My domestic partner, also known as my wife, loves wild eggs. I first learned about this via Yelp. And now, my wife is hooked. Where else can you get a delicious breakfast and a Bloody Mary? It's like IHOP/waffle House/Cracker Barrel on steroids.

The food at Wild Eggs is absolutely delicious and totally worth the wait! The staff is super nice and helpful if you have any questions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just a heads-up, the entrance can be a bit tricky, and parking can be a challenge since it's quite crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Try entering from different sides of the street--you might have some luck![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is fantastic. But, you know, you have to see it for yourself. I'm a big fan of all the Eggs Benedict plates, having tried them all at some point. They really take pride in their food, and it's almost perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking can be a bit of a pain, especially on weekends and holidays, so be ready to wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But sometimes, you might get lucky and find a spot right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do have limited hours, so plan accordingly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Best of luck!

We went there yesterday for brunch. I ordered the mad platter. I got 3 egg whites, tater tots which are the best, 6 slices of crispy bacon, a well-done pancake, and a muffin to go. My wife ordered coffee, orange juice, 1 pancake, and crispy bacon. Everything came out perfect. Their food always comes out perfect. I usually go to the Westport village location but I went to the Dupont location because I got an oil change next door. Would return.

Delicious and fresh. The omelette came with 2 oz containers of pico de gallo, avocado, sour cream and green onions. 2 slices of rye toast. I chose a side of fruit. Ordered take out and chose to bring it to the car. Service was quick and pleasant.

The server was fun and friendly and used an handheld electronic ordering device to input each customization and read them back to the group. All 14 of us got just what we wanted and ordered!! The cinnamon roll skillet is delicious (we shared it as a table bread) - my omlette and sourdough toast were amazing as was the orange pineapple juice!! Everyone loved their meal! If you are looking for a good brunch spot with a wide selection of "gluten-friendly" items, I highly recommend Wild Eggs. I recently tried the French toast, and not only was it delicious, the toast had the look, feel, and texture of regular bread. I also got a large order of delicious and crispy bacon. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. My husband ate off the regular menu and got the taco salad. It was huge and he said it was delicious. I especially love that you can make reservations. We arrived on time for ours and did not have to wait.

Breakfast yesterday here with a friend. I had biscuits and gravy and two eggs on the side over hard. The biscuits and gravy come with either a bacon gravy, which is like a traditional white sausage, type gravy or a chorizo gravy and I got half-and-half. I thought that it would come one gravy poured over one biscuit and the other gravy poured over the other biscuit, but it was The biscuits mixed on one plate and the sauce was poured over half of the plate and the other half on the other half of the plate. I'm one of those people that don't like certain things to touch, so I should have been more clear and asked specifically, now that I think about it for the gravy on the side, but I was able to eat my meal happily half down the plate and then I turned and ate the other half of the plate. The biscuits were good. I think there were three in total under the gravy and I like both gravy choices, but I do actually prefer the more traditional bacon gravy. The eggs over hard were cooked perfectly. My friend had the loco hash and she loved it and I think that was the first time she had tried that one. Service was terrific!! Coffee is always great here. Is it weird that I like that this location is right next to the hospital and I hope that people that are spending time at a hospital for their family have the opportunity to come next-door and have a good meal???

The wifey and I were feeling some breakfast with the family. We saw some good reviews for this location and decided to give it a shot. We got right in and got seated. After we ordered our food, it also took a good chunk of time to receive the food. We waited for ours to get cold as we didn't get any silverware. (Not a major deal I guess. Food was nice to look at. Would have been nice to eat though!) after 3 minutes we got our silverware and we were in there like swimwear. I would say overall the food was ok. I wouldn't say it was a game changer, but it wasn't bad. Maybe I just got the wrong food? I tried the potato head casserole. After looking at the bill, I felt that it was overpriced for the smaller breakfast portions. This turned me off from the place personally. Parking lot is super rough as well, as you either need to cut through the Meineke or take the rowdy bump from Dutchmans lane. Don't bring your lowered car :)

I have been to Wild Eggs at other location. This place is my first time visiting. The parking lot is quite small but I had no problems to find parking. I do enjoyed the meal that I ordered Buffalo Chicken Omlette. I do enjoyed the coffee. My family did enjoy it. The waitress was nice and friendly

Food is AMAZING, serving is lacking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate on a Wednesday morning during holiday break and it was quite busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We skipped the long line as we made reservations, which we really appreciated. The server was really nice but it took probably 5 minutes to greet our table and even longer to bring out plain coffee. We got our food but no silverware (this happened to two other tables nearby too) and took a while to get the check. No water refills or check ins otherwise either. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the vibe was causal and buzzing, and other patrons were kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time here. You walk in and this place is packed but they have ample seating. As I look around it looks kind of dirty from the vents to the floor. My wife went with the lemonade mimosa and the House made Cinnamon rolls. While I'm working on eating better so I choose the Old fashioned Oatmeal. This is kind of a Military Friendly location.

Wild Eggs, what can I say about Wild Eggs other than DELICIOUS?! The food is absolutely fabulous and there are innovative dishes on the menu (i.e. breakfast nachos) and everything is so good! I have ordered practically everything on the menu but my hands down favorite is Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict, it's spicy and delicious. The restaurant is always packed so be prepared to wait, it's worth it! read more

Ive never been here, but I've heard great things from friends. I first noticed that All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Our server was so kind and informative about the menu. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros which were delicious, and massive. My parents ordered massive four egg omelettes which they said were fluffy and delicious. We also ordered a cinnamon roll that melted in our mouths. Overall, this was an excellent brunch experience! I'll have to come back. read more

We came here for burger week and it was fine. We ordered just the burger for lunch and though there was very minimal people waiting, it took over 30 minutes. The burger was cooked well and it was a filling burger. It was served warm, not hot, but overall a good burger. read more

Great experience! They have some of the best bloody Mary's. I order mine extra spicy. I branched our and tried the buffalo chicken omelette, it was so good and unique! They allowed me to substitute bacon as the side (instead of potatoes and muffin). My boyfriend got the country fried steak and and it was so good! read more

My first time at this location, parking is about nonexistent. Got there about 11:30 on Friday with a 45min wait. Personally I was fine to leave and eat elsewhere but it was someone else's choice to stay. Standard Wild Egg offerings, in the 45min wait I had decided on the BLT $10 but once we sat down I saw a bacon mac&cheese with an egg...I should have stuck with my original choice. My lunch partner had the eggs benny with a "large" apple juice (more on that later) My egg was cooked to order and was tasty, the mac&cheese was mushy and the bacon was just piled on top with some melted cheese like a big hard lid on top of the soggy mac :( The waitress kept the water full but she just came and dropped the bill on me without any direction on if it was 1 check or 2. And she made no reappearance until I finally put out the card - seriously I waited like 15 mins. So I paid $10 for my meal and $16 for my friend...because that large glass of apple juice was seriously over $5!!! Please, I could have bought a couple of bottles for that price. I understand that the OJ is fresh squeezed but this was out of the container with no refill...I told my friend we weren't leaving till he finished that glass ;) read more

This is my go-to breakfast spot while in Louisville. I have been to many different locations and they are very consistent across the board. It's kind of your standard breakfast fare, but they do have a rather large menu. My normal dish is the corned beef hash. I wouldn't say anything is unbelievably good. Just solid, reliable breakfast food. Actually, I take that back. There is one thing here that I dream about. This may sound a bit weird, but the everything muffin is legit the best muffin I have ever had. It's like an everything bagel in fresh, warm muffin form. Make sure you get one of these with your meal. Many entrees come with one, but I get an extra to take with me as well. It's that good. read more

My wife and I decided to stop here after my morning surgery. I was just starving (lol). Hadn't eaten since a full day ago. So I wanted something awesome and I remembered that I loved the other Wild Eggs. I ordered and omelet with two pancakes. Somehow I feel like I over ordered as I can't remember how big those pancakes were (lol). But I'm my omelette I had sausage, onions, peppers and spinach( yummy - Ace Ventura voice.) Food took a bit to come out but no big deal. However my wife had a hair in her potatoes so those had to be replaced and then I noticed a hair on my pancake! Our waiter was super nice and did make sure to have them re-made and I was able to take them to go. They did take some money off of our bill so this is a great step to resolve but I believe they will get it resolved whatever the issue may be. I will say one other thing that I noticed. Even with all of the issues, the manager never came out to talk to us or anything, but oh well, no biggie, just odd. Overall it was a pretty good experience. My omelette was good but I wish that they put more meat in it, as more egg and onions and peppers, barely knew any sausage was in there. read more

This was my first time ever going to wild eggs. The costumer service was good, I ordered the Potato Head with my egg sunny side up . Unfortunately they brought my food to me with an extremely undercooked egg and a hair in my food. After politely asking to get it remade, they brought me back a SUPER SALTY meal. I was very unsatisfied with my food and didn't even finish it. I just drink my water and left. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone!! read more

Good food, good service, not too loud of an atmosphere, but way WAY overpriced! We went to Wild Eggs for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The host said it would be a 20 minute wait but we got sat within 5. The server was friendly and carried a positive energy. My husband asked for a small OJ but received a large OJ. I got the coffee of the day thinking it was a flavored coffee, which it is with whip cream. I ordered the Farmer's Market Skillet, asked for easy on the cheese, and looked forward to all the veggies. You can customize the eggs however you like - I got scrambled. It had a TON of tiny potatoes with a few broccoli/zucchini/squash. This meal comes with a muffin. My husband had the chicken egg quesadilla. He said "It was alright. It was good, but not great." The guacamole is fresh. The OJ is fresh. The Bill (with tip) = $42. We won't be back for a long while. It's not realistic to eat on that kind of bill for 1 meal. read more

If you need a place to start your day or have a business meeting this is the place to do that. The food is outstanding. Service was excellent. Each time I have eaten here I have always enjoyed it and I try to do something new each time. This go around was the buffalo omelette with egg beaters and fruit with a glass of ice tea. A favorite of mine. Fixed the way I wanted it. The service was great even as they were slammed. Great place to eat. They are not pushy either. read more

Bowling Green, Ky I have 3 gift cards I tried to use and was told they have a new system and they are not able to honor them at this time. They admitted the cards were not expired so I would think if the cards are not expired they could issue new cards that can be used. I was told to keep checking back to see if their new system will let them honor them at a later date. Really I'm just suppose to keep checking with them in hopes I can use gift cards they issued and received money for??? read more

I can personally say that I LOVE Wild Eggs. I first visited Wild Eggs down in Lexington, but hadn't gone to one here in Louisville before. With my dad and grandmother visiting over the weekend, we decided to grab some grub before going to the fair. Disclosure: My dad and grandmother are old school when it comes to breakfast. We didn't have a long wait at all for it to have been a Saturday morning and were seated promptly. The first thing that we asked for was coffee. My dad gets a little fancy with his coffee (wonder where I get it from) and wanted a bit of caramel flavoring with his cup of Joe which he loved. My granny was delighted that the coffee was hot (who likes luke warm coffee, lol). As my grandmother combed over the menu (she doesn't eat pork), the waitress was so patient with us. She realized that we were waiting on her to order and came over to see if she could help her decide what to order. When she mentioned that she didn't eat pork, but what she wanted came with bacon the waitress told her that she could have whatever she wanted and that everything was cooked to order. My grandmother smiled and began to order her food. When the food came we all became quiet...because we were stuffing our faces. The food was delicious. My dad who is on the health conscious side of things was pleased with his egg whites and veggies, my ky hot brown was fire, and my grandmother was shocked at how big her pancake was. My rating for Wild Eggs would be a 4 star the food along, but the customer service and the pressure free environment (for the people that take forever to order) is what makes it a 5 star experience. read more

Wild Eggs is a restaurant I frequent for brunch any weekend I can. They have a fun and flavorful menu, with options for anyone! They also offer many gluten-free options for those who need it. The service is always great and they offer some wonderful Mimosas and Bloody Mary's depending on how you like to "brunch". The building is clean and they just redid their bathrooms. I do recommend getting their before 10am on a Saturday or Sunday if you don't like to wait. But they do offer free delicious coffee while you do. read more

Always love having breakfast here. The food is always fresh for the most part and the restaurant is clean. Staff is usually very friendly and the service is great too. It can get busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings so it's best to get there before the crowd. Overall it's a great experience with great breakfast food. read more

My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I came here two Fridays ago ahead of a bourbon tour (thinking, correctly, that we should probably have a hearty meal beforehand so we didn't end up face-first in a gutter somewhere). Several Kentucky natives told us that we had to try a Hot Brown during our visit, and since it was literally created at the Brown Hotel, this seemed like the logical spot. The actual Hotel has some gorgeous interiors, especially upstairs in the lobby. We didn't see that area until after our meal, so when we laid eyes on the Lobby Bar & Grill, we knew immediately that that was where we SHOULD have gone for this Hot Brown dish. J. Graham's, I'm sorry to say, doesn't have the history and personality of the rest of the building and just looks like a generic breakfast spot you'd find in any hotel. It probably exists solely because the other dining options in the hotel aren't open until later and they want to give tourists and their own customers a place to eat at all times of the day, which isn't a terrible reason in my book. But it's also unfortunately not very good, and the dirty walls and overall meh appearance of the establishment just make it very clear that the hey day for this hotel overall was decades ago. The service was the biggest miss here. Our waitress was scatterbrained, often not around or around but hanging out with co-workers or talking up other customers. It was honestly pretty mystifying because when she DID come by, she was often overly apologetic and trying to make amends. But the best way to make amends is not to have to keep doing that throughout the meal. She forgot my friend's coffee (didn't write anything down when we ordered, which is fine if you remember everything but...) and when my chum asked what was in the hummus (one of just three apps), she didn't know and had to go ask someone in the kitchen. That's arguably a nitpick and she DID try to figure it out, but the lunch menu is pretty small and it was a little odd that her menu knowledge was that limited. The bigger problem was that we were in there for over half an hour longer than we wanted to be because she wouldn't come by our table. I actually actively looked for her on the way to the bathroom so I could remind her to come to our table, but instead found her off to the side gossiping with other staff. Not a good look at all. So this might have been an overall positive experience if some of the hospitality from the hotel had spilled over here. We actually both enjoyed the apps, which were the only real positives of the experience. The Bourbon Barrel Fries and the Two Timer, featuring Smoked Bourbon Hummus (bourbon tends to be the theme of your days in this town, I've found) were both really good, and I probably ate more of those than the actual entree. The fries were cooked perfectly and were well seasoned/addictive. The Hot Brown was fine for what it was (we split it to try). It's basically a dramatic turkey melt, with slices of turkey coated in cheese and other sauces. It also came with strips of bacon on top, which on a personal palate level I didn't think really helped the dish so I barely nibbled on those. It's definitely a solid entry but it wasn't mind-blowing for either of us. Maybe it's just from where we come from in the Northeast, but I'm conditioned to like my turkey with accompanying stuffing, and usually in the latter part of November. I think it felt kind of weird to be eating turkey with warm cheese. But I'm glad we tried it and got the context at least. You might have a completely different experience with better service, but I'd still recommend going upstairs for any dining. It's a much better atmosphere and you can really appreciate where this hotel fits in the chronology of Louisville. You're not going to get that from going here.
