We had a few pizza options in Kauai and chose Wiki based on other reviews. It came down to Wiki or "the sandbox". But, since the sandbox only allows guest from 1 HB hotel to order take out, Wiki it was. Had the Hawaiian with a side ceasar salad. So good and better than average. This may be the best pizza in Hawaii. The dough was light, airy, crispy, perfection. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, sweet, beautiful, food was perfectly executed. We were blown away by the flavor of the pizza and generous toppings. The sauce accomplished "the perfect pizza sauce" profile: sweet, salty, savory, well balanced, perfect. We asked for extra. Perhaps the surprise star of the show was the ranch dressing - wow it tasted homemade, we were blown away by the quality. Lots of dill and garlic. There was no ingredient spared on this pizza. Truly well made, we would come back to Kauai just for this to be honest. We ordered the Shuka shuka and that was a very good decision. But even more so, the service was brilliant, very fast and personalized. We were impressed. If I was rating just the view I would give it 5 stars but unfortunately the food and service didn't match... poor service may be related to understaff, possibly because over half the restaurant was "out of service".. in regards to service there was a lacking of waiting on our table, we had to fill our own water cups... we asked for our check and with no staff we gave up waiting and went to the entrance to get our check and pay...food was delivered fast but I would say it was subpar.. had the garlic knots which was more of bread knots sitting in a pool of butter with tons of grated Parmesan (where was the garlic flavor) and then we built a pizza with bacon and chicken... DONT GET ThE CHICKEN... had the funny reheated taste.... read more

Fantastic pizza! We've been waiting for this place to reopen for 10 years and happy it finally came to life! A beautiful view overlooking Hanalei Bay with limited seating. I believe it's a parking issue as the Hanalei Bay Resort Hotel & Happy Talk Restaurant cannot accommodate any more visitors with another restaurant thus pizza takeout and a few tables. Thin crust pizza was our choice with great fresh toppings and a reasonable price for the win!! Parking is free valet but yes you should please tip unless you are just picking up a to go order. Notify valet of your intentions and they simply ask you to pull over while you pick up your food order. A delicious and tasty option! Sorry no photos we were too busy enjoying the pizza! When your staying in Princeville it seems like your only food options are the restaurants in the resorts, but if your a fellow Yelper like myself sometimes your research leads you to something unique. Wiki pizza is indeed located in another resort; however, they are serving up thin crust NY style pies which are reminiscent of something you would find in a big city. Hand tossed dough that is thin and crispy, pepperoni's that curl up into little cups when baked, and some unusual pie options make this a stand out in the area. Although their dining room was under renovations when I ordered, the views into Hanalei bay were incredible with the sun beginning to get low in the horizon. Only suggestion would be to add a little more cheese to the pie as I like mine on the medium-greasy side. Would definitely recommend dining here once renovations are completed and giving yourself a break from the stereotypical resort food. read more

I know it's popular, but it's a bit over rated. The garlic knots were really good. But the pizza was average. Super greasy. The 1 thing they do have however is an amazing view. If you're in the mood for pizza and not expecting to be blown away, it's a solid choice with a scenic experience. If you're looking for great pizza, proceed with caution I guess. We didn't try pizza anywhere else on the island so can't really say how it compares. read more

First, this is takeout only. The dining area is closed, for the next 12 months or so, according to the worker there. The spicy Sicilian "deep dish" was ok, not great. Crust is very, very light. Not what we were expecting. Quite spicy. I thought it was ok; wife thought it was too spicy. Wow! I'm so proud of these guys. I remember when they first started out and delivered to us in Princeville (when we lived here). They started small with just take out and now grew into such an epic space at HBR. The pizza is some of the best and I just got back from NYC! First restaurant we came to in Kauai and I would say it was the happiest my family was with a meal on the island. We ate here and the food was ok... we ordered garlic knots and a few were rather tiny and hard... if you effectively arm wrestle the fam for the big ones you are in for a treat... it's unfortunate the size and quality of the knots is so different (I wish I had taken a pic)... we also had pizza - the one with pineapple - it was fine... but when we are spoiled by Pete's Pizza in Northern California it's hard to compete :) read more

It's part of a resort, we went at night so it wasn't as pretty as during the day overlooking Hanalei bay. The restaurant is beautiful though, very pretty. Food overall.. we didn't feel the value for it held up. Charged 38 for a large, the rock pizza. It tasted decent but nothing to write home about. If it was 30 for a large or cheaper, I feel like it could be worth it but it didn't excite any of our tastebuds eating it. It looks great in photos, taste wasn't worth it. read more
