Arizona-style Panera. Some different menu items but overall this just makes me miss Panera. They have some interesting items -- I got the roast sweet potato sandwich, but it was just so-so. Yes, the fig confit in there was good, but the overall sandwich didn't really stand out. The chicken coconut curry soup was pretty good. The white chocolate raspberry chai was the most amazing part of my meal. The guy at the counter was a bit flimsy and felt like he wasn't paying attention. Otherwise, this wasn't a bad place at all to stop by for a quick lunch, or to grab some baked goods for the hikes. read more

Tried the pesto linguini, alfredo linguini, and broccoli cheddar soup. There was too much pesto in the pesto linguini, but the alfredo linguini barely had any alfredo. The broccoli cheddar soup was good. Service is great. I would come here again, but probably for something else on the menu. read more

In the shops adjacent to the Hyatt Reaidence Club, Wildflower was convenient for a quick lunch before a day out and about. Friendly service and a line that moved fast. We went about 12:00 and the place was crowded. We were a party of 6. Three of us got our food right within 10 min or less - but the other three waited over 20 minutes. We had to go to the kitchenwindow and inquire to see the items on the counter waiting for a food runner to deliver. I think it was just an issue I'd having too little staff to get the orders out. I had the chopped salad which was a great size and very fresh and tasty. I subbed the pesto dressing with the cilantro lime. Slow service was the only reason they didn't get a 4 rating. I'd give them another try next time I'm in town becazuse is the great food quality and friendly service. read more

Super Yummy Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Toast and Pasta along with a selection of fresh breads, desserts, and coffee/tea. Great for vegan, vegetarian, and meat-eaters alike. Very bread centric tho! Whipped butter is yummy too. This Sedona location has a gas fireplace too with low chairs if that is more your vibe. Great views in the day time - super fast and efficient staff. I've been to this location before, and it offers the same delicious Wildflower menu but with the gorgeous Sedona views. After two hours driving to Sedona, it was the perfect spot to dine and relax. It's a bakery cafe that's much better than Panera when it comes to quality and menu offerings. I ordered the Portobello Picnic (4.5 stars). This is one of the best grilled veggie sandwiches I've had. Many times mushroom and eggplant turn out too watery or mushy, but this was very texturally perfect. The roasted tomatoes were scrumptious too. I'm not a goat cheese fan, which I seemed to overlook in the description. There was too much of it and not enough arugula. The Pasilla Chili Rye bread had a little spicy kick that made it even better. I also ordered the Black Orange Lemonade (3 stars). Service (3 stars) could have be better. We didn't wait too long for our orders, and our plates were dropped off with a smile. However, the woman at the register was very rude when we placed our order. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed our lunch here, and their bread is undeniably delicious. They offer a lot of great menu items that makes it difficult to decide. read more

I give this place 5 stars for the 1) service 2)location 3)food in that order. Their salads are the amazing. As soon as you walk in the cashier is smiling and super friendly. It was always busy but they made the food pretty fast! My chopped salad was phenomenal. I went back two nights in a row. Their cupcakes taste a little weird but I shouldn't be eating that anyway. Not a bad place to eat. If you are looking for the intimate restaurant feel then this is not the place. More of a cafeteria atmosphere (or McAlisters) with people sitting around on laptops (why do people do that??). Breakfast was good although they seemed a little frazzled running food and messed up a couple minor things. They also charge $4 for two slices of bacon, so heads-up on the add-ons! The ideal combination of delicious and reasonably priced, without the compromises one might expect from that combination. Beet hummus salad and Southern superfood salads are fresh, lush and fulfilling. Breakfast avocado toast with eggs, plus steel-cut oatmeal definitely hit the spot. We stopped in Wildflower for lunch and left totally satisfied! It is the perfect option if you're looking for something quick, healthy, and fresh. They have numerous options and there's something for everyone, including sandwiches, salads, and soups. They had a great selection of baked goods too, and I definitely treated myself! I got a full sandwich (grilled cheese) which came with potato chips as a side, and a slice of carrot cake. Perfect after a long day of hiking. The carrot cake brought me back to life! The service was super friendly. Both their dining room and outdoor seating were open at limited capacity. The indoors itself is bright, clean, and pretty. Chicken pesto sandwich -awesome! Pesto + feta + chicken: great flavor combo! Chicken was moist, ciabatta was soft, but crunch crust in the bottom -perfect! (you know, so the crust doesn't shred the inside of your mouth) Chocolate chip scone - fantastic! Crispy in the outside, moist in the middle, packed with chocolate chips! This is actually my 3rd time here while visiting Sedona. If you had to compare just to get an idea of what this place is like, it is a WAY better version on Panera. The bakery and food is incredible The service and people are very friendly. There are lots of healthy choices. This is obviously a popular place. All three times I've come here have been busy. There is indoor and outside seating with an incredible view. Bathrooms are clean single room with full door. Plenty of shops read more

We stopped in Wildflower having visited many years before. It's sort of like an alternate-reality Panera. Unfortunately, the day we arrived during spring break in Sedona, the place was packed, and we ended up waiting over an hour for our meal. They were aware of the crazy wait but after a while there is nothing you can really do. They have a lot of good vegetarian options. Food was pretty good overall - soup, salad and sandwiches all around for the group. I particularly liked the bread they served with the soup. We enjoyed sitting on the patio waiting for our food with a view of the Sedona red rocks. Parking was a bit crazy in the shopping plaza, as everything was packed like I said. I think our experience would have been better on a less crowded day. read more

Following my one star review of this restaurant on Feb 17, I received a comment from a man claiming to be the owner that apologized for being tardy and asked "Please email guestservice@wildflowerbread.com with details of your experience and the store it came from so we may have the opportunity to understand your experience and to make this right." I did so immediately and even sent a copy of my receipt so that they would have the exact time of our visit and the server involved. I still have not heard a word. However, for less than the same cost as a salad and a frittata here, my wife and I had a large pizza, salads, drinks and split a delightful desert at a very well known restaurant in Sedona. It seems that Wild Flower is not the bargain that it used to be and no longer focuses on customer satisfaction. read more

Waited about 10 minutes in line. Finally got to the front, they told us they were not accepting any food orders and we would have to wait 20 minutes before placing a food order, and then another 30 minutes before getting the food. They actually referred us to other restaurants. In the past, we've always enjoyed the food. However, getting the kids out of the car, standing in line and deciding what everybody is going to order, and finally getting to the front of the line with no warning that we couldn't order seemed to be a kick in the pants. read more

It's ALWAYS a good experience coming here. Fresh bread & good quality food with a healthy flair are here. A variety of menu options for salads, sandwiches, soups, beverages and desserts. It seems a light line is constant do to so many people living this place. The outdoor balcony is great for dining. You will love the view. We ordered the roasted vegetable salad. For our entrées, I selected the 16oz boneless ribeye accompanied by a loaded baked potato, bacon-wrapped asparagus, and guajillo chimichurri sauce. My lady chose the 8oz Prime Filet Mignon, elegantly topped with herb butter, garlic whipped potatoes, and lemon-zest asparagus. Both dishes were extraordinary! Unfortunately my burger was a little more rare that mid rare the closer I got to the center of it and under seasoned there were some Thai flavors present but most of it was taken over by the slaw, so you did not get much of the peanut sauce, the crunchy noodle part of it go more soggy and so did the bun. I think it's a wonderful concept, I think there may be a better bun to use to not let it get so soggy, and I think there are some amazing Thai spices you can get with the protein. My wife got the Greek Tacos and they were ok too, I love the concept but I think instead of corn tortillas I would do some thin naan , I would have more Greek style seasoning and some kind of sauce with some heat with it and you have a winner. Over all it was fun, love the inventive concept I was going to do three starts but honestly I love that your doing interesting foods. .

It was way too loud and detracted from the dinner. I wanted one of the five beers they had on tap. There was no list available and the wait staff had very little understanding about beer. For example, if an IPA is hazy, that's a different style from a West Coast IPA. They had two IPAs on tap - both hazy. Why? My wife got the blackened salmon which was very well prepared. The fish was high quality and the portion size was good. The only oddity for her was trying to determine why you had to request gluten free for this dish as noted on the menu. The waiter asked the kitchen. There was no gluten ingredient in the dish. Why do you have to request gluten free? I had the chicken piccata. It was a bland couple of chicken cutlets swimming in a thin milky tasteless sauce. There were a few capers but almost no presence of any lemon on the chicken and none in the pasta which was described as lemony on the menu. The only good ingredient was the pickled small red peppers. Most times I've ordered chicken piccata it comes with a lemon wedge or two. Disappointing experience.

Do not order the 'chicken Pesto & Feta' unless you like hard Ciabatta Roll. The Ciabatta Roll was literally like concrete but the waitress was nice enough to switch the bread for something softer. We visited Sedona back in August of 2014. We were there for a week and so we decided to eat at this restaurant based upon trip advisor's recommendation. This restaurant is clean and fantastic. We loved the fireplace and the patio. If you ever decide to eat in this restaurant make sure the weather is nice because the patio allows you to see sedona's gorgeous red rocks. The people who work in this restaurant were not rude or super nice, they were more like average. One of the cashiers needed more training because he forgot our cups. The breakfast was fantastic and the coffee was absolutely amazing. We loved the food and the patio so much we decided to go back couple of days later for lunch. This restaurant offers free wifi. The GPS on my cellphone needed to be updated so I logged in on their router to download my updates. The wifi was like any other place in Sedona, slow! If you are planning to download something large do it before you visit Sedona because the wifi was slow in most businesses. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. read more

Views are everything here, sat out in the brisk am air and we ordered Taylor Ham &egg sands w/ Hickory bacon and bfast potatoes. Just eating in this bakery brings back fond memories of our little local Danish bakery. You just never left w/out loaves of freshly baked bread, Dutch Crunch was my favorite back then. Now a new revolution of bread styles awaits you, we snared a Sourdough round for a trail snack later in the day. Very reasonably priced for a tourist destination and quite clean considering how crazy busy this place is. Muffins, crossaints, cupcakes and cookies make great take-away treats also. To find it, you must go to the Hyatt property above 89a and park wherever possible. Also a Starbucks nearby-so this earns our AM- Break-the Fast award and get your day started right. I'm a native New Yorker so when I see Reuben on the menu, I gotta try it. If I closed my eyes, I would swear I was in a NYC deli! I have had it over a number of years now and they haven't screwed it up yet. I'll get a picture next time so you'll see what a real Reuben sandwich looks like. My girlfriend is a vegan and she says her usual mountain of who knows what vegetation is great also. I love the salad with lavender in the dressing. Watch out for the bread--you could blow your whole diet on its rich deliciousness. A bit noisy at mealtimes, bustly, but everyone seems to get along and a little crowding during peak times is no problem. read more

My wife and daughter in law ordered Chilaquiles both them really liked this dish should have went this route !! Son got the Breakfast Croissant sandwich said it was what ever nothing special. My other son got the Urban burrito liked the flavor but again no flavor . My daughter in-law got the Pump House Benedict said it was great and flavor was absolutely amazing.

But who the heck came up with charging a "health tax??" If anything, eating a salad should have earned us a deduction versus costing us extra! When reading the "fine print" on our receipt, I see the "health tax" is actually a 3% charge put on meals by the *restaurant* to justify their insufficient pay to the servers! Basically they are passing the cost of providing health insurance on to their customers. SHAME on this tax, bill, law - whether it's by the city or state!

It's not a traditional sit-down restaurant. You order at the counter, find a table, and they bring your food out to you. The location is really convenient, right in Uptown and close to tons of shops, so it's an easy place to stop for lunch while exploring. These quenched our thirst without being too sweet or carbonated, and it was difficult to not drink more than one. Our order came out fairly quickly, in about 15 minutes, and was piping hot and fresh. Both sandwiches and fries were great and included fairly large portion sizes. The Rajun Cajun featured an impressive amount of thin cut avocado slices and bacon, although I really did not taste the Cajun seasoning. My favorites were the crispy sweet potato fries and Reuben sandwich with homemade sauerkraut. Be sure to request some of Outlaw Grille's homemade ranch to go along with it if you're a fries + ranch person. We enjoyed visiting this unique eatery in downtown Sedona, and would return for the fair prices & tasty sandwiches and fries.

At 6:40, we checked with the host stand and were told they didn't know when our table would be ready because it depended on when other guests got up. Maybe another 15-20 minutes. At 7:00, still nothing. Again, another 15-20 minutes. At 7:30, an hour after our reservation time and 80 minutes after we arrived, we finally gave up and left. I understand restaurants get busy. Tables linger. Things happen. But that is exactly why restaurants use reservations. If you accept a reservation 30 days in advance, there should be some reasonable expectation that the restaurant is actually reserving a table for you. A reservation apparently means very little here if the plan is simply to wait indefinitely until another party happens to leave. The most frustrating part wasn't even the delay. It was the complete lack of ownership or a realistic estimate. At no point did anyone seem particularly concerned that a party with a 6:30 reservation was still standing there at 7:30. We planned part of our evening around this reservation and ultimately never even got the opportunity to eat. There are too many excellent restaurants that respect their guests' time to spend an evening waiting around hoping a "reservation" eventually turns into a table.
