care of. read more

This "company" is a complete scam and is obviously only afloat based on cancelation fees they charge you based on them not complying with their obligations to the contract and then gaslight you in to being the problem. No call until 48 hours later I get a text they will be out next day on a day I work. I try to call and reschedule for a day I'm off and I get yelled at like a child and it's my fault? Are you kidding me?! Told to deal with my appointment that they gave or cancel. And told if their service schedule doesn't fit my life then I should cancel my service and just pay them the $350 fee and be done with them. I can't even make this stuff up! Completely floored. I will be reporting to the BBB. This type of behavior is absolutely insane. You have no right, contract or not, to treat people this way. Verbally abuse clientel. I've had so many issues with this company. I signed up for bimonthly service last May and I don't think there has been one month that I have not had to call back for a reservice. In previous months they for some reason only want to service the outside of your home so they treat outside and have to be called backed to treat inside. (no I do not have a pest control issue but the reason I pay to have my house serviced bimonthly is because I do not want to end up with a pest control problem. I make custom cakes from home so having a bug and rodent free home is important to me). Another month this company had the nerve to charge my card for service when it was thunderstorming outside and again did not feel the need to treat inside. How the heck they treat the outside of a home when it's raining all day is beyond me. Then there was this month....I was guaranteed a $25 discount off of this month's service because after last service I tried to cancel and buy out the remaining service's on my contract just to be done with this company, but of course I was still charged the full amount for this month's partial service. Then yesterday when the lady came to service my house I was on a very important conference call at work and declined the call thinking that they'd ring the freaking door bell cause I made sure my daughter was there to open the door for them for when they came, but nope the doorbell was not rang. I'm so over this company. Please spare yourself the problems and hire someone else. UPDATE: I called to see about getting my $25 credit that was promised to me off of this month's service and for not canceling my service with this company and was treated horribly by the advocacy dept. The company doesn't honor it. The customer service gentleman I spoke with giggles as he said if you can't pay the fee then i will cancel your account and you can take it up with collections. The tech that visits every quarter, is consistently thorough and is someone we can be sure will visit us each and every quarter as well as whenever we have need for special attention to an issue outside of the quarterly service. They had just recently come out and I was due to pay 3 monthly payments for service. I decided to pay the full balance that day and be done with it. Fast forward 2 months I notice I was still being charged monthly also. I called and told them of this and they said they would refund the 2 months of double payments. I didn't even plan to leave a review when I decided to cancel my service a couple of months ago but today, after a battle with them I must share. I entered into a 1 year agreement with them in October 2019 that shows my last payment being in September 2020. Woke up this morning and they had the nerve to charge me, after I let them know I was cancelling back in August. Upon speaking with them, they tried to convince me that the October payment was for August services and how I had received 7 services and had only paid for half of the last one. Mind you, the service agreement also shows 7 services (identified with an "S") and the last subscription amount being in September during this period but I spoke with more than 1 person who tried to tell me that I owed. After I had to "get ugly" with them which I hate to do, they rudely asked if I was closing my account and that they would refund me. I waited on the phone for the email to confirm just in case they would try to pull another fast one. Now that I think about it, they called me in August and offered me a "complimentary" service to keep me and promised $10 off the next bill, which they did not even honor. Moreover, while I saw a decrease in pest initially, their service became tacky, thus I saw an increase in pests. I called to cancel my service the moment I got a text that they would be coming out tomorrow (less than 24 hour notice of service) and was told it has to be done 30 days in advance. When I asked how that's possible if a less-than-24-hour heads up is given, I was told, "well to be fair, it is a quarterly contract." These guys try to squish the appointments closer to 2 months than 3 (my last appointment was end of July, its currently the first of October, prior that the July appointment was a May appointment), so to be fair, that was a false statement.
