Wildlife technician David came to our house and performed an assessment to determine possible entry points that needed to be repaired. I completed assessments with multiple companies and decided on Critter Control because David was so kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough with his work (kudos to you David!) He was happy to answer all my questions and it really put me and my family at ease. His assessment report was so detailed and we were quoted such a great price compared to other companies. Their process is straight forward, they are transparent with their costs and don't try to push additional services that you don't need. We finished our repairs a couple of weeks ago and we went from hearing movement in the attic every single day to pure silence. I have given NorCal multiple chances to fix the problems but they have not answered my calls,…read moreemails or texts. They came out to fix my rodent issues in the crawl space and attic. Max came out and seemed like a nice guy. I thought he did some things in a strange order, which means that rodents would still be there. Sure enough, rodents are still there after multiple visits. Their business model is based on how many animals they remove so of course they have an incentive to keep coming back it seems. I sent them video evidence and they did not respond. They keep sending me reminders for invoices for incomplete work. They were also supposed to put a barrier attached to a door for a crawl space where rates were eating their way into the space. That never happened so of course the rats still have an entryway. On a related note, their technicians do not wear shoe guards, so they walk around your house with the same shoes that are walking over rodent droppings. I do not recommend them at all. I used them based on the great reviews and the family owned business model.

He inspected, explained, then sent me a quote that day. Very efficient. Scheduled when I wanted them to come. They only needed to do my house in 1 DAY. Wow. Nicholas was the project lead. He greeted me and explained what was going to happen. He patiently listened and explained answers to my questions. The crew kept the place clean, took out all of my old insulation and disposed of it, sanitized the attic, patched all the holes or places that rodents could get in, laid new insulation down. Super efficient. Great company to have worked with. I really like their communications. They text and call appropriately. Most of all, they did exactly what Michael said they were going to do. We call Creature Catchers (CC) as we'd used them in the past to catch a 35pound raccoon in our backyard! CC is a family owned business- husband-wife team, Andy and Sandra. Andy came out and did a complete attic check. He found a raccoon mother & baby(s) had made their home in our attic. Instead of setting up traps, he chose to do an "eviction," which means he banged around with a stick to disrupt/scare the mother (he couldnt actually reach them due to home insulation etc.). That night the mom and babies left!! I HEARD them go:))) No Harm- all good:))! Andy later re-did our vent screens to make sure no more entry points were available. CC KNOWS what they are doing. They are humane, professional, and very communictive. We're honestly telling you- don't search around for another company. They sincerely want to help you with whatever problem you may be having. No matter how big or how small it is. Mine ended up being A BIG ONE! Over a span of a week or two, they caught 12 skunks. Mind you, it wasn't cheap. That's the only drawback. But their response time is fast and they are as just as interested as you are in getting rid of the problem. No one likes to get sprayed by a skunk. Yet when one sprayed him, he remained completely professional. I asked for skunks to be removed and they definitely provided excellent service. When we purchased our home, the previous owners claimed they had eradicated a prior rat…read moreinfestation. Unfortunately, after we moved in, we found that the crawl space was full of rats. Over the next two years, we hired two different companies to perform full removal programs. Both claimed they had fully inspected the crawl space and eliminated all entry points. Unfortunately, when the rats came back, neither company honored their warranties. We then hired 3 Step Rodent Proofing. During their inspection of the crawl space, they found and documented with photos all of the entry points they identified and sealed. In addition, the service technician discovered a water leak and showed us exactly where it was located. We would have never known about this leak without the photos he provided. We were shocked that the previous two companies never mentioned the leak, which turned out to be caused by a bad water pipe connection from the previous owners' remodel. After the work performed by 3 Step Rodent Proofing, the crawl space was rat-free. We did not see another dropping around the vents. About a year later, my wife thought she heard noises under the house. I was pretty sure the sound was coming from our HVAC system, but decided it was better to be safe than sorry. I contacted 3 Step Rodent Proofing, and they had a technician out within the week to evaluate the situation. They performed a thorough inspection of the crawl space and the house and found no signs of rats. They also told me to call them back if we saw any droppings or heard any new noises. Based on our experience, they were the only company we worked with that was thorough, documented their work, stood behind it, and remained responsive after the job was completed.
