Stopped in for a lunch and only two other tables had customers. It is Covid times but expected a bit more people. The main menu were were accustomed to is not being used and they had a limited paper menu. I was there for only one item, their puff-pastry chicken pot pie but it is NOT ON THE NEW MENU; was very disappointed ... almost left. I was impressed with how good the crab cakes were. The server was attentive and pleasant. She answered all of my questions and was prompt bringing out our food. Also pleasantly surprised to find despite crab meat being $64.00 per pound their crab cakes were still reasonably priced. Looking forward to coming back soon. read more

Do you like a warm,comfortable,friendly and fun vibe? Did you like the vibe on the tv show,'Cheers'. You know, a place where everybody knows your name. Well combine that great vibe with awesome live music,a big dance floor and yummy food and that is Willow Restaurant. Last night we heard a band called 'Out of Time' These skilled musicians took us all for a beautiful walk down memory lane. Only we were not walking-we were dancing because their great music got everybody on their feet. The staff at Willow are also great. Everybody makes you feel at home. And those good feelings combined with delicious food and good music are a winning combination for fun ! Lookig forward to my next visit. read more

My 94 year old Dad wanted a good crab cake and a beer. He likes Timbuktu but they didn't have a table available until 9PM. Snyder's Willow Grave was recently purchased and reopened under the name Willow's. He's an old timer from Linthicum, so I took him there. The host and hostess at the door were very nice and seated us right away. The service we received from the young man was very good. However the food was was not good. My dad got the $24.99 crab cake sandwich. The crab cake came out on cheep white bread with a couple potato chips. The crab cake had no taste. Very bland. He also got French Onion Soup. No taste. I got Cream of crab soup. The worse I've ever had. I had to ask for old bay just so I could taste something. I also got the stuffed mushroom caps. No flavor at all. The food is way over priced for being so tasteless. I'm Sorry to say. I won't go back. read more

Customer service is not in Butch the manager's vocabulary. Thank goodness he has people like Kevin(5) working for him. Our trips there will be limited to when we're in the neighborhood only and only if Kevin's working. We loved the old Snyder's. Went to the Willow and was not impressed. We went back last night and the food was awesome. Prime rib was a 5. My family loved the cheese balls. Cream of crab soup was good too. Our waitress was great. I am not a big fan of the stage. The restaurant has lost it's family feel. And I miss the fried chicken on the menu, the port cheese and the old rolls. We will go back again read more

You will be pleasantly surprised by the food and especially the service. Bartenders Melissa and Pam never seem to disappoint. One thing that always bothers me about other establishments is when they measure your wine. You never have to worry about this you will get a fabulous pour. My go to is the spinach salad with blackened salmon. The salmon is fresh never frozen and fresh caught, not farmed. They don't advertise this but the vegetables are alway fresh also. After years of enjoying Snyder's Willow Grove I am very pleased with the follow up, the Willow restaurant and pub. My wife and I enjoyed a quiet dinner with cream of crab soup, her hot turkey sandwich platter, my bang bang shrimp, and their luscious stewed tomatoes. We talk it off with their hot milk coconut cake which was better than many coconut cakes I've had in the area. I look forward to returning. On the flipside, I believe our server was a bit inexperienced. Could have easily been a little more on the ball. read more

We went to this new restaurant, knowing we would be comparing it to Snyder's of Willie Grove. Not only were we pleased, we were very surprised. We walked in and recognized the restaurant set up. We were greeted by a hostess and asked where did we wish to sit. We looked around and showed the hostess our preferred location and we were seated there. All if the tables has clean neatly pressed tablecloths covering them and full set of silverware wrapped in a linen napkin. Bonnie, the waitress on duty, served us and what an exemplary job she did! She started us off with our drinks, one water and one coke. When she returned, she told us about the specials and yet we knew what foods we were going to order to see if they were still the same recipe as with Snyder's. We looked over the menu and found our favorites and even a surprise... freshly cut and prepared onion rings. Usually they are frozen ones cooked....Not so.... They were freshly cut and cooked when served as our side with our order of Crab Imperial. But wait... fresh hot rolls and butter first. The Crab Imperial was even better than remembered... full of lump crabmeat, filler and a special cream type sauce on top. It came with 2 sides and a garden salad and onion rings were the 2 sides. The garden salad was fresh and gorgeous... various lettuce types, tomatoes, onion and dressing of your choice in a little container on the side. Back to the onion rings... huge rings breaded and served beautifully... around 8 or 10...enough to share. The other order was the special... chicken rice soup and an albacore tuna salad sandwich on wheat bread served with chips. The soup came out first at the same time as the garden salad. The soup was DELICIOUS... full of freshly cubed chicken white meat and white rice in a delicious broth. The soup was shared since it was so good. The tuna sandwich was served perfectly with chips on the side and a generous amount also. The wheat bread was fresh and so soft, cut from a fresh loaf... not a pre-sliced loaf you would buy in the grocery store. The tuna was delicious with Mayo and celery and other seasonings and a huge quantity within the sandwich. As we were enjoying the food, here comes Bonnie with another coke and another glass of water when our originals were only half down. When she came back again to check on us, I asked for containers to take out the food we were unable to eat. One half of the tuna sandwich went home and half of the Imperial Crab went home in separate containers. As we were packing up our left overs, Bonnie brought the check. There were no surprises since the menu had prices marked and they were very close to Snyder's prices. We left the restaurant full and very pleased!!!! BTW: We reheated the Imperial Crab and it was again delicious. The 1/2 tuna sandwich was also excellent again. We immediately texted several friends who went to Snyder's of Willow Grove and told them to call us so we could share our experience. We will be returning!!! read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever at a restaurant! 2 servers for the whole place, took over 1 hour to get our food and then my wife's order was wrong! Apparently while correcting their mistake they put my order under a so called heat lamp and when we finally got our meal mine was cold! We stopped by this place after 9 months away because the last time we were here we were served a drink with 3 or 4 for flies in it! We won't make that mistake again! Avoid this Dump! Looks to me the owners are more concerned about the bar then the restaurant! read more

The food and server Kevin were excellent. The music by Back in Time was mediocre at best and way too loud. We told the manager Butch and the sound man man Larry and both said it was normal. 80db in a venue that size is unacceptable under any circumstances. We will be back for the food and Kevin but only if we're in the area. read more

My sister and I got very, very sick eating there. The owner made a bunch of lame excuses but made no attempt to make it right nor did he once say he was sorry. We spent almost $100.00 dollars for lunch and all we got was food poison. Needless to say we will never eat there again and will tell all of our family and friends for their safety not to eat there either. read more
