Sometimes there's a wait. Smaller place. Worth it though. You can grab a to go coffee at the coffee bar while you wait. There is seating at the breakfast bar. Kinda cool but you better hope the person next to you is friendly and doesn't eat with their mouth open because your close up and personal with them. Great for small chit chat. Alcoholic coffee are amazing and mimosas are perfect. Haven't had a bad drink ever here. Breakfast burrito is huge and stuffed with goodness. French toast ohh la la. Her 'go to' restaurant used to be Bob Evans but since our first visit to Wild Eggs she has switched. She loves the attention she gets since being a 'regular' and the pancakes. My experience with this place is great every time. I have never been disappointed. There are numerous items on the menu that I would recommend. To be specific, I will start with the French Toast. That is some of the best bread that you'll ever put in your mouth. I will also recommend the pancakes. They big and think so kudos to anyone that is able to finish them. My last recommendation is the Mr. Potato Casserole. I get it with a scrambled egg and I have never been disappointed. I have gotten this dish at least 5 times. There are several other dishes that are just as amazing but you'll have to try it for yourself. As for the prices, this place is very reasonable. I've visited twice and enjoyed the food both times. I like that the dishes come with a lot of culinary creativity. A great mixture of ingredients that gets the tastebuds curious and anxious. Freshly squeezed OJ - in my opinion you can't beat that. Their speciality coffee drinks are really good - didn't taste watered down like some places. I had the Derby Brown (I think that's the name) during my first visit - slammin! And, the second visit I ordered an omelette dish. Omelettes comes with 4 eggs - too many for me - so a half order is possible. It was VERY good. Both times the customer service was really good. The Waite staff were very congenial, friendly, on-point, and knowledgeable of the menu offerings. I'm pretty big on quality customer service, as I believe that's what it takes to gain repeat (and new) customers. With that being said, I will visit a third, fourth, fifth, etc...time! read more

Visited this establishment on a Sat morning. When we arrived there was a 20 minute wait but it quickly went up to 45 minute as several more groups arrived after we put our name on the list. You can get free coffee while you wait, so that helps. It is a nice looking restaurant open and bright and the menu offers some interesting options that you will not find other places, so that makes it unique. The food was very good, and the portion sizes are large. We ordered the Mr. Potato Head and the breakfast burrito, both had very good flavor and some spice. The burrito comes with black beans, potatoes and a nice salsa on top. Mr. Potato Head, was a potato casserole, topped with chorizo, cheese sauce and an egg. I would order either one again, but there were several more options that I would want to order and try. I would have given Wild Eggs 4 stars, except for the service. Our waiter had too many tables, and it was difficult to get his attention. I was originally served the wrong dish and had to wait several minutes to wave down the waiter to correct; once I got his attention it was taken care of quickly. The table next to us only got one of their orders, so one person ended up not eating. It may have been an off day, so I would give them benefit of the doubt. The food is interesting enough, that I will go back and give them another try on the service. read more

Came for breakfast on a Sunday around 9:30-10. Had to wait about 20 minutes which wasn't bad at all. They have a coffee station up front for you to enjoy while you wait! We've been to this location many times before and it is always consistently good. The staff is always kind and responsive. Today I tried the Farmer's market skillet. It was made with fresh veggies! I loved it so much I forgot to snap a picture. Most items on the menu come with a muffin and I always enjoy saving it for later! Several years ago, we made trips to downtown Louisville to eat at Wild Eggs. We used to ask when they were going to open a store in Indiana. Back then we really enjoyed our visits. Fast forward to today and the Jeffersonville location. We have visited the Jeff location a few times since its opening. Unfortunately, while we have enjoyed one item or another at times, there has been inconsistencies on each visit. This location seems particularly stingy with gravies and sauces. Example: Today I ordered the Bennie Eggs Benedict. On one of the eggs, the Hollandaise Sauce was less than a teaspoon full. The English Muffins were a little tough. I also had the grits of the day, which were maple bacon. The grits were very tasty, but they were about room temperature when they were served. I asked my server to take them back and nuke them. The server very graciously said she would bring me a whole new serving. When the new serving of grits arrived, they were marginally warmer than the first serving. On a positive note, my grandson ordered the Pumpkin Spice pancakes. They were awesome. Great taste and they were served piping hot. The syrup and whipped cream were adequate which really added to the enjoyment. read more

Went here the day after Forecastle finale and couldn't have been more pleased. Had the Ky Brown and the grits of the day (3 cheese). The Brown had a perfectly cooked over easy egg on top and had the delicious mixture of flavors topped with smoked paprika- which was the perfect capper. I also got the cinnamon rolls - get one for your table and it's perfect. A great experience all the way around. read more

I just recently started going to brunch spots and this one is my absolute favorite. I love the food which is definitely elevates your ordinary breakfast. You will stop going to IHOP and Bob Evans after leaving this establishment. My only gripe is the exceedingly long wait but they can only do so much about that. Its on average, a 40 minute wait but worth it in my opinion. I will give it 5 stars once I can walk and be seated or have to only wait a more reasonable amount of time. This was the perfect place to pop my brunch cherry! A couple of my co-workers and I decided that we needed to get into gear and hit this sucker up for some yummy nom noms so we showed up around noon and, because they were super packed we had to wait about 30 minutes to get inside, what kind of sucks is that they don't allow you to call ahead for a same day res, but like I said it's not a bad area and they give you a pager so that you know when your table is ready. The location of the restaurant is still up and coming with businesses and construction (aren't we all sick of that C word?) The inside is gorgeous and has plenty of space available for customers to sit and eat. Which is good, but there will most likely still be a wait to get your breakfast/brunch/lunch on. Out buzzer finally goes off and we are seated at a table on the center left of the room. This was great because we didn't have to be in the sun directly and we could see the entirety of the room. In the far right corner a huge round table that would easily seat 10 people and would be great if you're having a group of people out for brunch. There are different egg paintings around the room, the lamps looked kind of like eggs and even the salt and pepper shakers were eggs! Our waitress shows up and tells us that the coffee of the day was vanilla bean. We all ordered one and I also got a mimosa as well, knowing about their killer house-made orange juice. After a moment of perusing the menu I figured out what I wanted to eat. I went with the Kelsy Ky. Hot Brown. It had an egg on top of bacon, turkey, a piece of toast and smothered with gravy. It came out HOT! The little pan that it came out in was so hot that I was unable to touch it for at least 10 minutes. Once I was able to dig in I immediately fell in love and it made it even better washing it down with the mimosa. The bacon was crispy, the turkey was moist, the egg was cooked perfectly(over medium) and the slight crunch of the bread with gravy sopped up into it was amazing! The mimosa was the perfect blend of bubbly to orange juice. It's quite obvious that everyone here cares about the quality of food and drink that comes out, even down to a simple cup of coffee. I love that this place is in my hometown of Jeffersonville and that it's so close to work. I popped my brunch cherry and got a taste of #YuppyLife and I love it! I got the chicken and waffles. It came with a little bacon as well. I was super happy the buffalo sauce was on the side because I wouldn't have been able to eat my food otherwise. Way too hot for me. I couldn't identify the other sauce so I looked it up. It was buttermilk maple syrup. It was stil pretty unidentifiable. It came with sides of regular syrup but no butter. Wild Eggs has redefined what a breakfast restaurant should be. I have been to their other locations probably about 10 or 15 times in the past 3 years - but this one is pretty much in my backyard. This is DANGEROUS. Typically I try to avoid going to brand new locations in the first few weeks - it seems like they need some time to iron things out. Not Wild Eggs - I've been here twice, and my wife three times - in the first three weeks. The same quality standard they have set is in full force here. Every time I come, I have such a hard time choosing something because everything on the menu looks so good, and is so creative and unique. I swear, every time I notice something on the menu that I don't remember seeing last time. This time I had the Mexico City Maria's Chilaquiles with chicken. It was one of the best dishes I've had here. It's incredibly flavorful, and the shot of jugo de limon y chile really adds to the dish - it is incredibly intense and will melt your face off if you're not careful. I don't think I've ever been served a shot of anything with breakfast but it seemed to make sense here. Some of my friends ordered things I have to try next - such as the Breakfast Tots (with chorizo queso) and the Country Fried Steak. Can't wait to go back again! read more

So excited that there is a Wild Eggs in Indiana now! I have actually been to this new location twice already. What can I say? I love brunch. As my boyfriend and I make our way around to try lots of the brunch spots around Louisville, we have decided that for the price, Wild Eggs isn't actually at the top of the list. Don't get me wrong. The food is good. Great sometimes. Nice clean place, good atmosphere. But there is almost always a wait and the tab seems to be just a little too much for egg dishes in my opinion... Sometimes I think my BF wants to go just for the fresh OJ, which is pretty phenomenal. I love the breakfast nachos, they are gluttonous in all the right ways. However, the last time I was there, there was a big long hair in mine which makes them a little less appealing now. We have been here a few times. The food was always good but the service is horrible. We went in on a Friday morning. It wasn't busy at all but it took forever to get our drinks and food. Our Waitress (Evan) was too busy on her phone and talking to other staff members. The table next to us walked out due to the waiter forgetting about them. He brought them drinks and never went to get their food order. We could see our waitress on her phone and talking to the staff for over 20min. Went there Saturday morning around 9:30. There was a wait. No problem there. We were a party of 6 it's not unusual to wait a little longer for a table. The problems were after the food came. They brought everyone's food but my pancake and my moms waffle. I reminded the waitress I got a single pancake (it was an upcharge to substitute for a muffin). I was told "I'm going to get it now". There was a lone muffin on the table. I assume the order was put in wrong. My mom cut into her waffle and noticed the butter hadn't melted at all. She felt it and it was cold. She sent it back. The lady who brought out our food seemed bothered that we didn't just eat our cold waffle. I again checked on my pancake and was told it was coming. I cut in to my Katie's Benedict and it was cold. Poached eggs cold is not something I wanted to eat. I sent it back with the person who brought out my moms hot waffle. How could a restaurant with a wait possibly have time to let food get cold? I was astonished. They brought out a plate to me about 1 minute later and said they had taken it from someone else's order. It was warm but not hot but I was too hungry to argue. Everyone was finishing up their food and my pancake arrived just in time to be put into a to go container. It was my birthday and I was hoping for a better dining experience. To top it all off nobody offered to discount anything even though we had 2 meals that were cold and a side that arrived almost the same time as the check.
