Great place to visit when it is warm outside. This place has a neat, brewery like feel to it. The beers are great tasting and there is a wonderful selection to choose from. Hopper Head IPA and A-Bomb are my personal favorites. I was a bit bummed that the servers here don't actually come to the tables and serve. You have to get up, stand in line and wait for a beer. It seems that every time I am waiting in line the person in front of me takes 15 minutes to decide on a beer... and they order tasters. I get the tasting room thing, but it is just irritating. Having food carts is easier for WR, but I am not a fan. The carts seem a bit steep in price and the quality is just not there. If you are looking for lunch/dinner & drinks, this is NOT the place to go. If you are looking for good locally brewed beers while enjoying a nice day... bingo! This is the place for you. What really stood out to us here was the passion for brewing that they have! First the basics.....The beers were good. We enjoyed the taster tray and my favorite was the Nut Crusher Peanut Butter Beer. The beer list was extensive - many to choose from. The atmosphere was like a big warehouse room, very open and roomy feeling. They didn't have food but there were 3 food trucks in the parking lot when we visited. We didn't eat any food but some items we saw looked amazing! Next time! On the beer and atmosphere alone I would probably have only given 4 stars, but what put this place in the 5 star range for me was the service and passion for brewing that I saw in the employees (maybe the owner? I regret now not asking). As we sat at the bar and enjoyed our samples the server gave us a really good education on the brewing process, different types of hops, how hops from different regions impart different flavors, and how they make a beer taste of peanut butter! He loved what he does and was happy to share that passion with us! Obviously loved what he does.... and we love what they do too! read more

I expected something totally different when arriving. The wide open doors took me a bit off guard. The bar tender was very friendly, and he was very attentive. There isn't any food in the establishment, but the food carts were great! My cousins kids were able to run around and play while we enjoyed some food and beer. Liked the lineup a lot. Good tasty IPAs. My wife lost her mind on the nutty chocolate number which is bit like drinking a peanut buster parfait without the sweetness. They were out of the double IPA unfortunately so I didn't get to try that. Food trucks out front and a wild vibe unlike anything I've seen. What a pleasant surprise. Our cousins were in town and he enjoys brewery's, so we decided to try Wild Ride Brewing Company. The brews and the many food trucks are an interesting venue. The variety of brews are numerous and the three we chose were very delicious. The Caribbean food truck was the family consensus and the coconut shrimp was amazing and the chicken tacos were full of yummy tasting chicken!! We all recommend this fun establishment!!! read more

While it is a staple of the beer culture here in Oregon, not my favorite brewery. Our last visit, it smelled of stale beer. The seating inside is kind of uncomfortable and cramped. It is winter so outdoor seating isn't really welcoming this time of year. The food truck we ordered from, was the Food Fellas i think. Ordered a bacon cheese burger and fries. Big enough to split between two people and tasty. Props to the food truck guy! Think Wildride can do better. read more

Came here for a holiday party. Really cool atmosphere. Outdoor fire pit and a roll-up garage door make it a cool hang-out. They don't do food but there are a couple food carts in the parking lot. I tried a few different beers and none of them really stood-out to me. I hade a bourbon barrel-aged stout, a black ale, and an IPA. Nothing to write home about, IMHO. read more

This is an excellent establishment for Redmond, Oregon. Fantastic social scene. While I am not a fan of WR brews themselves (so far), they do offer alternative ale, cider, and wine choices as well as have mobile food vendors in the parking lot, providing tasty food to go along side your beverage. I highly recommend Wubba's BBQ, no matter how long you need to wait. Jerk Kings, Food Guys, and McBain's are all decent options. The cooks work very hard to get your order to you as fast as possible. I feel I'm falling out of like with this place. I've been there several times and each subsequent visit I find something to be disappointed about. Am I the only one that noticed the change in glassware from what they opened with? The short-pour glasses in use now annoy me. Folks, a pint is expected. Pour it. I can live without food service. Haven't tried the food carts. The beer. It's just OK. For some bizarre reason they no longer make A-Bomb. I really liked it. I'm sure others did also. Their stouts had a great mouth feel, but like other things, changed to a thinner less interesting drink. The Wild Ride was off to a good start, but has made some very odd decisions affecting the quality their product. This place is good for Redmond. Yesterday I noticed an event going on the other day as I dove by. It was packed.. Good for them. I'll keep trying. It's obvious Redmond is hungry for a place like this. They need to improve the quality of the product and not look for ways to cheapen it. Hopefully they'll give me a reason to keep coming over the long winter. read more

Anyways, on to my review actually based on the "brewery" from today's visit: Setup: I really like the setup with the glass garage doors that open to the outside as well as the view into the actual brewing room. Customer service: The girl helping me today was very friendly and more than willing to give advice and samples on the variety of beers being offered today. Beer: Did the sample tray and found I really enjoyed the Blonde and Bourbon aged Bitch stout. It wasn't my first time getting the Bitch stout Bourbon aged. Had it once at the Little Woody barrel aged ale fest in Bend. Didn't get the idea they had a true "flagship". Not that that one is required, but it's unusual not to have one. I did enjoy all of their beers, but really loved the Barrel aged Bitch Stout. Food: THEY DO NOT OFFER FOOD. The food carts do. Hit or miss is what you get. Mine was decent, but nothing to write home about. I'll try a different cart next time. read more

I've only had a beer here and tasted 3 others. The beer I chose after tasting a sample was surprisingly good! The only thing was, it was flat? My son, whom I went with, said it was likely supposed to be like that because it was a certain style of brewing ? (forgot what he called it) At any rate, I really liked the beer- it was a peanut butter/chocolate porter I believe? My son ate from one of the food trailers and really enjoyed his street tacos also. I mixed (yes!) Mount Up Maple Brown and Force Stout (amazing) Both can stand alone but I like to mix it up and I'm gIad I did. Best, and only, 6oz of the day, but I'm not inexperienced. The atmosphere couldn't be less pretentious. Open, casual and empty-ish at 3:30 PM on a Monday. No waiting for food carts or beer. Worth the "ride" to Redmond. Definite come back material. Love the atmosphere of this place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outside has fireplaces for chilly nights. There's 3 or 4 food wagons you can order from. Drinks are beers and ciders. I'd give 5 stars if they expanded the choice of alcohol beverages and added a couple more choices for food carts. Nothing that prevents us from returning once in a while. read more

I had originally given this place three stars but after closer inspection have added another. I just discovered that on top of having excellent hard cider, there is also a room in back that you can reserve for parties. It has am industrial feel to it but its big enough for a large group and very private. Also i just discovered that children are welcome here. In the summertime there is sometimes live music outside by the fire pits. It's a nice place for socialization. I'm not a beer drinker so i can not comment on their brewing. read more
