Then 15 minutes later they told us the chicken breast wasn't available and asked if they could substitute with thigh, or we thought maybe that's what the guy said. They couldn't speak English and we couldn't speak Spanish. Go figure. Food was out 20 minutes after that. Seriously, I could've gotten something else that's not fast food and probably better for my arteries, within that time. What intrueged me was the yucca fries. I liked it but it lacked crunch, compared so some that I've had. Fries, omg probably the saddest, driest, limpiest, fries I've ever had. Even my toddler didn't like it (and he normally gobble up fries). The spicy chicken sandwich and grilled chicken were good. Crispy chicken on the fried + nice seasoning on the grilled. The chicken is the only reason I'm not giving this place a 1 or 2 stars.

It is wheelchair accessible, but there ate only booths, so I'm not sure of the wheelchair in either isle it would block the traffic.

Another thing I'm not used to was that they added the 3rd item on top of everything. I'm used to the third item being separated but surprised they all fit. Usually the places pack it too full that even 2 items won't close without overflow. They had a POS system instead of the old cash register so that was fancy, I still paid and tipped in cash. But you can also add tip to your total in the touchpad. It took me 10min to drive home and the food was still warm. It did leak a bit (not sure where the sauce came from) but I wish I waited for the fresh batch because the chicken was dry and tough, they all had great flavor other than the texture.

I don't know where they got the name for their fantastic Sycamore Sandwich, but it's a pastrami reuben with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut, and it very well could be the best I've had outside of New York. Thin, mostly lean pastrami stacked with Swiss cheese, coleslaw, and homemade Thousand Island dressing served hot on grilled rye bread. A heavenly handheld! The thin, crispy onion rings were cooked perfectly, to where the coating was almost falling off, and just oily enough to give moisture and flavor, but not greasy. The fresh, thin, hand cut fries were great by themselves but then add the beef chili and melted cheese, it could be a great meal by itself. Don't forget the Patty Melt, too. Old fashioned, comfort food that you order at the counter or drive through that's worth a side trip if you're anywhere close (or even not close) to Pasadena.

Pros: Deals Cons: Served moldy bread and convicts or gangsters work here Wienerschnitzel has some nifty deals like 99 cents for corn dogs. This Garvey El Monte franchise was terrible. I ordered chili dogs and upon inspecting it, there were mold on the bread.YUCK! I end up trashing it, though I would demand exchange for new ones but knowing how people are easily pissed off, I don't want any poison in my food. I don't usually judge people by their looks as first impression but after having seeing served rotten food, makes me think twice about them. There were two dudes who were heavily tattooed working there...looks like convicts or gangs. Never coming back to this shitty place. read more

My experience at Wienerschnitzel was disappointing. The meal was of poor quality, with the hot dogs and chips feeling bland and flavorless. The service was slow and chaotic, resulting in a long wait. The eating room was disheveled, and the general cleanliness of the institution left much to be desired. Furthermore, the cost seemed exorbitant given the mediocre food and service.
