Best breakfast I've had in a while. Food took awhile but the quality makes up for it.

It was painfully obvious that our cashier was over her job. I can't blame her it was crazy busy in Sedona when we were there, however I do still value good customer service regardless. I wanted to order a pick two with the Asian salad and the triple club but she explained to me that neither of those choices was allowed. I asked if I could just have an Asian side salad, but she said flat no. I later saw that the Asian salad was on the menu as a pick two option but at that point I had already ordered a full size salad and full-size sandwich. The salad wasn't that large of a portion for the price. Two big slices of bread don't make up for the portion. It was a great salad but I would say fairly small. The sandwich itself was decent, the club includes three pieces of bread and not a whole lot of meat. Based on the price it was underwhelming in size. They throw chips all over the top of it which I wasn't a huge fan of either. My partner had the steak and Gorgonzola sandwich, the steak was cold. They were underwhelmed by the amount of steak on the sandwich. Overall it was an overpriced meal for what it was. read more

Still a good bakery restaurant! We had good sandwiches, soups and salads during our two most recent visits on the weekend. The staff were quick and helpful in describing some of the lesser known options. Since it was cold our first time, we had soup and half sandwiches in the pick two menu. The six plus soup options were mostly organic and veggie with almost none of the common soup varieties (tomato, veggie cheese, chowder, chicken noddle, etc.) but we found the options interesting and tasty. I would not only compare Wildflower to Tucson Beyond Bread, but also to Panera. Lots of bread options. There is a AWESOME VIEW from the outdoor patio and if you want to stay warm there is limited seating near a fire place. Located in an upscale shopping mall and close to the official visitor center. Drinks are soda fountain and special brewed teas. Lemonades and juices are behind the counter and I assume no refills on those. Stand back and read the wall for the menu, stand in line to order, sit down with a sign, wait for food. Good place, slightly disappointed by not recognizing the soups, but they were good. Place has a very cozy atmosphere and even had a roaring fireplace. It's very similar to panera bread or corner bakery where you order at the register but the food is brought out to you. Since I haven't had many veggies this week I figured I better have a healthy meal. I had a big bowl of "black forest lentil soup" which was delicious! It was loaded with lentils and had thin slices of carrot. I thought it was vegetarian but I found tiny pieces of ham in the soup. Tasted great and was nice and warm while watching the snow fall outside the window. I also had a 1/2 of their "Wildflower Almond Tuna" sandwich. This was albacore tuna, smokehouse almonds, apple, celery, green onion, and mayo with dill pickle, romaine lettuce, tomato, clover sprouts, and whole grain mustard served on nine-grain bread. It was as good as it sounds. In fact this place is so good we'll be back again for another meal this week. Donna had a bowl of cream of potato soup with 1/2 of their honey-cured ham & swiss sandwich which had red onion, romaine lettuce, tomato, dill pickle, and honey mustard served on pasilla chile rye bread. She too enjoyed her meal and wants to eat again this week. To drink I had a giant cup of their own blend of coffee and Donna had some hot chocolate with homemade peppermint marshmallows. We finished off with some gingerbread men cookies iced with Santa outfits! Delicious! **update** Came back the next day and had the Caribbean Cob salad. Excellent!! It had spring lettuce, spiced pecans, Jamaican jerked chicken breast, pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, bacon, and a spicy dressing. This is how we ended our day in Sedona and it was just perfect. Bright and airy with lots of seating. Great selection of pasties, cookies, and pies. Fairly priced. Variety of hot and cold drinks to choose from. We ordered and then grabbed the open spot by the fireplace. One of the counter staff brought over our desserts. This place reminds me of Panera bread, but once you try the soups, you realized that it's quite different. The layout and such reminds me of Panera. I got the chicken noodle in the bread bowl, my daughter got the raviolis kids dish with cookies and my husband got the half soup and half sandwich. Then later he got the berry pie to share with us, it was really good. It's a nice little stop with outdoor seating with wonderful views of the Red Rocks. What really did it for me was when my daughter spilled her juice all over the floor below her, we asked if we can get some napkins to clean it up. The manager came over and asked "is it on the table?" and we told him "no" and he replied "please go on and enjoy your food, we'll clean it up once you're done" and I thought that was nice that he didn't want to interrupt our meal. I just got back from a trip in Sedona and I have to say all the places to eat in Sedona are amazing! We were in a time crunch and this place opens at 6 am so we headed over before a tour of the Grand Canyon and we were so pleasantly surprised. Everyone was so sweet and friendly. I got their banana walnut pancakes- they were soooo fluffy and they melted in your mouth! My mom got their two eggs special, with ham and homefries- that ham is not regular ham, not sure what they do to it but it tasted almost caramelized. The rosemary on the potatoes tasted extra fresh and the eggs were also very fluffy, not underdone or over cooked, literally the most perfect scrambled eggs I have ever had! read more

The upside to this popular spot is due to it's majestic patio view and allowance for settling for a substantial, but safe meal amongst the touristy trap restaurants and cafes. If you're accustomed to Panera, Paradise or Corner Bakery Wildflower is very much the same. They have pastries, sandwiches, salad, pasta and soups. Large seating area and a lovely patio displaying the beautiful red rocks. Price is expected, I ordered a half sandwich and soup with a small lemonade billing out to around $12. I got a BLT, which was good but found my bread very burnt on the edges but liked the Avocado smear and a good portion of bacon. I got the Potato Cream Soup which was filling and comes topped with a heaping scoops of Paprika, which definitely makes it less bland. It has a very interesting texture, think rice porridge but more soupy. Got a Blackberry Orange Lemonade and found it refreshing, but a little on the sweet side. Service is typical considering how popular this place is, had to wait a bit after a friends food was served before receiving mine. Pros is that it's located in the plaza located to Starbucks, where there is parking and is conveniently walking distance to Downtown Sedona where you can buy tourist souvenirs like crystals or shirts and even hop on Pink Jeeps to tour around the lovely city of Sedona. read more

This is the place to go for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. My parents and I wanted something that wasn't overwhelming and would make us waddle uncomfortably throughout our time in Uptown Sedona. The staff are super friendly and wear masks. I got the egg breakfast with bacon. The potatoes were nice and crispy, bacon was savory, and eggs were fluffy. My parents got the spicy pepper bacon and cheddar sandwich and steel cut oatmeal which they enjoyed both very much. For dessert I got the chocolate croissant that was so flaky, had a soft crunch and gooey chocolate, so good!! My parents got quite a lot of dessert because they do love their pastries. The food sucks, the service sucks. The only good thing is the outdoor garden area. My boyfriend and I got their Roasted Sweet Potato and Roast beef sandwich. The atmosphere is nice, although a little like a cafeteria and could have been a little cleaner, maybe there was just a rush before we got there. We enjoyed Wildflower immediately after a phenomenal pink jeep tour. The drive back was cold and we wanted some warm, comforting, American food to tide us over for our trip back to the valley and warm our bellies. The soups were hearty and warm and decent sized. Good value here. I like that they bring your food to your table after you order and you're not walking through the restaurant with a tray. We were super exhausted after a day of hiking and four wheeling and appreciated the simplicity, ease and comfort of eating here. I ordered the pick two and went with the potato cream cheese soup and the Roast beef, I hit the mother lode. The soup is just fantastic, well seasoned and oh so tasty. The roast beef sandwich is delicious, lean roast beef with red peppers, tomatoes, mayo and artisan bread. You order first at the counter then they bring you your food, no waiting around at the counter. But what this location offers is an outdoor patio with a million dollar view. We only passed through Sedona on our way through from the Grand Canyon toward Phoenix to fly home and I wanted my friends to get a chance to see the town, shop, grab a bite and head out. I found this place on Yelp and it seemed to have a little of everything for our group of four - healthy, sweets, sandwiches, pastas, soups, etc. The inside is nice and well-kept. It's clean and elegant in an understated way with tons of booth and table seating. The bathrooms are modern and clean. They had a lot of options and fresh baked goods (breads, cookies, cakes, etc). My friend got the chicken alfredo pasta which I tasted and it was pretty good. Two other friends got soups and salads - I got the veggie kale salad which was fresh and packed with tons of things like corn, roast cauliflower, eggplant, peppers, tomato, onion, cheese, etc. I'm beginning to realize I hate kale unless it's cooked because it tastes like dirt. My salad was served We chose to sit out on the patio overlooking the red rocks and it was perfect - they brought the food out quickly and brought me some whipped butter to enjoy with my bread. Now - the bread was hard as a rock for everyone. It was hard on everyone's sandwiches - so hard in fact that it was a chore to bite through it. My friend's pasta came with garlic toast and it was hard, my other friend's panini was hard as a rock, the 9 grain wheat bread with my salad was hard. Eww. Stopped here on a roadtrip we were taking from Grand Canyon to White Sands -- it was a perfect pick up sandwich spot with lots of variety in options, had drinks, sandwiches, toasts, pastas, soups, etc. They had so many unique things on the menu that caught my eye! We ended up ordering the roasted sweet potato sandwich which was quite delicious. There was a balsamic glaze along the bottom bread which gave it a sweeter taste. Giving it 4 stars because the bread was a little stale and the crust was extremely hard, and I felt the sandwich was solid but could have been better balanced with some salty flavors. FOOD This is what I tried: -Taylor Ham & Swiss -Potato cream cheese The sandwich was ok.  It was warm and that received well as it was 44 degrees outside.  As for the soup, this is a must try.   Full of flavor and it really warms you up on a cold winter day.  Even if it was not frosty outside, I would still love the soup; I do want to make that distinction.   However, weather did help to enhance it.  PARKING There is parking behind the restaurant in the strip mall. SERVICE You order at the counter and they bring it to you.  Pretty straight forward. PRICE Less than $20 can feed two people. Ordered the butternut squash ravioli to go. Also ordered the feta heirloom tomato salad to go. They show that the tomatoes are sliced but they just throw whole tomatoes into a container cover it in feta cheese, red onions, olives and some dressing. The butternut squash was worse. The sauce is soaking, dripping in butter and oil. The sauce is so covered in oil the sauce won't stick to the pasta. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I somehow I feel guilty for giving one. Time to change that sauce guys. Pretty sure some recipes are out there that taste just as good with way less butter and oil. read more

Love wildflower cafe. We came for brunch and loved it so much we ended up coming back again for dinner. Their juice section is great and very refreshing when it's hot. Their salted Carmel brownie was one of the best brownies I've ever had in my life. Also their vegetable soup was super flavorful and had big chunks of veggies. That reminds me of a Panera. They have a bunch of soups, salads, sandwiches and you can combine them as you wish. We were going in a Pink Jeep tour and this is very close to them, I figured it would be fast because you stand in line to order and then they deliver the food to your table. I took a point off because they were out of mac & cheese for my daughter and she threw a fit. I really enjoyed my chicken pistachio pomegranate salad, I want to say they were dandelion greens or arugula. Whatever it was, it wasn't common and it tasted original and came with a little piece of bread. In the shops adjacent to the Hyatt Reaidence Club, Wildflower was convenient for a quick lunch before a day out and about. Friendly service and a line that moved fast. We went about 12:00 and the place was crowded. We were a party of 6. Three of us got our food right within 10 min or less - but the other three waited over 20 minutes. We had to go to the kitchenwindow and inquire to see the items on the counter waiting for a food runner to deliver. I think it was just an issue I'd having too little staff to get the orders out. I had the chopped salad which was a great size and very fresh and tasty. I subbed the pesto dressing with the cilantro lime. Slow service was the only reason they didn't get a 4 rating. I'd give them another try next time I'm in town becazuse is the great food quality and friendly service. read more
