While courteous and professional, in my opinion their services aren't worth the money. I ended up having to service my home multiple times for ants in between the 2 months they service. They say you can just call and schedule additional services but then you have to reschedule your life to point out the areas they should have already addressed. One of my big issues are their sales team and flyers saying they protect against termites. In reality, termites are subterranean and any actual protection requires excavation. Their basic protection only sprays surfaces but they offer an "insurance" for additional cost. I thought I was protecting my home from termites but didn't find out until their first service when I spoke to the technician. It felt like a misrepresentation. Another issue was the attic treatments. The sales and flyers say they kill wasps and bugs in the attic. I thought this was a plus because my attic is too hot and hard to get around in. I imagined they would spray all the corners and identify problem plus remove anything they find. The technician only goes up on the ladder stands there and shoots this "dust" into all directions from the ladder. They say this reaches all the corners and kills everything. So if you have a wasp nest they dont find it or remove it, the dust spray is all they do. The last highlight is their "contract" fee if you decide to cancel. They tell you they discount something like 70% of from the initial ~$200 fee, as long as you keep the yearly services. I agree with that but if the customer isn't happy with the services they shouldn't be expected to pay full price for the cancellation. When I cancelled, they still charged me about $165. I asked for a credit of one service $70 to account for all the pesticide I had to buy and install under their contract. They declined and instead offered a $25 credit from a future service if I decided to stay on. They claimed I didn't give them enough time to go back and reservice the problem areas. It think it's unfair because I was not satisfied with their original service so getting more of the same was not going to help my yard. Bottom line, you can save time and about $400 per year by doing it yourself. Like they tell you, if anything "serious" comes up like termites or special bugs they will charge you extra. So keep an eye on it and wait to see if it happens. 2/28/17 Updated response to White Knights comment on my picture: When I was unhappy with the service white knight charged me $165 cancellation fee. In your comment you say you will make it right. Ok. So don't think it is too late to refund the cancellation fee. I'll update this when or if I get the cancellation fee back. If someone comes to your door representing this company, practice due diligence, the sales representatives that show up in your neighborhood are NOT trustworthy! Make certain you receive physical copies of any agreements, and do not tell them your name if you do not plan on committing to services, because these sales representatives WILL sign things for you!! We agreed to three months of service through one of these door to door sales representatives. We still had the same issues after the spraying, Paper wasps, Fire ants and spiders...So when my husband called to cancel, we found out this door to door sales representative for White Knight lied and had signed us up for a years contract! When we found this out, we argued and had the misfortune of dealing with Steven Wonder from White Knight Pest Control company's, customer service management team. He is a HORRIBLE example of customer service, and a genuinely unkind person! He insisted this was because myself and my husband were in some way incompetent. He never even entertained the possibility that a sales representative lied to make a sale! He then strong armed my husband into paying a $75 cancellation fee and told us he was doing us a favor! I was livid! This whole mess was a scam! I took this argument all the way to corporate for White Knight, and I was apologized to for the way Steve Wonder treated my husband and myself and for the situation. We were told this is not how they do business, and we would have the cancellation fee dismissed. Currently my service with white Night is very bad. They scheduled all the time when I'm not home to allow them in. I alway get notified the night before my service. I've requested to cancel service can't no longer afford it. The last appt date that I received wasn't given a time I thought they would show up at around the same time as my previous appt, and when they didn't I decided to cancel the service. Five minutes after I cancelled the guy showed up at my door. The last appointments were a huge headache. I looked them on the BBB and found they're not a part of it. No surprise. So far, so great! I'm impressed with the responsiveness of customer service and everyone has followed up with my requests amazingly from day 1. We requested particular services to be done each visit, and the salesman (Dan) made notes about them on the contract. After agreeing to the contract, we got a copy emailed over to us... except i never received it. Dan made sure to follow up many times and sent it multiple ways until I got what I wanted in writing...THEN, for the next visit, I emailed with another request, got an answer immediately, and they actually followed thru with no issues. Although that may not seem like a big deal, it is. Not many companies are that geared toward great customer service these days...too many false promises. I started service with them before the pandemic, they talked a big game and said they'd get all the insects and spiders and things. I gave in, after my first treatment I wasn't happy. Called and was told that it wouldn't work the first time, I'd have to get it sprayed again for it to work-- no charge but definitely took up my time. I still wanted to cancel and the woman I spoke to was very rude and made sure I knew if I wanted to cancel I was going to have to pay more than what I was paying for the initial service. So now, I got my house serviced three times since then. Still terrible, even though they can't come inside I'm still paying full price for something that doesn't work. I do not recommend this pest control service. When I am able to cancel I will never trust another pest control service again, I believe I can do a better job myself. There's more bugs in and outside of my home than before I started the service. I was blindsided by a nice salesman into signing up for this service which I figured would be useful as we had moved into a new house and it did have some unwanted pests. The first time they came they inspected and treated both the inside and outside of the home. They left and I was satisfied hoping to see less pest activity but that was not the case. Like other people I was informed that after one time I would in fact see more activity as the pests are coming out of their nests. I thought that made sense. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but their treatment NEVER worked. After I called during the pandemic to get inside treatment since they are only doing outside and that was not enough for these pests, they came and did a treatment that was supposed to be effective for 6 months. It was not. A can of Raid has proven to be way better and only $4! Their cancellation fee is ridiculous since their start up "is such a good deal." This is the worst experience ever. First the sales person lied about the service the tech would perform. The tech showed up and said he would only spray the attic in the garage not the attics in the house. Then the tech treated the whole yard. When he started to spray the perimeter of the house is where everything started to really get bad. The tech literally sprayed everything in sight, smoker, back patio furniture, front patio furniture, dog kennel in garage, sneakers, brand new motorcycle, garage stored sports car.... if it was there he sprayed it. I called the sales person and complained, he immediately called the tech. Before I could get back outside the tech just left without finishing the rest of the job. I then called office and spoke to a manager. He cancelled any further services but didn't refund the money for the service that wasn't even completed. The following day I had another sales person show up at my door to see if there was anything they could do to make things right. My response was simple, GET OFF MY PROPERTY!!! White Knight representative, Steven, is here at my house this morning doing the initial pest control. He was on time and is doing an excellent job. In fact he is the most thorough pest control rep that I have ever had in any of the several states that I have lived in. They not only spray the entire foundation, they treat the entire yard with granules. And they dust the weep holes around the entire house. They have the sticky traps to place near the garage door where there are gaps between the door in the floor. Those catch bugs, Mice, and even snakes he said. Impressive! Finally, they put out monitors on each side of the house to determine if there is termite activity. I highly recommend this company. Actually I found out about them from a neighbor who has been using them for three years and is also extremely pleased with their service. read more

I live in a brand new construction community, and a man came up to my house to telling me that he is the one of the owners of White Knight and that they were doing a complementary service for new customers and that I would be charged quarterly if I wanted to proceed. He asked me to send him some information, then I get an email showing that he forged my signature and initials on a service agreement. I immediately called him and told him that was not ok and I should've taken that as a sign of what kind of company this was.They came out and did a service but I was still seeing bugs a few weeks afterwards. I told him that I wanted to cancel and he told me he could cancel with no issue since he's the owner. Never mentioned a cancellation fee. I waited for about a month to see if there was any change, and since there wasn't I asked if I can go ahead and cancel and was told that I would be charged over $200 for a cancellation fee since there was a discount on the first services. The man told me that the first services were free for being a new customer. He also told me he was a part owner, which was found out to be a lie. This company is a scam, do not use them they have very shady business practices and don't disclose everything to their customers. Very Misleading company. Their salesman come into an neighborhood saying that they will give a discount rate of 100.00 and you will only have to pay $50 for this service because another customer cancel and they need to fill the slot. I gave them a chance and told the sales man that if I don't think I'm being offered the service that he mention, then I will call to cancel. Salesman said we want you to give them 12months but if I feel like they didn't offer then I can cancel. Tec came out treated the area. Enter in their report saying they treated certain areas like interior, attic but they didn't have access inside the house so that a lie. I called for a retreat of service so they can treat the area weee not treat and was charged for another service. I contact corporate to cancel and they said I signed a 12 month contract and their is a cancellation fee of 150. I asked why Is their a cancellation fee when the service I paid for was not offered. They said the discount rate was for signing up for 12months. But the salesman said the discount rate was because another customer cancel and they need to fill in that slot for that day and will give a discount and will only charge $50 for the service. So their salesman are misleading customers into $50 discount for another customer canceling that day but failing to say the discount for for signing up for 12 months. Which is not true because the company wants to come back out within 30days for a follow up treatment at normal fee. White Knight pest refused to waive or discount the cancellation fee claiming that they can't. Be aware people when signing up with White knight. read more

This company is fraudulent. A door salesman came to my home with a price of 49.99 and told me that the service was quarterly and l could cancel at anytime. I was then charged 123 for the next service less then a month from the first service. When I called the company and told them I wanted to cancel I got no response. They never came for the next service. I was able to get in contact with someone from customer service and l was told l could not cancel and they charged me. The first lady I spoke with was rude about it when I tried to tell her the salesperson never told me about a cancellation fee; told her I wouldn't have signed up had I known there was a cancellation fee and they said they called and told my wife (she's not the one that signed the contract, I did). The second lady I got ahold of said she'd look into it for me and I never heard back. The third lady basically said it was in the contract they sent me and the phone call to my wife was their other excuse. Feel like they should make that clear up front but they don't. I'm taking care of my next door neighbor and yesterday the tech came and only spray the front part of the house when he suppose to spray the around the house. We told my neighbor since she's out of town and she call so the can come today. They came I spoke to the tech and told him what happen and he told me that the house wasn't mine (when I told him that I'm taking care of the house and the neighbor told me to inspect they're job since they did a very poor job yesterday) and he slam the door on my face. I tried to talk to him and he was holding the pesticide hose in a threading way. I call the company and the didn't want me to talk to the manager because that wasn't my home. So as long as is not job related they won't talk to you , they can spit on you or slam the door call you an asshole but if your not a customer or taking care of the house they won't talk to you. I had White Knight's service in Austin, TX when I previously lived there. Now living in Houston I still have the same great service, but better! Johnny came out last and he was so respectful, helpful, educating and did more than I have ever had any of the other techs do. Here is an example of their bad practices. Initial charge $350 Initial discount $250 What you pay initially $100. 30 days from initial service they charge you again. Keep in mind their contract states free re-treatment. I called white knight to explain and cancel my service. The rep. stated they will charge me $250 to cancel my service. You pay initial charge of $100 and then 30 days later they come out and spray again. Guess what another $100 charge. If you have a satisfaction concern and want to cancel, they make you pay the discount they offered $250. Does it really cost $350 initially to just spray around my house. SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY!!!  We started our service in June, the tech was scheduled to come out June 29th..... he showed up unprepared and only did a partial job. He said he would be back in 2 days.  He never showed, when we called, we were given excuses and rescheduled for July 3rd.  The morning of July 3 the tech called to cancel stating that he did not have any product to do our mosquito shield treatment. We waited a few days to hear from WK, but no call ever came.  So, we once again called the office trying to figure something out,  It was about this time when I also tried calling the owner with no luck.  Then on the third appointment (after numerous phone calls, and some rude customer service people) they sent a manager out on July 7 to finally finish the first job. So, I paid for June service that I didn't receive until July, and then I paid for July service that I did not receive at all because they stated that they just did my service in July. I also received an email stating that I would be charged a $10 fee for a re-servicing fee, from when the manager came to finish the original job. Then, they said had me scheduled for August 23, but weren't going to come because we were talking about canceling our service.  So I've paid for multiple months of service and only received once. We have been calling and asking numerous times to speak with a manager about this issue, we are always told that somebody will call us back but then never does, and as we wait for our "call back" we are being charged late fees for not paying our bill that we are disputing.  When we try to dispute charges and explain our unhappiness with the situation we are then told that because we want to break contract early that we have to pay additional fees. I feel that it is not us breaking contract but, White Knight. They are failing to show up and perform their job the proper way, and still expect me to continue paying a monthly service that I'm not receiving, and then charge me cancellation fees for breaking contract. read more

I left an earlier review of four stars as our first treatment was good. However recently, I requested that they return to retreat as we are still seeing far too many bugs. Richard is a great tech. However they sent someone else this day. It is in my profile that I am supposed to receive a phone call when they are on the way. I did not get a call from this man or anyone else. When I asked why the guy got a nasty attitude. He said I had an appointment window of 8am - 10am and that should be good enough. But that is not for him to decide. Nor is it for him to be nasty when I merely asked a simple question. I ask for this notice because I am disabled. I do not get around easily. Id like the notification so I can put my dogs up out of the way and ensure I'm dressed and up. But it doesn't matter really. I asked them to notify me, they said they would but didn't do it. Period. I told the guy it wasn't good enough and I'd be calling someone to find out why I wasn't called first. He continued to have an attitude. I told him this was not going too well, we're not getting off to a great start here. He said he didn't need to take my crap and left. He NEVER did anything to service or treat my home. Nothing. He in fact cursed me out while walking to his truck. I was not necessarily blaming him as maybe they didn't inform him that he needed to call first? But he also had no reason to be so rude to me. I'm not sure who he was as he was not my regular technician. But he has absolutely no business being in customer service oriented business of any kind as clearly he can not deal with people with any kind of respect. I do not and will not pay any company to come to my house and insult me! I will be canceling my service with them. Which I'm sure will not go over well either? I've had two treatments at my house so far and we have more bugs now than we used to have. We didn't have very many initially. But heavy rain drove some inside. So I signed up for pest control. Odd that I now have more bugs than before being treated. Yes, I get that activity will increase the first few weeks but it's been three months and we are crawling with bugs whereas we used to only have a rare few that climbed in through the drainage pipes. Would not recommend! Even after they spray we still have bugs. I have them come out every couple weeks even though they say it protects for up to 3 months and we still see spiders/earwings/ants. I originally signed up with them explaining we have rodents under our outside deck and asked if that's included. Dominique assured me it's included in the service no extra charge. That's not true. Sticky pads are and everything else is an up charge. If my deck is outside and it's constantly raining what is sticky pads going to do for me. Poor communication, I rarely get a curtesy call when requested, each technician is different and apparently all trained differently because they all contradict the one before, and when I asked to cancel my service since the gentleman lied to me when I signed up and now I'm in contract they want me to pay $70 to get out! I been with the company over a year and I can't complain at first we did have a Little Rock in the road with the first tech , but technician Armando has taken care of us ever since and I wouldn't change him for anything he is very knowledgeable and genuine and very quick to the point I have had spider issues even mice in the garage due to the Forest behind us and thank to them in a month I was mice less thanks to white knight I was afraid because my home is a new construction and I was worried for them to come in the home thankfully I can't complain because spider ,silver fish , mice ,snake , and earwigs free I'm blessed !
