Willow & Whisk absolutely blew me and my friend away. It's what I would call a perfect brunch spot. We were able to be sat immediately at 10:30am on a Friday at an outdoor table. They're located in a shopping plaza but the tents outside do a lot to make dining here adorable no matter where you sit. The interior is beautifully designed, with a large maple tree as the dining room's centerpiece, and the entire inside smells sweetly of lemons (my guess would be this is a symptom of their popular Lemon Ricotta Pancakes). Service was friendly, personable, and adept. I ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict, subbing the Canadian bacon for Applewood Smoked Bacon. The egg had been poached perfectly and the hollandaise on top was tangy, a tiny bit sour, and generously plated -- I will say I wish the hollandaise sauce had been just a bit sweeter. And the mixed greens that came with it were so fresh and yummy, with a perfect amount of Maple Dijon dressing. The real star of the show meal-wise though was the Patatas Bravas. Holy wow, those were incredible. So flavorful. So savory. So addicting. And only $5 for a hearty serving! My Iced Matcha Latte was terrific too, with just the right amount of sweetness. Let's start with the numerous things I love about this place..... 1- the amazing blond, tall hostess who is beyond nice, peppy and professional. She is fantastic! She was working Oct 5th, Wednesday. 2-the patapas bravas side! I get them every time as an appetizer! 3-the coffee options. If you can't find a coffee here then I don't know what to say to you. 4-the range on the menu. Gluten free, vegetarian, meat lovers are all welcomed here. 5-the maple Dijon greens. My husband even ate his entire side that came with his eggs (normally never happens). The greens aren't swimming in dressing, it's perfect. 6- BYOB.... Amazing. Champagne makes everything better and twice as better when you can bring your own, bottle or two :) 7-the fact that the sandwiches are serious sandwiches. I highly suggest taking half home, it's a perfect snack later when your champagne buzz dies down... 8-the tree with the lights in the middle of the restaurant. It reminds me of game of thrones but in a very nice, less bloody, death and scary, kind of way. Makes me want to take a selfie. 9-outdoor seating option. Saw this place on Yelp's Instagram...any cute little decor indoors is a plus for me to try! Came here on a late Monday morning around 11am and due to COVID, they had limited seating indoors and a lot of outdoor seating. I opted to sit inside which was great because of the quiet atmosphere! You walk in and it's bright and welcoming with the a bar against the back wall. To the left is a gorgeous willow tree in the middle of the restaurant with tables (limited) surrounding it. We sat in front of the coffee bar where it was a long booth seat, perfect for our stroller on the side! The wait staff was extremely clean and attentive and friendly! Everyone wore masks and gloves and social distancing was enforced extremely well. Our waitress was very friendly and repeated our order to us prior to ordering and answered any questions we've had about the menu. The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better. I ordered the breakfast burger which came with a large sausage patty, over Easy egg, and a side of breakfast potatoes which can be substituted with other sides. My husband and I also split the mini breakfast hot cakes which we could've done without , not because it wasn't good, but it was just a lot of food. I'm glad we tried it though because it was definitely something I would order if I was ordering a salad for lunch! Super cute and fluffy muffin shaped cakes with warmed up syrup that wasn't too sweet and pieces of blueberries and bananas My burger was cooked so well and the yolk dripping from the egg made it even better! Haven't been able to dine indoors yet, but they have a great set up in the parking lot under a giant tent as well as a few tables in front of the restaurant store front. It's a little hard to find as it's at the back end of a strip mall, but with a few circles around the area you'll find it. The staff was conscientious about taking proper health and safety measure, and the tables are well spread out. The even have paper menus that they immediately discard after use. Willow & Whisk seems to be serving breakfast/brunch/lunch all day long. The food was good, I can't say it was anything to rave about, but yummy overall. I got the breakfast burger (just ok), but the side salad that comes with your entrees - now that's a stand out. My girlfriends shared the lemon ricotta pancakes, and the whisk omelette - mixed reviews, as one girl LOVED the lemon ricotta pancakes and the other left most of her's uneaten. Both finished the whisk omelette. We were there for a little over an hour before the hostess began to put pressure on us to free the table. There are gluten free options and my grandchildren especially enjoy the pancakes. The coffee is hearty and the prices more than you would pay at a diner but worth it. Disappointing that the chef would actually send something out like that where you cannot lift and bite into the burger without all of it spilling out on to the plate. I did not want to use a fork to eat a burger. Flimsy amount of fries on the side with it did not help. Counting out the fries too? Next time use a smaller tin to hold them because this was half full. Every time I have gone the food is on the cold side. Sometimes the potatoes with the breakfasts are stone cold, or burned. The house sausage is not tasty. This year has been worse than last leading me to think there might be a new chef, it also seem they are counting how many pieces of fruit they put on the waffles now versus last year. I would never wait more than 10 mins to get in here because the food is mediocre and not worth it. read more
