Arrived at 8:23 for an 8:30 appointment. Long long long queue with no clear order... and people that arrived after me were served prior to me . I've also realized that if you have a specific advisor/consultant you can jump the line! One guy did this. Note to self--- have a favorite advisor/consultant on speed dial to jump the queue for checkin. At 8:55 finally completed checked in. It's now a 1.5 hour wait for oil change and brake fluid (code B17). I declined $500 of up-charges for preventative maintenance (that seemed reasonable) as it would have been another hour. Not sure why I was given an appointment if this is the service level. The person in front of me was told the same time for just an oil change. Hope the wait is a situation of over-delivery. I've been going here for over 4 years (when I moved to the area) for my 2018 CRV. Today I asked to use my accumulated "points" towards today's service, and was told they all went away when the dealership was bought out. Bummer again. Hum. I've had no service issues, but wondering if it's time to try the other Honda dealer in town as it's a similar distance to my home. Oh, none of the coupons on their website could be used as my tire rotation is "free" since I bought my tires here. That counted as a coupon. They do have a fun coffee machine and a small bowl of packaged snacks. Unfortunately the snack bowl has been nearly emptied by the crowd of people waiting for their card to be serviced. The Advisor was efficient and knowledgeable... thus the 3 rating. In reality, as I'm very annoyed with the checkin wait, inability to use advertised coupons, and service wait, I'm feeling a 2 but being kind. Leased my last 3 vehicles from here and I'll get the good out of the way: Never had a problem with the service team. The work has been fantastic. My first attempt at a post-COVID purchase was a disaster. Our original sales lady was no longer with Wilde East so we were referred to a young man instead. He insisted we come in and promised a great deal. The young man was busy, forgot our appointment, and sent us to their brother instead. He Immediately started trying to hard sell us on a color and variant we were not interested in. Well above our budget. We planned for inflation, but when even suggested a price close to MSRP he chuckled. Kept going "back to the manager" with barely a ding in the asking price, then started going over financing plans, insinuating we wanted a deal because we couldn't afford the car. That did it. Thanked him for his time. 2 weeks later, we purchased the make, color, and model we wanted from Zimbrick under MSRP. Almost 10 years of patronage, only to end with what felt like a gut punch from a family business. I guess at least some of that is why our previous sales lady left. read more

My wife made an appointment for her 2021 ford edge which we bought from them. The appointment was for oil change, tire rotation, transmission flush, vehicle was dropped off. They sent a text to tell her vehicle was ready to go. When she got to the dealership they told her that they couldn't do the transmission flush because it was a ford and not a Honda & that they wouldn't do it because it was a Ford. Awful, will never go to again. Bought a used car from them less than 8 weeks later it needs a massive repair. Water pump goes out. I went to them because it was still such a new purchase and they had no response other than an enormous quote. When I told them I wasn't going to repair with them they were willing to give me a "deal" and cut the repair bill in half. My local shop had already quotes the repair less than their deal. After you complete the purchase and your vehicle arrives, the basic vehicle components are missing, such as exterior mirrors did not have warning assist. It came with the wrong sizebtowing package. we were sold a service package that they didn't tell us we could only use at that location which is an extra half hour away from us. I took our car there a a couple months ago for an oil change. after waiting 2 hourseo in their lobby I went to the service bay and had to hunt down our "representative". He admitted that he someone had lost our keys and it still took another 15 minutes to find them. today the wife took the car in for regular service and to explain that there is something wrong with the radio/computer and had been for some time we just hadn't brought it up before. the friggin screen blanks out for several minutes at a time. just dead. they told her it would be $75 dollars to just look at the shitbox they leased us and is only 2 years old. And she has been there over 3 hours waiting as I write this. we are just disgusted with this place. read more

Well That Was Fun! We had no plans on buying a vehicle for our son until we met Lex. Lex came out and met us in the lot and shook our hands while looking us straight in the eye. I was even able to call him when I had an issue with the apple connection and he was able to tell me about the reboot. He helped setup the initial setups and walk me through all the features. Service is easy to setup via phone or online. Text or email. You can schedule or arrive on the day off. They are always friendly and very helpful. The timing is quite accurate. I have had nothing but excellent service. I look forward to being a loyal customer for years to come . My car's have been nothing but outstanding! I spent $166 to get my battery replaced on 8/14/23. I returned on 9/1/23 because my car was starting even worse than before. The Service Advisor opened the hood and there was my old battery. Turns out they were out of stock on batteries on 8/14/23 so they just took my money and pretended they did the work. I'm speechless. I got an apology and a new battery installed on 9/1/23. Please have the Service Advisor open your hood and prove they actually performed service on your car before you drive away!!! read more

HARASSMENT: Jeff from Wilde East Towne Honda reached out to me three months after I purchased a Honda Odyssey, having traded in a Kia Sedona, stating that I was required to give him the eighth seat for the Sedona. The seat was stowed away in my garage, so I completely forgot about it. However, Wilde made an offer on the van without the eighth seat available, and both parties agreed to the terms of the sale. I told Jeff I was willing to sell the seat, but that is when things turned nasty on Jeff's part. He said he wasn't willing to pay for the seat because I should just be giving it to them, and it could have ended there. However, Jeff reached out later to let me know that he was able to buy another seat and that he wasn't giving me a dime! It was a petty move and an even worse business decision (I purchased a $40k vehicle from Wilde, and they're blowing future business over a $400 seat). read more

Bait and switch dealer! Buyers beware! After an email exchange with Dylan the internet sales manager, we received a written quote for the car we were looking for. See attached picture. We double checked with Dylan to make sure there were no hidden fees such as installed options, destination & handling fees. Again, Dylan came back said that the sales prices given to us including everything but the doc fee of $219. We made arrangements to drive 2.5 hours one way. Get to the dealership to meet with Amber per Dylan on Friday 12/27. When all was said and done and it was time for the paperwork, Dylan came over and said "he made a mistake and quoted the 1.5L instead of the 2.0L he quoted us in an email. They would not honor or even come close to the price he quoted us! He has one job! Quote cars. If he can't do that, he needs to fired. In the end the best price they came back with was +$3,466 MORE than what we were quoted. After leaving the dealership, I called and spoke to Phil the sales manager and his statement to me was "that price should have given you a red flag'. Seriously?! I do my research, that price was a fair price for the car we were looking at. If a mistake was made on the dealership end by their Internet Sales Manager Dylan whose sole job is to fairly and accurately quote vehicles they should have honored the price we were given and not given the switch and bait bs. Stay far away from these shady people....bad business tactics and morals Also if you read Yelp reviews, ALWAYS scroll down to read the reviews from customers that aren't easily viewable. Yelp does this to new Yelp users to help cut down on bogus reviews. Often people create Yelp accounts when they are so frustrated w/a business and their practices...so I would give these a look. A LOT of not happy people with this shady dealership! I wish I had Yelp reviewed this business BEFORE wasting my time/money with them. Do you believe in coincidences? You will after being serviced at Wilde East Towne. I had my oil changed in early August. A few days later, I noticed large oil puddles in my driveway along with error codes on my dash, and rough start from a warm engine. NONE of this happened prior to my oil change. Multiple employees drove my car during my oil change, and none of these issues were noted on my outrageous repair suggestion sheet. I spent a week playing phone and email tag to finally be told to bring it in, and they will "take care of it". Well, what they really meant was everything that is wrong is just a coincidence, and they do not give away free repairs. The main source of the dribbling leak is a plug that they, somehow, assure me Austin Rankin did not damage during the oil change, even though the heavy oil leaks started only AFTER the oil change. The employee who I dealt with was rude and more worried about his hurt feelings than my frustration at their obvious fraud, which is exactly what I am calling it--FRAUD (looking at you, Austin Rankin). If you like being duped by "coincidences", then this is the place for you. I do not, so $68 is all they are getting out of me. Oh, fair warning: they do not have cameras on their mechanics, so no way to prove/disprove foul play. read more

Bought a certified Honda Odyssey, along with the extended warranty. I don't buy used cars, but needed a feature only found on this particular year Odyssey. While under warranty complained that the rear tail gate latch wouldn't work consistently in the cold. Both times told they couldn't duplicate the problem. One time, service tech said he "sprayed" it, so that would help. Spring comes, all good. Get a cold snap, boom, tail gate latch gets glitchy, won't work. I Googled thinking I could just spray it myself it I knew what to do, and first thing that comes up is a TSB. Known problem on this van, trove of complaints, TSB was published five years ago, latch fails when temps go below 34F, needs to be replaced. Clearly a Honda dealer servicing hundreds of vans has knowledge of this. So I take it back and what do you know, I'm right. Latch needs to be replaced per the TSB, but guess what? The vehicle is still in the warranty time period but there's a "or 100,000 miles" in the fine print, and I'm over the mileage by 4000. In hind sight I realize that they didn't "find the problem" because they took it into their heated shop. Wilde's service department took advantage of me, clearly knowing that the TSB was there, and that by taking it into a warm environment they'd be able to say they couldn't find an issue . Their only offer was they'd give me 10% off the $800 repair. A repair which should have been done when I complained about it while under warranty! This smacks of dishonesty. I brought it in while it was under warranty, the problem persisted, they're responsible. Its not even about the money. I was aware that there were other maintenance items due on this van which would add up to a couple thousand (like the timing belt/tires), expected them to recommend them, planned on having work done while the latch was being repaired. Now I'd rather chew glass than give them a single dime. Service departments are what keeps a customer coming back to buy vehicles, and I would never buy again from Wilde. I strongly recommend if you're reading this, and thinking of buying from them, you think twice. I purchase vehicles for my business so I have relationships with other dealers in the Madison area. I've never experienced anything remotely like this anywhere else. Wilde Honda is not trustworthy. read more

He answered all of my questions about the cars in an accessible way without being condescending. The whole process was empowering, easy, fast, and transparent. Unlike some other dealerships, I was able to complete the entire car shopping process in less than 24 hours. I was in a time crunch, so driving away with a car that same weekend was amazing! Paperwork does take some time, but there are comfortable waiting areas, and they have an area with free coffee and snacks. Dropped off my daughters car today because she said it was shuttering at road speed. Valerie, the tech that helped us was very thorough and gave us an estimate for mechanics to diagnose what she believed was the problem. Her estimate was a bit over (I'm ok with that :) ) what it really cost, because they found the issue right away and fixed some other minor things that they noticed. The part that impressed me was that my daughter was with and Valerie explained everything to her. And expressed her thanks for coming in because the issue the car had could have become much worse and dangerous quickly. (Brake issue) We thanked her for her helping us, but I could fix the issue they found. I could not not however fix the other areas they identified and we will return when I have the breaks fixed to address the other issues. Thank you Wilde East town for having such a competent caring staff. You always make me want to return for more help and will most likely purchase my next car from you. read more

i brought my car in for express service as the low tire pressure light had come on and I was concerned I had a nail in my tire. The person who waited on us was rude and dismissive not only to us but talked over her coworkers as well. i was advised to "just keep pushing the reset button until it goes off" and then was sent home. I sure hope I don't get a flat on my 1+ hour daily commute. I came in for peace of mind and left feeling like an idiot. There was no "customer service" offered. read more

Edit to previous review: The sales manager reached out to my husband. They offered a straight trade. Though when we went in they had us looking at vehicles to add 5k to the loan vs a straight trade. I stepped in and put my foot down and they ended up getting him into a vehicle a year older than the one we originally bought. All in all the car will probably last longer as hondas generally do. I will give them 3 stars for at the very least finally backing up their product after being harrangued to do so. I still will probably not ever buy a vehicle here again as I had to raise holy hell just to get them to do this when all we really wanted was to get the original issue with the subaru fixed. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Little hint guys, your customer service from the higher ups is EXTREMELY lacking. When you mess up, when you have a faulty product, own it, fix it, move forward. Also, the next time the owner being a gold star dad gets thrown in my face (a gold star widow), I will lose it. That is not a marketing tool. Its a tragedy. Respect it as such. read more

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation because we had service coupons when we bought our Odyssey from the Wild Honda in Waukesha. Tire pressure sensor was also going off and the back driver side tire was leaking air, so I asked them to check it out. An hour and a half goes by and they said the oil change is done but they determined that the TPMS sensors was defective, which was odd to me (felt like they were trying to get me pay for a service that I did not need) but I agreed to fix it, due to the safety aspect of the situation. I ended waiting another two and a half hours before the rep came to talk to me. Drove home that night and the tire pressure indicator in the van goes off and the same tire that was supposed to be fixed is still leaking air. Called and talked to the manager Chris today and he stated that they did a soap test and didn't find anything and he says to bring it in. When I brought the van in, the rep (Cheryl) that assisted me yesterday blew me off stating she had three other customers me to help and another rep (Darius) offered to helped me. You would expect a business to try to give better customer service, especially when a customer has to come back due to faulty service or misdiagnosing the original issue. Turns out there was a pin hole in the tire and they patched it up. Interesting that was my initial thought that there was a hole in the tire. If they did the soap test yesterday, wouldn't they have found that? Seems I didn't really need a new TPMS sensor. No discount given for wasting my time and gas on the original service. However, Cheryl did not charge me to patch up the tire which was what I initial asked them to do, gosh Thanks. I could tell Cheryl was trying her best to down play the situation of charging me for a service that I did not need. Shady business practice. read more

pretty awful experience, the refused to take a core for a part after I brought it too them and they could not read the label on the box. they said they had "absolutely no way of knowing what was in the box with out a label". they offered no help, they also did nothing but yell on the phone at me. super shocked they would treat anyone this way. I called around 10:30 am to verify the availability, just to get there at 5pm to find out it was sold the day before. This wouldn't be a HUGE deal if I didn't have to drive from Fitchburg, to get stuck in work hour traffic for 40min and have my mom meet me from even further away to test drive this. My husband and I ordered a 2023 Honda CRV sport tour last November from Wilde. We were told by our salesman that the price at the time of ordering and deposit was locked in. The salesman then sent us the the complete breakdown including the price, service fee, taxes, other fees and the final price. To our dismay, when the vehicle arrived and we went to pick it up, the price was over $500 more. The manager on duty wouldn't budge over the cost increase when we told him we have the total cost in writing. He then said "well you can walk" This was the last thing we expected a manager to say. I asked him if he'd let customers walk on the sale of a $43,750 vehicle and he said yes. We have since been told that it was a misunderstanding, and that our salesman was uninformed. In addition, we were never informed that we have a Honda Service Pass for the first 2years. Our local Honda dealer told us about that. I have been taking my Honda CR-V for servicing to Wilde East Towne Honda for the last year. They have been great in getting me in on short notice, and working on the uncommon services I needed. In May '17 before the labor day weekend my car was stolen (and found). I needed to get my car re-keyed. Louis in the service department worked with me for getting it done. He advised me on options, cost, and implications. He also worked on getting a loaner while my car was being serviced. Since then they have been able to get me in quick for regular services. I like working with their service advisers since they are not pushy, will explain the services needed, will clearly tell you if you need them now or can wait for sometime. I also like their up-front pricing on regular services, and the ability to book appointments online. I also worked with Jim, their Service Manager, who was really great in getting goodwill assistance from Honda for my a/c. He not only advocated on my behalf to get me assistance for my out of warranty car, he also got me in for a Saturday appointment on a Friday. I went in expecting just an inspection but he had the parts ready, and after a quick inspection, they had my car fixed same day. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness. I had mentioned I work weekdays, and they put in good effort to make sure I did not have to come back again for the repair. read more

Imagine, a prompt car dealership, what a vision. My Honda Insight was in-and-out for a recall repair. Everything was seamless, dropped it off in the morning, fantastic shuttle driver drove me to work, and then I swung back around after my day in the office to pick up the Insight. Whole thing worked like clockwork, everyone was exquisitely pleasant, I'd recommend this Honda dealership in a hot second. Um, time for an odd kudos, this dealership also has the fanciest fish tank I've seen in my life. The coral base is a huge Honda logo (funny), and there was just an entire ocean of little critters inside. I saw a glow-in-the-dark crawdad, neon pink, just hanging out inside an anemone. Wild! I'm sure kids would love it if you like to wait while your repair work is being completed. Or if you're like me, you'd like it just as much as an adult :D read more

At first I had the best experience then I started to have trouble with the 2015 Chevy equinox that they sold me I don't think that anyone did anything wrong just the fact is there a Honda store not a Chevy about a few weeks after I got the car started to have issues. At first it was a catalytic converter the found out that it had a oil consumption problem that should have been found and or replaced when gmc noticed that the car had problems I took it in and they told me I needed to do a test for the oil they said that it failed and the told me that I was over on miles for warranty since now and I have had car for about a year and a half but it has been costing a lot had battery issues then starter then the major issue that I had to get the timing chain fixed along with catalytic converter and exhaust manifold all do to the oil isssue. I don't tend to leave reviews and let me again say that I had no problem with the person that sold me the car but as a company I would not go to them again I wish I would have went some were better read more

I also asked them to check all my fluids to make sure everything was all good about 3 weeks ago... while driving to my grandparents house for Christmas, the car started shifting funny.
