I ordered a very large order from this place for Mother's Day for my wife because she loves buffet style breakfasts. I placed the order about 5 days in advance and they had my food ready for me at 8:15 am the day I ordered it just like we agreed too (the order was over $100 so I was very impressed that they had the order ready so promptly). I state this because I have used chownow for the pre-order function and other restaurants have not been able to figure out how to manage this process but Wildflower did great! I've been coming here for years, this is one of my favorite places to get breakfast in the entire southbay. From the staff to the food this place hits it consistently and I've never had an issue here. I usually get the Benedicts here and add a Wildflower stack which are amazing, the Wildflower stack is always stuffed with berries and is never dry some of my favorite pancakes anywhere. They make their benedict perfect here with just the right amount of hollandaise sauce not overpowering the other ingredients. The staff is always attentive and constantly checking on you and now with Covid they've implemented many more safer aspects to enjoy your dining experience. Small cute place! I wanted to order majority on what was on the menu. Had the wildflower burger which had feta, spinach in their handmade angus burger which was absolutely delicious. I did that day though and went for a beach run. Could you walk from the beach? I would say, yes, but it's not necessary. My little just ordered pancakes, but I ended up ordering the California Omelette. Not impressed. We got the French toast and the Ranchero. The French Toast had almost no butter and we had to ask for syrup. The bread was very dry and did not seem fresh. Little or no flavor. The Rachero lacked any Ranchero sauce and was more like something you would make at home. It had a melted slab of American cheese on it and "guacamole" with little or nothing added to it other than avocado and salt. The "salsa" was pretty much just chopped tomatoes. It was not bad. Had brunch here on the 4th of July. We didn't wait that long to be seated and the service was excellent. The cafe is small and cozy with a patio in the back to accommodate more patrons. The menu was quite extensive. They have a little bit of everything for everybody- omelettes, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, soups, etc. Prices are reasonable too. I ordered the Wildflower Two's. You get 2 eggs however way you want them. (I got mine over medium). You also get your choice of either turkey bacon, sausages and I can't remember the other choices. It also comes with roasted potatoes and fruit and choice of toast. I passed on the toast and got pancakes for $3 more. All in all, I think my dish cost $11.95? TASTY FOOD, FRIENDLY SERVICE! My family and I from Oregon decided on a day at Redondo Beach and wanted a solid brunch option. We aren't big seafood eaters and wanted a place that offered choices that seemed fresher and healthier than Polly's on the Pier. After a search pegged this as a top choice based on positive reviews and an expansive menu, we set our sights on this cafe. The cafe is easy to find and visible on a corner and parking on the street was easily available and safe in a nice neighborhood. Upon entering, the wait staff was super friendly and had us seated quickly. Their freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious and food was incredibly delicious and fresh looking/tasting. The place is a bit small and on weekends for brunch can get a bit crowded but the great food definitely makes it worth it. I was worried because I had read reviews that stated the food takes a long time to come out and parking was horrible. I had no issues with parking and food came out fairly promptly! I've heard about this place on and off over the years and today I tried it for breakfast. What a mistake! It's renowned for breakfast but doesn't serve bacon! It serves Turkey Bacon only. I'm a Bacon Guy, Turkey Bacon is not Bacon, it's a Bacon substitute. What a cute little joint! We had to find parking in the street. There was quite a bit of a wait on a saturday morning. (5-10 mins) The sign in sheet was hanging off the wall right next to the woman's restroom. We sat on the outside patio. I was a little cold so I sat next to the outdoor heater and the host was kind enough to push the heater closer to me. The server who took our drinks was funny and silly. He asked us "2 tequilas?" and we laughed it off and asked for orange juice. We ordered the breakfast burrito with turkey sausage and it was good. Comes in a great portion served with a side of fruits. (Canteloupe, pineapples and strawberry) It was great! The plate also came with seasoned potatoes and I loved it. Brunch was a little pricey but I really enjoyed it here. I loved the atmosphere. The payment part was interesting. The server swiped our debit at our table. What a terrific find! A delightful family run restaurant with delicious food and excellent service! We arrived just after they opened on a Sunday morning to already find two other groups inside. The morning was cool so we chose an inside table rather than dining on the outside patio. My hubby ordered the sundried tomato omelet with basil and spinach topped with feta cheese. From the looks of his empty plate, it was great. While I chose the Greek egg white omelet with feta and spinach. I treated my self to a chai latte with almond milk which was a tad sweet for my palate, although others may not think so. Both dishes came with a little side of fresh fruit and tasty seasoned little red potatoes. I could tell from the large containers of fruit infused water out front that this place would be hopping in a very short time. A lovely breakfast/brunch spot! My friend and I chose to meet here for brunch and it was quite the treat. They have a tiny 2 or 3 car parking lot so it's best to drive around, street parking is available. The wait around 12 noon was minimal. I have to note, this place is a bit small and it may be cramped for some. The service was fantastic! I liked our server, she was very attentive as was everyone else that worked there. We didn't have to wait long for anything. It's a busy little place that looks like it's a definite hit with locals. I had the lox plate and it didn't disappoint. I was craving a pancake and I didn't want a full short stack. I asked if it was possible to get just ONE specialty pancake and our server said "of course!" without hesitation. I had the banana pecan pancake and it was delicious. I also had the mocha, it was good. The latte art was so pretty! My friend had The Ranchero and she liked it as well.
