Classic Jamaican restaurant that serves food in to go boxes only but does have tables there for you to sit and enjoy your meal at if you so desire... I've only had jerk chicken here and the last time was over 10 years ago, so I did not remember it. Ordering it today with a girlfriend did not instill confidence that the other dishes offered here would be great. The jerk chicken plate in the large size that we shared came with cabbage salad and some form of Jamaican dirty rice. The chicken was cooked appropriately, smoky and dry, with a pleasant looking brown skin, but that wonderful scotch bonnet glaze and sauce that we all expect atop good jerk chicken was sorely missing... Just a very little bit was glazed to the skin. The rice was smoky and had the nice salt flavor one would expect of a dirty rice or a Jamaican rice but it was a little one-dimensional. The cabbage was rather flavorless but had nice crunch. I prefer plantains that are sweet and these were not. There was no festival bread or anything extra to go with the meal. At $36 for the large platter? Not worth it.

I have ordered from Wi Jammin many times on Uber eats, and I will be a forever customer! The food always arrives hot, securely packaged, and exactly as I ordered! I don't know much about the ambiance of the restaurant, because I never dined in. However, their takeout is A1! I ALWAYS get the oxtails and ground food. There's nothing like the ground food. It perfectly complements the oxtail. The oxtail is always extremely tender and melts in your mouth! I wish I could eat this every day. See my photos. They're so juicy and they are not stingy with the gravy AT ALL! I love that! I just love an authentic jamaican spot, and I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while! I might try their jerk chicken next time I order, but I'm just addicted to the oxtail!

I've been coming to Wi Jammin for years and they just keep getting better! When I tell you the flavor is THERE -- it's THERE! The goat is so well seasoned I'm sucking the bones to get every last bit. The chicken be so good I'm chewing the bones! That's how you know it's made right! Everything is always amazing and full of that real authentic Caribbean flavor. The service? Top tier. Friendly, welcoming, and consistent every time. Now they've added mac and cheese on the weekends AND they got ice cream too?! Listen... they stepping UP! The new menus, the updates to the store -- you can tell they're investing back into the business. Y'all really gotta check out Wi Jammin! They can get my money every single time.

I like the oxtails with rice & peas it's full of flavor plus they have the best chicken sausage and French toast around nice play to come get Caribbean Food..

I ordered their curry goat last night and it was terrible, not properly seasoned with a bunch of fat. I've been going here for 15 years and the food was always spectacular. I think there's a different cook. I've never tasted anything like this before. The best part of the meal was the cabbage (delicious). A few hours later was on the toilet constantly. I no longer recommend this place.

$56 for one plate and two drinks... wow ridiculous smfh

Can't believe I just payed $56 for ONE PLATE OF OXTAILS, and two drinks... almost $60 for one plate is ridiculous and I would NEVER come here again, way to many Jamaican spots on this same street for yall to raise the prices THAT HIGH and give us these baby ass oxtails smh wow

I got the oxtail plate. Oxtails, cabbage, rice & peas (beans) and plantains. The cabbage lacked flavor, rice & peas were just ok, the plantains were just plantains. But the star here was the oxtails and the gravy!!!!! Babbbbyyyy the oxtails were delicious. The oxtails were 5 stars!!!!! I also got the pineapple ginger juice (pineginger) it was sweet and you do have to be a ginger lover. This drink was refreshing but not something I will drink with my food.

We stopped in for lunch! We got a plate of the oxtails and goat curry. Food was delicious and definitely shareable. The goat curry was nice and spicy super flavorful and worth every penny. The oxtails were delicious as well, they gave a nice portion for the price. Service was good as well, attentive and helped us with our order from the cafe around the corner as well. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

The oxtails were so soft and fell off the bone. Hard to explain, but I can taste the flavor of these oxtails better than other restaurants. The rice and peas were al dente. I like to mix the oxtail sauce with the rice.

One of the best food spots in LA, always fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and they are faster than most places like this. The oxtails and jerk chicken are our favorite. Parking is meter parking but usually always available. Bathrooms always clean and the restaurant is always clean.

Food is delicious nice size portion. I ordered Curry Chicken plate w/ rice & beans and stem cabbage. 2 patty and pineapple ginger juice. All the food was good. I was able to eat three, serving off the Large plate. However, the pineapple ginger was not good Yes to the food no to the pineapple ginger love

recently dined at this Jamaican spot, and overall, it was a delightful experience! The oxtails were incredibly flavorful--definitely a 5/5. I do wish there had been a bit more meat on them, though. The rice was decent, but it was a bit uneven; half of it was generously covered in gravy while the other half was quite dry, so I'd rate it a 3/5. On the bright side, the salad was fresh and tasty, earning a solid 5/5. The plantains were delicious, but I would have loved to see more of them--perhaps adding a couple more pieces and slightly reducing the rice portion would make for a better balance. The service was fine; they were quite busy, but I appreciated that the food came out warm and ready to eat. It's a small tweak that could elevate the experience at this otherwise fantastic Caribbean spot! God bless your business and I'll be back for sure !

My wife and I were craving for Jamaican patties which we haven't had for a while. A search on Yelp brought us here. It's a humble food stall with just a few decor in the food hall but wow. The patties are packed with flavor and complexity. It's spiced, crumbly, and well textured. It's literally mouth watering thinking about it. For our visit, we got the Chicken Curry with Rice and Peas. This comes with potatoes, peas, and channa (spiced chickpeas) stewed throughout the coconut rice with curried chicken. Super moist chicken and generous portions. Definitely enough to share amongst 3 adults but can get a bit messy. Make sure you have napkins and if you're taking it to go, to make sure it doesn't tip over! We also got the cheese roll and the Jamaican style beef patty. Easy enough to cut up and share, a bit oily, but it made the pastries deliciously flaky and addicting to eat. I can probably just consume one of these quite easily on my own. I took a bite of my friend's order of jerk chicken and it had a pretty good kick to it. Good stuff and solid choice for dinner at Blossom Market Hall.

This area is not familiar to us at all, and we don't normally eat (for us) exotic cuisine. But, we were in the mood to try something new, so we stopped here. It's a colorful, cheerful little place. I think there are only like 4 tables. Apparently, it is mostly takeout. This became evident when our food was "served". We ordered a large two-meat plate and two large fried chicken plates. The two meats were "brown stew chicken" and curry goat. The meat is served in thick savory gravy/sauce. The "plates" are served with rice and fried plantains. The brown stew chicken was good. The curry goat was really good. Here's where the experience really veered sharply from our normal dining experience. The "plates" were served in takeout fold-over boxes with plastic forks. The meat itself was pretty much all adhered to bones. It was tender and delicious, but eating with our hands doesn't come naturally. So, I asked for a knife, and the sweet woman who takes the orders looked at me and said they don't have knives, and that we "just have to dig down into it". Indeed. She did give me a second plastic fork though, which I used. Nice workers. Authentic food. Huge portions. New experience which we all enjoyed.

For context, I've always loved Jamaican food and even have family who make incredible, authentic dishes, but I haven't had anything close to that in a year. So my expectations? High. My craving? Even higher. I ordered the jerk chicken dinner with peas & rice and cabbage medley, and some plantains - to go. First off, the service was amazing. The woman who helped me was genuinely warm and welcoming, and you can tell she cares about what she's serving. When I ordered, she asked if I wanted the jerk sauce on the side and made sure I was okay with the spice level when I said no. That attention to detail matters. The food came out quickly (it was mid-afternoon and not busy), and everything stayed warm all the way home--which is always a win for takeout. Now let's talk about the food: The portion was generous, the flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky, spicy kick - exactly what I was hoping for. The rice and peas and cabbage medley were a great balance to the heat, and the plantains were sweet and perfectly cooked. I did notice another review complaining about the spice level being too high... and honestly, I had to laugh a little. Have you had jerk chicken before? It's supposed to be spicy - that's the whole point. Personally, that comment is part of what made me choose this place, and it delivered. If you don't like spice, jerk might not be your thing - but I'm sure there are milder options if you ask. Bonus: they offer online ordering and delivery through Uber Eats and Postmates, which makes it even easier to get your fix. Overall, this place brought back the flavors I've been missing for so long. I'll absolutely be back - and probably sooner rather than later.
