Spicy BBQ, Spicy Garlic

I had been craving wings for a very long time and with no place to go for wings in Wasilla, I knew I had to stop in somewhere while I was in Anchorage. I stumbled on these guys because they were open on Sunday's and on the way into town and I'm really happy I did because this place is awesome. They had a ton of flavors to choose from, bone in and bone out, and a lot of different dipping sauces. We couldn't decide on just one flavor so we went a little crazy and got three different 10 pieces. They also had a lot of sides to choose from, and even had beer! They had a sign for 1000 wings for $700 and we are seriously considering that for a super bowl party sometime in the future!

The wings here are decent, nothing special but definitely fairly tasty if you need a wing fix. I'm going to put them in the 3.5 range in terms of a rating! I wish yelp would let us do half stars! I like the wings better than Buffalo Wild Wings, but still haven't found my favorite boneless wings in ANC. The pros are that they make the wings extra saucy, which I love! They have a variety of flavors with varying heat levels. They let you do 2 sauces per order. The prices are really reasonable, and they also had some well priced combos and lunch specials! The cons, we ordered boneless wings, and they were over breaded for my taste. They were also slightly over cooked so they were kind or harder than they should've been. Their cheese curds weren't my favorite as I like them with a lighter breading, but also know that type of cheese curd with a good golden brown coat is popular! The day we dined it seemed like they were having issues with their registers, and being able to take payments so that could possibly be a factor as to why our wings seemed over cooked as they were in a bit of a stressful situation. We will certainly be back to fulfill a wing craving, and try some more apps!

This place was alright. Maybe a few steps above Wing Street. I did like wings are served by 10's and the ranch and blue cheese was house made. I can always appreciate a place when the condiments are house made.

Delicious chicken wings!!! We love spicy food and we ordered the spicy one... perfect! Crispy and yummy! Great and quick service. A place to always come once we are in AK.

I was wanting a variety of fried food; enter wild wings n things, good variety but didnt quite hit the spot. Ordered the wild sampler and fried pickle spears. The sampler said it came with fries, mac n cheese bites, poppers, cheese sticks and mushrooms. We only got 3 mushrooms, the mac n cheese bites are obviously kraft mac n cheese, the peppers are not the ones you're used to (half a jalapeno and cream cheese filling) just a mix of what seems like hash browns and some jalapeno mixed in. The marinara sauce tastes like sucking on a fork (bleh) But the pepper jelly is pretty good, the pickle spears are spot on and the fries are decent for being fast food delivered. First time ordering here. Probably wont order from again sadly

No complaints! I was hesitant about eating here since I'm not a wings type of gal but there were so many other delicious options. The menu had my mouth watering. After eating here I was surprised about the negative reviews. The place place itself seems very patriotic. A cool hangout spot to grab some wings and some nice music on the background, mostly oldies. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich and some sweet potato fries. The sandwich was excellent and tasted very fresh. I was hoping it would have more marinara but I was willing to overlook it. The sweet potato fries were delicious, tasted fresh, and we're nice and crunchy on the outside! You also get a pretty generous amount. I felt so welcomed here! The older lady behind the counter was a hoot and she made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back.

This review is for 907Alehouse - Tikahtnu/Muldoon…read more My family and I are regulars at their Old Seward location. It was only a matter of time before we finally got to this side of town to visit their 2nd location. 907Alehouse took over a building that used to be a taco place (we never got to visit), and before that I believe it was a Firetap Alehouse second location. It's the perfect size bar/restaurant. Very clean and bright inside. Extra long booths for families and some tables in the middle section with a really nice bar area off to the side. Large TV's hang on the walls for sports games. Both the food and drink menus are noticeably smaller here. The brew/local tap selection is a lot smaller at this location. They serve some mixed bowls here that they don't at Old Seward, but they were able to accommodate special requests we made such as "chowder fries." Service was superb here. Food came out fast and hot. They had a special holiday drink menu that I quite enjoyed. We can't wait to return for a sports breakfast someday.

I had their Po' Boy Shrimp special and it was a lot of sandwich , bread was soft, shrimp were huge and crispy. My husband had the Fish and Chips and loved it, he said it was crispy on the outside but nice and soft on inside. Our server was attentive and so friendly. The space was loaded with TV's playing sports, Rodeo's, and music , more pub atmosphere but not noisy it was perfect! I would recommend and would definitely eat here again. Prices were compatible for the area.

The place can hold a lot of people. This was my 2nd time there and this time was no different from the first. I recommend. Some plates can be shared like family style. As…read morewe were waiting, we noticed multiple people being turned away due to not having a reservation. When we were seated, there were quite a few empty tables. Even as we were leaving there were still empty tables. I figured it would be overcrowded because of the occasion. We were warned that the portions were larger and meant to be served family style and the food would come out as it was ready. The shredded chicken was not really shredded like I was picturing in my head, but small pieces. It wasn't dry at all considering how small it was sliced. The braised pork belly was a fairly large sized chunk. I feel like it was braised with Chinese five spice and star anise among other things. It was very tender. The vegetable chow mein was very flavorful and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The curry chicken xiao long bao was a little too spicy for me. I couldn't taste anything but heat. The braised short rib was served on top of green beans, onions, and carrots and a side or rice in a pot. It was fall off the bone tender. My favorite item was the clay pot rice with Chinese sausage. There was a slight sweetness to it and there were bits of crunchy rice at the bottom that was slightly caramelized with the sauce. About halfway through, we noticed there was a robot server. It kind of sneaks up on you. One of the servers crashed into it when they turned around. It might need a bell when it goes through the dining room. I hope the table the food was meant for didn't wait too long for a replacement. The interior was clean and cozy and there wasn't much noise echoing like many busy restaurants. Our server was lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Anyway, second time is the charm I guess. So the Halibut sandwich was good, flavor was good, the fish was tender and flaky, my server made a mistake and substituted the "American" cheese for Swiss but I loved it! LOL! Seriously made the sandwich taste better. I didn't eat the bun because to be brutally honest as I always am, the bun was of cheap, stale and poor quality, it was barely toasted and not buttered? Fail! The bun on my cheese burger was the same way. The burger itself was cooked perfectly medium well but it was a premade obviously Sysco quality burger which was poorly seasoned which was made more evident by the stale, cheap, poor quality bun. They did have Coke Zero which made me feel a little better. Also at the end of my meal I ended up having to get up from my table and go pay for my food since my server hadn't returned in 15 minutes after clearing my dirty dishes. I don't feel like I will return to this place as there are much better options in the area. The ambiance always feels like I'm in an IHOP at 3am for some reason..
