We've started ordering DoorDash a few times while quarantining, and it's been warm and delicious every time!! I prefer the farm skillet & my fiancé gets the surfer girl most times. We've also had sides of pancakes and they've been really delicious and fluffy! Another super favorite is the Mr. potato head mash-OMG. Get it as a side to try-it's so good!! Just a little rich for me as an entree. If I'm feeling fancy I get the Wild berry (?) coffee. It's like hot coffee infused with berries and it's unlike anything I've ever had. Wild eggs is so good- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The omelets are great- the surfer girl has plenty of veggies with cream cheese (odd but so good). I love Mexican so the breakfast burrito and kalmity Kate's border Benedict are other favorites. Bar seating is first come first served so if it's a small group give it a try. During the weekends and even during the week I tend to order carry out because the restaurant is just that crazy! I had not been to Wild Eggs in a very long time. I ordered the Holiday Ham Bennie. With cheese grits as my side. The menu describes a fluffy biscuit but it appeared to be a leftover toasted biscuit that was extremely difficult to cut into. That would be my only complaint. Had a reservation for four even though this is not a location that needs one. When we arrived the restaurant was about 1/3 full and there appeared to be plenty of staff. Our group was seated in the back corner wedged between the emergency exit and kitchen door. There were plenty of appropriately sized tables available for our party but we were placed in the worst table in the back. Throughout our meal many tables remained empty and a party of 3 was seated at a table for 6. Made no sense. I ordered the breakfast burrito but explained an egg allergy and asked for potatoes to be substituted for eggs. When it arrived the side of potatoes was not on the plate and about 1/3 of the normal potato serving was in the flour tortilla with onions, peppers and cheese. Very minimal filling. No chorizo. It was not edible as a burrito as it was basically all flour tortilla. Our waitress Amanda never checked on us and only came back to clear plates. We had to flag someone down for jam as multiple meals had toast and none was brought to the table or offered. Another diner in my party ordered the breakfast burrito with no substitutions and the filling was very minimal on his as well. For $14 there should be a better ratio of filling to tortilla. Way overpriced. The turkey sausage patty's were rubbery. Although the grits were good the rubbery turkey sausage that was also put in the grits ruined the texture. Wild Eggs is a great spot to grab breakfast/brunch with friends and family! For this location, parking is sparse and fills up quickly, so you may have to park down the road a walk. Totally worth it though! I ordered the Mr. Potato Head casserole and it was delicious! This is a hashbrown casserole with cheese, onions, peppers, tomatoes, sausage, mushrooms, and queso. It's also served with an egg on top and a muffin on the side. This dish reminded me of something you would get at a Mexican restaurant for brunch. It was amazing! My husband ordered the Wild Western Omelette made with egg whites and a side of breakfast potatoes. His food looked delicious and he really enjoyed his meal! This is your typical casual breakfast stop, but the food was a notch above most other chain breakfast places. Our service was great - quick and no frills. The price was right and the booth was nice and roomy. Ok, but the food is where this place really shines! I got the KY Hot Brown (This is a must if you haven't tried one. Soooo good!) but I could only eat half of it and I was stuffed! My hubby got the Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict (not my favorite flavors, but he loved it) and our kids got French toast and pancakes from the kids menu. Both raved about how yummy it was. How on earth does a restaurant allow a server to keep their book IN THEIR PANTS. I'm not talking about a back pocket, I am talking about in the back of their pants with their underwear. The health violation I saw immediately made me upset, but the attitude from server Cherish and them not refilling our drinks ONCE is insane. I will never be returning to this location. Cherish also swore next to our table when stiffed from two other tables, needless to say, we were the third. Our 1st time in Wild Eggs and the experience was 7/10. We waited to be seated about 15 min. Not bad at all. We arrived about 12:15pm and it didnt seem crazy overwhelming like other places we have been at lunch/brunch hour. Friendliness: its a 5/10 Our waitress didn't seem thrilled to take our order or friendly at all. I noticed she was more busy with another table that had some of her girfriends she knew and making plans for later then other tables. Our food came somewhat fast. The menu options were ok. I was expecting to see more twist on the options but I didn't. The food was good. Good presentation. Good location. Clean alround. Amazing service. Tasty food. I stopped in late on a Friday morning after an appointment nearby. I had successfully adulted, so I deserved brunch. I didn't expect them to be as busy as they were, especially on a week day. But I suppose with it being close to the hostpitals and also close to lunchtime, that could have contributed to the crowd. But I was dining solo, so had all the options and ease to be seated right away at the counter. I had a book to entertain myself, should there be a wait, but there never was. Almost immediately after I sat down at the end of the counter, my drink order was taken. And in no time, a personal small coffee urn was delivered to me. It helps that the counter is right next to the drink and order station for the waitstaff. Anyway, I took a minute or two to decide what I wanted to eat while I sipped on my coffee. I settled on the Zax I Am Fried Eggs And... Two eggs (over easy for me), skillet potatoes, an everything muffin, add bacon. It came out super speedy and correct. The bacon was nicely crispy like I like it. The eggs were cooked well, and the potatoes were well-seasoned. The muffin is interesting! I should have asked for a box for it right away, because the meal is a surprisingly filling amount of food. And it is a tasty and interesting addition to the meal. Service was attentive. My water was never empty, I didn't need to wait for even a whiff of an unreasonable amount of time for anything. The food was tasty and it came out quickly. I really can't complain. A solid 4 stars for brunch. I ordered for the first time the country fried steak with potatoes and an over easy egg. Don't worry, I got that for lunch as I was there at noon. The country fried steak was perfectly fried to a crispy golden brown. It has a white peppercorn BACON gravy (out of this world!) the breakfast potatoes complement the dish excellently. I have no idea why I haven't written a review of what I am assuming is the first Wild Eggs ever. I have no idea, this is just the first one I had been to despite now having been to all of them - except Hoosierlandia Wild Eggs. The only thing I don't like about this Wild Eggs is the parking but it is a standing testament to this restaurant that it has done well, persevered through the ages because the service and quality of food is so good that you don't remember the gladiator games that is parking at the Dutchman's Lane location. Our server was Jeremy, he did a masterful job. I love Wild Eggs. I love the food. I love the décor. I love the people who work there, in general, and the people who manage the locations are quick and friendly in the rare instance there is a problem. The only problem is the parking but they certainly do a good job of over-coming that. I'd suggest the Kalamaty Katie or the Batman and Rueben. Treat yourself to the orange juice, but the coffee is good too. If you're Southern they have grits of the day. If you're Hebrew they have EXCELLENT latkes. They're better than what my Bubbe can make. Visited this Wild Eggs with my parents today and everything was delicious. Our service from our server was top notch and stayed on top of the multiple water refills. Everything came out hot and quick. My dad had the oatmeal and a muffin which he absolutely loved. All the add-ins that came with it - made me wish I liked oatmeal. My moms western omelette was perfection. The fluffiest omelette I have ever seen in my life. No brown marked, overdone eggs here. We will be back again!! read more

Omgosh this was by far the best food I've eaten. I'm very picky & seldom enjoy my food. When we try new places we like to order a little of everything. I ordered the Mr Potato Casserole with a scrambled egg. Thinking about that makes me salivate ‍. I'm not a huge orange juice fan but since theirs are fresh squeezed I decided to give it a try & I loved every bit of it. We also ordered a cinnamon roll & my weakness is sweets & it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious! My husband ordered an omelet, potatoes, bacon & blueberry muffin. He enjoyed his food but I think he liked mine better. The waitress we had was the sweetest thing ever & that started our experience off on the right foot. I can't wait to return back. My family and I stopped in for Sunday breakfast around 10am. We waited around 25 minutes for a table, which was what we were quoted. The table ordered 2 stuffed French toast, one cast iron skillet cinnamon roll, and a country fried steak and eggs with house potatoes. The cinnamon roll was hot, rich, and gooey and was probably one of the best cinnamon rolls we've ever had. The next best plate was the country fried steak, which was delicious and savory. The stuffed French toast was sweet, but there was a tang of sour I personally didn't care for. I think others would like it a lot though. Prices were very reasonable for each plate, most under $10. The "drink specials" were around $8 for a specialty mimosa, which I think is a little high. Most "specials" in Texas run mimosas for $1-3, so we skipped the drinks. The California Bennie was perfect, sometimes carry out poached medium eggs aren't that great, but this whole dish was perfect. My partner had the Belgium waffle with fresh strawberries and strawberry syrup, he loved it! The staff was bright and chipper less than an hour after they had opened, which is rare at other breakfast restaurants. We will definitely be getting breakfast not only to go but also dine in! Louisville has a ton of wonderful brunch options - and Wild Eggs is at the top of that list for me. Judging by the overflowing parking lot (seriously, people just make up spots) and the dozens of people stuffed in the foyer - I'm not alone in my love for this place. If you plan on going on a weekend, get there early. If you go past 9:30 then plan on waiting 30 minutes or more. They give you free coffee, though so it's not all bad. Despite the frustrating parking and long wait times - this place is so worth it. The food is amazing. I always get the same thing - Klamity Katie's Border Benedict. I know as a Yelper that's probably a no-no but I can't help it because it's THAT good. I love savory breakfast and this always hits the spot. Two cornmeal cakes with cheese sauce, pico, avocado, and two poached eggs. The poached eggs and cheese act as a sauce for the corn cakes. I can't forget the cinnamon roll. Oh my. The cinnamon roll. It's life changing. That might be slightly dramatic but I don't know if I've ever eaten anything so slowly. It's like a croissant crossed with a cinnamon roll and covered in vanilla bean sauce.
