A friend secured a 7:30 PM reservation so we'd have plenty of time to eat before the band started. The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. Cameron was our server for a party of seven and did an exceptional job! Our food orders were correct and our drinks were rarely empty. It's such a great venue for grabbing an excellent bite to eat, some tasty beers and awesome local music.

I hadn't been to Willhoites in years, and it hasn't changed a bit. Live band rockin' out. Good service by a waitress e ss or at the bar. We didn't eat anything, but they have a nice buffet, or you can order from the menu. Willjoites has been in Grapevine since 1914 when it was a day goods store. Later it became a theater, and then a gas station/garage. One of the gas pumps is still out front.

Not a place that would normally interest me, but my friend chose it for our monthly meet up mainly because we wanted to walk around the area. We came in for an early lunch and to try their buffet. It's an older establishment with lots of wood accents. I think the bar is the main focus and they do allow smoking inside. The dining area is nearby so keep that in mind. The food was just ok. Salad bar was nice with quite a few options. There's a few hot entrees and sides that I think changes daily. They have banana pudding as well as a few other desserts and a soft serve machine. The price was cheap so that's an advantage. The wait staff was very welcoming and our waitress checked in on us often. Very friendly and personable. Overall, not bad but I don't see myself coming back.

$15 AYCE buffet you can't beat it! Especially on a day during grapefest! Plus my littles eat free. Winning! Best deal on the block. Not the fanciest food but not bad all American faire. It's very Smokey with cigar and cigarette smokers at the bar next to the dining area. Live music is nice to have. If I wanted a whole nighttime experience with friends this is it. But would I come here for just the food prob not. I have heard the buffet breakfast is good. Will have to try next time. Service was top notch. Enjoy!

This place has been here forever and he had been awhile since I'd eaten here. You walk into a bar like area that leads into restaurant seating area. We decided to try the lunch buffet and it didn't disappoint! Their salad bar area is everything to make an awesome salad. Their hot foods were so good. We had roast beef with gravy, pork chops, fried chicken with mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, green beans. They had jalapeño corn bread and it was very good. To top it off we had cherry cobbler ala mode! The people are very friendly and welcoming! I can't wait to come back to see what else they have on their buffet.

Finally checked out the buffet, I was a little hesitant due to the smoking option, but I was pleasantly surprised to not smell any smoke for my first visit. Everyone was friendly, food was good, the ambiance had the old tavern rustic feel to it. I love buffets and was impressed on the selection of foods including chicken cordon Bleu, which was a first for me! The French toast sticks were a little hard but still quite delicious!

I saw a guest put their bare hands in the pita basket, pick a pita and then put it back in the basket with others. The buffet area is not commonly cleaned with food bits everywhere. Some customers were touching things and cross contaminating the main dishes. I know it's not the same with the Plano location so I hope manager of this location pays attention to their patrons and ensure basic hygiene standards are followed. I was overwhelming grossed out from it and don't think will ever be back to this location. Ambiance is loud as well with kids screaming and running all around the restaurant, so overall it's a pass for me.

The atmosphere was the ideal setting for our gathering and the mood in the establishment was pleasant and friendly and bordered on festive. Gosh, when examining the menu was struck by how extant the variety of the appetizers were .......so we ordered four different types and were very pleased with the dumplings and the miso soup and the others that arrived. Ah the resort buffet for your all of your breakfast and dinner needs…read more Yes you are going to pay more than you would pay compared to Golden Corral, Old Country Buffet, or any Chinese buffet for the same quality/quantity of food, but you are at a resort and you always pay more when you visit, which is expected. As for the good, it's pretty good for what you pay for. The kiddos love the Mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, rolls, pasta and peas, as well as the desserts. Cause kids just live and thrive off of that type of food. So when you take your kids here they will be full and happy. For the parents, there is also plenty to choose from depending on the day and time. For breakfast, it's your typical super expanded breakfast experience of Eggs, pancakes, bacon, waffles, omelettes, cereal, you name it from a typical American breakfast and boom it will be here. For dinner you can range from prime rib (which is great), salads, pasta, Salmon, chicken, soups, meatballs, bbq ribs and brisket. Service is good depending on how busy they are. Great service if the place is half full, ok service if they are packed, which is to be expected. Overall, if you are fine eating at the resort this is the place to be. If not you are literally minutes from the rest of Grapevine by ride share, or a quick drive. If you are here you should at least try it once, and if you leave hungry, you are not doing it right.

For those entertaining littles you don't really get the value of a buffet and your money can go farther elsewhere. Buffet has your typical guest, fruit, potatoes, pancakes, omelette bar etc. They also had some chef items like Chilaquiles. The buffet is a solid three. Dining with little kids I didn't feel the value was there for the prepaid breakfast I opted for but if I had big eaters, I definitely take the all you can eat option just to fill up the belly before play and get the high price tag out of it. Recommend booking your time in advance via Yelp. Service was nice, area clean, and again the most convenient breakfast option around.

We had vegetarian dishes, malai kofta and mutter paneer, and they were genuinely surprisingly fabulous. They were cooked freshly, not from a pre-made pot. There are ways you can tell if it's really fresh. There are a lot of selections, and they're about 10%+ higher than the small university town we live in, and worth every darn dime. I'm seldom completely delighted, and the food here was great. The restaurant wasn't crowded on Wednesday-- and they should be. The cook is priceless. Give him/her/they a raise! I wish this wasn't my first time, or I'd recommend it without hesitation-- it was really, really good, and I'm a harsh critic. This was for dinner, and we have no experience with the buffet.

They give a daily soup during lunch, today was a vegetable corn soup. It was delicious, with good flavors without being too spicy. In fact the soup was so good that I decided to order their samosa as appetizer. The samosa's were also excellent, so many good flavors. It was served with a chutney sauce and another type of sauce. As the main entree I wanted to try something different than the typical Indian dishes that are the most common in the USA I ordered a vegetarian dish called Navratan Koorma. It's a mix of different vegetables in a creamy cashew sauce with rice and Naan bread. It was good and flavorful. The naan was bread was amazing, I've been to a few other restaurants in the area that have really unflavorful bread so this was nice. I was pretty full at the moment but felt like trying one dessert to have tried something from all parts of their menu and ordered Gulab Jamoon. An old classic, it was very good as well. It was slightly warm and freshly made and was a perfect end to the meal. The service was excellent throughout, the server gave me updates when one of the dishes were close to being ready. I thought the presentation was also very nice. I will definitely keep this restaurance in place next time I'm in the area.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!
