Beautiful dining room, fabulous jazz softly playing in the background. Had my favorite sandwich in the whole wide world, a French dip, with french fries for lunch. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, and the au jus was delicious. Very nice unobtrusive service..

Went for dinner last week with some coworkers, the service was amazing and the waiters were really attentive to our needs. At the beggining they offer you some bread and butter, not really the best and the breads are cold. I chose a Small Ceasar salad, just a little extra salty than what I normally have eaten on other places. The chicken was tender and juicy, full of flavor but salty too, and the side of french fries it felt soggy and cold, so wasn't happy about it. My review comes harder mostly because for the price you paying you expected a better flavor and good quality on the dishes, however other places that I tried have way more accesible prices, had done a better job on preparing food than in this place. Wasn't my favorite, could come again with coworkers if they want to come here, but won't having too much expectations everytime I come here.

Weekday day, this place has the feel of old school steak house, with large leather booths and dark brown accents. Ordered the French dip, bread was soft and pillowy, prime rib was tender and cooked perfectly, paired with the au jus which was a little salty but still great. Overall the meal was great and a nice dinner

Beware 3% Surcharge on bill ! Steaks are great! Get the $63.95 filet with crispy bacon on the side of it cooked medium it was excellent! Waiter Alveron was excellent! Ambiance was clean leather booths a little uncomfortable. Great chocolate cake!!

WOW! I came here for a work conference and this was the chosen spot for dinner. Upon arrival, the person organizing the dinner asked if anyone had any allergies, to which I replied that I had a food sensitivity to onions. Not thinking anything of it, we arrive and are put in a private room to the side. There were about 4 servers to help with our party. We got the drinks going and once it was time to deliver food, this is where they really turned on the charm. While there was a pre-printed menu in front, everyone thought we'd choose between one of the options listed. To our surprise, we got everything. To take it a step further, anyone that had allergies or mods were given their own special meal of what everyone else was having as to not have felt left out. I was floored as I've never been to a restaurant where they went to such great lengths to accommodate guests! All the food was spectacular! Everyone couldn't stop raving on the service and how great the food and drinks were. I wish so badly we had this restaurant in Stl. Regardless, thank you for making our visit so wonderful!

We had already eaten elsewhere so this review is about the bar service. We stopped here solely to pickup 3 bottles of their Citrus Lime salad dressing. We're taking it back to Texas where I make their Chopped Salad at home. So good! We also decided to have a cocktail at the bar. While it's about closing time on a Sunday evening, they still allowed us to have a drink. The two fellas at the bar were pleasant and made us some tasty drinks. I had an Old Fashioned with Woodford Reserve over a large cube of ice. My wife had a Malibu Rum with Pineapple juice. Thanks Wildfire - we hope to eat here next time we're back in the Chicago area.

Hands down this is my favorite wildfire location. Always clean and great ambience this one never misses. Our server Emily is amazing! She definitely went above and beyond all night consistently checking up on us and was very helpful with the menu as well. The chopped salad is the best salad on the menu always fresh and flavorful. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom also a hit. I ended up with the Monday night special fried chicken I would rate it 7 out of 10 the chicken was a little oily but the sides were 10/10. This place is great for date nights I highly recommend wildfire especially if you have the lettuce eats app.

It's been quite while since I have reviewed Wildfire and I am happy to share, the food taste, quality, and service are still fabulous here. It is still a pricey meal, but I can usually get two meals out of the generous portions. We dined around 1 p.m. on a busy Easter Sunday. I guess we joined many other couples and families who opted not to cook at home! Our favorites dishes are the filet trio and au gratin potatoes side. The chopped salad is a memorable dish too. The trio of filet is tender and filled with flavor, with your choice of crusts. We had the parmesan, mushroom, and blue cheese toppings. My Cesar salad with beef tenderloin was equally tasty and enough to bring home for later. The three-layer carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was a sweet ending to our Easter meal. We have also ordered food to go, but prefer dining in here so the meat stays our preferred temperature.

My brother was trying to figure out where he wanted to celebrate his birthday. He landed on Wildfire! The reservations were made for a party of 11 for 1PM. We arrived at 1PM and the party was already seated. We were greeted and water was served immediately. The server was great. He answered all my questions as my son has major allergies. As he was taking orders, he was clear on what my son could have. And as the food started coming he reminded him that he couldn't have some of the items. I ordered sides for lunch as there aren't many veggie options. Mac and Cheese, Roasted Vegetables and French Fries. The mac was very creamy. It had the right amount of cheese. The roasted vegetables had red peppers, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and red onions. It was decent but not great. It lacked the roast flavor. The French Fries were fresh cut and fried to perfection. It had the right amount of salt. The birthday boy ordered the French Dip sandwich with fries. He mentioned the beef was tender and the dip was tasty. The place was packed for a Sunday lunch. The service didn't suffer. Overall, the atmosphere was great, being with family was great and everyone enjoyed their food. I gave it a four due to the server's attention to details with allergies and the food overall was good.

I had the most amazing steakhouse dinner in Chicago thanks to Wildfire. Wildfire is a steakhouse that specializes in a variety of steaks, chops and seafoods. I heard this place descibed as a modern-day 1940's dinner club and it indeed had quite the classic feel to it. Interior is dimly lit with dark wood panels and tables and candlelight. Their rooms have different names and our party ended up in The Rascals Room. The Rascal Room is one out of their eight private rooms. The menu has an abundant of good steaks and it was honestly hard to choose from the amazing variety. I saw on the menu that they had a special of a Filet Medallion Trio and this just seemed to be a perfect choice to try a variety. For this entree; one can choose three of their signature crusts: horseradish, parmesan, mushroom and blue cheese. I chose to get parmesan, mushroom and blue cheese. For each entree; one also gets the choice of one side. I chose to get the Creamed Spinach. Our meal started off with an order of their Corn Bread. The Corn Bread was quite delightful. It was soft and buttery and practically melted in my mouth. This was great start to a great dinner. The Filet Medallion Trio was up next and I am so glad I didn't fill myself up with corn bread because this was entree was quite the meal! The Filet Medallions were pretty big in portion size. I got it Medium Well and enjoyed the overall tenderness of the meats. From the crusts; I enjoyed the parmesan the best followed by the blue cheese and mushroom. I normally love mushrooms but felt the mushroom crust was a bit underwhelming and I could barely taste the flavor. The parmesan and blue cheese crusts were excellent and added the right hint of cheese to the meat. I could tell the meat and whole dish quality! I loved the Creamed Spinach as well. It was rich, savory and creamy and paired really well with the Filet. Last but not least was dessert! I got the Key Lime Pie and it was quite delightful. I loved the flakey, buttery crust as well as the citrusy, sweet, and tart filling. Eating at Wildfire was quite the treat in Chicago.

Tried Wildfire for lunch. Was in a bit of a rush - service seemed a little slow but the waitress was pleasant otherwise and did work to get my food out quickly once she actually took the order. The charcuterie board was good - probably would have liked a little more prosciutto and a a few different options. I did not enjoy the baked? grapes or the mustard sauce. The chicken (I think it's called brine ? chicken) was not bad - a little bland and needed salt, so did the potatoes that accompanied the chicken. A little broth heavy too. Didn't love it but was acceptable for a rush order. Ambience is very nice, lighting is cozy and inviting. Clean, modern environment. Lots of seating. Had to park far though because it was busy. Overall my dining experience was ok but the food was not amazing given the high price (close to $50 for one person for lunch with only water and no dessert). However would likely try again in the future at some point.

If someone who has been eating at lettuce, entertain your restaurants for over two decades this is my first visit to this particular wildfire location in Schaumburg. I typically go to wildfire in Glenview. Came here for the first time for a weeknight early dinner with friends and it did not disappoint. It was great to see the consistency not only from the ambience, but also the menu choices, the food, quality, and the service. As usual, this place was very packed and busy which I am not surprised by at all. It was great to see that nothing was sold out or unavailable on the menu as well. Although I did not take pictures of all the things that we ordered, I must say everything was incredibly tasty and we finished just about everything except for the salad which also my friends were able to customize based off of the ingredients and how they wanted it chopped, etc. This is a must visit for some staple American Cuisine and some solid foundational food choices.

Dinner was absolutely relaxing and although they were quite full for a Monday evening - we didn't feel rushed at all! Oak Brook, Illinois Dios mío , I'm such a procrastinator. We went for diner at the Wildfire three weeks ago and I'm just now writing the review. Probably because it has taken that long for me to digest my steak Jaaaa. Don't get me wrong, the steak was great, but more than I could eat. I ordered the Porterhouse steak with two cuts. Hmmmm , deliciosa. I had carrots as a side. The steak was big and the steak was thick, no complaints ... Except... Maybe a little extra au jus on the side next time because I ran out. The side of carrots was also plentiful. The service was good, the food was good , the place was crowded because we were there at dinner time. It was also somewhat loud with the many conversations all around us. We were a party of five. The girls ordered the petit filet , the boyz ordered the steak , and the kid had the hamburger. The natural order of things. All was well in my universe. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food consumed. My only real regret of the evening was that my guest was celebrating a birthday and as this was my first time at the Wildfire and I was busy taking in the sights I completely forgot to inform the wait staff of the desire for a birthday surprise desert. Oh well, there is always next year as my guest informed me that this was her favorite "night out" place. Next time however , I will be better prepared and fast the day before so that I will be able to accommodate that thick Porterhouse ! Whew ! What a work out ... I needed two forks read more

Really good food, good service, good ambience! Reserved a table and was seated within five minutes. We ordered wine and craft beer with the crab cakes for appetizer. They were delicious, the crab cakes that is! My wife had the craft beer wildfire which she enjoyed and I had a the malbec which was just fine! I ordered the mushroom crusted pork chops which were so tasty and a great sized portion. Also got a side of fresh cut fries very good too! My wife had the seafood pasta which was huge and she enjoyed. Will definitely be back to ty other dishes on the menu. read more

We came here in a Thursday evening and had their kale salad ( excellent) and Cobb salad and fried potatoes ( ok) and given the special on the wine ( half off) a bottle of their most expensive Cabernet . caution the salads are huge Nice service and ambiance ( outside ) read more

Went there with a group for dinner so we were seated in a private area in an otherwise very busy restaurant. We had standing room to mix, which I liked. The wine list was excellent and was well priced. Started with skewered mushrooms grilled and they were a little sweet with some sauce on them. The kale salad was excellent. i wanted a second serving and they were very accommodating. very nice dressing and if you like kale this is terrific. The meatballs in sauce were there but i did not taste them as they are not something i would usually eat but they got good reviews. Dinner was a petite fillet with shrimp skewered and grilled. Both worked very well and were really tasty. Nice sides of greens like asparagus and brussel sprouts. delightful. I recommend this place. read more

Disappointed in our visit to Wildfire. The floors are dirty (at least in the front of the restaurant). There was an ant on my menu which, granted, could have been carried in on someone's clothing. The waiter just laughed and tried to brush it to the floor. The food was very bland except for my daughter's Greek salad which was overpowered with dill. The waiter didn't even ask if there was any reason she was unable to eat it. The portions are small for the price and to top it off they added a 3% restaurant surcharge. If I had realized that the tip would have been reduced accordingly. No need to ever go back. There are tastier, cleaner and more reasonably-priced establishments. read more

How can I rate Wildfire anything less than five stars? The ambiance, the service, the ONION BREAD, the overall menu, everything is top notch. My husband was buying, so I tried something I don't usually order (hubby ordered the same): the prime rib. Naturally, it was delicious. Done to perfection. We started out with the calamari appetizer, I got the baked French Onion soup, we both got the Prime Rib. No room for dessert, although all the options that our server showed us looked divine. Wildfire has one drawback and that's the price, but I understand why the prices are what they are. We don't come here often, so I don't mind splurging once in a while. If you haven't been here before, please come! read more

Wildfire is one of my favorite restaurants in the burbs. It's perfect for a special occasion (we've done Christmas Eve here a couple times) or a romantic dinner date. The atmosphere lends well to dining with friends, family, lover people, or even colleagues. It's upscale but not (too) pretentious. Most importantly, the food. The food is amazing! I've always found something I like, both on their regular and holiday menus. The crab cake appetizer is really good, and I've had most of the chicken entrees at this point, and all were delicious. The waits can be intense, so I highly recommend making a reservation. That said, we had one for Christmas Eve both years and still ended up waiting almost an hour -- YMMV. The food is worth it, though, and there's also a great bar area where you can get something to sip on while you wait. read more

My favourite Dining spot whenever I am in Schaumburg, IL. Been trying a few item from their menu, and the one I really enjoyed having is their Prime rib. As for the sides, give the balsamic roasted vegs or creamed spinach. read more

Wildfire is a solid choice whenever we come to Schaumburg on business. The ambiance is your quintessential classic fine dining steak restaurant. Great lighting, lots of wine on the walls, leather, dark wood. The clientele is a mix of business professionals, couples on dates, and even family dinners. The food is consistently good. The steaks were cooked well and at temperature as requested. The seafood is great. If you get anything grilled, it has that great smokey seared flavor. The creamed spinach really is delicious as others have pointed out. When you want a quick casual meal, there is ample seating at the bar and you still get the same quality of food. On one occasion, they put us in the wine room which was a treat! Great ambiance and lessened the noise from the main dining area. You really can't go wrong with dining at Wildfire, but it's definitely a per diem killer! read more

I came here for the first time last night, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a filet mignon and my boyfriend got the Beef Wellington that was on special. We were both in love with our food, and both steaks were cooked to perfection. On the side, we both got au gratin potatoes that were amazing. I think this is my new favorite steakhouse. Although it's on the pricier side, it's so worth it. I also got a glass of moscato that was very good. For two people, our bill was about $100, so not awful for two filet mignon steaks and some drinks. Every table also gets three different types of bread before ordering. All three were very fresh, one being cornbread, another being onion rolls, and another being a pumpernickel-type roll with raisins or craisins (I'm honestly not sure which one but it was amazing). Although we did not get dessert, the server brought a plate of dessert to show us what they offered. They looked delicious, but I was too full for that! Our waiter Ken was such a nice guy who really seemed to care about us. He gave us our refills without asking, and he made sure that our food was good. He was also very personable. Wildfire seems like a more upscale restaurant, but there were a mix of people wearing classier clothes. Some people were wearing jeans, too, so the dress code seems to be pretty lenient. When planning to eat here, I suggest to make a reservation because the place got pretty busy. We made a reservation and had no problems, but there were a few parties waiting for a seat when we walked through the door. read more

We had a REALLY great dining experience here. We had a reservation and there was zero wait, they got us to the table as soon as we came in. We skipped the appetizer's so we would have room for dessert and I had their filet mignon and I went with the broccoli as a side dish. The filet was cooked perfectly, I requested medium-rare and I was afraid it would be bloody since you don't know the first time you go to a restaurant but it cooked exactly what I hoped it would look like. It was very tender and was perfect, no fancy spices just enough to help get the natural flavor of the meat out. The broccoli came with a light lemon-butter sauce and it tasted awesome! Best broccoli side dish I've had. They have a pretty big selection of desserts, extra plus that all of them (as far as I know) can be ordered in half the size which is great. I ordered the key lime pie and it was incredibly good, it was so good I could eat a whole tray. We were a decent sized party, 4 adults plus 3 kids. The kids were a little unruly at times but the waitress was awesome with the kids. The service was really awesome throughout the whole dining experience. I will definitely come back here again next time we're in town read more

How good is wildfire? 10 out of 10. I promise you will never have a bad meal there. We had French onion soup and the buffalo meatballs to start. Our entrees were the filet and queen size prime rib with amazing sides of double baked potato, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes. Soooooooo good. Haha our bill was 145 but that's okay :) worth it!! Oh and they even brought a birthday desert which was so nice of them read more

Don't waste your time here - go to Weber Grill around the corner and I promise you will thank me. Made reservations for 2/15/2020 at 730 - was greeted with a rude older blonde(ish) lady who was extremely rude and told us that they were running 15-30 minutes behind. No problem, it was busy, I get it - at 745 I went to ask how things were looking and the rude lady, somehow, got even more rude and stated "I told you it was going to be 1/2 hour" - I explained that we had tickets for a 9pm event and asked if, in her opinion, 8pm was realistic. She essentially told me the same thing "1/2 hour" and went to help other people We simply left and went to Weber Grill around the corner who, despite a 1hr wait, managed to seat us within 20 minutes since we had an event we were attending. Some people want your business and will go above and beyond - Wildfire has enough business that, apparently, allows them to treat (former) regular patrons very poorly. Won't be coming here again....ever read more

This restaurant is fantastic! I recommend it, 100%. I enjoyed eating the lemon-pepper chicken breasts, and a loaded baked potato (minus the sour cream and chives). I finished the meal with an elegant presentation of a chocolate cake. 10/10. read more

I have been to Wildfire many times and to the Schaumburg location the most. Since COVID they had paired the menu down some. I feel like I never try new things so this time I did. We had a group function of 8 people, we were in a private room. I started with an excellent Kansas City Steak Soup that was really good, lots of meat, veggies, cabbage in a tomato base, I am planning on stealing the recipe. They had Braised Short ribs on the specials, I love braised anything, and I love short ribs so I decided to be adventurous and get something new. When my food came all looked well... Saucy short ribs over mashed potatoes with braised vegetables. I was taken back a bit by the portion size, it was a smallish serving, no leftovers i guess. It tasted good but the sides were straight up COLD, cold veg and lukewarm potatoes. Unimpressed and underwhelmed, not what I am used to getting from Wildfire. Chalk it up to a bad day / meal, things happen but I will think twice about coming back or recommending them in the future. I did not say anything as it was a group setting and I didnt want the host to be embarrassed or anything, I just dealt with it. read more

I ordered the BBQ ribs. They were so overcooked and dry that I had a hard time cutting them with a steak knife. They were just awful. Ribs should be moist and juicy. The meat should just fall off of the bone. A restaurant of this caliber should not be serving poor quality, overpriced food. read more

Yummy stopped in with my friend for dessert the apple torte is amazing we had a half order was gigantic had a warm crumbly crust with nuts and crumbles of brown sugar and a light ducting of cinnamon . The apple was a little crunchy nestled under a scoop of vanilla ice cream . We also split a peanut whip creamed pie with chocolate . Was awesome. This restaurant is deceiving. On the outside it doesn't look like much. Inside, it is tastefully decorated like that of a classic, early 20th century style restaurant. Our waitress was so nice & helpful. It was our first time there & she gave us the rundown of the menu. We ordered some amazingly good food. Afterward, they brought out a tray of desserts for us to choose from. We were too full to get any, but they looked delicious. The meal was higher priced than your average place, but the food was better quality as was the dining experience. read more

We went to the Schaumburg location on a Monday night so I could get the fried chicken. 3 of the 4 in our party got the fried chicken and everyone loved it. Hot, juicy, crispy, and honey to drizzle. Outstanding. Service was excellent. Had a martini in the bar. Perfect. Brought it to our table and spilled half. Our waitress quickly replaced the martini. Nice touch. Recommended. read more

Ahhh Wildfire in Schaumburg it's mostly hits with some misses Start with those awesome bison meatballs and a cup of French onion... So rad! I'm old as dirt so I always get the prime rib side of veggies which never disappoints. My date that night got a medium plus filet which came up a little crispy. Minus 2 because it's a steakhouse We finished up with a frangelico chilled up for dessert. Another great place I happen to come across. Due to a friends recommendation that is. I remember a friend asking me if I have ever dined at wildfire in Schaumburg. I told him that I have not. He then suggested to me that I bring my wife to this location. He said that we will not be disappointed. With that being said, I decided to do just that. We traveled out to Schaumburg to do some shopping. After all of that was out of the way. We decided to venture on over to wildfire. TIP: They tend to be busy, so call ahead and make a reservation if it is a weekend. Because I have found myself waiting up to an hour. But an hour well worth it to me. I have had their steak and was very pleased. Next visit, I made the choice of their baby back ribs w/ mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Oh yeah, and before I forget. They bring you out this cornbread that would make your Grammy smack you for. Because you'd swear that it taste better then hers : ) So sorry for that one Grammy. But it is that good. Now back to the ribs. I love ribs, and I find myself alway ordering them if we are to stop here. It's just something about the taste, as well for the BBQ Sauce that is glazed over this excellent dish. The coleslaw was just the way I like it, perfect in my eyes. So to make a long story short. I bought tickets to the 1:30 pm show on Mother's Day. Tickets were $76.95 each, but I was able to get 15% off directly from their website for Mother's Day so I actually paid $65.41 each. I also decided to upgrade to their Queen's package which is an additional $30 per ticket. So overall, I paid around $190 for my mother and I. The doors open at noon- which is around the time we got there. For check in- this is where you are assigned a knight to root for. We got the black and white knight. We also got our VIP lanyards and our package came with taking 2 photos! They didn't open the doors to the arena until approximately 1:00 pm. They have an area just outside of the arena where you can order drinks from the bar, buy souvenirs, watch the horses eat, etc. Once the arena opened we were seated in table number 3 (which is actually the first row). For food we had a tomato basil soup, garlic bread, a very large chicken, and corn on the Cobb. With the Queen package you also get a slice of cake. The food surpassed my expectations, it was really really really good! Everything was. There was not one mediocre dish on my plate- everything was tasty and I wasn't expecting that. My piece of chicken was humongous. The whole meal was super filling. Side-note: we had to eat everything with our hands, because this is medieval times! So, there will be no silverware for you. And of course, my knight won! So that was a plus. Overall, this is a great event for all ages. Me and my party had tons of fun, and we're all grown. So, I can only imagine how much fun this is for children! Plus we left with so much stuff. I took home a crown, a glass (I got to keep from ordering from the bar), I took home my lanyard, my little flag I was waving around, and I took home our pictures that was included in the package. It came with VIP lanyards, preferred seating, two photos in cute frames that we received at the end, and cake as well. We were seated at Table 1, and I honestly you couldn't get any closer to the action. Being right there made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Pros: There was plenty of parking and plenty of seating available. I also liked that they have multiple showtimes throughout the day, which gives you flexibility when planning your day. They have a bar with a pretty good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, and the staff throughout the building were friendly. Cons: It is extremely loud inside. It was hard to hear the person giving directions from above, so everyone kind of just started moving at once. The seating is also very tight, and if you're sitting next to someone who needs a little extra space, it can be challenging. The seats sit very low to the ground, so anyone who is pregnant or has bad knees may struggle getting in and out comfortably. The food was okay, but it came out so slowly that it was hard to eat everything while it was still hot. The chicken, corn, and potato were the best parts of the meal. The soup tasted like it came from a can, and the garlic bread reminded me of the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store and heat up at home. Overall, we had an absolute blast and would definitely go back. The show, the horses, and being so close to the action made it a memorable experience. Just go in knowing it's more about the entertainment than the food, and you'll have a great time. I didn't post too many photos because I didn't want to spoil it for anyone.

I enjoyed their version of Tteokbooki; it was spicy but still had a hint of sweetness. All the meat we ordered was deliciously seasoned and fresh. Overall, my favorite meats were the spare ribs and beef bulgogi. Can't wait to return!

We were a party of three, but two of us came at 4:30 pm on a Saturday to put our name on the waiting list. We also had to make sure we grabbed a parking spot. To clarify for everyone, parking sucks on the weekend. They made it clear that you can't park in the other parking lots. To secure one, you're better off coming before 5 pm or coming on a weekday. They had tables available inside so there was no waiting. Again, 5 pm and after on the weekend, you'll have to wait. Just come on the weekday to save yourself some stress. The restaurant is a good size. They have a bench area where you can wait and watch the staff make dumplings. We ordered fu chi fei pian, baby bok choy with garlic, mini pan fried buns, fried chicken wings, hu tong soup dumplings, black truffle soup dumplings, chili wonton with pork, shrimp noodle, jjajang noodle, and surf and turf dumpling. Service was good but could be better. Some of the bussers were just standing around. Our waiter or waiters made sure we got everything. Pricing was okay. Overall, it's a 4 out of 5. -fu chi fei pian 5 - these were a good appetizer that you can split between 2 people. The meat was flavorful and it wasn't spicy. -baby bok choy with garlic 5 - Got to get your veggies in. -mini pan fried buns 5 - it came with eight. Each bun was juicy and moist. The pork was perfectly cooked. -fried chicken wings 4 - they were very juicy and tender. I took off a full point because they should have added at least two more for the price, or buy bigger wings. -hu tong soup dumplings 5 - they were pretty good. Succulent and placed on proper parchment paper. These are as good as you'll get without going to Din Tai Fung. -black truffle soup dumplings 5 - basically like the hu tong but with a noticeable truffle taste. The taste is strong enough to know it's there, it's not overwhelming. -chili wonton with pork 3 - these were okay, not quite as delicious as Din Tai Fung. -shrimp noodle (spicy) 5 - they added a lot of shrimp. Noodle dishes are good here because at least the quantity is big. -jjajang noodle 3 - this was okay, it could use a lot more black bean sauce. Mandarin House in Downers Grove gave us a generous amount of black bean sauce. -surf and turf dumplings 5 - these were good. They have shrimp and pork in them.

I went to a family birthday party here last night in there private room that held 30 guests and where extremely satisfied! The service, the planned menu of appetizers, dinner course of filet mignon,salmon, and chicken on bone, double baked potato and broccoli was to die for. One of the main reasons we held the party there was due to there consistency of there food meaning... every time you dine there you never have a bad meal, or poor service. our family dines out ALLOT and Wildfire is one of our favorites restaurant's that is why we picked the event to be held there. We knew none of the guests would be disappointed with there meal or dining experience. The dessert we had was a triple chocolate cake and fruit crisp plate there was so much food that today I' am still stuffed. So if you want to book an event and have a great time with outstanding food and service I highly recommend Wildfire in schaumburg. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is like all RESTAURANTS when they deliver your food its ALWAYS room temp . I happen to like me food very warm like you got it right out of the oven.Perhaps one day all restaurant's will deliver hot food to your table! here's hoping. read more

This is a good restaurant to have a dinner if you are in the northwest suburb area of Chicago. This restaurant always offers good foods in a generous portion. And the quality of the foods and the service have been rather consistently good throughout my frequent visits. I've had some steaks and fishes as main dishes; and they have all been decent, if not fantastic. Appetizers and desserts are perhaps more delicious and a tad bit more interesting than the main dishes. The salads are good, too; and their portion is quite large. I've been generally satisfied with this establishment; it is one of the better restaurants in Schaumburg. Then, why not five stars and only four stars? Well, you will find that all the items on their menu are familiar ones, albeit in a good quality; there seems to be no house specialty or creative dishes exclusive to this restaurant only. My husband and I have been loyal patrons of Wildfire for many years and frequently travel from Wisconsin specifically to dine here. Historically, our experiences have been consistently excellent, which made this recent visit particularly disappointing. The macaroni and cheese lacked depth of flavor and did not meet the standard expected of a restaurant of this caliber. While the pork chop itself was well prepared and flavorful, the presence of a hair in the dish was unacceptable and detracted significantly from the overall experience. On a positive note, the crab bisque was very enjoyable, and the crab cakes were flavorful, though they contained more filler than anticipated. Given our long-standing appreciation for Wildfire, we were surprised by the inconsistency in quality during this visit. We hope this experience was an anomaly and that the restaurant returns to the high standards that have kept us coming back over the years. read more

This review is based on the fact they feel the need to add a 3% surcharge to their bill. Surcharges are a bullshit charge of nothing. It is not based on the food the service it is based on the fact that you are stupid enough to walk in the door and order . I will never go back to Wildfire again and any other restaurant that thinks they can charge me a fee for walking in their restaurant If we don't stand up to this ridiculous fee they will start charging for water, using the restrooms, and start charging for parking This a a crappy money grab and no value added charge. So far Wildfire in Schaumburg and Sonic in Streamwood are the restaurants that I have come across this charge and as stated before I will not be spending my money at these establishments I hope you will stand with me and let these thieves know that they can't get away with it and HAVE THEM REMOVE THE SURCHARGE FROM YOUR BILL . read more

Terrible experience! My husband and I went to the Wildfire in Schaumburg for our 25th wedding anniversary last weekend. We started off in the bar area as we waited for our table in the dining room. It was awful from the beginning! There were drunk people that should have been cut off long ago, they were clearly intoxicated and very loud, my husband went to find a manager who said he would take care of it but never even came over to do anything. We ordered glasses of wine and were given different than we ordered. On top of that, we were told the wait would be pretty long so we immediately ordered an appetizer that was never delivered however, it was on the bar bill we were told to pay before we could be sat at our table. The entrees were okay but not anything special. I would not recommend trusting this place, especially on a busy Friday or Saturday evening, unfortunately it was pretty rough! read more

The place is Amazing. A small group of us went for lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy then but I'm guessing lunch during the week gets mobbed based on all the businesses nearby. I think they make their mashed potatoes out of fairy dust, ice cream and crack. Soooooooo, creamy/dreamy. Potato perfection! I could've had a second helping of those but my a** is thanking me now for only going with one serving! For my entree, I got a grilled chicken breast number topped with artichokes and argula - forget what it was called exactly but it was also very good. This place is ALWAYS crowded. Even with a reservation you usually end up waiting about 20 minutes before you get seated and once you sit down it is so loud you can't hear the people @ your table unless you are almost shouting @ them unless you are lucky enough to get a booth. I understand the reason why it is so busy is because it is near Woodfield Mall and the food is pretty decent but when I go out to eat and pay the prices that they charge here I want to be able to enjoy the company of the people I am with. That to me is impossible if I can hear everyone's conversations other then the one I'm trying to have. read more

My family and I have always been going to this place, and I can't thank these guys enough of how easily they can accommodate your requests on recipes. They are amazing because honestly lately I have been very sensitive when it comes to food, especially, on what to eat and when exactly!! Yes, unfortunately, when you choose to change your life and eat healthy, then you realize you need to sacrify on somethings!! I went to wildfire during restaurant week and it was delicious! I got the lobster and shrimp bisque and it had a great seafood flavor. Then I got the steak crusted with shrimp and it was great! Perfectly cooked and the shrimp added a nice flavor! The only thing I didn't like was there was a piece of fat in my steak and that was off putting. For dessert I got the chocolate pie and it was amazing! Our service was amazing. My mom didn't like her drink and they without a doubt made it to something for her liking. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone, especially steak lovers! read more

I go to wildfire more for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries etc and then occasionally for just a great meal. Havent had it in a couple months and was craving some steak. Made my reservations and away i went. Service was great on my visit sometimes its mediocre. Depending on how hungry i am i either do a New York or the 3 medallions and always get it with their Parmisian crust it makes it 100 times better. Recently saw the have berneys or how ever you spell it hah sauce and it makes the meal even better. WIll always be a fan of Wildfire its the cream of the crop read more

Whether you have no diet restrictions, or have someone with celiac disease who can't eat gluten, this is a FABULOUS place! Have been there several times and the food is consistently great. More importantly, with a child with celiac disease - it is sheer heaven. They wonderfully accomodate this diet, even bringing warm gluten free bread to the table with the "regular" bread. Damn near choked me up. There are very few restaurants that provide great food to the masses - and to those with celiac disease. read more

We're big fans of Wildfire (we've been to all of them) and the Lettuce Entertain you restaurants. This Wildfire in Schaumburg is our favorite, and has not let us down. Service is top-notch and the food is excellent/ We love the Wildfire chopped salad, the daily fish special is always good, and I love the steak medallion trio (baked potato crust is incredible!). The dessert tray is very hard to resist -- the fruit crisp with ice cream is amazing, and the chocolate cake is incredible as well. read more

I love beer....any place that has good beer is my kinda place. The taps here don't have your normal beer, they have a fine array of craft and local beers. The bar area is nice, they have a few TVs and the bar staff is very attentive. If you want a booth, they have those too. The apps a top of the line and go great with a cold brew. Haven't tried dinner, but plan to go back to try it again. Overall great place for beer and some fancy apps. read more

Normally only go for special occasions but sometimes ill treat myself. One things for sure anytime i know i'm going here for dinner im fasting for the day so I can eat great later. My two favorites on the menu are the Scallops appetizer wrapped in bacon and then a nice steak with Parmesan Crust, adding the Parmesan crust makes it amazing!! Only knock against it is sometimes the service isnt that great but food sure does make up for it read more

A beautiful and romantic setting, such as a rustic setting, located in a lovely part of the city. There is a wide selection of wines and beers to choose from both inside and out, and there are tables and a very nice living room space that connects the balconies. Came here unplanned but was hungry and craving something good. We walked in with no reservation and we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was excellent - attentive, very professional and well mannered throughout our entire dinner. I ordered the Filet Mignon with the mushroom crust and asparagus. I went for Valentine's Day last year and it was fantastic. I had the 4 course meal special they had for two and it worked out perfectly. The place is obviously expensive but fancy and is really worth when you go. There's valet parking which is helpful at times. The steak was delicious and the deserts they have are a perfect ending to a great steak. Wear something nice because people in there dress to impress! read more

Wow. That's pretty much all I have to say. Okay. Fine. I'll elaborate a bit. The food here was unbelievable. I had the fillet, butterflied, with blue cheese spread on each side. Medium rare. OMG.
