If your looking for a super packed spa with horrible service this is the place for you. As someone who gets massages every week I have to say this is the worse massage I have had in LA. I showed up at 5pm for a scrub and massage and the scrub was amazing. The massage was horrible. She essentially just walked on my back for 50 minutes and that's it. She put a sheet over me and really did not even use her hands. Only reason I give it two stars is the sauna and scrub were great. Worst part is I was leaving and tried to leave a tip in an envelope for my services and the people at the front desk wanted me to wait in a 20 person deep line just to give them the tip. After being told twice I couldn't leave I just left the two enveloped and my wristband on the front desk and said I had a work dinner to go to, which I did. I had been to Wi Spa once 2 years ago and just went again recently. It was my first Korean spa experience ever. Fast forward to today, I've been to five other K-spas in LA and OC to which I can compare. Parking is $4 valet, even if the lot has many empty spots as another reviewer mentioned. Wish they would allow us to self-park and only charge valet when the lot is full. All the other spas have better and free parking. The gym is permanently closed. Heard from the front desk staff that they're planning to open a hair spa instead, but no ETA on when that will be completed. The locker area and restrooms were pretty clean. Half of the showers in the wet area were missing handles and out of order. Also not the cleanest. Clearly need some upgrading there. I love that Wi Spa has warm, hot, and cold tubs. The other spa I go to in the area, Hugh Spa, only has one small Himalayan salt tub. Wi Spa is pretty comparable to I Spa in Irvine, Spa Hyu in City of Industry, and K Spa in Buena Park with those three tubs, steam room, and dry sauna, except Wi Spa's wet room area seems the biggest. Overall, Wi Spa and I Spa have the most comfortable temperatures for the three tubs. The cold tub is colder than I Spa's, but not as frigid as that in Spa Hyu in City of Industry. I could not last more than 15 seconds in Spa Hyu's cold tub, but I could stay for 2-3 minutes in Wi Spa's and maybe like 5 mins in I Spa's. There's a women's sleeping area by the women's locker room, or you can go to the massive co-ed area to lounge or nap. I love bulgama (fire room), which I Spa also has but the other spas do not. I also love laying on clay balls in the clay room. Hugh Spa also has this room, whereas I Spa's equivalent is the ondol room which has clay-lined walls, but no clay balls. The jade room was nice and warm; it's set at a similar temperature to the clay and salt rooms. If I recall correctly, the bamboo room at I Spa is not as warm as the other rooms and feels closer to room temperature after the other saunas. For these co-ed dry sauna rooms, Wi Spa is my favorite, followed by Hugh Spa and then I Spa. One thing Wi Spa has that the other spas don't is the rooftop terrace. Seems like a cool area to chill if you want to also feel the fresh air outside. Another huge plus compared to other spas is it's open 24/7, though they do charge extra if you check out after 4 am. Onto the service. I got a buff and silky massage the other day. It included a scrub. Everything, including the massage, was done in the wet room and on the same bed. I didn't like this because the bed for scrubbing didn't have a hole where you could put your face and breathe, so I had to rest my head to the side, which hurt and fatigued my neck after a while. At Hugh Spa, you would move from the wet room to one of the private rooms for your massage, body treatments, facials, etc. The massage was pretty good, and the scrubbing thorough, but I noticed she finished 7 minutes before my allotted time. Given how expensive services are, I expect to get every minute. Hugh Spa is my favorite for services. TL;DR: Wi Spa is great for the tubs and co-ed sauna rooms. Parking sucks. The wet room needs upgrading and more frequent cleaning. I wouldn't recommend getting a buff + massage combo here, but admission alone is worth it. read more

What took me so long to come here!?! Honestly, yes - I was anxious about the nudity. But I am telling you now, it ain't no big deal! To enhance the odds that I wouldn't chicken out I went on a special occasion (my birthday) which happened to fall on a weekday this year. So worth it and I can't wait to come back at least every year, and spend longer! I got here mid-day after my morning adventures and planned to get the full body scrub and spend hours lounging in the saunas before heading out for dinner. When I arrived it was a super fast check in. I preordered my treatment. I was flexible but if you want to make sure that you can get a certain kind of treatment you may want to reserve in advance. I went to the women's floor and changed quickly into the tshirt, shorts and slippers they give us to wear (reminded me of my 5th grade PE uniform). There are also plenty of towels and robes if you want them. Everything is super convenient in this area, restrooms, the locker rooms, primping stations, and more (that I didn't explore - maybe a gym?!). Your whole spa universe is controlled by your wristband thingy - including your locker. I took a shower before soaking in the hot tub before going for my body scrub. While there were plenty of people milling about, everyone is there for peace of mind and relaxing. If anything, it was empowering to be surrounded by women with so many different real body shapes, and I melted into that landscape. Soon, my wristband number was called, and my treatment was off in another corner behind a wall. I had also been a teensy bit anxious leading up to this treatment, just based on lore I guess. But I use scrubbing gloves every day so the texture on my body was not that harsh. It was definitely a better scrub than I can give myself at home and it weirdly, it felt like I was being scrubbed with a brush, but she gave me the little mitt afterwards to use at home and it was definitely that. It felt great and so relaxing overall! My skin felt so soft afterwards for a loooong time. If you are getting a service, bring cash for a tip. You can also do it with your card when you check out. But at least with cash, you know your person will be receiving it. After the treatment I went up to the jimjilbang (co-ed/family floor) with the heated floors that everyone naps on, the heated saunas and ice rooms (my favorite was the one with tiny clay balls), and the food - something I will try next time. I just got a melona popsicle and a coconut water to rehydrate this time. There are computers, books, video games, and massage chairs! While you can bring family, I didn't see kids when I went. I went to the roof and was shocked that it was raining because it was sunny when I got there. Even with the rain, I sat up there for a bit. My bench was under an overhang, they have blankets and pillows, and it was cool to just sit and let the rain put me in a trance! Afterwards I returned to the heated spas to warm up again. I highly recommend Wi Spa because you really get away from life and can hide away for as long as needed until you are ready to face it all again. I will try more spa treatments later and report back. But a scrubbing will always be on my menu! I look forward to going again and have gotten over myself wearing my birthday suit with strangers. But now that I told my friends and co-workers what I did on my birthday they all want to do a spa day together!?! What would you do?! read more

I would not recommend the spa. They do have lockers to put your belongings. They provide wristbands that open and close the lockers. I took my wristband off for a moment to change. I noticed it was missing from the countertop. Someone had stolen my wristband. When leaving the facility I let them know it was stolen and they charged me a $25 fee since it got stolen at their location. As far as a service, I wouldn't recommend it either .. I don't remember seeing any of the staff smile- Or look like they even like their job. I would not recommend this to this location if you're looking to relax. It's pretty stressful because things are not safe in the locker room. As other reviews mentioned as well., and the staff is unprofessional.. Very disappointing. Visiting SoCal for the first time and we are staying in Culver City, a bit far from Wi Spa. Really wanted to check out Wi Spa and went the day before our leave. We showed up 12:04 and were told the fee was raised from 30$ to 70$ each, since we were 4 minutes past midnight...going from a total of 60 to 140. And cleaning is at 2am with another charge being applied at 4am. Insane! We had ubered there and already spent over 30$ going and spent 40$ going back home. We both are young adults in college and do not have a car and again not being from the area but really wanted to try out the spa as it was on our list so we made the time to save up. I must say this place has fallen way off. Use to be a place of quality and great service but it is far from that now. From the valet to the front office staff the beginning of the experience was completely trash, no manager or supervisor on site and staff members who are gossiping rather than working. If there's an issue they can't resolve it and you end up wasting your time. It's such a shame because I've literally been coming here for years, my mother-in-law has done business with the owner and held such great memories. For it to be a Korean spa but have no one working that speaks Korean is also sad. Maybe it's under new management or new ownership but really sad and not worth going. Oh my the experience I got for the first time! I felt like a big baby getting scrubbed down by one of their Ahjummas. Getting bathed and scrubbed down butt naked by I assume an older Korean woman was kind of liberating. You pay first for your service when you enter their building and getting handed a wrist band kinda reminds me of squid games. Lol. Then you strip down out of your clothes and wear their Wi Spa attire and robes. In the bath house area it's separate male from female, where they have you soaking in a hot jacuzzi spa for 30 minutes so you're prepped to get all that dead skin scrubbed off of you. They do ask for a tip at the end of the service. I would say $10-20 would be nice. They do have a common area where both genders can come together to either rest or go in different various saunas from hot to cold, stone to salt. My kids second time to K spa- first time in Wi Spa. Each one of us had a facial, and my kids had foot massages. We arrived at 10 AM for first service started at 11 AM. When we arrived, parking lot still empty, and the staff said I didnt have to pay $4 valet since they were not ready yet. We checked in which took a long time since the staff didnt know how to pair each one of us with our service. The jacuzzi was still nice about 5 people. The common room and the restaurant were spacious. After 12 pm, the place packed like Disneyland. Multiple people in each sauna room to the point people were standing up. Cafetaria became so packed, no sitting, kids area was packed with kids, sleeping area filled with people. Women sauna and jacuzzi completely packed with people. 6 Hairdryer stations, 3 didnt work. I'm really disappointed. I used to genuinely enjoy coming here, but the quality has gone down significantly. My friend and I came here for my birthday, and honestly, it felt like a waste of time and money. I usually book a scrub, but since they were fully booked, we decided to just get day passes. That would have been fine, except the overall experience was extremely underwhelming. First, this place seriously needs a proper remodel. And I mean a full shutdown-and-remodel, not trying to patch things up while clients are still there. The facility looks worn down and poorly maintained. If phones were allowed, I would have taken plenty of photos because it was that disappointing. Yes, the day pass price has gone up, but the experience does not match the cost. They give you one pair of disposable slippers, yet don't want you wearing them in the shower area. As a licensed manicurist, there is no way I'm walking barefoot in a wet communal space. All I could think about was fungus and bacteria. They also only provide one medium towel, which is not enough. The shower area was honestly gross. There were missing tiles, missing rubber mats, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers looked like they needed to be replaced a long time ago. Overall, the entire space felt neglected. What really pushed me over the edge was seeing a woman in the cold tub who was clearly on her cycle, with no proper coverage. It was extremely unsanitary and completely turned me off from getting in at all. At that point, I was ready to leave, but we had just arrived, so we tried to make the best of it. Eventually we got hungry and went upstairs to eat, and that was another disappointment. The food prices have gone up so much, and honestly, I would rather go to a restaurant for that kind of money. I was so irritated by then that I didn't even eat. I just wanted to leave and get food somewhere else. Overall, this experience was frustrating, unsanitary, and nowhere near worth the money. And I have a problem with germs. And I just cannot imagine how filthy this place is. To see person after person used the same chairs and floor mats. I would say some of these people are homeless. I don't like the fact that I had no choice but to use the valet parking service. So they parked my car and kept my key. I wasn't allowed to park my own vehicle. It only cost four dollars though. I didn't like the fact that a naked man seats in the men's pool area all day and night. I'm not sure why. I'm guessing for security and assistance. I think the place would be more normal and enjoyable if all areas were co-ed. You're naked in the locker room, naked in the pool area, then put on clothes to go to the common-gender neutral area and top roof. Just make the whole place nude. The immature and uncomfortable can stay home. Because of this, me and my wife couldn't share the pool and spa together. Because those areas are gender specific. I would consider again. I love going to a Korean spas and I heard a lot about Wi Spa for a long time. Finally I was able to check it out this place. For $30 to get in and $20 for overnight fee. The staff said checkout time is 11am. So I told her I wasn't aware of that and I would have plan my time better. The had someone to open my locker so I went to get ready. It did took me 2 hrs to get my hair and makeup done since I have a photo shoot that I have in couple hours. If I known prior to this then I could have plan ahead and don't have to pay another $30 for a new day fee. It would have been nice if they charged me a half day instead of a full day. Since I have to pay for the new day fee, that's means I can stay here until 9pm. So I decided to stay longer and checkout later. I stayed overnight so couldn't take advantage of the day time spa options but it was fine. Compared to other Korean spas on the east coast they had a few less heated rooms and smaller pools, but other things (rooftop deck, shower area, sleeping areas) were more spacious. They also supplied little baskets and toothbrushes to use in the bathing area - a small touch but extremely helpful and not what I experienced at other spas in this category. They also had a really cute kid area that I've never seen at other spas. Definitely made the experience more accessible for the families that were there. I visited WI Spa today around **11:00 AM**, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst spa experiences I've ever had. My friend and I spent nearly **$300**, but instead of feeling relaxed, we left feeling stressed, unwelcome, and disappointed. The first issue happened in the women's wet area. Before entering the hot tub, I had already taken a shower. After removing my cover-up, a cleaning staff member immediately assumed I had not showered and repeatedly told me to shower first, even telling me to get out of the hot tub. I explained that I had already showered, but she continued treating me as though I had broken the rules. Staff should verify the situation before making assumptions. The second issue involved my phone. I carefully read the signs stating **"Phone usage is prohibited"** and **"No photo or video recording allowed."** I fully respected those rules. I never used my phone or took any photos. My phone was simply placed next to my towel because I always keep my valuables with me. Another sign also instructs guests not to leave personal belongings unattended and to keep them with them at all times. My phone is one of my personal belongings, so I believed I was following both signs. Despite never using my phone, the same staff member repeatedly approached me and accused me of using it. I finally asked her to leave me alone because I had not violated any rules. If WI Spa's policy is that **phones themselves are not allowed** in the wet area, the sign should clearly state **"No phones or electronic devices allowed in this area,"** not simply "Phone usage is prohibited." After this, I noticed the staff member speaking with coworkers and then a manager. Instead of listening to my concerns, I felt like I was already being treated as though I had done something wrong. Another frustrating issue involved the wristband. My friend and I booked and paid together under one reservation. Because I didn't feel comfortable wearing the wristband into the scrub treatment, I left it in my locker. When I arrived for my appointment, the manager gave me a hard time because I wasn't wearing it, even after I explained that my appointment could easily be verified under our shared reservation. Instead of checking the reservation, she told me to leave the treatment area. It was unnecessary and embarrassing. During my Korean body scrub, the manager also insisted that I wear the spa uniform. As an Asian woman, I preferred to keep my own bra on until the treatment started because I wasn't comfortable being completely exposed. She made me go upstairs to get a spa uniform, only for the scrub technician to immediately tell me to remove it once I entered the room. That extra trip served no purpose. The scrub itself was also disappointing. The technician spoke very little English, making communication difficult. I repeatedly asked her to scrub more gently because it was painful and asked several times for cooler water because it was too hot, but my requests were ignored. At one point, while following her instructions to change positions, some water accidentally splashed toward her. She reacted angrily, making me feel very uncomfortable throughout the remainder of the treatment. Afterward, I shared my concerns with the manager. Rather than acknowledging my experience or apologizing, she simply told me what I should do differently next time regarding the phone policy. There was no empathy or attempt to improve the situation. Overall, I never felt welcomed. I felt like I was constantly being watched, corrected, and treated like a child instead of a paying customer. For nearly **$300**, I expected a relaxing and professional spa experience. I had a great time at Wi Spa! I came without a reservation just to use the general spa. It was nicely laid out and felt very clean. My guest and I started by getting food. I got udon, which was delicious! We then went into the wet spa, which was a lovely experience. You shower first, and there were plenty of showers. The provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner all smelled really nice. Then, we went from the hot tub to the cold plunge, back to hot. Would definitely recommend trying the cold plunge, even if just for a little bit! The steam and dry saunas were a bit overwhelming for me, but that's just my vibe. If you like saunas, I think you'd love both! We went back upstairs to the co-ed area for the saunas there. My favorite was the clay one. The little clay balls were nice to lay on and kept the heat. I visited the spa on June 9, 2025. I'm a tall African American woman with a short haircut. As I walked in, the woman in the photo below yelled, "There are no men allowed." I looked directly at her and said, "I'm a woman." She laughed, then turned to her friend and began speaking in Spanish. The manager eventually corrected her once she realized what had happened. I had been staying at the spa nightly because my home is currently under renovation due to the Pasadena fires. The construction is expected to take about two months. I informed all of the management and even showed them my case documentation. On June 30, 2025, Victoria told me I couldn't stay on consecutive nights because "Wi Spa is not obligated to help fire victims." She was extremely dismissive and falsely accused me of threatening her simply because I stated that I would be reporting this discriminatory situation to the State of California and to the spa's leadership. She then called security to escort me out--all because I pointed out that the policy is flawed and discriminatory, as it is not enforced on Caucasian and Asian clientele. I have friends that's non black that's never heard of such rule and stay consecutive nights, ALL THE TIME. She walked away from me mid-conversation. I have reported this behavior on every platform. The way this company now operates is both disgraceful and shameful. In my opinion, Minu seems to be the youngest member of the management team, but he's the only one who truly demonstrates leadership, empathy, and common sense. He genuinely cares about the clientele. I ended up having a great conversation with him, during which I shared my information and explained my situation. He actually understands and is willing to work with individuals in my similar situation. Wi Spa used to be one of my favorite places--not anymore! It's sickening to see how little higher mgt. cares about the very people who helped you all reach the level of success, you have today. The staff has also gotten beyond prejudiced. I have attached pictures below of some of the staff who were the most rude. You've lost a loyal customer of 10 years due to your complete lack of care, compassion, and basic human decency during this difficult time. God forbid something like this ever happens to you--but when tragedy does strike, and it will, I hope you remember the individuals you once told, "We're not obligated to help." read more

This WAS my favorite spa in LA however since being abroad for so long I come back to find that there isn't a nail salon there even though it is advertised . To make matters worse , I asked for permission to get my pedicure done across the street and be right back so I could take advantage of the entry that I paid for and they denied my request stating once you're in you have 24 hours until you are no longer allowed to use the facilities . " I already have no concept of time and once she told me I figured out I had an hour to take advantage of my entry before I had to leave . this seriously threw off my plans and I found the staff to be absolutely foul to me. I won't be back to this overpriced spa. I spent like $300 and the massage wasn't that good and I found the food to be disgusting the ramen was gross and cheap like the stuff you buy for a quarter at the supermarket. I didn't like the other meals or food that I had there and the book selection was all in Asian languages I would have loved to read a book there and there wasnt any English books for me to choose from. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Cash was stolen from my locker at WI Spa. The locker was locked, yet somehow it was opened and ONLY the cash was taken. My cards and other belongings were left untouched. When I reported this to the staff, instead of offering help or attempting to investigate, I was told that it was "impossible." Impossible? Then please explain how money disappears from a locked locker. Cash doesn't just vanish. There was no accountability, no serious effort to investigate, and no attempt to resolve the situation. Just complete indifference. It honestly felt like this may not be the first time something like this has happened -- and no one wants to deal with it. I drove almost 5 hours from Phoenix to visit this spa and I was there 20 minutes before I packed up and left. I'm a regular Korean sauna goer (visiting many across the US), and used to be a regular at Wi Spa since 2015. Haven't been in 3 years. I was SO excited to come back as I hold it in high regard. Every sauna I go to has strict SAUNA ETIQUETTE and rules posted and enforced. Wi Spa does NOT. And they do not enforce spa etiquette in the sauna. If you are looking for somewhere to relax, this is not the place. People are allowed to loudly talk IN the different sauna rooms. In the clay room people were throwing the clay balls around, hitting other people. Kids were doing cartwheels in high traffic areas. Generally at most saunas, people are very quiet in the different sauna rooms, but go OUT into the common areas to talk and mingle so other guests can relax. The spa does not care and lets guests act however they want. Other people were visibly uncomfortable who were obviously trying to relax, and ended up just leaving the sauna rooms with groups of women talking loudly. I went from room to room looking for a quiet retreat and each one was a different hellscape of unruly loud people who clearly have never been to a real sauna before. I also had an incident in the locker room where I was disrobing and changing into the uniform, and a woman knocked into me, crowding me out of my locker, knocking my big water bottle over and then blocking my locker and belongings while I'm standing there with no shirt on awkwardly covered in water and she went about taking her time going through her stuff and glaring at me like I inconvenienced her and I told her I was there first and needed to access my shirt so I could finish and go upstairs and she refused to move until she was done, and even closed MY locker, locking it while I'm not even done. SAME thing happened when I attempted to leave. The people that go here are entitled, rude and selfish. Typically people wait so you can finish before accessing your locker because it's common courtesy. In any other sauna I have visited, there are a lot of locker room attendants that keep the peace, make sure cell phones are out of sight and people follow rules. There were no attendants to be found. I searched all over for someone to help me and one could not be found. Also the lockers had no hangers, and smelled really gross. Now, while people's behavior isn't necessarily the sauna's fault, the business isn't doing anything to prevent this type of experience. They don't care. They were kind enough to refund my money, but said "we'll look into it". I highly doubt that. If I'm going to drive over 5 hours, I'll just go to Imperial Spa in Vegas from now on. Also, the elevator did not work, I waited and waited and it never came. There was no sign posted either. I am recovering from an injury and had to walk up a LOT of stairs to get to the common area. The stairways SMELLED horrible. There was an overall "funk" around the whole place. Also I was VERY uncomfortable with how valet is handled. They told me to leave my car unlocked with the keys inside then they just walked away leaving my car unattended instead of personally taking the keys. That is wildly irresponsible. I had to sit and wait watching my car until it was parked and locked because I'm not leaving my brand new car with my suitcase inside unlocked with the keys inside in Los Angeles at night. I'll be brief because this spa has allot to offer for affordable price. They provide clothes, robes, and slippers. Due to privacy, I didn't take any interior photos. Most people visit to heal. It's unisex facility the upper level with multiple sauna options from salt rock to cold rooms. There's in house cafe that's a little pricey but worth it. There's variety on the menu. The locker rooms in the basement is nude only spa rooms and separated genders. The locker saunas have hot and cold tubs, showers, and saunas. They have all basic toiletries and towels provided. This is very much an Asian spa establishment that feels authentic. I will definitely visit here but not as often because this facility can get crowded. The service is accommodating but please respect the staff and other spa goers. They offer other services for extra fee. Otherwise, have a relaxing time! read more

I'm coming to Weed Mall for just over a decade When the facility was $25 to get into it seems like it was a lot cleaner where Mor managed and taken care of Slowly over the years I have seen it decline as being the top Korean spa in Los Angeles The tubs are always dirty and cloudy unless you go in there directly after they drain them They've completely got rid of the gym and are converting it to a hair salon And every other time I've been there for the last five years something is broken, whether that be one of the Jacuzzis, the cold plunge or one of the steam rooms or saunas. Has someone on the spectrum routine is everything. And it really is disheartening to see this place not being as well taken care of as it was when the entry fee was cheaper. I've been coming to Wi Spa for about 10 years, and one of the constants that keeps me coming back is the staff. Miguel, who works in the men's locker room area, is a great example of the hospitality Wi Spa is known for. He's warm, polite, hardworking, and always treats people with courtesy and respect. I honestly don't know if he's been here the entire decade I've been visiting, but it certainly feels that way. The valet, front desk, and attendants are all excellent, but Miguel embodies the professionalism and kindness that make Wi Spa such a welcoming place. The front desk was informative and welcoming. I try to do some research on what it was like to be here as a plus size person, and it was very difficult to find any information. I emailed ahead of time and disclose that I was plus size and had seen that they have a limited size clothing, and robes available. I was told via email, but I could bring my own clothing, robe and towel.. I brought my own things and it was perfect.. I was not prepared for the level of nakedness with the general public rooms for women, I was more comfortable than I expected to be. I was with my girlfriends and it was a new experience for us all. We had scheduled a sugar, scrub and bath, and it was quite interesting being slippery on a table and being rubbed down by aunties the treatment left my skin feeling really amazing. I am glad I have the personal experience of going there and I hope to try it out again in the future .
