Some of the drinks and food took awhile, but surprisingly it was not the deep dish pizza they mentioned would take longer (that actually came out first!). I wish the caesar salad was chopped up. Every single time I try and order for pickup the online store says that it's not taking any orders at this time. I always try and order during business hours so I just don't understand why I can't spend my money and order food for pickup at the Denver location. I was visiting Denver this weekend to see my sister for a few days and we came in for last minute Friday night HH. Lauren took care of us and she was so sweet and the service was absolutely amazing. Food was also 10/10 we got the Caprese bites to start & oh my godddd!!! Brussels and Caesar salad next and omg the both also didn't disappoint. We ordered pickup and it wasn't the best experience. There was a single person working the host counter. They were on a phone call with a customer so everyone had to wait to be helped, which was long enough that the couple in front of me got really frustrated. My order was ready but they ran out of the cannoli I wanted. I told them which I would prefer instead and that took another 10 minutes to put together. This place has really evolved since it first opened. It has added a lot of delicious morsels to the menu that you wouldn't expect from a pizza place like a burger and chicken fingers/fries. Be sure to ask what flavor of Froze they are offering. When it comes to pizza, they have two different kinds; they are known for a New Haven style and they also have a deeper dish Sicilian style that have some really interesting and tasty combinations. Been here manyyyyy times over the years. And while it changes - it only gets better! Start with the black walnut old fashioned, along with the house greens and a side of fries. We heard, "it's my favorite restaurant in the city", "it's our go-to date night", or what I was the most curious about "it's the best pizza, hands down." Now. Pizza is my favorite food, people. I do not take statements like the last one lightly. Instead, I become as serious as a Film Noir detective and start investigating. Typically, that just means going to eat there ASAP! Unfortunately, it took a bit longer to crack this case. For months, we kept trying to make it in but our plans would change last minute. However, finally we went to check out the scene. From the beginning, it had all the clues of being exactly what the masses told us. It's a big, open cool vibe with tables for all sizes and a cool rounded bar if you just wanted to stop in alone. We were greeted by a super friendly, kind and down-to-earth hostess who also ended up being our waitress. She kept it 100P with us on what to order with it being our first time. She even surprised us with a free round of their House Meatballs! These were a delicious predecessor to the pizza. They gave you a hint of the quality that White Pie dishes out. Instantly, I became locked into their House Red sauce. The classic Italian marinara completely entranced our souls like a femme fatale character; dangerously good. The pizzas came out hot like a police chase, one after the other. The Fromage a Trois (which just sounds like an old school black and white film) was a white Neapolitan pie. It had Roasted Garlic Creme Fraiche, Brie, Mozzarella, Swiss, Caramelized Onions, Pecorino, Oregano. Finished with Smoked Salt and Parsley. My husband thought it was an instant classic! The Porky Porkorino was a red Neapolitan pie. It had House Red, Mozzarella, Sopressata, Pecorino, Oregano, Pickled Chiles, Hot Honey aka it was just the right amount of heat n' sweet. The service was friendly and attentive - truly one of things that makes me a customer for life. We ordered the Rocco and the SoHo Sleeper. The Rocco is thin crust, and hella fresh. The Soho is like foccaccia delightfulness with sauce. I started with their strawberry cannoli which was airy, and sweet. I don't understand some of the people hating on things like price or size. Pizza was a great size for any pizza place, quality of ingredients means you get what you pay for. We had the marinated olives (castelvetrano) and meatballs as an appetizer, the Pauline Walnuts pizza and the peach cobbler cannoli and all were fab. Cocktails were also great. Highly recommend the limoncello lemonade and the basil limeade. Service was also top notch (thanks Devon!) and while we came on a Saturday afternoon it was pretty chill and food came out super fast and piping hot. We got the Passport dining book in order to try new restaurants and tonight we dined at White Pie. The hostess told us we could sit anywhere and within a few minutes of sitting down we knew what we wanted, so when the waitress stopped by to take our drink order we were ready to place our entire order. I got the Italian Wedding soup that had two meatballs in it. They were really good wish they would have put more in. The mootz pizza came out hot and the crust was perfect. Been here 2 times and both times we loved the food and drink's. Casual setting with fun patio if the weather allows. Good service and clean restrooms. Strolled in on a Sunday around 4pm, the weather was perfect for their lovely outdoor patio in a neighborly setting. We were there for a quick bite so kept it simple with a pep pie and two drinks. They were out of Sicilian style which was a bummer, but nevertheless, we ordered! The pep was solid and I loved the crust. Something about being so doughy but still thin and light -- how I love a wood fired pizza. The drinks were also top notch! Came with the whole family for a belated Father's Day celebration. We had been craving New Haven style pizza ever since we had one of the best pizzas we have ever had, any style, at Smorgasburg in LA. That happened to be the first New Haven style pizza we had ever had (to the best of our knowledge) and it knocked our socks off. We had high hopes for this spot in Denver. We went for lunch on a Sunday and there was only one or two other tables occupied at the time. We decided on three pizza's - the Porky Porkorino (house red sauce, Mozzarella, Sopressata, Pickled chilis, hot honey), Pauli Walnuts (mashed potatoes, bacon, garlic, mozzarella, candied walnuts), and a BYO pepperoni & sausage. All three pies were good in their own right, and we really enjoyed the uniqueness of the Porky & Pauli. The flavors were there...but the crust on the Porky was burnt beyond what should be a normal char which made almost all of the outer crust inedible even though we very much tried to pick through the burn. There just aren't many places in the Denver metro area serving this style of pizza. The pizza was good, and would have been much better had it not been as burnt as it was. I debated on sending it back, but again this style of pizza will have char...and that's a great thing. But ours was just burnt and shouldn't in my opinion have been served. No amount of ranch can help with that. read more

Within a few minutes of being sat, we were asked 2x if we wanted to order anything. With a larger party, we asked for a bit more time. *please note - no one was loud, outrageous, uncouth, rude, or untoward in the 10 minutes we were there. When we were ready to order, we were informed that "we're not going to serve you guys tonight" meaning alcohol - "but whatever else you need we can do". So, before anything was ordered; after multiple attempts to have us order, you've decided that you won't serve us anything other than food. The server says it's the manger's decision to not serve the table BUT has the cowardice to make her tell us instead of them. Impression - you've decided that it's appropriate to preemptively judge a group of gays and allies that have had "too much fun today" instead of being the end to a day celebrating inclusiveness and joy. Ordered the following items for delivery from here: Burrata - came with a few slices of focaccia bread. Burrata was delicious as expected, and I really liked that the bread was more on the softer side. I personally am not a fan of the super crunchy bread that often comes out with apps like these. Olives - oh my lord, I really loved these olives. I like olives generally but don't often go out of my way to eat them. The marinade they were in made the "bite" of the olive a little less strong and I really liked that. There were also a couple cloves of roasted garlic, and I would've ordered the roasted garlic by themselves if they had a menu item for it (they totally should, by the way). Mootzy - pretty standard red sauce pie. Tasted good. Ricky - white pie with a bunch of veggies and balsamic on top. Not bad, but I wasn't completely feeling the white pie at the time. The pizza was pretty good, my only main issue was that a lot of the crust on our pies was burnt. Note- Seating: If you plan to sit at what looks like a bar be prepared to constantly be approached from behind because nothing is served across the "bar" seating. This means turning your head and shoulders to the side to talk to the server, having food served from behind, follow up from behind, and table cleared from behind. My last night's dining experience at this charming pizza place was way more than my expectations so I must write about it. It had long been a suggestion of my 20-yr old daughter that this place was an awesome place for oak-fired pizzas supplemented by seasonal Italian dishes. The interior is rustic-chic. I let my daughter navigate through the menu; I only glanced at it to see what would catch my eye as a meal accompaniment beverage for the night. My daughter's familiarity with this establishment is because her best friend works there. Here are three things we ordered: -Burrata: medley of cherry tomatoes, basil and olive oil. You must order vinegar/fig sauce on the side as this will change your whole burrata experience! -Asbury Park Sour: this was probably the best bourbon based cocktail I've had in recent years. Despite its appearance, this drink only has a hint of sweetness. Perfect drink for a beautiful patio dining in mid July; so refreshing!! -Cannoli: my daughter's best friend (who works there) said that the restaurant makes the Cannoli shells. They then brought back a recipe trying to charge us 50$ for ranch. With the amount of money we spend over all we should be given a to go ranch for free. Definitely do not miss out on their Monday deals and specials! Additionally, the White Pie Lager is made especially for them by Station 26 Brewing. This was the perfect accompaniment for a carb heavy meal. Garlic Cheese Bread -- Mozzarella, Pecorino, Garlic, Garlic Butter, Calabrian Chile Oil, Parsley. $5 during happy hour and worth more than every penny. It's like a mini pizza before your pizza. I'm all about doubling down on savory. Nothing not to enjoy here. Porky Porkorino -- House Red, Mozzarella, Sopressata, Pickled Chiles, Hot Honey. One fine pie if you ask me. Sweet and salty flavors married wonderfully together. The mellow heat was a nice touch. Honestly I could've used more spice, in my opinion that would've taken it to the next level. I usually go with a plain cheese or margherita pizza for comparison purposes when trying a new pizza place, but White Pie made that seem impossible with so many fun pizzas on the menu. The decision was tough, but I ultimately went with the white pie...how could it not be good when it shares a name with the restaurant! With creme fraiche, mozz, garlic, bacon, mushrooms, and a sunny side up egg, the white pie was unlike any pizza I had ever had. The combination of flavors was really fun, and the crust is some of the best I have had in Denver, but prepare yourself for one rich pie.
