We arrived at the place around 2:00pm. I came to the place with my dad, mom, and aunt. Lunch time and lunch hour rush was so busy. There was only one cashier taking orders and the line was pretty long. We were STARVING (so you know how it is, less patience, getting annoyed by the minute). We checked out their menu from their website and they really need to update that. We wanted to buy a dozen bagels, lox, and cream cheese. I guess something happened between 2 years ago (when the photos of the menus were posted) and now (the COVID era). They don't sell bagels by the dozen anymore; they only sell bagel sandwiches. Anyway, my aunt and my dad went in line while my Mom and I went to get tables outside the patio. The lady cleaning the tables and chairs (by the patio) are so efficient and quick. My Mom and I spotted a table for 2 and decided to get it. I wanted to eat outside the patio so we see the view overlooking the Sedona Mountains. There was a couple sitting in the corner with a table for 4 and the nice lady asked me if we needed the bigger table. She nicely offered it to us and we exchanged seats! Now, this table has only 3 chairs so I had to ask another customer and they gave me their extra chair. Now my Dad found us, furious and said that we are going to go to a different restaurant because #1 they don't sell bagels by the dozen anymore and no lox! And if we wanted bagels, they are charging us $2 instead of $1 from the menu! By this time, I was so TIRED AND STARVING already that I argued with him that no, we are not going somewhere else, I am hungry and I explained all the things I needed to do to get a nice table with an unobstructed VIEW OF THE MOUNTAIN! So I told him he should've just ordered us food! Anyway, I am infuriated by this time, looked for my aunt, went back in line and ordered our food. By the time the waitress gave us the food, I was really really hungry this time and oh so happy after she gave us the food. My Mom got the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The portion is HUGE and she could only finish the half. I got the Wildflower salad (very fresh and tasty) and the cream potato soup. My aunt got the small portion of Chicken Salad Sandwich and some kind of a beef stew soup. All tasty as well. By the way, the soups that they have are so creamy and I loved it. I ordered the Reuben for my Dad and it was also tasty and had a lot of corned beef slices and cheese. All in all, despite the fiasco of them not selling the bagels by the dozen and not having lox, I loved the food that I ate and I was very happy after my time here at the Wildflower. read more

Awesome find! Perfect for weary travelers, groups small and large. Our huge 20-deep bachelorette party found primo tables outside on balcony overlooking the beautiful Sedona landscape. Order inside, grab drinks and your sign, and wait at your table for your food. It may take awhile.. they're busy. And I have no idea how they know who's who because it's not a number or letter sign, but they usually make it happen. I got my gorgeous Cobb salad with salmon and it was fantastic. Best Cobb of my life, though it wasn't actually all that Cobb-y. So much flavor, I ate every bite. Sopped up every drop of dressing with the bread. They have an extensive menu so a varied group (GF? This is, hands down, the best cafe in Sedona if you are not price-insensitive. As most folks are aware, Sedona restaurants often have "Sedona prices" in view of the upper-crust visitors. Well, Wildflower is part of a (small) Arizona chain so they have prices that are "normal". The three-cheese frittata is awesome for breakfast. They used to have a totally wonderful sweet potato & greens bowl with eggs for breakfast. But alas this was replaced with a shakshuka. A shakshuka is an interesting dish, but nowhere as filling; it is a bit one-dimensional in my view. And a lot more choices if you eat meat, but I don't. Do not forget to get one of their scones. These are the best scones I have ever encountered anywhere. They are not really a scone, more like a layered puff pastry slice. Wildly good! For lunch, a side order of mac-and-cheese is totally scrumptious. This does not come with bread, so you have to order a ciabatta roll extra. You could also order bread, but for some reason, this costs more. These add-ons are not listed on the menu, you have to ask. The "side order" size of mac-n-cheese will fill most people, apart from the lumberjacks or teenagers. If you want more food, get a side order of hummus. This does come with slices of bread and is also totally wonderful. They also make a decent latte here. Not fancy, more or less Starbucks quality. But Starbucks of course will not give you real meals. Their name is Wildflower Bread and they are, indeed, the best bread bakery in town, by far. Not that they have much competition. Whole Foods does have a few decent breads, but Wildflower is tops. I'm especially partial to their rosemary/sea salt loaves. I am also very impressed with the staff. Apparently they have a policy sort of like Trader Joe's: you can't work there, unless you are friendly and helpful to the customers. This is much appreciated, as is Brittany, the manager. It is also a good place to get a latte in the evening, when many places are closed. Note however that you won't get any bread or pastries after maybe 10 or 11 am; they sell out. You can get dinner here, but these are only pastas. While their pastas are wonderful, I generally try to minimize my carbs, especially for dinner. But they are open until 8 pm. Also note that unlike their locations in Flagstaff or Prescott, they are generally slammed. A wise person would not show up here at noon on a Saturday; not if you want to eat the same day anyhow. This of course is not their fault--they are good, so everybody goes there. A word about your breakfast alternatives. The Coffee Pot is a Sedona tradition and is open very early. But it's 1950s food, which many of us think is passe these days. Nic's is sort of like The Coffee Pot. 1950s food, but even less inspired than The Coffee Pot. The Pumphouse Bistro serves a top-rate lox Benedict and has a sweet vibe. But it does have Sedona prices. Also, their lattes are sub-par, which should not be, in a classy joint. Finally, Layla's. You've been warned, if you go there. Horrible dreck. Sugar in everything, including all the ostensibly savory dishes. Yikes. That's pretty much it, apart from the hotels. read more

We were looking for a quick breakfast option uptown, decided upon Wildflower. I got the sausage, pepper, egg sandwich, it was delicious! Everything looked and tasted freshly prepared, not like they are just heating up a pre-made sandwich. One of my kids got the kids' egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, it came with fruit (pineapple and grapes) and a cookie. My other got a pumpkin muffin, which she loved, but the woman who brought out the food came back with a side of fruit and a cookie for her as well which I thought was so nice. I'm not usually a cookie with breakfast kind of mom, but before a full day of hiking on vacation it seems like a little breakfast dessert is good. Plenty of outdoor seating, we were in the courtyard since the back was too sunny - views weren't anything special, but the cool breeze was fantastic. We've been to Sedona many times, but this was our first trip to Wildflower. Won't be our last! read more

Love this place! We ate here 3 times on our last short visit to town. It's quick, it's inexpensive, it's delicious, and service is always great! We had sandwiches, soups, breakfast, and desserts which were all very good. Will definitely be going here again on our next vacation in Sedona. read more

We are visiting from Los Angeles and the food here as a brunch/lunch spot is absolutely fabulous. The ingredients and the quality is superb and the options are limitless. We ordered Ruben, which was one of the best ones I've ever had. the broccoli cheddar soup is not to be missed, my husband ordered the gluten-free pancakes and a breakfast sandwich which were both according to him divine. People's standards for things are weird. Saw this place was very highly rated, and it looks cool from the road, so we decided to check it out. Should have know from the fact that this shopping center features a Chipotle and a Cold Stone that this was going to be a pretty vanilla experience. This is more or less a Panera and all that entails in terms of menu and atmosphere. The food and coffee is definitely decent, and the view is spectacular, but there are far better food experiences to be had in Sedona. The food is not your typical chain food offers. One of my favorite items on the menu is their roasted sweet potato sandwich that comes with goat cheese, fig confit, tomato, arugula, fennel & balsamic vinaigrette on whichever type of bread you'd like. The soups here are great as well and some of my favorites are: potato cream cheese, autumn pumpkin, and veggie options such as forest mushroom and roasted garlic tomato. Yum! We parked in "uptown" Sedona and decided to explore but we were hungry so we stopped at The Wildflower Café for lunch. The line was very long but moved quicker than I thought it would. My husband ordered a tuna salad sandwich and I ordered a turkey with Brie. We decided to sit out o the balcony since we'd never been to Sedona and the view was breathtaking. This menu gave me a delicious way to get some vitamins while also offering my traveling companion his own cheese course. I would call this "western Panera Bread" as a compliment. Their menu was comparable, with more interesting sides and fewer sandwiches. I just wish we had one in New England! Absolutely do not order on the app on a Saturday. I received the worst service here. I ordered ahead because we didn't want to mess with the crazy busy parking lot. Well, I got there just a couple minutes after the time stated on app. It would've been quicker ordering when I got there. I asked the girl who was delivering food if she could check on my to go order. She said "we're really busy! The app doesn't know how busy we are." Her exact words, would not take my name and help me. One thing I love is when I go to a place with tempered expectations and then leave pleasantly surprised. Well it happened this evening at the Wildflower Bread Company in uptown Sedona. My wife ordered the Italian wedding soup and a wildflower salad. She enjoyed every bite and commented how fresh, crisp and light the salad was. Her soup was unlike any other that she had tasted. I ordered their tuna sandwich on toasted 9grain bread. It was marvelous. I wasn't that hungry but ended up devouring the whole thing. My husband and I ate at the Wildflower Bread Company a couple of mornings during of stay in Sedona. It is located in The Shops at Pinon Point and offers a beautiful view from their outside dining area. We had the same employee on both mornings. She was not a friendly customer service type associate but our order was perfect and served quick. We ordered the banana walnut pancakes, breakfast sandwich and various danishes. The sandwich was made with eggs, sausage, roasted red peppers, scallions and cilantro on a Brioche Roll. The sandwich was made to order and served fresh and hot. The banana pancakes were delicious but taste like regular pancakes with a nice amount of sliced bananas on top. They serve good coffee and we enjoyed all of the baked goods. My family and I always come up here whenever we are in Sedona. I love this particular location and the atmosphere is great. The food is always great and the customer service is always on point. The employees working there are very informative about what's on the menu and what to recommend. I love that they have samples out for you try every week. This a great place if you're into food that is similar to Panera. If you love pasta and sandwiches this is a great spot for lunch or even dinner. A nice sandwich restaurant in the Sedona downtown area. We were looking for a nice light lunch when suddenly the rain started. Lots of restaurants had outdoor seating that was useless so we walked nearly to the end of the shops and dining area where we found this restaurant. It was packed inside but I think it was because it was prime lunch time and the rain. However, there is plenty of indoor seating so we found tables pretty easily. The line was long to order but the food was ready very quickly. My husband and I shared a sandwich and a bowl of soup. We ordered the portebello mushroom sandwich and the tomato garlic soup. The sandwich was really big, we only needed a half each. We didn't get the soup because after we put in our order I guess they ran out of the soup. The waitress asked if I wanted any other soup and I told her it was fine, that the sandwich was enough. She would have comped me the soup but instead she gave me a free dessert of my choice! I tried the lemon coconut cake it was really good! We all split the one slice and it was plenty of dessert for all of us! Very rich and creamy. I don't know if I would pay for a dessert but for free it was amazing! I also like how they have a bread and butter sample station while you are waiting for your food to arrive. We tried the honey wheat bread and it was really good! I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice light lunch, rain or shine! read more
