We've now bought two Subarus from Williams Subaru in less than the same number of years. Surprising? Not so much when you understand. The people at Williams Subaru make the difference. I'll explain... In late winter / early spring of 2020 we decided to move on from our 10-year-old sedan and were looking for a vehicle that had an excellent repair history, great safety, fuel efficiency, and longevity. After considering a number of vehicles, we decided on the 2020 Subaru Outback. We then considered the dealerships in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. We wound up at Williams for a number of reasons - proximity, price, and personnel. After spending just a short amount of time with the Sales Manager, we decided that this was where we wanted to purchase. The purchase was smooth and "non-pressure", straightforward, and the delivery was great. By the way, if you've never experienced the "Love Subaru" delivery process, you're missing something. One time when having some long service done with my Outback, I was offered a loaner car. It wound up to be an Outback equipped just the way that mine was. It made the wait extremely easy to have a loaner the same as mine. A second time with some long service, I was again offered a loaner. This time I asked for a Crosstrek so I could see what they were like. I loved it! Fast forward to mid-year 2021 with the shortage of new cars and escalating values of used cars. Add to that the increase of my age and the resultant greater concern for auto safety... Our experience with Williams Subaru service and the Outback in general had been nothing but excellent. Again, the personnel made the difference but also the Outback was all that we had hoped. So, we decided that a new Crosstrek would be perfect as a second car. The problem was TOTAL lack of inventory EVERYWHERE, with Williams being no exception. I went online to www.subaru.com and "built" my ideal Crosstrek. Then I went in to Williams and spoke with the Sales Manager about possibly ordering one. Again, an excellent experience as the Sales Manager looked around the Southeast to find my desired vehicle. She found one close to my desires that was in transit to be delivered to a sister dealership in a few weeks. I had to wait a little while, but the wait was worth it. With a minimal number of upfits, it became perfect. I'm not absolutely sure, but I believe that she traded one of her extremely scarce vehicles in the limited inventory to get what I wanted. Talk about personalized service for a repeat customer! The "Love Subaru" delivery experience was again very smooth and helpful, due to the excellent personnel at Williams. I don't have enough miles on it yet to experience the service department, but I expect it to be every bit as good as with my Outback (which I of course still own). I don't plan on looking for a new Subaru any time in the near future, but I certainly am letting my friends know about the excellent folks at Williams Subaru. They're the greatest! read more

My wife and I just recently purchased a Subaru Ascent Touring from William's Subaru of Charlotte and we had a fantastic experience. To preface how great an experience we had I will explain what we went through. My wife and I were looking for a certain color combination which given the supply chain mess seemed impossible to find. If we were lucky enough to find the color we looking for I would call that dealer and the car was already sold! After going through this process 5 times in a row we decided to expand our search and that is when we found the Subaru we wanted in stock at Willams Subaru of Charlotte. I called early one morning 30 minutes before they opened and spoke with Aimee Clark. She informed me that the car I was interested in had sold the day before. She asked if she could help me find the particular model and color I wanted and I said yes. I was working with 4 different dealers all searching for the same car and I needed it by the weekend. Aimee called me back within 2 hours and had found the exact model and color Ascent we wanted. She even worked up a deal to have the wireless charger installed at no cost given we were driving 4 hours to get the car. The day we picked up the car everything went smoothly. The car was exactly as Aimee said it would be and was clean and ready to drive off the lot. Even the paperwork process was painless! I have had horrible dealership experiences before but William's Subaru of Charlotte is family-owned and you can tell they truly care about their customers. I am so grateful to Aimee and all the staff at Williams Subaru of Charlotte who made our car buying experience actually enjoyable. We know were to go when it comes time to buy our next Subaru. I had a fantastic buying experience! I wanted a specific car which they did not have in stock but they said they would call me when it arrived on the lot. Aimee Clark texted me when it came in, because I live 5 hours away (my brother lives in Charlotte, a good excuse to visit) Aimee helped me do all my paperwork on the website so when I arrived all I had to do was switch my things to the new car and sign the paperwork. I sent them pictures of my trade in car in advance so even the trade in estimate was solid. Fauzi, the finance manager went over everything with me, he was great, he did not try to talk me into buy anything extra I did not want, and he explained all about the StarLink and other features of my new car. The new anti-theft dot feature is amazing. After all the paperwork was done Aimee spent a good long while in the car with me setting up my StarLink and SiriusXM. She very throughly explained all the new features that I did not have in my previous Subaru. This was the 1st time ever that buying a car was a pleasant experience! If I did not live so far away I would happily meet Aimee for lunch or drinks. Down the road if I ever decide to trade this car in for a new one I will absolutely go back to Williams Subaru and cross my fingers Aimee and Fauzi still work there. Oh! I cannot say enough amazing things about this dealership and these people. I have been to many dealerships across multiple states and this one has blown every single one out of the water. I traded in my Hyundai and bought a used Outback. When I tell you that Carmen was the most amazing person and salesman I am not kidding. He answered every one of my million questions, was extremely patient, never pressured me for a second, didn't try to force any car on me, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and had the best customer service I've seen. He got me coffee and a snack, drove the cars around to the side of the building we were sitting on, got everything together, everything a customer could dream of. This man stayed an hour after closing to explain the buttons to me since the new technology confused me. But Carmen wasn't the only fantastic employee, Fauzi, the financial man, was exactly the same. He stayed half an hour past closing and went through every aspect of the financials with us, explained the warranty, and was super friendly. Both of these men are incredible and I 1000% recommend going to Williams Subaru and ask for these two. Finally, they also took care of us for after we drove off the lot, they explained what we needed to do for the insurance and told us to call or come back if we needed anything or if anything wasn't up to our standards. I started my search for a new Subaru at Subaru South Blvd and worked with a less than friendly older gentleman that kept trying to convince me that the car they had on the lot was what I needed or the new car coming in would be the one and I should reserve it. I was quickly turned off and decided to try Williams Subaru. There I connected with Aimee Clark and she was AMAZING! I never once felt pressured into purchasing and she genuinely seemed interested in helping me get what I wanted vs trying to get the sale. Williams Subaru has been quite good to us over the years, servicing our old Forester and Impreza, etc. They've proven themselves trustworthy time and again and that's why we keep coming back.
