    Salt room
    Jane R.

This is my husbands happy place! It's always clean and neat! My favorite is the salt room and the cold sauna. We went to hang out on the roof top and I can stay here all day * very relaxing rooftop ambiance is perfect. I can sleep here and just relax. I highly recommend this place for people who needs to reset and recharge! Parking is not s problem &4 and it's in their facility.

Love a *good* Korean spa!! Women's Spa: Bathrobes and unlimited hand-sized towels. Only 3 tubs (cold, hot, hottest), wet/dry sauna, and a plethora of showers (sitting/standing). Staff was great, constantly making sure floors/countertops were dry, fresh towels, etc. PLENTY of places to wash before getting in the pools (one may say too many because they are simply not getting used). Got a scrub + moisturizing massage. Bring cash tip (they have an ATM in the lobby). Common Area: The typical mats, various rooms (high temp clays balls room, other temps, cold room - maybe 5-6 rooms total? By end of the day (8/9pm) lots of mats strewn around because unsure if they belong to people. There's an overnight fee added now (check their website). Didn't try the food, but the menu looked good. Overall, a meh spa by general Korean spa standards, especially as there isn't another 24hr spa in the area. Cold common sauna's AC was dripping water, not many pool options (I know this isn't something they can just change, but if a section of the shower area was converted to more pools...) Valet parking, or street parking (free on Sundays).

Had a pleasant time at Wi Spa! There's valet parking for $4 (cash only) so it was a stress-free experience, unless you want to save a bit $ and find street metered parking. Went on a Saturday evening and it was a bit busy but definitely not crowded. There still lots of space in the co-ed areas, including the dry saunas. They have a kitchen in the co-ed area that serves full menu until 11:30 PM, then after that its a limited menu. Its slightly overpriced...$23 for beef tofu soup that hardly had any beef. The taste was very meh and it made me wish I had spent it at BCD instead. Each of the men and women spaces have their own wet area that includes 3 different pools and steam&dry sauna. You have to be completely undressed. I thought the space was kept very clean throughout the night!

Second time coming here, this time treating my brother and myself to a body scrub and combo massage. The facilities are great, but the services provided were just OK (seshin- body scrub) to not good (massage). Wi Spa is the most famous jjimjilbang in LA (which would make it one of the most famous in the country). It opened in 2009, and is open 24 hours 7 days a week, and is co-ed. It also has a small restaurant with filling Korean dishes and desserts, and a lovely, quiet rooftop where one can relax outside. It was a place my brother had not been before, so figured it would be an interesting activity for a Saturday afternoon. I visited a couple days before and reserved a seshin (25 min body scrub for $65) and acupressure/swedish combo (80 min for $180) for each of us. Because the service total was over $159.99, the $40 admission fee was waived. We were asked to come at least 30 minutes before the first body scrub. We were given a locker key/id wristband with a clear number, and going forward, everyone uses that number to identify the clients. We also got a unisex t-shirt and disposable slippers. The men's locker room is on the same floor as the check-in area. Once inside, it's just easier to put everything into your locker and only have your wrist band with you while in the men's area. There are saunas, different whirlpools, and resting areas. To go to the co-ed areas, there are self service shorts and robes (which added to the tshirt and slippers) is the common outfit to walk around outside of the locker room. Glasses don't work here (it would steam, plus I didn't really care about the details), so had to walk around slowly. There are two tables for the seshin in the men's locker room, but only one scrubber so one had to wait while the other went. It was my very first seshin, though I often take baths to scrub away dead skin, so the sensation wasn't that different. I was concerned about certain areas with really thin skin. The best way to describe the scrubber was that he was no-nonsense, not saying much, and giving one word commands...but that strangely felt appropriate here. Two handcloths were used: one to cover my eyes and the other for the nether region. That being said, the experience wasn't pleasant. Plus the bench table got slippery, and could see how someone could slip and hurt themselves, so need to go slow. Afterwards, he handed me a tip envelope and told me 'Come back HERE, OK?'. I did do as he asked, but he was gone so just put the filled tip envelope on the bench and left. Massages are done at a dedicated floor and we arrived too early. The ajumma was not happy with me (probably because I was too loud telling her my name...should have used my number instead) and told to come back in 25 minutes. So we went to the restaurant, got a couple of fruit smoothies ($8, they were good) and some shaved ice. Came back and my brother was taken back immediately. I had to wait for a bit. Two women came and started to argue with each other softly. Finally a different woman came, and I was told by the ajumma to go with her. At that point, I was worried that I had been given to a newbie who was low person on the totem pole, getting all the undesirables. That being said, the masseuse was skilled and knew what she was doing. She used her feet quite a bit, and knew how far to go without seriously hurting me. But I would have appreciated a tiny bit more interaction, and a bit more than just grunts to me when I was supposed to turn over, etc. This interaction seemed more appropriate with the body scrub. Maybe...5 words were said to me, and all of it was unintelligible. The experience just didn't work. Plus I was a bit uncomfortable on my stomach as I had probably been resting on my forehead too long, but had no idea if I could effectively communicate that with her...so I just bore it. At the end, she clapped loudly and stopped, mumbling something. Everything was so opposite of gentle and friendly, even the end 'conversation'. Of course, she handed me a tip envelope with towel and was out of there very quickly. I ended up handing the tip envelope to the front desk as I was checking out. Later I asked my brother at what rank would he put his massage of all the ones he's taken (he's probably had over a hundred) and he wouldn't give me a straight answer. Can't recommend the massages here at all (and mad at myself for giving them a tip). It's weird...they almost make it seem like it is Korea, where not many people speak English....and woe to the Korean-Am who can't speak Korean properly. The only people at the facility I would consider to have good customer service would be the folks checking you in and the non-Korean locker room attendant who was very helpful. I would just pay the $40 entrance fee next time, and call it a (long) day.

A Novelty Spa Experience for Those Interested in Korean Culture Wi Spa is a great way to experience the jimjilbangs of South Korea. Admission is $40 on top of a fee for valet parking, which is the only choice for Wi Spa's parking lot. Since this spa is open 24 hours, this admission gives you the whole day to experience the spa's many rooms. The front desk service is no-frills and straightforward. I only had three hours to go through the rooms, but the spa is actually quite small. Most of the main spa rooms (co-ed) are on the same floor. There's a cold room and then ~3 hot rooms with various themes. In addition, these rooms were incredibly cozy, only allowing a few guests at a time. In the gendered areas, there's showers, jacuzzis, saunas, and lockers. There's a sleeping room, a restaurant, and a common area to lay out on the co-ed floor. The rooftop area is on the top floor. Wi Spa offers massages, body scrubs, and various spa services. However, the prices are on the higher side. There are also massage chairs, but these cost extra money and aren't included with admission. I did the body scrub, which you have to book in advance at the register, and it is quite painful but thorough. They do ask about washing your hair and scrubbing your face, but I opted out. You are given an envelope to tip for services (bring cash!). It was nice that they give you the scrubbing cloth at the end! Overall, the spa is a little cramped and in need of an update considering rising admission prices. It's a charming experience and similar to what I've seen at jimjilbangs in Korea. However, it's not necessarily a high-end experience, and the prices of the additional services are quite high.

This review is only for the Aescape AI robotic massage and not on Wi Spa. Upon arrival front desk is very friendly and helpful. I check in with front desk for my Aescape massage and they escort me to the room. Overall the massage was good. The robot did well on the back, glutes and hamstring. Unfortunately robot does not have the ability to massage the neck and shoulder which is a bummer. Also there's no mechanism to massage arm. Once these areas are address I think Aescape may be a nice alternative when your favorite human is fully booked on the day that you really need a massage. Pro tip: tuck your shirt under your pants to prevent shirt from moving up during massage session. To your wellness!!

My gf and I came here on a late Friday night around 9:30pm - 2am. There were still plenty of people there and by the end of the night people were trying to rest and spend the night there. I understand it's LA so space is limited but the facility isn't that big and each hot room feels very crowded. A few of the rooms were kind of stinky from the amount of bodies in there. The ice room wasn't very cool and had a funny smell to it. The restaurant food was good, we really enjoyed the seaweed clam soup, bingsu, shikye and roasted eggs. The jacuzzi/sauna/women's locker room were clean. For the price it's still very reasonable especially it is 24 hours and would be a very cheap alternative to getting a hotel room if you're able to sleep with lots of people around you.

$40 for a day pass now. Great place to relax and unwind. There are 3 floors: male, female, coed, coed rooftop. Everyone gets a uniform shirt and pants - they give you shirts when you Check in and shorts are in the locker rooms runs small id size up. They also have robes sometimes but they go quick. Generally clean considering how many people go there each day. Women's bath house people are generally fully nude but it's very welcoming and no one is weird about it. Cold plunge, hot tub, warm tub, dry sauna, steam room AND a cold intense shower on each coed floor. I could spend 5+ hours here. There's also a beauty shop on the women's floor that you can buy face masks and other beauty supplies. Parking is valet only $4 cash.

We visited Wi Spa on a Thursday night and it was busy. The restaurant was full of people but five of us only waited 10 minutes. All the soups came out fast, the banchans were delicious and tasted homemade. I really like Wi Spa the restaurant as well as the spa. The showers, steam rooms and hot tubs are all clean. We spent the night and paid only $40 because we checked out at 4 AM. If you stay past 4 AM it's an additional $30. There's options to sleep In co ed rooms or the women's only room. I slept on the room in July because the weather was perfect.

Had a scrub service and it was thoroughly performed! Sauna rooms are pretty standard and I feel they are on the smaller side except the Jade room. Food was good but pricy. Shaved rice is a must try after spa.

I really enjoyed the deep tissue shiatsu massage. The masseuse was very skilled, and it was a first to have someone walk on my back. The experience was very therapeutic. DD got a deep pore facial, and enjoyed that a lot. The salt sauna, clay sauna, and ice room were our other favorites. I also enjoyed the bibimpap at the restaurant. The clay pot made the rice crispy. The dish definitely hit the spot. DD got the spicy tuna bowl, and we were impressed by the generous portion. All the entrees in the restaurant run about $20. Overall we had a great time at Wi Spa and look forward to returning.

Wi Spa Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Wi Spa

    Do they honor Military discount?

Hi, sorry it's not advertised. Please read my review. I provide helpful tips I learned after my first visit

Do they offer couple body scrub/ massage?

Not in the common areas - which are separated by men's and women's... might wanna call them to see if they have a couples' private room.

The entry rate is $40, but I see comments about surcharges or $30 if someone don't leave by 4am. Also if someone enters at 6am and if they don't leave by 11am there is a $20 surcharge?…

I am not be surcharged, but I do left before 4am.

Hi , If I go late night after 10 pm, when should I leave before you charge extra over night fee?

Check out before 4AM to avoid the extra $30 overnight fee.

    Do they provide indoor slippers?

    Yes, we do.

    Price for entry?

We open 24 hours a day. No exception. We charge $40 admission fee.

I'm coming in on a train that arrives at 5:30 am and can't check into my hotel until 3:00 pm. My friend recommended Wi Spa for the time in between. Will they check my suitcase or can I only bring items that fit into a locker?

That you need to call them directly because the lockers are high school lockers. Good Luck

What is the price is you come at 6am and how long can I stay?

$30 for entry and if you stay past 11am it will be an additional $20 pretty sure

Is it normal to bring a child? For instance father and son?

Yes, children are welcome. They have a kids' area in the jimjilbang (arcade games, tv, toys, and like a jungle gym thing) and I bet he won't be the only kid there. It's normal.

What sizes of the clothes do they provide or can you bring your own?

They provide cloths to wear and have all types of sizes. I highly recommend bringing your own sandals.

Is there transgender massage therapist working here?

    I'm not sure about that

How is their child care services? Are they 24/7 too?

There are no child care services to speak of. They have a play room but there is no one there employed to care for children.

    Is walk-in ok?

    Yes

If they are open 24/7, when do they clean the pools and saunas?

Hey Steve, they close down the pools in the women's area from 2am - 3:30am for cleaning. I'm not sure if it is the same time for the men's area, but there are cleaning staff on site and they work around the clock. You can always call them and ask…

What can i bring in? eg. bag, laptop, headphones...

Yes you can bring laptop, a bag with your things.. change of clothes, headphones, and your refillable water bottle.. hair product and tools you need,

Can i leave and come back within the same day of the day pass?

No re-entry whatsoever. They might let you go to your car to grab something if you forgot, but each entry is a new charge.

    Do you have blow dryers?

    Yes.

What time does the food court closes?

Can you bring in your own water container in?

yes. and you totally should. hydration is super important when you're sweating.

Do you have to be naked?

If you want to enjoy the full facilities, some parts of it require you to be naked, since you'll need to shower first. That being said, if you do not want to be, you can skip half of the facility, change into the gym shorts they give you, and chill…

When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. After three years of coming here, I truly trust Irene's Skintopia with my skin. They've helped me repair my skin barrier, keep my skin clear, improve my texture, and maintain results that still look natural. It is worth every single penny, and I'm so grateful I found this place. I recommend them to everyone!

She made it look easy peasy! :) I was able to see the procedure and staff helped record video of it, and we all laughed because it was like Dr.Pimplepoppers. But then when I got into the actual facial procedure, it didn't go so well. I was assigned someone named Kyung. She used the needle/lancet A LOT. I had maybe one stubborn, deeper pimple, but the fact that she used a needle to puncture and squeeze a bunch of spots caused a lot of scarring/hyperpigmentation that's taken me over two weeks now to exfoliate and get rid of, and its not yet near to being clear. If their smaller ones that can be squeezed then a lot is normal- but the needle was used probably over 20 times. Not only that, but every time she spoke, it was always an attempt to get more money. First, it was asking if I wanted to buy a package or some sort of membership. She asked twice and kept on being pushy as she was doing the procedure. Next, she asked me to tip at least twice as well, and reminded me several times, even got the physical sign with her venmo/PayPal and showed it to me, to make sure I understood. Note that maybe had we made other small talk, then maybe, just maybe the way she was so pushy and trying to get more money out of me would be fine, but it was really every moment she spoke was an opportunity to get more money. What impressed me the most was how carefully they analyzed my facial expressions before doing anything. They didn't just inject in the usual spots. They actually asked me to make different expressions--raising my eyebrows, frowning, relaxing my face--and watched closely to see exactly where the muscles were working. Based on that, they explained where Botox would help and, just as importantly, where it was not necessary. That level of detail made me feel very comfortable because it was clear they were focused on natural results rather than simply using more product. I especially appreciated that they were conservative and thoughtful with the injections. They avoided placing Botox in areas that didn't truly need it, which made me feel like I was in very honest and experienced hands. Another pleasant surprise was how little the injections hurt. I was honestly expecting it to be more uncomfortable, but the technique was so gentle that it was much easier than I imagined. Overall, the entire experience felt very professional, careful, and trustworthy. If you're looking for a place that takes the time to understand your face and aims for natural-looking results, I would absolutely recommend them.

It works beautifully for my face, and I always love how refreshed and sculpted my skin looks afterward. Sylvia is, without a doubt, my favorite esthetician. She has an exceptional technique and an incredibly gifted touch. There are moments when her hands move across my face so delicately that it feels as if she's playing a beautiful musical instrument--awakening and bringing my skin back to life. At other times, her fingers move with a quick, rhythmic precision, almost like a beautifully choreographed dance building toward a perfect finale. It's difficult to describe, but her hands seem to know exactly what my face needs. Her technique is both graceful and remarkably precise. I'm 100% satisfied with her skill and talent, and I'm honestly a huge fan of Sylvia! The spa itself is also wonderful. It's exceptionally clean, peaceful, and well organized, making it easy to completely relax during the treatment. The free parking inside the building is another great bonus. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly exceptional facial experience. My only selfish concern is that Sylvia will become so popular that she'll be impossible to book! I'm hoping she stays just busy enough--without getting too busy or tired--because I definitely want to keep coming back to her.

Warning to anyone who doesn't want to feel pressured into tipping before receiving their service…read more I had a much-anticipated facial appointment today, and during check-in, before my service even began, I was required to pay for the $250 service. There was also an option to tip, which I found strange because tipping is typically based on the service you actually receive. I selected a standard $20 tip, fully intending to potentially leave more cash afterward. The aesthetician immediately questioned me, saying, "Wow, you're only going to tip $20? Why?" The fact that I was being questioned about my tip during check-in, before they had even provided the service, was completely inappropriate and unprofessional When I asked what was wrong with the tip, they laughed in my face. I would never have booked an appointment here had I known customers would be made to feel uncomfortable or judged over their tip amount. A tip should be voluntary and based on the service - not something you're pressured about before the service has even started. I'll be sharing a video later this week with more details about my experience.

I'm a self-proclaimed skincare snob and have done everything from leech therapy, microneedling, PRP, vampire facials, IPLs, various chemical peels, and a plethora of different lasers. I had been eyeing the Scarlet RF machine for about two years now and finally decided to pull the trigger, especially since my skin has been acting up the past six months in ways I've never seen before. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Reset Laser Clinic -- they had amazing reviews and offered the Scarlet RF treatment. I'm so glad I found them because WOW, I was beyond impressed. First of all, there was zero downtime -- and I saw instant results. My skin looked noticeably more plump and refreshed right after the treatment, and it continues to improve day by day. For anyone unfamiliar, the Scarlet RF microneedling machine improves skin tone, texture, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and scars. It combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. Results are immediate, but they keep getting better over the next six months! Reset Clinic also offers an amazing package that combines three treatments in one session: Scarlet RF, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma): where your own blood is drawn, processed to concentrate the healing platelets, and then applied to boost regeneration and healing, Rejuran (Salmon DNA Therapy): a Korean skin booster that improves hydration, elasticity, and enhances the skin's natural healing processes. Another major plus: they have their own parking lot (huge bonus for K-Town!), and my treatment also included a bit of a massage, a head spa, and a mini facial -- it felt so luxurious. I went back to work the next day without any issues. No redness, no peeling, no downtime -- just noticeably healthier, plumper skin. I'm so happy with the results and definitely plan to return for other treatments at Reset. Not sponsored, by the way -- but I did chat with them afterward about my experience, and they generously offered a discount for my followers. If you mention 'JENNY', they'll give you $112 off the Scarlet RF treatment I had done! You can book with Jenny by DM'ing them on Instagram (@reset_laser_clinic) or by calling 213-455-1950 -- just let them know I sent you!

The entire experience was so relaxing and professional, and I genuinely left feeling like my skin had been completely refreshed and renewed. One of my favorite parts of the appointment was that they actually scanned my skin before starting the facial. I thought this was such a cool and helpful part of the experience because it allowed them to look more closely at my skin and determine my specific skin type and concerns. Instead of just giving me a generic facial, they were able to tailor the treatment and products to what my skin actually needed. I learned things about my skin that I honestly did not know before, and I really appreciated how thorough they were in explaining everything to me. The facial itself was absolutely AMAZING. It was incredibly relaxing, and you could tell that a lot of care and attention went into every step. My skin felt so clean, hydrated, soft, and refreshed afterward. I could immediately see a difference in how my skin looked and felt. It had that fresh, glowing look that you hope to get after a facial, and my skin felt incredibly smooth. I also really appreciated how knowledgeable and attentive the staff were throughout the entire appointment. They took the time to explain what they were doing, why certain products were being used, and what would be best for my skin moving forward. I never felt rushed or like they were just trying to get through the appointment. It felt very personalized, which made the experience even better. CKE Skin Care definitely exceeded my expectations. I went in wanting to treat myself and take better care of my skin, and I walked out feeling relaxed, confident, and excited to continue taking care of my skin. The combination of the skin analysis, personalized recommendations, and amazing facial made this such a great experience. If you are thinking about getting a facial, I HIGHLY recommend CKE Skin Care! Whether you are someone who already has a skincare routine or someone who is trying to figure out what your skin actually needs, I think the skin scan is such a great place to start. It was informative, relaxing, and honestly just a really enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I will definitely be coming back! My skin has never felt so good, and I am already looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you, CKE Skin Care, for such an amazing experience!

He somehow knows the exact amount of pressure to make me feel completely relaxed while also making sure I (and my knots!) get some good use out of his magical hands. He's also incredibly thoughtful about checking in before every session to see what I'm in for that day, whether it's a full-body massage, certain areas that need extra attention, or anything I want him to avoid. And afterward, he always follows up with what he noticed during the massage and any recommendations for things I can do at home to help in between my monthly sessions. My 50 minutes with him absolutely FLY by, and if/when my schedule allows, I will definitely be splurging on an 80-minute session. Ralph is such a friendly, kind, genuinely caring person, and I truly can't recommend him enough.
