Visited this White Spot and have been there many times before. We always sit in the lounge area. Not very noisy and just right. Tables are set and cleaned before arrival. Their cob salad is great. Three of us ordered the salad and the other person had the shrimp sandwich. Loads of shrimp on it. I had a cup of their daily soup which was curry chicken rice. Very rich, thick, and spicy the way I like it. I should have ordered the bowl. For a semi fast food place this was in the mark. read more

When everything matters, this is a great spot! Food was delicious and beautifully pre- see photo. Luba was a most engaging and kind server, she was so attentive and friendly. I haven't been to a White Spot for ages and ended up stopping by here for a brunch as there wasn't many restaurants opened in the morning in Twassssen. We were seated very quickly upon arriving. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of breakfast options as the menu seemed to have less then 10 items to choose from. But the server was really nice to offer a few items in the lunch menu that they can make in the morning. Went here the other morning for breakfast, and our waitress Jessica was awesome! We loved her. We went at like 8am and her attitude was great, we enjoyed how chipper she was so early! . We are group of 6 and went for dinner around 8:30pm. Restaurant was not busy at all. But we waited for half hour to be served and they made mistake my order. They prepared my dish so fast and extra chips while I was waiting. Anyway special dish BBQ chicken sandwich is so tasty. Very rich creams and caramelized onion is addictive. This review is regarding all white spots and the staff at this location. I still remember enjoying my first Triple O sauce burgers back in the sixties and thinking This is the best thing Ever! Well that's what this burger meant to a 7 yr old. Anyway it's still great and I think one of the best straight up burgers you'll find anywhere! The PEI potato fries are endless & Great! Not very often you get as much as you want of something great so keep em coming. White spot also was one of the first to have a great local craft beer on tap, always love GI Pale Ale! When ever you're in tsawwassen go to this WS as the staff are really great people. They really take care of you and are on the move always. It's really nice to have a consistent place to eat at and friendly staff that totally cares about what they do. I am genuinely surprised that this place has such good reviews. I will say that it's awesome that they have been around for so long and are a local favorite, but from an outsiders perspective it's like Applebees and Dennys had a baby.... nothing to write home about. I asked the owner of our Airbnb where we could get poutine and he pointed me toward this location. Do notttt order poutine here, just don't. Service was awesome and amazingly friendly. Our lady was super nice. Beers on tap were a welcoming thing. We had two pints each and continued our adventures (with a safe driver). Finished with White Spot! They are not good at what they do at all! Going back a year ago, my husband and I came here for breakfast.. not only did the server not ask us to refill our coffee, she also didn't bring my husband his toast he ordered until after he ate the rest of his breakfast.. we complained and were comped our breakfast. Fast forward half a year, we called in to order take out lunch.. being pregnant I ordered shrimp tacos which you can order either shrimp or cod and being pregnant I cannot eat cod.. well I get my order and I get one shrimp and one cod taco.. I didn't eat the cod but sent in a complaint.. got a couple coupons for burgers (which I don't like but gave to my folks). Fast forward to just today and we went there again for breakfast.. so far this place has two strikes and they had yet to strike out.. everyone ordered big breakfasts except me since I wasn't all that hungry I ordered an English muffin and strawberries.. simple right? Or at least you would think so.. soon as I received my meal, my English muffin wasn't just undercooked it was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting in ice before it was toasted.. after sending it back for it being undercooked, they took a good 10 minutes before returning.. by this time everyone else had already finished eating their food.. now they returned with burnt English muffins!! Not only am I not supposed to eat burnt food while pregnant but I couldn't even put it in my mouth from it being so hot! Not only is the service extremely spotty here but the chefs are incompetent!! This is our favorite place to go for dinner. The service and food are consistently good and we've had almost everything on their menu over the years. Our favorite is the fully loaded beef sandwich which is more than enough for both of us. It's nice that we can sit at a table in the bar and be away from children. White Spot is always a pretty consistent choice. Every White Spot I go to is pretty standard, nothing really veers too far off from the usual. I tend to opt for something a bit healthier whenever I'm here. I usually get the Lifestyle Chicken Burger which is no longer on their menu, but they can create it if you ask for it. It comes with a side salad as well which is pretty standard - although I would recommend that you put the dressing on the side since mine usually comes drenched in the dressing. This location in particular wasn't super busy, but busy enough. We were seated within 5 minutes, but our food took a long time to come out.Staff, however, were friendly and helpful during our visit. Why did I have to go to Canada to give a 5 star rating? We met a friend at the White Spot for lunch and it was excellent. We had the Tomato soup (great flavorful taste) and the Chicken Veronica Salad. It includes Roasted Chicken, Red grapes, celery, peppers and Cashews. WOW It is worth going back to Canada just for that lunch. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. Never had an empty soft drink glass - Dave kept it filled. My mom and I both had their soup & salad combo. Parking can be rather tight during lunch and dinner hour, as this is one of the most popular restaurants in town. I love coming here! I often take my ailing and aging dad out for lunch out here. Today he had to go to the washroom and me being his daughter, wasn't able to help him. Our waitress (Jessica) offered to get a male staff member to help him. In cones Mark yo the rescue to help my dad with the stall door and went to check on him several times. Then another man (customer) came into the washroom and helped him wash his hands. Stumbled upon this place on Thanksgiving night. I'd had a bigger meal with family for lunch but I wanted to get myself situated close to the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal for an early morning trip to Nanaimo and Tofino. Once I found the ferry, I went in search of a late night dinner. I've learned that White Spot is a chain, and I'd describe it as a step up from a diner. It is not as sticky as Friendly's and not as salty as Applebee's. A small, local chain. The service was great and the prices were fair. I had a delicious turkey club - not with regular shaved turkey meat - this sandwich was the real deal, carved turkey, toasted sour dough bread, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I always delete the tomatoes and swap spicy mustard for mayo. The drink refills were fast and the side of sweet potato fries was divine. I loved this sandwich so much that I hoped to have it again on my way back through Tsawwassen. Hopefully next time. read more
