    Lemon Pepper Chicken

[[HIGHLIGHT]]An excellent choice for a nice dinner out. A classy establishment with a beautiful menu[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We dined in a few months back for a very late birthday celebration. Our table bread was nice. It seemed to be a hit with those at the table. I started with a side Caesar salad. It was fresh and savory, is definitely one of the best I've had. The lemon pepper chicken breasts were pretty good . They were quite juicy, and though, while flavorful, I feel could've had a little bit more to offer. I definitely enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to. French fries were also really good. Fresh cut and well seasoned. Finished the night off with an light and fresh key lime pie. It was a perfect personal size. The right balance of tangy and sweet. Our waitress was so nice and great at her job. Certainly a meal to remember.

The bread on the table so delicious Onion and pumpernickel The wait staff were so friendly and nice . They explained so well . [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is music Frank Sinatra type playing in the back ground[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The booths and tables are black leather[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking lot if fine to park in ! I will come another time and try the steak dip sandwich

I came into wildfire and was a little thrown off when asked to show 2 different forms of identification when I ordered a drink. Granted I am only 21 so I understand why there may be speculation as I deal with this on occasion when I go out and have drinks. I will say my server (although I don't remember her name) was really polite and checked on me throughout my meal as well as the manager Tim to assure that I was enjoying everything. That being said the food was fantastic. I ordered calamari to start and filet mignon with mashed potatoes and gravy for my main dish. The calamari was delicious and the portion was well worth the price. I ordered the filet mignon as medium rare to leave room incase I wanted it cooked a little more because I am very picky with my steak. It came out just a little too red for me (which I expected) so I sent it back and had them throw it back on and Tim brought it out and had me cut into it to make sure it was well enough. As someone who is very critical with how their steak is cooked I really appreciated that. The filet mignon had the perfect char on the outside and melted in my mouth which is what I always expect when ordering a filet mignon. Of course the lemon drop martinis I ordered were great and I was satisfied with those as well. The ambiance was nice and exactly the vibe I was looking for when going to a steak house. They played some subtle jazzy music and the lighting was just right. Overall my experience here was great and I will definitely be eating here again throughout my stay to try their other menu items.

We met with a group of 10 / great service, we shared appetizer (no pics, apologies!). I picked the porterhouse , medium rare. And was impressed that they managed it well !!! Commonly you're getting it medium. The potatoes were good but not outstanding. A little strange that they ran out of A one ( and didn't offer any alternatives ) All in all a good experience, will go there again in a smaller group to see how they treat us then.

We had a work dinner here for the holidays. They have a separate GF menu with many options. The server offered GF bread to start. I ordered the baked goat cheese with GF pita as an app and it was amazing. For my entree I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on a GF bun with a-gratin potatoes. All the food came out with special allergy sticks in for awareness. They also have a flourless chocolate cake. The service was excellent and I felt very safe eating here. Can't wait to come back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wildfire knocked it out of the park with a lovely birthday dinner in their private wine room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was huge for our family with a 2 year old and an 8-month old![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service team (likely loving engaging with the kiddos) had a great time and took wonderful care of us. Standouts at this dinner were the roumanian steak, bacon wrapped scallops and tasty root vegetables.

The service was 10/10. The salad and sandwich were amazing. The calamari was pretty good. A few pieces were overcooked. But overall from the time I walked in, until dinner was over I was impressed. If you are ever in the area be sure to have some dinner here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean and nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Tuesday Spit-Roasted Turkey Dinner

Our service for a group of 8 last night was fantastic! The server was super friendly and checked in on us frequently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were lucky enough to get a private room which was perfect since we had a newborn baby with our group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started with a french onion soup and it was a great choice. It had a rich onion broth with a broiled cheese top. The chopped salad was perfect as always. The avocado, bleu cheese, and dressing elevate it. I went with the special of the night - a turkey dinner. So yummy! I wish the portion size was bigger. My grandma had it in the past and gotten a bigger portion size. Some other things we enjoyed were the French dip sandwich, steak sandwich, halibut, bbq ribs, and chicken. Very nice option for a special occasion. I loved every dessert.

The food is delicious, but the prices are clearly overpriced. The service is pleasant, but not all the waiters are friendly. We had a very friendly waiter, but the table next to us wasn't so lucky.

    Turkey special on Tuesday night

Last day for scratch offs, had the turkey special, really wasn't so special. Somehow this place always has some fat in the turkey, better turkey at Max's off Skokie road. The service was great, the bread wasn't warm and was kind of stale , hard, the roast beef was excellent

It feels like a bit of a time warp, stepping into Wildfire. The dark woods, the cozy booths, the crooners over the sound system..,it feels like a 1930s supper club .., which isn't a bad thing. Expect traditional fare and you will be right at home. The skillet cornbread came out hot from the oven, the pan was smoking hot, and the butter just oozed over it. It was crisp outside, soft inside with kernels, and this might have been enough. My companion ordered crab and shrimp bisque which was thick, rich and decadent. They also had an enormous shoe-sized baked potato. I had the macadamia nut encrusted halibut which was buttery, crispy and with a rich sauce and flaky white halibut. The au gratin potatoes were soft, tender and indulgent. The creamed spinach was ok -- I think it had too much nutmeg for my taste. My other companion had the medallion trio which had different savory crusts like horseradish and blue cheese. They said the filet was very tender but in my opinion was slightly overdone. Service was ok. They checked on us often during the first half of our meal, but once they dropped off the entrees they didn't check back. I would have liked to call their attention to my companion's burger, which looked rare/medium rare instead of medium/well, but they were ok with it so I didn't press it. Normally at an establishment such as this I would like to peruse the dessert selections but by the time they came back I was ready to go. Our meal was quite good but there were areas for improvement. The daily specials sounded interesting so it might be nice to come back during the week to try one of those -- like Monday's Southern Fried Chicken.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent food, service & ambiance![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We visited this restaurant while visiting Illinois, to celebrate my son's birthday. The day before arriving, we made a reservation. Due to travel delays, we had to change the reservation time, which they were super understanding and accommodating. The restaurant was kind of hidden behind a hotel. It did have ample surface parking. When you enter, you're greeted by friendly staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is quaint and pleasant. Seating is abundant and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was excellent. I had a spicy margarita, which was absolutely delicious. Our server was kind and attentive. Shoutout to the manager who graciously treated us to dessert as we visited for the first time. The flourless chocolate cake had more a brownie consistency to me, but it was still good. My husband enjoyed his cherry pie. The prime rib was delicious, as well as the chicken moreno and the turkey burger. We will definitely go back when we visit again.

There is plenty of space in the entryway to stand around, though actual seating is limited. That being said, I can't recall ever having a horrible wait time if we came when it was busy. The hosts are good about getting people on the list and seating them at a reasonable pace. It's also pretty sweet to see the dessert counter at the front so you can see what treats they offer. As I stated previously, the inside looks nice and furnishing is well maintained. It definitely shows when they are rushed however, as the floors usually need to swept. The last time I went there was also crumbs on the napkin they placed on our table. The menus are big but they do have stuff for every palate to pick from. The free bread is alright, nothing too wild. The servers are always warm and welcoming, and very knowledgable of the menu. It can take a little while for the food to come out but it's worth the wait in my opinion. The crispy fried cheese is a little greasy, but quite tasty. It's a big portion but fulfilling for sure. The flatbread pizza was enjoyable as well, with a good crispy crust. My girlfriend also felt highly about the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. She said it was quite flavorful and unique. We also agreed that the fries were a banger as well. Right amount of crispy and seasoning. For dessert, my go to is always the Oreo dream extreme cheesecake. 100% a must have for oreo lovers. Not too sweet but still hits well. So, a few minor kinks to work out but otherwise a worthwhile dining experience. Will always recommend as a good spot for comfort meals and family time, and great cheesecake.

The restaurant was spacious and absolutely beautiful! Since we were a party of 10, it took a while to gather orders but we started with some drinks and appetizers. My nephew and I decided on the Strawberry Spritz. It was refreshing and tasted like Summer in a glass, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered the Warm Crab Dip but we didn't care for it. It lacked any type of crab or seafood flavor and had a weird texture. We added salt/pepper and hot sauce and it still didn't taste good. As we waited for our entrees, we noticed how dirty our silverware was. My spoon was actually stuck to the napkin. Our server brought out more silverware but some of us just opted for plasticware. My Thai Lettuce Wraps were delicious, it's one of my "go-to" orders and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tasted my mom's Shrimp & Chicken Gumbo. The chicken tasted like tofu and it didn't have any type of gumbo flavor, I didn't like it at all. My nephew ordered the Chilaquiles and I thought it was pretty good. Overall, we had a great time just being together to enjoy my dad but I wish we had a better experience. Our server wasn't very attentive and some of the food seemed to miss the mark.

Not an extremely busy night, but what can you expect at a hotel lobby restaurant located on the outskirts of Chicago. Bartender was really nice and helpful when explaining what was the best options on the menu. Of course he went with the de facto answer of the brioche hamburger, which honestly any hamburger is going to sell me (Minus bad fast food joints). Got it with extra cheese and bacon and might as well kick it up with an extra side of fries. Service was fairly quick, my whole meal took about 15 minutes or less to come out the door. Burger was cooked to a medium rare, so that is always a plus when you get what you order in terms of how well done you want you meat in most restaurants. Fries were your average run of the mill frozen package style, not much taste, but decent enough to be consumed. Overall I'd rate it the following on a scale to 1-5. We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.

The price to value seemed very imbalanced and this is coming from someone who is quite accustomed to city prices. The menu is huge, IMO too big. It would be great if they trimmed it down to do fewer things flawlessly. This place is great for big groups, the room we were seated in is built for parties of 8+. We started out with the garlic bread on our table and ordered the appetizer platter. The platter was fine, but the addition of guac was odd and it wasn't very good. I ordered the lobster roll and my husband the mahi. They only serve the lobster roll hot, but I generally prefer cold. The bun was a pretzel roll, which I didn't love. They should put the butter on the side, so the whole thing felt dry. They served it with tartar sauce, which was an interesting choice. Husband was unimpressed with his mahi. Service started off strong and then fell off a cliff. Our server was attentive when we needed to order and then absent through pretty much the rest of the meal. We asked a busboy for more water and someone went to find our server to get our check. Basic things like ketchup for fries wasn't even considered. Maybe the Des Plaines location is better, this one didn't live up to the hype or price.
