We stopped in for a corn dog and chili cheese burger. Clean inside and staff was friendly and nice. Food was good. Hadn't been to one of these in like 10 years! Will come back. Oh got the strawberry lemonade and was super yum

Parking: parking situation is a bit tricky since the drive thru lines are long they sometimes block parking spots. Nothing crucial but definitely a bit annoying. Food/inside the restaurant: the food was as good as I remembered it. Worth waiting for. It's best if you get off and order but I will say...it's tiny inside the restaurant. They have a total of 5 tables inside to dine in. 3 tables that sit 4 people and 2 tables that sit 2 people. The workers were happy to help. Happy to deliver. Happy in general. We will definitely be coming back for more.

Wienerschnitzel, Wienerschnitzel, this must be the place. You drive right up and they stuff a hotdogs right into your face! So went the Wienerschnitzel TV jingle from the latec1960s. That was back when Wienerschnitzel's drive-thrus split the A-frame building. Wienerschnitzel once operated a restaurant in Boise in the early 1980s but it closed long ago. I was glad to see the Irvine, California, company open a new restaurant, this time in Meridian, this week. I arrived on opening day at about 11:30 a.m. There were only two people in the line ahead of me. A couple of hours later, as word spread, it took people more than an hour. I had a chile dog and a Fanta orange float. The chili dog was as good as I remember it at age 10, the last time I ate at Wienerschnitzel. The only negative was watching the manager run around like his head was cut off, and that was only an hour and a half after the restaurant opened. I can't imagine what he was like at the end of a long, grueling opening day. He didn't make eye contact and did not welcome anyone to his new restaurant. Very surprising for a company opening its first Idaho location after the original Boise location closed nearly 40 years ago. Most restaurants and stores have people outside wellcoming guests, especially when there's a long opening week line.

Kicking and screaming we came here tonight for a quick bite...I will start off by saying I really don't like hot dogs so that's the kicking and screaming part. But in a pinch we decided to relive our childhood growing up. This is as everyone knows is newer to the area and for those of us that grew up eating here know exactly what you are going to get. Inside was nice and modern not like the places back home. Service was also good and the young guy taking our order was very friendly. The only hiccup is they forgot my fries which good that we dined in and didn't get all the way home... Food is just like I remember and tasted the same. That's the secret in my opinion. My wife loves this place and is her guilty pleasure, but for me it's just a hot dog and as I stated earlier not really my thing. She had the chili cheese dogs and I had the Chicago dog with a chili cheese dog. Food was done well and brought me back a little. I hope this place does well and keeps it going. It was great to see while not a huge fan of chain restaurants especially fast food. But not like the other chains this is unique in away is they specialize in hot dogs and for those of you vegetarians they have a couple options as well.

Front side part of the Restaurant, patiently waiting for our food.

My mom wanted a burger, specifically a Guacamole Bacon Burger and fries, and we were in the neighborhood, having just left Rave. We went through the drive-thru and placed the order. We were shocked at the total, which came to nearly $17.00, but understood that in this economy and with grocery prices, it was what it was. We arrived at the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I knew that they cooked everything to order, but it felt like an eternity had passed since paying. Finally, the order was ready and we went home. Not only was I disappointed with the burger, but I was upset that what we paid for and the time we spent did not equal what we received. The amount of Guacamole was like a spread, and there was no deft to that burger. For the amount that we paid, that burger should have been loaded. My mom made the most appropriate comment, " Honey, Somebody shrunk my burger!" We won't be back, but at least I have my memories of a time long ago, in which Main Street made delicious burgers made with love and care and stacked with all the fixings just like in my pictures.

Sometimes it can get busy at lunch and there are only so many tables to be had. The menu is short, but they have been delivering great burgers for a long time. Stopped in today and split a burger with the main squeeze. We had the Five Alarm burger. The burgers are 1/3lb and the meat had great flavor. No real heat for us, but some could find it spicy. Pickled jalapenos are hit and miss for heat anyway. Toasted bun and a good amount of toppings on the burger. The onion rings were tasty and fried perfectly. Buying a soda gets you one refill. Plenty of food for two seniors, I think.

Needless to say, I was thrilled to discover we have one right here in Meridian, Idaho! I've visited several times now, so it was definitely time to give credit where credit is due. The service is always amazing--friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. This location is tucked inside a Fast Eddy's Chevron, and if you're a snack lover, you've found your happy place! They have everything from trendy Dubai chocolates to a huge variety of Asian snacks and treats. I could easily spend way too much time browsing the aisles. There are also plenty of Buy 2, Get 1 FREE deals throughout the store, and let's be honest--they had me at FREE. One thing I especially appreciate is how clean the facility is. Even the restrooms are well-maintained, and I loved seeing a sign asking customers to let staff know if they find them dirty. That level of pride and accountability says a lot about a business. Whether you're stopping in for one of Earl's delicious sandwiches, grabbing gas, or on the hunt for fun snacks and treats, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll be adding this review to Fast Eddy's as well because both businesses deserve the recognition! ) Sadly, there are no sandwich photos because I inhaled it before I could grab my phone. I ordered the Tuna Melt, and while it may not be winning any low-calorie awards, it was absolutely worth every bite! They also carry a delicious honey Dijon mustard that I love adding to my sandwich--it gives it the perfect sweet and tangy kick. Sometimes you just have to live a little, and this sandwich definitely did not disappoint!

We tried a mix of meats, and there was plenty to like. The pulled pork stood out as the best of the bunch--tender, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for from good BBQ. The spicy BBQ sauce was a highlight too: it's got a real kick--hot in a fun, nostalgic way, like a high school pool party where things get a little wild but in the best sense. The tri-tip was decent, though it leaned a bit young and could've benefited from a touch more time or seasoning to really shine. The chicken was cooked nicely--juicy and not overdone--but felt like it needed a little extra smoky pizzazz to stand out. On the plus side, the buns were excellent across the board, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. Service was top-notch--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Overall, a really pleasant lunch spot with some strong offerings and a great atmosphere. I'd say it would absolutely earn a nod of approval from my  St. Louis BBQ grandpa and his crew from Wells-Goodfellow--satisfying, honest barbecue with a few standout bites and a good time to go with it.

It's a nice sports bar theme, but also welcoming and cozy. Once we sat down, a server came over immediately with menus. It seemed like she was the only server though, which made me feel badly for her...she never stopped moving the entire time we were there with taking orders, serving, refilling drinks, taking payments, etc. We had a party of four - I ordered the "Hail Mary" (2 patties, onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, American cheese and pickles), hubby had the double steak burger and my friends ordered "The Big Hurt" and "Bullet Work". Bonus points for having multiple fries options (regular, garlic, French fry dippers and sweet potato), but unfortunately for me, they were out of sweet potato. Food came out relatively quickly and everything looked pretty delicious. My burger was bigger than I expected, which I appreciated. The onion ring was the perfect size for the patty and the drizzle of BBQ sauce was enough to flavor the burger without drowning it. The only downside was that the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the cheese was barely melted. The patties had some nice, crispy edges and the bun was soft even though it was toasted. It might have been bumped up a notch with some mayo on the bun, an extra slice of cheese and lettuce, but overall, it was a nice, very filling, burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned, slightly battered and the fry sauce was a great compliment. Everyone finished their meals and raved about how much they liked their burgers. Due to the one server taking care of so many tables, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Thankfully the water glasses were enormous and I luckily made it through dinner with just enough to drink. We would definitely visit again to check out all the great options on this menu!
