I work at the Lancaster Dr Walmart, and eat at Whuttle's as often as I can, their food has never disappointed me, it's always absolutely amazing, one of my personal favorites is the brisket macaroni bowl, however while the delicious food certainly is plenty to sell this place, the service is equally as amazing, Whuttle's is family owned and operated and the folks that own it are some of the most amazing folks I've ever met, they make every trip to Whuttle's personal and truly worth every visit, in my opinion they're the best place in town and it truly is a pleasure to be able to work so close giving me so many opertunities to enjoy their food. Tried it tonight on a whim. Inside Walmart on Lancaster. Little bit of a cumbersome location but it's worth it. Wife and I tried the 3 meat combo. Ribs, brisket & chicken. Flavored great. BBQ sauce is sweet & tangy. Brisket was great. Sometimes brisket can be too fatty but this wasn't. Mac & Cheese was good. Get the lemon pie. Holy Moses s that good! Keep it up guys. read more

Today I Took A Chance & Ordered From A Place That I Never Eaten @ Before, Or Heard About. The Food Was Delicious. I Would Have Given Your Place 5's If It Wasn't For One HUGE Misleading Issue Here. When I Opened Up The Container With The Meat In It, It Was Almost Overflowing. I Thought, (WOW, THOSE ARE SOME LARGE PORTIONS!) I Started Eating, But Then I Noticed Something Mixed In With The Meat ... A Couple Of Macaroni Noodles. They Looked Like The Macaroni & Cheese That I Ordered As (1) of my (2) Sides. I Started Moving The Meat Aside, Then I Placed All Of The Meat Into A Separate Container. Under A Thin Layer Of The (3) Meats That I Paid Over $50 For Was All Macaroni & Cheese Noodles!! WTF?! Amazing BBQ food. The brisket is flavorful and tender. The pulled pork stands perfectly on its own, but the bbq sauce that was provided complimented it very well. Be sure to get their baked beans. They were some of the best baked beans I've ever had; the red peppers were a welcomed addition. Last but not least, the Mac 'n cheese. Words cannot explain how delicious it was. No sauce, like how is it BBQ without sauce now I'm eating pulled pork dry so not a good first visit for the price you pay

OK, I have been searching for some good BBQ. I reviewed a different location and wanted to try and get a great BBQ experience, so today I went here for lunch. It wasn't the best I have ever had, but the meat was smoky and tender, much better than some I have tried. I gave it three starts, but depending on your experience, it could be four stars. I would like to have had additional BBQ sauce, which would have elevated the experience, but it is certainly worth trying. They are located in the Wal-Mart on Landcaster, so if you're driving around, that's where it is. read more

Try something new. Ordered two Brisket sandwiches thru DoorDash. They were so small, nothing like the picture on the website. Wifes sandwiche had a big chunk of fat right in the middle and mine wasn't much better, she did not eat hers. Yes complained to DoorDash. Then this morning checking emails there was a message from DoorDash saying Whuttles was out of Brisket and substituted pork without my permission or letting me know. This pisses me off. Fantastic for authentic Southern Barbecue, the meat is slow-smoked right on premises, tender fall-off the bone and barbecue sauce is just the perfect compliment. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the 2 meat dinner plate with pulled pork and brisket-- so much meat, it was more than we could eat! Sides of macaroni and cheese, potato salad and baked beans-- all served up with a cup of kindness--we will be back for more! read more

My mom and I had BBQ from their booth at the Lane County Fair this summer, and so when my uncle sent me out for BBQ and I found that their new Salem location was less than 2 miles from their house, there was nowhere else I'd go. Everything is amazing and delicious, we got brisket and pulled pork and sausage links (get 'em sliced) and a bunch of sides, brought it home, put it on the table, everyone fixed a plate and then there was nothing but silence for the next ten minutes. I grew up in Texas and am very fussy about my BBQ but this was off the rails delicious. read more

Locates inside Lancaster walmart, I actually haven't been inside that one in a while. I walk in and smelled something heavenly thinking I'm in the wrong place then I look to the left where it used to be a McDonald's and there's a bbq place. Mesmerized by the smell I walk in grinning and the nice man behind the counter smile's and we start talking. I instantly start ordering and was excited. I get home to eat and oh my god it was like I was back in middle school at a friends backyard bbq eating the best bbq I have ever had and experiencing my friends culture via food, laughter and great convos. The rib tips, brisket sandwich, hot links sandwich and the Mac n cheese are BOMB!!!! I was so shocked in awe and sooooooooo happy!!! I am so grateful that I went in and ordered.
